Giving the Persona 4 investigation team fursonas.

The only ones I was 100% sure about was Chie and Naoto. Chie is rodent energy and Naoto is a cat.

I’m a little unsure of Rise. I thought a bunny was cute and could emulate her hair style.

I used a similar thought process for Yukiko. An animal with a long neck could mimic the shape of long hair. That’s why I went with a crane.

(Teddy is not included because he already has an animal and human design in the game. Not sure what I could add…)

(Also ignore that some of them have 5 fingers and some have 4…. Oops)

I’m so peeved that Yosuke and Chie didn’t get a cool shadow form 😭 But seeing fan interpretations of Shadow Yosuke sparked some ideas in me too, there’s so much potential!

This was mostly inspired by the anime because Shadow Yosuke transformed the Konishi liquor store into a huge stage with many projections/screens. I immediately thought of Shadow Yosuke being an idol, capturing his desperation for validation and love. He has a microphone to project his voice over Saki’s inner thoughts, and a prison-themed uniform to be on-the-nose with Yosuke’s boredom lmao. His cheerful mask breaks when his Shadow is defeated, revealing his despair and insecurities. I just think he’s neat!

Chai & 808

One of Chai's plan consisted of blowing himself out of a canon to reach a far place. 808 was happy with that

Chai is a guy who is dumb as hell and 808 is a cat-robot that takes on the personality of whoever is 'attuned' to him at the time. Most of the time 808 isn't tuning to anyone so it just does stupid rockstar poses with Chai. The whole game centers around Chai, who stumbles into a corporate conspiracy to mindcontrol people through their artificial enhancements' nerve connections. He only gets in this mess because his heart is surgically attached to an ipod nano and he doesnt see the problem with that. ALSO the devs have said that Chai is inspired by Scott Pilgrim, who isnt stupid persay but he is in that archetype of 'clueless protagonists'.

Yukichie

Literally only one character from the Investigation Team has more than one Braincell and it's neither of these two. Maybe other characters from that game would fit more but like. These two are girlfriends who are dumbasses together
