Hi, I’m Ben. 33 from N Wales 🏴
Photography side-blog. Ask for main.
I work in photography & film production full time, have done for a few years, as well as my own freelance work on the side. But for a long time hustle culture got the better of me, and I hadn’t been shooting for myself.
This blog is for my personal photography. It was shot by me, for me. If you like it too, that’s cool.
If you reblog, please don’t remove my captions - same goes for the work of others that I reblog.
I’ll work on tags soon ✌️

livin' life on the edge; taking risks; taking a photo with my old slr at 1/4, and doing it handheld
still scared of putting a more expensive roll of film in tho, i have a roll of porta 400 and cinestill 400d waiting in the fridge, cause i wanted to see why ppl like them so much. and i'm too scared to load them

Pentax MX-1 Camera Review
Introduction
You don’t always want to carry around a system camera or a larger camera – heck, sometimes there are places that do not allow interchangeable lens cameras and only point and shoot or fixed lens models.
Being interested in older or vintage gear, I decided to start looking into smaller sensor system or fixed lens cameras. These include 1″, 1/1.7″, 1/2.3″ and 2/3″ sensor…

From the archives: Herbs!
Again, I've been digging through the archive, and stumbled upon these herbs, basking on my balcony, sometime in April 2017. Almost six years later, herbs, just like the lens I used, are long gone, but this photo lives on. :)
Taken with Pentax MX film camera, and adapted Super-Takumar 28mm F3.5 M42 lens, on AgfaPhoto APX 400 black & white film. Developed in Fomadon R09, 1+100 dilution, semi-stand process. Scanned with Plustek OpticFilm 8100 dedicated film scanner, using VueScan 9.5.
