so… I might be inactive for an undetermined period of time.

I have a family member in hospital and they’re due to go in for surgery sometime soon (we don’t have the date yet) sooo…yeah my mind and mental health isn’t exactly the best rn and I feel re-blogging and posting nsft/nsfw content is a bit inappropriate given the circumstances.

Whumptober Day 28: It’s not just in your head

~300 words Nightmares, flashbacks. Gonna try to finish all the prompts for the 31st so expect a few q’d posts throughout tonight (sorry for spam)

The fact that he was often referred to as a nightmare made this scenario even more ridiculous than Omen originally thought possible.

Being the shadow that he was, he didn’t even know if he slept, but he still needed rest of some sort. Sometimes he needed meditation, other times he actually closed his eyes and got the closest to dreaming that he remembers for… for as long as he’s been Omen. But never has he ever dreamed while in that “sleep”. He imagined it to be something like when Kay/O went through his programed shut down when undergoing repairs. All that only made his recent nightmares feel even more stupid.

But as he rested in his protocol mandated room, he didn’t want to lay down. Although he didn’t even know what he dreamed of, he was… afraid.

When Omen was… human, he had been quite the mind to contend with. People looked at him with admiration and respect. He saw himself walking through the halls of the K-Tech lab, felt his mouth turn into a smile as he passed a younger Viper in the halls. He was going home. His work was done, and he could enjoy a relaxing night with some good take out and the comfort of Fredrick, his cat. The black cat would be curled up on him, purring contently as he watched a movie he’s been wanting to watch for a while now, but didn’t have the time for. If his friends were up, maybe they’d invite him out that night and tease him about his new job with the megacorporation until he offered to pay for the night. He could sleep – real sleep, not the strange trance he pretended was sleep, and he could remember what it was like to be whole.

But when he woke up again, he’d be cold, his body barely stayed together and also ached at the cracks. He didn’t remember what he dreamed about like always, but he wanted to. Because he couldn’t handle the shaking, the aching in what was left of his insides, and the bubbling in his chest anymore.

Mini Hiatus 💔 (-Sunday)

Hey guys! It's no surprise that my posts have died off lately. With my jobs picking back up and the Hurricane gone, things have been a bit stressful/busy

So I can safely say there probably won't be new content unless it's q'd or until Sunday. And I'm sorry I'm unable to crank stuff out just yet.

Also, I have had a lot of very personalized prompts, which is great! But some are starting to border on commission-level prompts! So I've considered making a Ko-Fi, so if you guys happen to like that content and want to support your smutty writer, you could! And, maybe depending on the amount, I could do brief prompts/commissions? Smut or sfw, prose or headcanon
