Today on shit I just do not understand: my friend that wants characters to die when they “don’t show any signs of development” by his standards or when he feels there should just be a cull bc why not?

Exhibit A: In RWBY where he wants Blake to die now bc she “shows no sign of development or wanting to develop” which I especially don’t get bc this last volume had like this huge thing where she and Yang grew and changed together???

Exhibit B: In MTG story rn he wants War of the Spark to kill at minimum half of the walkers we currently know of simply because “there’s just too fucking many of ‘em” and to also “burn Ravinica to the ground” bc he thinks wizards shouldn’t get to have such a safe money maker as Ravnica which I find abhorrent bc to mindlessly kill and destroy characters and in magic’s case settings for no other reasons than the sake of doing it is a creatively bankrupt thing to do and I do not believe for a second that nobody at wizards or at least on their potential hire radar has no ideas of what to do with these places in a constructive sense

Is there any information about how Jace survived/lived on Ravinica when he planeswalked there for the first time? Like he got his memories wiped so it must have affected him somehow.

Agents of Artifice talks about it. Emmara Tandris took him in for a while, and he eventually made a living blackmailing rich people because he could steal their secrets.

📑 - favourite deck you play? 

I think so far my newest deck is my favorite baby right now. Green/Black deck. I use Mazirek to beef everyone up and cards like Ant Queen, Pharika and Mycoloth for tokens to sac and Bloodflow Connoisseur and Brood Butcher to do it. Really simple but really fun to play I was going for a like fungus/insect flavor

Orzhov is my favorite guild, I actually first started playing Mtg in Gatecrash and i got the intro pack with Treasury Thrull and that was my first real deck. I also love the aesthetic and flavor of the White/Black cards especially from Ravinica. also Teysa is bae.

👢 - favourite Planeswalker(s)?

Imma cheat on this one actually. sooooo....Kaya and Liliana. I know that’s 2 but hear me out. I love that Kaya is a black female plainswalker and she W/B and fits in my Orzhov deck perfectly. I have always loved Lilli from the start I was always a fan of her design and her story involving assassinating the demon lords.
