Going through RI after LOTM is an interesting experience. I was reading Reverend Insanity yesterday and I felt like this scene goes super hard. Fate Gu being a spider has some cool symbolism for how Fate controls people with an intricate web of uncontrollable coincidences that forces them towards a certain outcome. Everyone in this world is trapped without realising it, their beginning and end has already been spun onto those invisible threads.

I can see some parallels to reality because there’s always a degree of randomness to life that makes it unpredictable for us, but what if that was all just the whims of Fate?

Also, Red Lotus is based as fuck for trying to break Fate Gu, and there’s actually some characters who managed to break free from the strings of fate due to the damage dealt to it.

And of course there’s the ‘Heavenly Court’ trying to stop this lmao.
