Okay, here’s a prompts/headcanon since me + writing = procrastination.

IF someone feels like actually writing something like that, do tell me.

I believe there will be one day, perhaps five years or shit from the current timeline, when all will be well and solved — a time of smooth sailing at last.

When we discover that Johan and Luah had been living together for quite some time

In that time, at long last, the Mighty Warren Chae will propose to Sally Park.

The thing is, Sally finds herself rather confused. She knows for certain that Warren is an orphan. So how does she have in-laws to meet? Warren... isn't too sure either.

Or,

Manager Kim invite his spiritual son and daughter-in-law to be at his home to congratulate them on their engagement.

Unfortunately? no way in the world Hansu Seong and Jincheol Park would miss out on meeting the rumored heir of their friend.

• Taehun really didn’t want to come. Unfortunately, Manager Kim is a man who can, has and will beat his ass if disrespected, so he had no choice but to be there in his most proper suit to politely greet the guests.

• Dabin heard her dad’s friends’ pupil were strong guys around her age, so she came out of curiosity, but now she feel wronged, no, in fact she feels personally offended. One is an a vicious looking ostrich, only it sticks his head in the ground whenever Mr. Kim so much as glance his way, and the other is a massive, collared dog with a freaking identification tattoo, who is always, A.L.W.A.Y.S standing at attention toward wherever his fiancee is. Ugh, so tamed it’s gross. At least the dads are raising the bar, with Mr. Sung being a Ninja Shrimp and Mr. Kim a Black Panther.

• Minji and Sally bond over being unimpressed at the whole shitshow turning into a successor competition between the three old men. Well, between Manager Kim and Hansu, while Jincheol is complaining about the wasted potential of his future? potential? son-in-law and he gets choked by his daughter who start screeching about the comparative merits of a bear and a honey badger.

• Bonus is that Taehun (bored) text a pic of the room to Hobin, who shows him to the others, and Rumi & Gaeul instantly identify Big Mama and Big Uncle from Like What & So Funny’s streaming, and pester Hobin to go meet them. Perhaps even Gaeul dad’s pursue follows them cuz he does not approve of his daughter going out so late at night ("What’s with the rat and the rooster," says Dabin)

• Chaos upgrade to another level as the old men are getting drunk — trying to get their respective successors fight, including Hobin. Meanwhile, the girls are… chatting? Appalled? Squealing over pic of Yenna? Trying to stop the stoopid guys from fighting? Watching with pop corn? Dabin at least sure is.

note on Dabin’s animals:

— Taehun is an ostrich cuz they are super aggressive, super territorial, super fast and have deadly kicks. Also there’s that thing about sticking their head into the ground facing danger, that isn’t actually true, but I found it funny to use it as a mark of Manager Kim’s dominance

— Warren is a dog. Yeah, I thought I would keep the dog for Johan, but ‘fidelity’ is Warren second name, so. Btw Johan is actually more of a lone wolf than a dog in my opinion. So dog Warren as a collar, and an ‘identification tattoo’ cuz while tattoos generally make for meany-scary, for Warren it’s more of an owner-branding. He’s a simp so dog-Warren is always turned towards Sally even (in the rare cases where) human Warren isn’t.

— Hansu Seong is a ninja shrimp. Those little things are mad. Don’t wanna make a whole essay so I’ll just say their specialty is explosive hits.

— Manager Kim is a black panther. Dark, dangerous, silent predator, king of the jungle, I don’t think I need to explain

— Hobin is a rat 🐀 — sly little thing with higher intelligence than most other animals, and a great learning capability — plus they can use tools. Also Hobin is like, a rat for money stuff.

— Gaeul’s dad (= Hobin’s master) is a rooster 🐔 yeah I know the guy in rooster mask is Samdak, but he has the rooster vibe? Idk I’m running out of ideas. My first idea was duo rooster and chicken for him and Hobin.

What a WASTE. The main love interest and there's... nothing there. NOTHING.

I think I may have described her as a plank of wood with tits. Man, I just wish she had more personality.

Being pretty isn't a personality trait. SERIOUSLY.

What do we know about her? She's intelligent because she's shown to be a plot device for Yeonwoo, privileged due to her parents. What else is there?

I'm sure she's a nice girl, and my dislike of her really isn't directed to the character. Just. Frickin' PTJ and his wonderful skills at writing women.

And oooooh nooo PTJ and his team can't ever forget the boobs btw. WHAT is with the women's bodies especially in season 2?!

Oh. And wtf. Did she really get beaten up as a plot device to bring Munseong back? My my, that's a new low isn't it?

Rumi

Quite like Rumi. She's shown to have a decent character development. Initially quite vapid and shallow but turns out she is kind and supportive and a really wonderful friend.

Also loved the arc where she quit the company and got scared. A very realistic response imo to everything and made her seem more of a rounded, three dimensional character.

