petal wildegarde grew up in an elven village and retained her connection to nature. she is a specialist in astral magic with an elemental affinity. petal is charming, charismatic, affable, flirtatious, and quick-witted. her charms have certainly caught chase’s attention, but she’s pretty sure their situationship is killing her slowly. 

briar ivanolet (iv-an-uh-lett) was raised in a Ket village. she’s calm, clever, strategic, friendly, cautious, brave, and balanced. libra. briar specializes in psionic magic with an enchanter affinity. lately, blade occupies an embarrassing amount of her brainpower. 

covet emroth has the tough exterior to match their hunter’s upbringing. covet is short-tempered, confrontational, protective, impatient, and always five steps ahead everyone else. they’re particularly adept at astral magic and have a battle magic affinity. they tried and failed to keep most of the other shepherds at arm’s length, but briony in particular has gotten under covet’s skin. they’re rather uncomfortable with her ability to see the best in them.

storm calderon is a total sweetheart. hailing from a human village, storm is kindhearted, straightforward, emotionally intelligent, passionate, and open-minded. she’s skilled at astral magic and has a healing affinity. trouble has become thoroughly enamored by her dimples and thoughtfulness.

I couldn't get the idea of this music idol AU out of my head, so I went ahead and commissioned the fabulous yinyang.arts to create an idea of what the girls would look like as a pop idol group! (This is also how I discovered that I inadvertently created the female characters of ShoH in a way that exactly aligned with the Spice Girls... Scary Spice, Posh Spice, Baby Spice, Sporty Spice...)

You could read them as a K-pop girl group or as a rock band, whichever you prefer...
