mall security mike taking his bratty coworker, you, to build-a-bear workshop. he didn’t see you why you couldn’t just go there without him, given that it’s located in the mall and he isn’t some parental guide — mike would expect for you to not bring him along because you “hated” him, remember that? but still, you were insistent, pouting with quivering lips and glossy puppy eyes, he’s still surprised it actually worked. now, he’s idly watching you excitedly pick out a bear, rummaging through the sacks of soft fur and variety of colors.

without even trying, mike thought you were the cutest thing in the world — your lips curled into a soft smile with eyes that sparkled under a nonexistent light. your inner child shined under the limelight, it was refreshing to see, despite it being you. after waltzing around the shop, his hands stuffed in his pockets as he lazily mumbles replies towards the options you splayed in front of him — you finally name the bear.

it was covered in soft brown curls and adorned with beaded black eyes, dressed in a hoodie and small sneakers. for a split second, mike thought it looked like him, but he dismissed the notion. thoughtfully scribbling on the certificate, he swore you wrote an ‘m’ then an ‘i’ and – oh wait, now he couldn’t see what you were writing? well, whatever then.

the walk back to the security office was oddly quiet, without your usual quips and efforts to push on his buttons. mike looked at you with concern, noticing a brush of red passing along your cheeks as you gazed down — the certificate in your grasp. it was his name. you named the bear after him. from this realization, mike suddenly chokes on the coffee he was just swallowing, throat burning from the hot beverage.

he was shocked, but kept quiet. he’ll gladly take you bombarding his little coffee accident with laughter and insults in order to save him the trouble of finding out your feelings towards him. mike was too tired for all of that, especially now when half of his coffee was spilt all over him.

Okay okay lets talk about some other characters now

First i want to explain something about how the animatronics are powered

They are powered by remnant from cassidy

All the animatronics except for r. foxy are made from cassidy’s trauma which is why theyre pushed to kill william

This brings me to springbonnie

Ive gotten a question about springtrap and i decided to not put springtrap into the au but instead make it springbonnie

Since william killed cassidy in that suit, the trauma she has connected with springbonnie is strong, which makes springbonnie a bit different from the rest

Throughout their entire encounter with william, they keep subtly reminding him of what had happened, of what he did

This makes foxy slowly question william abt stuff which he obviously shrugs off as if it didnt mean anything

Definitely one of the more meaningful and intresting encounters

Now lets get onto a character ive been hiding for a while

The nightmarionne entity (bcuz im too lazy to type its name imma call it death)

The one that gives william his actual judgement

Death finds special intresest in tormenting william because he played with remnant and decided to try to created immortality

I like to imagine it being the final boss of the whole au

Also it is at this point where foxy would find out about william’s true identity

The reason why nightmarionne is death in the au is bcuz of that one theory that i rly like

(Briefly just explaining stuff rn i want to explore all of this in detail in seperate posts!)

Had some ideas for a Solver flesh-based fankid for them (using the arrow creature Uzi made for reference). Had to set this in my existing parent AU since I've already poured a lot of thought into that. I would imagine that she looked like a blob with an eye when she was born, and then shifted her body over the years to approximate what her parents look like. So she has the drone shape to her with Solver flavoring.

(Also lowkey wondering if maybe the hook on the tail should come out from underneath instead since the needle on Disassembler tails comes out from underneath. Idk she might look a little too demon-ish and wondering if a retake on the tail tip would help things)