Actually loooove her and Wangguk together, but I do NOT enjoy the pace of their relationship or how they got together. C'mon, you don't have to rush it.

And Wangguk blowing up whoever's place cos of Rumi's deepfakes?? BRO. WHAT ABOUT YOUR SISTER?? But that's a rant for another day.

Gaeul

Girl can fight!! Don't have much to add to her, although her character started off strong and now....

Honestly wtf was that Fake Couple arc with Hobin? WHY the unnecessary drama. Why are we reducing Gaeul to the third wheel between Bomi and Hobin??

Why are we also rolling Gaeul and Snapper out whenever the plot needs to move forward?!

I fucking love this bitch. Never change.

Guys we were THIS CLOSE to having this character butchered and turned into another Hobin simp.

In Summary

Marginally better written than the girls in Lookism. At least Gaeul and Gyeoul can fight. Fucking LOVE Gyeoul.

Their body shape overall gives me the ick when combined with the way PTJ + co writes women.

Lastly, no words needed for the panel below. PTJ really wanting that harem for himself huh.

(The fifth heroine was meant to be the nurse.)

LOOKISM

-mary kim; she has a muscular figure with a lil tummy ! naturally started losing weight and building muscle while doing judo as a sport and exercising in general. she's still a little sensitive about her weight due to bullying when she was younger and at a larger size, but shes happy where she is now. she'll beat ur ass if u shit talk her weight but if u do it behind her back, vin jin will step in if he catches u ^_^

-jay; hes selectively mute, it formed mainly from his social anxiety but also because he's naturally an introvert and was neglected during his developing childhood stages, so that snowballed into selective mutism ! (saying this just bc i like having reasons for everything rather than just make him not being able to talk a Unique Character Trait Thing) i also have a whole ass backstory idea for him but i'll only share if someone's interested 😭 tbh tho i might get too attached to it and ignore canon if his real backstory ever comes out LMAOOO

-leonn; i ABSOLUTELY fucking refuse to have the only woman in the architecture department be there just bc she has a crush on some fucking guy (not an insult to vasco, simply an angry comment directed towards gross heteronormativity and the shitty use of female characters). anyways she mistook her deep admiration for vasco as romantic feelings

-warren; has a blackhole stomach. everyone in hostel is wary about wasted food bc theyre,, not very well off to say the least so anything they dont like/cant finish they give to warren and he happily chows down ^_^ also yeah hes not very picky about what he eats !!

-vin jin; the easiest way to tell he's embarrassed is when his ears go red. (jace, too... for obvious reasons) its hard to catch him blush under his shades sometimes! this may or may not also be the reason he grew out his hair ^_^

HOW TO FIGHT

-snapper has become such a talented cameraman he is now great at secretly recording things to blackmail his friends LMAAOAO (obviously nothing serious tho, snapper's not evil 😭)

-rumi has a habit of petting people's heads affectionately 💖

-jisoo's ass is rotting in jail! ^_^

-taehun is a child magnet. you'd think he'd scare off kids but nope they all wanna play with him. and he acts like he hates this fact yet he always plays with the kids or at least entertains them a little (when hes not busy). altho he does hate this fact; babies are always staring at him (yknow that one science study or whatever that said babies stare at pretty people? yeah.)

Well, anon. I had to pick up HTF again to answer this.. and I still have nothing to say lol (I mean not that you're asking me to say anything lmao)

I don't think Hobin thinks he and Bomi are just friends though? I mean I was reading quite fast so maybe I missed him implying he thinks they're only friends? They've also agreed on "putting a distance" between them since Bomi needs to focus in school but pretty sure they've got to be aware they're exclusive to each other to agree about such an arrangement. And with all the permission asking for the subchannel and the female cockroaches guarantee-ing, Hobin and Bomi know they're a couple.

I'd understand if Hobin thinks they're just friends though (but I don't think he thinks that way). Some of us grew up ugly, anon. Unless you shoot your affection point blank to us and spell it out nuance by nuance, we won't be able to read between the lines. That's just not something that happens to us. I mean him. I mean. Anyway. Totally not about me. Moving on.

I also don't think Gaeul's hoping for any chance with Hobin. Like at the moment. Kind of? I mean she likes Hobin so if Hobin pays attention to her it'll be exciting for her. If Hobin's gushing about Bomi, she'll get jealous sure. That's just the nature of people's heart. (Based on nothing lmao)

I think there'll be more Jihyeok appearance next update. Who knows maybe a plot twist. Maybe Jihyeok would be so hurt of the Gaeul/Hobin couple subchannel that he'll sell them out to Jinho.

I always appreciate the og team appearance so I won't complain about Rumi. But yeah, totally miss Jihyeok. I can't talk shit about him if he's not being an idiot. Bring Jihyeok back.

I'm afraid there won't be any necromancy in this story though, anon. Hate to break this to you but don't hold your breath for Seongjoon's reappearance.
