#snapped at my mom because im stressed about my preboard results and then i apologized and explained that i was rly stressed and accidentally#lashed out and she started saying that im always rude to her and taking my stress out on her ??? and that i never do this to my dad#and then she said i never talk to her about anything even though she's the only one who does everything for me yet i still dont talk to her#and well. maybe if she didnt tell my brother 'if u do this u will end up like ur sister in the future. u dont want to fail in life right ?#then dont do this' (nearly exact words) when she was scolding him . i mean maybe then i would actually want to talk to her#and it sucks because i cant rly talk to anyone irl about this because i still feel scared that they'll like. judge my mom#because i still love her a lot and dont want people to think badly about her#but its getting harder ! to exist here ! and the fact that i am constantly used as an example of what my brother should NOT be#especially when i work this hard partly because i want to be someone my brother can look up to#and to have that come from my own mother . it's really hurtful and makes me feel like nothing i ever do will be enough for her#not to mention the fact that i have come out to her 4 times and she still constantly asks me if it's just a phase#<- i thought that part was getting better but apparently not#but i've stopped expecting anything from anyone in that respect so it doesn't really come as a surprise lmao#anyway rant over i just needed to get that off my chest because i really dont know how long i can keep crying and then forcing my voice#to be normal so that no one asks what happened because wow it is taking a toll on me! who knew#do noooot perceive this

I got 80/80 in a math preboard exam conducted by my coaching and I was the only one who got a perfect score in a batch of nearly 150 kids, like not even 0.5 marks deducted.
but that dry 'well done' from sir can't even compare to what my grandfather, a retired army-school math teacher, said to my mom about my answer-sheet.
' achha likha hai, i remember giving 100 marks to such papers. presentation aur writing bhi sundar hai"
IM OVER THE MOON.
THE SMILE HE HAD WHEN I TOLD HIM I GOT A LITTLE TROPHY FOR MY SCORE AND MY "HOMEWORK-PERFORMANCE"
IM SO FREAKING HAPPY

I am giving boards this year and I am superrrr stressed. No, I don't have any pressure from my parents but I do have pressure from my school teachers. I WAS a good student back then, but then Idk what happened to me. I am terrible in maths and science and i am really scared. I want to cry, cry a lot so that i don't have any tension or pain left inside me. But i can't,I don't want my parents to stress out by seeing this state of mine. They are really supportive.
Expectations from people who want to see you fly is very normal.. we all have been through this. Even you know you have to work very hard, din raat ek karke padna hoga... but what really important is your mental health. Talk to your parents about whatever u are going through. They will surely understand. Even our parents have some duties during the time of boards. I was a great student during 10th, i hardly passed phy in 11th, and got 75% in preboards, then managed above 90 in 12th.
I really wish that you DM me, bcoz it is very hard to give an ans in a general fashion. If you feel burdened with emotions. Write a letter to yourself explaining all the stress, and do write it with anger.. after that go to the washroom, BURN it and FLUSH it. It helps.. it does, trust me here.

Free Seat Privilege for the Morbidly Obese
The reason so many people are willing to sacrifice all claim to self-respect by becoming sniveling victims is the privilege that can be attained through membership in the Cultural Marxist coalition. Consider the newest group of oppressed persons to be played off against the hated core population. The morbidly obese have only just begun to whine, and already they get free seats on airplanes:
Customers whose bodies “encroach” past the armrest are entitled to an extra seat, according to Southwest’s inclusion policy.
Those who are extra obese get extra privilege: two free seats.
As for the rest of us,
The flight team will then try to […] make the seating arrangements, potentially moving other passengers around for the “unplanned accommodation.”
Remember obesity activist Jae’lynn Chaney?
A plus-size travel expert and TikToker, Jae’lynn Chaney, told Fox News Digital it was an important move to include people in the “super fat” category.
“Super fat” is how Jae’lynn identifies. Too bad for her she cannot also identify as a Woman of Color without risking exposure as a racial impostor. She will never achieve the level of oppression of vicious Black Lives Matter moonbat Zyahna Bryant, who is paid by Dove to be a Super Fat black woman. If you hear Zyahna coming, drop to your knees and touch your forehead to the floor in obeisance to her intersectional oppression.
Super Fatties get not only free seats but also affirmation on social media:
A self-described “Fat Solo Traveler” posted a video on TikTok that went viral, obtaining nearly 1,000,000 views since October, showing how she got a complimentary seat. … “Southwest is the only airline that allows you a second seat at no extra cost even if the flight is fully booked… I’ve done this a dozen times and never had an issue or been denied,” [Kimmy (@kimmystyled)] said. Kimmy also said that she is allowed to “preboard” with the accommodation.
Before embracing gluttony as a means of advancement in the politically correct caste system, be aware that obesity still has its downsides, including increased risk of the following according to the National Institutes of Health: type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, metabolic syndrome, fatty liver diseases, some cancers, breathing problems, osteoarthritis, gout, diseases of the gallbladder and pancreas, kidney disease, pregnancy problems, fertility problems, sexual function problems, and mental health problems.
Nonetheless, the liberal establishment promotes obesity. It’s almost as if our moonbat overlords are not concerned about what is best for us.

