sorry for having thoughts about the evil car again but oh my God this whole scene is so fucked!!! such wanton cruelty on Professor Zündapp's part that shows off how smooth, efficient and calculating he really is. the whole time Acer’s interrogating Rod, Zündapp just calmly explains exactly how Rod’s body is going to break down thanks to his weapon...it’s a genuine act of physical and psychological torture. but the second Zündapp realises Mater has the device, the theatrics are over. whatever pleasure he was getting out of torturing Rod is irrelevant, because Rod is no longer necessary...to Zündapp, he was as good as scrap the moment he set wheel into the Lemons’ lair. i know many fans wish we’d gotten Zil as the Big Bad, and i definitely do feel Miles wasn’t the best choice, but i think Zündapp would’ve been a killer stand-alone villain. he’s such a chilling presence, and always a step (or ride?) ahead of everyone else...his intelligence, power and motive are never in doubt. definitely one of my favourite animated villains of all time 🚘🔥

Figured these should eventually be released into the world before the year ends. I had alot of fun doing these studies months ago when I did. They're dated almost all the way back April this year, just never posted them to tumblr. The colored Miles and Prof ones are based off of a storyboard style(Image above my takes was the reference and I didn't draw that! However Miles was my own take on their style bc yeha they never drew him :')). Whoever those pixar employees are I hope u know I greatly enjoyed how u gave the prof a toothgap and I enjoy ur styles they're so simple and yummy to try and draw myself.

Also maybe I'll draw the prof again someday but like, I really fell out with him. My hyperfixation moved to his two henchcars and Vlad LOOL

Okay I have a serious question for cars fandom; How the fuck does Zundapp (and some other mid-engine models) get his engine fixed if somethings wrong with it? Like in human world you'd have to get into the car and move the seats in the middle to get to the engine, (and I have heard that working on the engine is hard irl too because of it's placement) but I'm pretty goddamn sure it don't work like that in the cars universe.

And don't they have brains or stuff in the cab space if the car anatomy pictures that I've seen are correct?? So you can't just open his back door because organs on the way??? Or is he just built different?

Bro how are you going to get that fixed if something breaks?

Imagine having to have a sparkplug or something like that replaced and having to go trough a fucking surgery because of that.

The only explanations for Professor Zündapp being playable in Cars 2: The Video Game is

1. It’s apart of his jail sentence and wants it to be shorter so he joins the spy agency to atone for his misdeeds

2. He’s going through a kind of redemption/rehabilitation arc and Finn Mcmissile decided to help out the lemons (like give them better care and stuff) so he made a deal with Otto Wolfgang Zündapp that if he stops his evil schemes, him and the lemons will get the help they need.

Idk this is just my speculation lol
