The Lost Art of Guiding Each Other

People have a tendency to vocalize their questions, seeking external answers. Why? Because we possess the unique ability to read one another.

"You're an open book" - indeed, we all are.

It's an inherent feature, woven into our very design. Reading each other isn't a skill to be acquired; it's an instinct, a compass meant to illuminate our paths. We are here to offer external insights for internal revelations. People act as verbal mirrors, reflecting our inner struggles, aiding in our comprehension of the obstacles, patterns, and behaviours that lead to unhappiness.

Yet, somewhere along the way, our intentions became distorted.

These days, we often withhold our guidance. Fearing that by sharing our insights, we might inadvertently clear someone else's path to success. We turn a blind eye or provide misinformation, hoping to keep them off course. We understand the root of others' problems, but we hesitate to be the guides they need, driven by the dread of their triumph. We therefore preach that the answers lie within.

We have become cynical, mistrustful, and possessive.

We still ask our external questions, as we are inherently designed to do so. However, the distrust, cynicism, and greediness have skewed the answers we receive. The genuine souls who dare to offer honest guidance now bear a heavy burden. They strive to assist those who have grown weary of heeding advice, driven by the fear of being led astray.

It is this fear of misguidance that fuels the chaos surrounding external answers.