what about…the clones as people you’d see in the airport at 3pm on a tuesday*?
*assuming non-holiday week
This is ironic because next Tuesday I will be at the airport at 3pm on a work trip! Are you secretly my boss? 👀 If so, I deserve a raise!
Rex- Carrying coffee around for hours. Has probably hit starbucks 4 different times already and their wait time for their flight is only 2 hours
Echo- An oddly specific one. Blonde haired, messy bunned girl wearing a white t-shirt, black athetic shorts OR grey sweatpants, wearing birkenstocks, carrying a vera bradley backpack and a rolling bag, with her travel pillow hanging around her neck. I see them every time! Just pure absolute comfort
Fives- that one asshole sleeping on the ground with their legs sticking out and their hood up.
Jesse- Deer in headlights, first time traveler who has a PAPER TICKET with them. Bless these adults
Kix- The person whose phone is cranked up and they are talking and laughing loudly on it as they wander
Tup- no hesitation business traveler who has no problem running you over on the moving sidewalk to get to the business lounge.
Dogma- mentions to the clerk they have preboarding like 5 different times and asks to make sure they will be first to let on
Hardcase- the bachelorette party coming back from an extended weekend in Miami.. literally the worst flight experience of my life
Coric- The person running across 4 terminals with all of their belongings to catch their next flight because they thought flying into atlanta with only an hour between flights was plenty of time
Bly- the annoying couple walking in front of you slowly with their wheelie bags and holding onto one another. If you miss your flight because of them its totally okay to steal their wedding rings.
99- the airport worker in the golf cart. idk why, but hes always there
Cody- Flight attendants/pilots that are quickly shuffling around the airport to their next flight. they travel in a fucking pack
Waxer/Boil- Mom with a toddler who cannot keep them entertained. pushing them around the airport in a stroller, giving them constant snacks and toys, and having to watch them pick it up everytime their child throws it and cackles
Wolffe- The very tired customer service rep at the flight desk.
Boost/Sinker- Same as Kix BUT sitting next to you at the gate while waiting for your flight
Hunter- The dad who thought it would be cheaper to take a family trip in the middle of the week so him, his wife, and their five kids are going through checklists, looking at pamphlets, and talking while they wait to board.
Wrecker- The loud kid asking everyone questions and running all over the terminal while their parents just ignore it.
Tech- The dude sitting right in the middle of the outlet area near your gate and hogging the whole fucking table. I hate these guys
Crosshair- The group of people who bought plane tickets, but did not reserve their seats so they are now asking everyone at the gate if they will trade so they can sit next to their friends. No maam I paid an extra few $$ to pick my seat I will not trade you.
Omega- The influencer. Look, I love Omega but there is some serious influencer vibes there. selfies all over the airport
Howzer- the security guard that keeps following me around. I know I didnt do anything illegal but seeing the same one over and over again keeps making me second guess myself. like i dunno AM i actually smuggling drugs?
Fox- The group of guys sitting at the airport bar!
Gregor- The man with literally all the snacks. Seeing him at every convenience store in the airport (thats me)

the dumbass website portal thing for this job is still stuck on the preboarding. The person who has been handling all of my HR stuff says contact tech support. I contact tech support. They shrug their shoulders and say contact HR, it’s probably a problem with the website.
....if it’s a problem with the website, shouldn’t the tech support people be the ones dealing with it???

