god knows i’m not even remotely equipped to dig into it (i’m not) but racism in rgu is definitely like, a topic worthy of discussion i think. iirc prototype akio’s character sheet describes the decision to make him (and by extension anthy) southeast asian to make him uhhh ~exotic~ or something to that effect (i think the word choice was exotic but it could have been “wild”)
