∘ you and MEDICINE POCKET are drastically different...medicine pocket is more of a logical person while you are more creative, they are more "eccentric" while you are "normal" -- at least, that's how others deem you two... when you two feel comfortable making your relationship public, most people are shocked that medicine pocket would want to date someone like you, and vice versa.

∘ although medicine pocket doesn't exactly understand romantic feelings, they'll try to learn so they can understand your relationship with you.

∘ you'll often invite him to parties and things like that, but he knows he'll make things "weird" so he usually declines. however, with enough persuasion, he'll grudgingly go with you (and cling to you the entire time).

∘ she enjoys your company and likes you just by her side in the lab, with her experimenting and you doing your own thing. sometimes, when they finish their work early, they'll just cuddle with you in silence, a sly grin on their face.

∘ if you're interested in drawing, painting, or things like that, he'll insist on seeing your works. if she finishes her duties early and just doesn't feel like experimenting for fun, she'll watch you. they won't say anything, just staring at your hands as you work with sparkles in their eyes.

∘ if you're interested in acting, playwriting, or things like that, he'll watch all of your filmography. she doesn't really care if it sucks or not, as long as it's made by you she's fine by it. occasionally they'll want you to watch your films with them, having you snuggle up with them on the couch of their room while they hold a content expression on their face. not like you can see it with how dim the lights are, with the faintest view of him with a smile from the tv light.

∘ SONETTO, one of the best and obedient members of the foundation, with you, one of the few troublemakers who kept their mischievous charm despite all the trips to the detention. you two met because you were in the same classes. while you were smart and tactical, you spent most of your time causing mischief and pulling pranks on the students and sometimes even the teachers.

∘ she doesn't really grow close with you until you two reached your teenage years. you both have grown more mature, although you still like to prank your peers.

∘ she's quite surprised when she realizes that she is, in fact, in love with you. she's not sure how to react to the information after loving vertin for so long. but after seeing vertin with schneider, she realizes that she has to move on. with you, she makes sure that you don't like anyone else before deciding to make a move.

∘ you two were simple acquaintances, and she knew that you might be a bit taken aback by the sudden request to go on a date with her, so she'll take things slow. mostly for your sake, but also hers.

∘ when your friendship grows deeper she'll decide to take you out on a date. she'll dress up extra nicely while keeping a simple look. she tries to be secretive with it (unless you don't want to be) in case one of the foundation members catches you two and chaos ensues. while she would love to show you off and show everyone that she's yours and you're hers, she'll be afraid of the possible consequences that both of you may receive from the higher-ups. i mean, how would they react with one of the foundation's top members being with one of the worst troublemakers? if you're alright with it, though, she is too!

∘ CLICK is a huge introvert. he prefers solitude, or being with the animals in nature.

∘ that's when you came along in his life -- or afterlife.

∘ it doesn't take long for him to fall in love with you, to be honest. he's lacked human affection for so long that he doesn't even question how you're able to see him for a while.

∘ what really confuses him is why you like him, too. you're an extrovert, and you're popular with everybody in town. why go after a dead man when you have so many other living options?

∘ he's too scared that you'll reject him so he waits for you to make a move, which doesn't take long because of your blazing confidence.

∘ he likes to take you out on dates when you two are alone, with him taking pictures of the scenery while you ramble on about your day and other things. however, if you want to go to a party or just a louder area of town, he'll accept. it's not like people will approach him, anyway, and the only issue he'll really have is the possible loud noises. he'll usually just stick by your side, clinging onto you so he doesn't lose you.

∘ being known as one of the "less fortunate" foundation members for his "chaotic" and "peculiar" behavior, HORROPEDIA is a bit shocked himself for falling in love with you. however, he learns to accept it quickly.

∘ you and him have been best friends since childhood, despite being polar opposites. you have been by his side as he has been by yours. not many people are aware of your friendship, somehow, with you two growing farther apart as you grew up. you had your duties in the foundation as did he.

∘ however, after being paired up with a mission with him, you two grew as close as you were before. he clings to your side suddenly, ranting about his recent horror watches while you listen whilst doing your work.

∘ your superiors advise you not to be with him so often, claiming that he's "distracting" you. sure, your performance hasn't been the best lately, but you're still a very good and hard-working member. you're just happier than you were before.

∘ horropedia decides to make the first move, asking you out on a date after a while. he'll simply take you to his room, going on a horror movie fest as he shows you the movies you've missed since you two have grown apart. he doesn't mind rewatching them at all, because it feels like an entirely different experience with you watching with him.

∘ what a shocker! BLONNEY, the popular, stylish social butterfly with you, the unpopular bookworm.

∘ she pretends not to like you at first. she ignores your presence, only responding with a grumbling "they're weird". secretly, however, they adore you. they admire how you're able to not pretend to be someone you aren't, minding your business and not acting to be liked by others. she's fascinated by how other's opinions don't really affect you. or if they do, you don't let it show.

∘ after the events of green lake, she returns to college and acts like nothing happened. instead of ignoring your presence, however, she decides to approach you.

∘ she seems to like you, but you're unsure if she actually wants to be friends with you or she's just manipulating you to use you for something. as time passes, though, you come to learn that she's actually being genuine about her feelings.

∘ she believes that she has to make the first move. as much as she likes to be asked out by guys on campus, she feels as though she has to make the first move on you. she doesn't know if it's because she thinks you won't make the first move because of your shy personality or of some odd lingering feeling.

∘ her friends are absolutely flabbergasted by her dating you. some believe that she deserves better, some don't even believe that she's dating you. she drops all of them unless they apologize, saying things like "they're a wonderful person!" and telling you not to listen to them.

∘ she's your #1 protector, basically.

A Kaleidoscopic Bloom

Sonetto often says this: "I know the Moon, and this is an alien city."

On a surface level, this is just a reference to 'A London Thoroughfare. 2 A.M.' by Amy Lowell. Sonetto uses it to help cast Exhortation IX.

However, it goes deeper than that. Something it took years to fester in her, and years to realise it.

Vertin. The Timekeeper. Her friend since childhood...

...And...

Vertin is the Moon. Or, rather, she is Sonetto's Moon.

Vertin is an anchor on this chaotic ship that sails through time itself. And, at the same time, she's the captain, Sonetto as her first mate.

It is very difficult to get a reading on Vertin's emotions. But to Sonetto, she can see which smiles are work-related, and which ones are genuine.

Vertin made her feel... not dumb, no. But make her slow down.

Every moment away feels like an eternity, despite how ridiculous it sounds. Infinity is a concept that can only be grasped by a few. Eternity (that is, the Arcanist) could count, but she herself is only a century old, compared to others like Voyager, A Knight and Dikke--

Sonetto was brought out of her musing when Vertin tapped her shoulder.

"Are you okay, Sonetto?"

Sonetto paused. Around Vertin, forgive the childishness, but she felt invincible.

"Yes, Timekeeper."

Vertin smiled. A genuine one. "That's good to hear."

Sonetto knows the Moon. And around Vertin, locations become a familiar city.
