The most ironic thing about Labor Day is that the wealthiest people with the easiest jobs get the day off while actual working class people still have to go to work and serve all the richies on vacation.
If we actually appreciated labor every fast food restaurant in the country would be closed tomorrow, but instead it’s one of the busiest, most dreaded days of the year for service employees.

Funniest thing I saw today was how part of the RE fandom were suddenly calling Leon a rude asshole for how he treats Ada in RE4r/DLC LMAOOOO The 180° change in the usual narrative that says Ada is evil and manipulative to now making Leon look like the shitty one is just funny af, especially because it's Leon the one we're talking about.
Like, they now see and understand(?) her POV better, but instead of being like "she does care about Leon and others! she keeps helping him and saving his life! oh, but he can't see all the things she's doing and she can't give him more details about her job and whereabouts either, hence Leon has trouble understanding her behavior and fears he's just being used again. Well, she does take the amber in the end, so it's no wonder he'd be confused" they're like NO, ADA NICE, LEON BAD AND UNGRATEFUL ksdjsajksajk!!

Guys, is it gay for a girl to sit in your lap and put her face close to yours and essentially do the equivalent of purring
Like, does she like me? What even is this. Am I reading into this too much?

I rather dislike the implication that because I'm listening to classical symphonies at work, I'm one of "those people" who won't listen to anything else. Like... I promise, buddy, I'm not that snooty. This is the New World symphony, it's practically a late 19th century pop tune equivalent at this point for all the airtime it gets, and I'm listening to it now because I've heard it since I was a child and it's musical comfort food, is that OKAAAYYYY??

Small personal thing so uh scroll on if this is not your jam
.
.
But I still think of this time at work when this woman came in (she was a regular, and I had never had any issues with her before) and when I asked her if she wanted her regular order she very abruptly said "No." So of course I was like "oh, okay. What can I get started for you today then?"
This lady looks over the menu real quick and then says "gimme a cheese bread".
For context, the place i work has 3 different cheese breads. So, of course, I have to ask which one she would like. And this lady proceeded to just gesture at me, "just gimme that one" (that one being just plain breadsticks, with zero cheese).
I then, because like it's my job, asked "oh these ones? The plain breadsticks?" (Because, keep in mind, she asked for cheese bread), and this apparently was one question Too Much. Because she looked at and snarled "just fucking give me these ones".
I was a lil startled at that because, again, no issues with her before, and besides being a bit abrupt, there was nothing in that interaction to warrent that. So I started to explain that I had to make sure I was giving the correct product because I didn't want her to get something she didn't want and she looked at me and chose violence.
"Don't make sure, just fucking give me that."
And I was like, "Yeah, no. You don't get to speak to me like that. Have a nice day" Which of course prompted her to start yelling and swearing more as she eventually left.
Long boring story short, a customer came in fucked around and found out.
