Actors: “Slaves”, It Will Come To You (2018)

As we learned from Cold Waves, you can’t have one without the other. Throw in Kendall Wooding and Adam Fink to the Jason Corbett and Shannon Hemmett fire and it’s basically Leathers with additional personnel. I don’t have much feel for either, but obviously that doesn’t mean they’re bad bands by any means. So for our listeners of Omega WUSB, we’re playing both. Of all the songs from It Will Come To You, we’re choosing Slaves for future airplay. It’s the least we can do.

Vancouver based post punk band Actors have released a video for their song Face Meets Glass, which is taken from their upcoming album, It Will Come To You, which was released on 9th March, via Artoffact Records. The video was written, produced, directed and cinematographed by Kira Clavell.

I bet you Shannon Hemmett and Jason Corbett are having a hell of a payday having two projects on Artoffact and being double-billed at Cold Waves. Their label is playing their cards right for one of their best acts on their roster and it’s paying off with exciting fanfare. While I’m not too crazy for Leathers, Omega WUSB is going with “Missing Scene” for next year’s darkness deluxe.
