I feel like half the people who pushes the Andreil gets married agenda has it stemming from something deeper. I personally have no problems with it since in my head, they get married for the tax benefits and hospital and money and all,, but also in my head,, they don't get married at all because Nora said so and it makes so much sense.

But also also— as someone who grew up in a country where same sex marriage is illegal and we rarely see same sex couples pursue marriage on media (or same sex couples at all) I feel like we developed a mindset where it's no question that these couples have to get married. Even if they have the choice, just as straight couples, not to. Even if they don't want to.

Because we've been so deprived of it, we want to see it the most we could, and with Andreil, what's so bad about headcanoning it, to be honest?

I have this nonsensical AFTG headcanon where Neil gets Andrew a dictionary as a gift. Andrew, upon opening the dictionary, was surprised to find it vandalised?? until it dawned to him that Neil had drawn within the pages, sort of an intentional attempt to personalize it. Andrew never really noticed anything special with the little scribbles (there were tiny stars, foxes, paws, clouds, and other cutesy little things) and actually took the time of his day to go page by page. It wasn't until he was halfway through the thing that he realized he hadn't encountered the words he hates. He went back a couple pages and it dawned to him that Neil had drawn over his trigger words, so perfectly seamless with the rest of his other little drawings that he didn't even notice.

Andrew may or may not have raised Neil's percentage before kissing him speechless that day.

(Extra: if Andrew highlighted the words "home", "nothing", and "rabbit" despite his eidetic memory, no one needs to know.)

(Extra: the foxes gets Neil arts and craft stuff and that's what Neil mostly used to vandalize personalize the dictionary)