Hello goodmorning how's it going
chemistry went good actually. but I made stupid fucking mistakes (wrote magnesium dioxide instead of manganese dioxide cause they have similar names. forgot half cell reaction among other things)
studying cs and I've never been more sure of wanting to drop it as soon as I can.
dates for final preboards are out. and father dearest filled 4 college applications yesterday. jee is in January's last week + uceed is probably 2 days before jee so I'm praying I don't get that date for jee....boards are from mid February and I wanna die.
I wish nta combusts a day before jee so all papers are cancelled or smth
my mother thinks I'll never amount to anything with how shit my grades are. told me to stop "dreaming" of being an electrical engineer....she can piss off.
my uncle who almost killed himself for not getting iit is coming to visit (and stay) during the most important time of my life till date where I can spare no visits from anyone AND HE JUST DOESN'T UNDERSTAND IT AND I WISH HE NEVER COMES TO INDIA AGAIN. like he understands just how important this is for me but no he has to ruin it.
so yeah that's it for now...

do yyou have any tips for studying eng 2 im going to kill myself because of this im literally thinking of not even opening act4 s1 because it's so tedious i cannot study this also english 2 grading is fucking terrible fpr prelims i got. fucking 45/80 because tje teacher said i wasn't specific enough thats 29 marks less than my english 1 score amd im about to throw hands at that fuck bassanio
My tip for studying Eng 2 is do Not leave out act 4 scene 1 that is literally the most important scene. The scene you can afford to leave out is I think act 5 scene 1 but the problem there is that there's still a chance of both questions coming from that scene. At this point see as many other schools' preboard papers as you can, because the drawback of the Indian education system is also beneficial in that it's so fucking predictable.
In general for merchant of venice, don't leave anything out, I know it's boring sometimes but this is why we have 13 days till the exam. Every day tackle one of the sections and look veryyy closely at who said what and who did what and what metaphors are used. It's not ideal but again, our qp is going to be 75% textual. Look particularly at Act 3 scene 2 full, since there are a LOT of metaphors that Portia and Bassanio use. Break Act 4 scene 1 into three parts: 1) Before Portia and Nerissa's arrival, 2) Before Portia finds the loophole and 3) After Portia finds the loophole. This will help you to isolate particular happenings such as Shylock justifying why he wants Antonio's flesh, Portia's mercy speech, and the verdict given by the Duke and its justification as well as Shylock's punishment followed by his "pardon".
For poems, I think the best thing that can be done is memorizing them. That way you'll be able to think more clearly and properly while writing answers, since you can refer to the text in your head. We don't have Television or any of those very long poems in the syllabus so this is something that can be feasibly done — Daffodils, Abou ben Adhem, I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings, Nine Gold Medals, The Patriot are all more or less easy to commit to memory. Particularly for I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings and Daffodils, look at analysis online and look at the textual questions as well as the 4-markers from other schools, because these are difficult to isolate. (For Daffodils there was one question I saw that was something along the lines of "How is the poem's message significant in the post-pandemic world?")
For prose, you obviously can't memorize the whole thing but the best thing you CAN do is memorize parts. First of all remember every character's appearance. How did the match girl look? How did Joe Thompson look? How did Sibia look? For The Blue Bead, you need to divide the story's descriptions into parts: the crocodile, Sibia, the market, the Gujars, the women going to work, the Gujar woman's attack. For All Summer in a Day, be absolutely sure to remember the children's reactions to sunlight, as well as how they played in the sun. Note Margot's appearance, the reasons she was bullied in general and the way she was bullied on the day the sun came out.
And note that of course this is just my opinion and the way I'm doing it, there might be better ways but well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

