That poor RedCanary person: huh, this Magnus Institute looks like a great place for spelunking! I’ll go check it out!
the rest of us: welp, you’re dead as hell, goodbye.

The first audiodrama I ever listened to was The Magnus Archives. It's what got me interested in the whole medium. If The Magnus Archives didn't exist, I probably never would have made my show.
When Rusty Quill contacted me to join their network I was at work and I dropped everything I was doing and, very discreetly, cried a little bit. Not a lot... but enough.
Fast forward a bit later and they ask the network members if they would be interested in writing for The Magnus Protocol.
I was excited but also completely and utterly terrified. I am well aware that my brand of horror is not for everybody. People will hate it! My anxiety almost made me turn it down. But I couldn't say no.
Working on The Magnus Protocol was a dream come true. I am now officially part of the universe that got me into the industry in the first place. Thank you so much Alexander Newell, Jonathan Sims and the rest of the team at Rusty Quill for the incredible opportunity.

I may have screamed when i heard Jonathan Sims' voice as John Seward in the Re:Dracula trailer 😭😭
To all those wondering, Dracula Daily is back and this time there is a podcast show Re: Dracula which is the audio reading of the book released in chronological order, and it has the VA of the Archivist from The Magnus Archives as Dr Seward!!

Hi my name is Vyla and my toxic trait is going under the tags of podcasts I'm currently listening to without filtering spoilers when I am SEVERELY behind on episodes

Realized with the new trailer out, I could do my first audio for The Magnus Protocol, which is a sample of the new potential theme. I cannot even express how excited I am for fully orchestrated Magnus by Sam. And of course, I had to add the logo. It's too good not to.

Don’t ask me how I know this but:
Sasha is a claw clip girl. She has that shit clipped to her bag at all times. She knows all the hacks. She can do 40 different styles in under thirty seconds with no mirror. Tim asks her to help carry something and she has the most beautiful, effortless, and effective up-do immediately. She has a clip in every color and matches them to her outfits.
Not!Sasha only uses those mangled black elastic hair ties that rip your hair out.

A list of excellent fiction podcasts that have no network (to my knowledge) and could use your support, all made by queer creators and featuring queer characters:
Care & Feeding of Werewolves (@careandfeedingofwerewolves) - the medical notes and adventures of a doctor for the paranormal community
Small Victories (@wgc-productions) - a slice of life dramedy about addition, recovery, and relationships
The Department of Variance of Somewhere, Ohio (@somewhereohio) - surreal/weird fiction following agents trapped in the building of their shady government bureau
Hello from the Hallowoods (@hellofromthehallowoods) - vignettes of a huge cast of characters interweave in a long-form narrative of queer survivors
Dragon Shanty (@dragonshantypod) - in the form of bedtime stories, two lighthouse keepers tell their history of magic and dragons
The Aberrant Report (@theaberrantreport) - a tape recorder-style murder investigation that delves into the supernatural
InCo (@itmeblog) - sci-fi micro-fiction following an information courier in the far future
Starfall (@starfallpod) - the fantasy adventures of a theater troupe that uses magic to create their performances
Neighbourly (@neighbourlypod) - weird/surreal fiction anthology about the secrets behind closed doors on a very strange street
The Night Post (that's us!) - a mystery/horror about queer survival and the realities of living with the natural and supernatural

Listen up pod pals, what we’re NOT going to do right now is stop engaging with RQ Network shows.
If you read The Article and that’s the conclusion you came to, I beg you to reread.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, these shows ARE NOT PRODUCED BY RQ. Cutting your support to them because you want to disengage from RQ is not the answer. You would be hurting the people you want to help.
This includes in house RQ creators. Do NOT harass them. We’re. Not. Doing. It.