hi zainab!
could you please give me some tips for the last two weeks of preparing for my preboards? i am really stressed because i feel like i know nothing though i have studied :'(
Hello babe! First of all I want you to know that preboards are usually harder than boards, because schools want you prepared so if you can do well here than you're more that prepared!
Revision: ofc the first thing I'm assuming you have completed the syllabus by now so to retain most of it you need to revise and revise
Audio notes: another form of revision, but sometimes you get tired of looking at same thing so just record yourself, whatever topic is troubling you just listen to it before sleeping and in one week in it will be printed in those brain wrinkles
Please do not be sleep deprived or Hungry while having the exam, even if you're late don't panic [our topper came 30 min late to physics board exam and yet she slayed]
I didn't had math in 12th so idk how that works but I do know that exampler is your bestie, the more patterns of questions you know the better
In physics all electricity related chapters, gravitation as well is important iirc there will be atleast 1-2 derivations for 3 marks so don't forget those [revise the formula sheet daily too and don't be a clown like me who mixed the formulas]
Another well known but very helpful tip: past year papers!!!!!! Sample papers!!!! Can't stress it enough how much they help try solving atleast 5-8 years, you'll know the weightage of topic, how frequently smth is asked and if you're lucky enough you can get PYQs copy pasted [90% they'll just change the values]
Also, I actually didn't gave preboards in 12th bc covid batch🤡 so I hope u find these somewhat helpful. All the very best ik you'll do amazing<3

THE BIGGEST EXAM SENSATION IN THE COUNTRY
Board exams- a word that is often accompanied by an infusion of fear and apprehension in the mind and soul of an individual, an event in the life of every Indian student that brings with it a great amount of pressure from parental and school side, a platform to face competition for the first time and the premiere milestone in this arena of what we call life. I, having had a first hand experience of the days of the life of a tenthie, stepped into the year 2021 all set for the ICSE Class X Board Examination, ready to face whatever hurdles were thrown at me and to endure a constant insecurity about my preparation. Fresh out of my lockdown days, it took some time getting back to the regular school routine and making myself comfortable with the idea of the two semester system that the council had introduced for the board takers, owing to the extraordinary situation. The year as always began with a long lecture from our teachers about how important the following year would be, testing every bit of our patience, intellect, dedication, perseverance and all the other things required, leaving us in a bit of what felt like dilemma, that we were finally in the class everyone dreaded. All the kids, obviously to get a head start, already joined into tuition classes for all subjects but at the end of the day, it really comes down to how much you can retain and understand. The year passed by with the ever looming dread of the boards over our heads all the time, threatening and warning us. Two preboards in school made me pretty annoyed at how many times you could do the same things again and again. It turns out now when I’ve passed my class X with a whopping score of 98.4 that it was a hoax planned by our teachers. My board year was nothing like what I’d been told by people. I enjoyed it like any other and did not cut down on any of my activities or hobbies. Of course half the credit goes to my parents for not being the villains in my life and believing that I’d do well. I’m just gonna say that as long as you manage to keep a cool head and a calm aura right up to the day of the exam, trust me nothing can take those marks away from you. You need to trust the knowledge that you have, all that you’ve learnt and just give it your best shot. Coz people if you’re not the school topper or things didn’t go as planned, it’s not the end of the world please. You can plan again, try once more and you can choose your board year the way you want it to be. There are no implications on you so just work the best you can in a way that’s more convenient to you.. it does teach you a lot, somehow shapes you into a better person- someone who can handle stress when they have to. So for the people who think boards are a nightmare, guys just relax and play along because life goes on and at the end of the day, so do you.
Thanks Mom and Dad for just being there when I didn’t feel like myself at all and for not being like all the other parents, for not letting me become boring just for a board exam. By Sheryl, fresh passout from class X

so i go to this science coaching for the past 2 years and the sir is quite good at teaching and gives good material but otherwise is a shitty dude (the amount of times me and my friends backbitched about him...)
so the only reason i was gonna go today was to collect my answer sheet for the preboard exam we gave earlier this week (your girl topped with 79.5/80 ) and my mother absolutely forbade me from going.
like, imagine being so toxic that ppl who never even met you have such disdain for you.
