a few weeks ago i finally treated myself to eco lifestyle cause I found a good deal and omg... It's so much fun... And it ties in perfectly (at least for my style of gameplay) with cottage living

I absolutely adore having a completely self sustaining farm, and my sims cooking and crafting literally anything they may need, I love it

Also as someone who plays most of their saves in san Myshuno bc of the apartments, having more apartments to live in is so refreshing

The Sims 4: Medievalfied Objects

Retextured items from Base Game (wall bookcase), Eco Lifestyle (bird house, and roof windmill), Get Together (trash can), and Laundry Day (clothesline, and washtub).

Delete the objects from the EPs you don't have.

The washtub, and clothesline have 2 versions. Choose ONE version as they conflict. V1's clothes uses a burlap texture, V2 uses linen (linen is previewed).

When sims put clothes on, or take clothes off the clothesline, they temporarily change to the original colors.

Hood Deco and Build Set: for Farms

With the EP coming this week, it is time to BUILD. I will focus on building and hood deco the coming weeks, and I start today with sets for building farms.

Converted and separated from Settlers 6 & 5 - these farms are for cattle, grain, sheep and beekeepers, and also generic famhouses from Settlers 5

Place them in empty spots in you hood using T.O.O.L by TwistedMexi.

You can use my Blowtorch mod to have a sims world emptied of modern stuff - read more here.

Settlers 6 Hood Deco Houses - The Farms

Four different farms, Cattle, Grain, Sheep and BeeKeepers Shed. Each has 3 sizes, and in the merges packages I also included some separated deco objects.

All merged into one file as they share the same textures.

Settlers 6 Farms Build set

Made with textures from Settlers 5 and 6, this is a build set to help with building farms and huts in Sims 4.

Suitable for many historical eras.

Five walls, one floor, five rooves, two doors, one foundation, a set with roof and wall trims, stairs, a functioning ladder, and roof deco objects included in the zip.

Settlers 5 Farm Houses and Windmills Hood Deco Houses

Six buildings and separated buildings from Settlers 5, to use as Hood Deco. Low poly.

What's this: Frankenweenie content in 2022!?

Yes. Since EA have made The Sims 4 free, I decided to download it and see what I can do with it. I recently made the main cast of Frankenweenie... but with a modern twist. I honestly prefer coming up with modern outfits. It was really an experiment to see if I could emulate the movie’s style.

This was inspired by jacksonow over at DeviantArt, who drew the characters in 60s attire. Feel free to check their stuff out.

I tried to base their clothes on how they dress and what they do in the movie:

Victor: Lightning etched into his clothes.

Elsa: Punk wardrobe, strong jacksonow influences. Hard to see but she has New Holland’s windmill on her top.

Edgar: More stripes, more jacksonow influences.

Weird Girl: Sweater girl, especially in August. Also obsessed with cats.

Rosalinde: My OC so that I could fill a 2x4/4x2 grid. Fascinated by Italian art and literature.

Toshiaki: Is a massive geek. Favourite Pokemon is Squirtle.

Nassor: Turtlenecks. Also some Egyptian influence.

Bob: Would most likely wear Hawaaian print. And sea monkeys.

I would’ve given them different heights but I couldn’t get the custom slider for that to work 😩

I might release the Sims and the personalised clothing at a later date, but for now I hope you enjoy these pics.

WIP of the farm i’m making on a 50x40 lot--the worst of it is over, and now that I’m done with the exterior and landscaping, all I have left to do is furnish.

Just on the exterior alone:

Back Left: Greenhouse for crops. Inside are 6 soil plots, 2 bee boxes, a flower arranging table, and patchy the scarecrow.

Behind the left side of the house: A balcony on the second floor with a telescope.

Back Center: A custom animal shed I used following Sati Sim’s tutorial on YT. It will fit 1 cow and 1 llama each. I also put a chicken coop next to it.

Behind the right side of the house: A wash tub and clothesline for off-the-grid laundry, and a swing set.

Back Right: A mostly-decorative windmill, but the wind turbine on top of the roof is functional. Connected to a shed which has the candle maker, dew collector, recycler, generator, woodworking table, and a ladder which leads to a fizzing station cellar.

Front Right: The pond area with a fishing sign, two lounge chairs and an umbrella table, a fountain, and a wedding arch.

Front Left: A gazebo with a fire pit inside and a picnic table in front. Behind it is a wishing well surrounded by 4 gardening pots meant for flowers, and both the wild rabbit home and the wild bird homes.

Center: The actual house.

#some of the random square objects placed on the lot are fireflies--looks like shit in build mode #but the squares disappear and the fireflies come out at night in live mode

4 Olde Mill Lane - Cottage Living, No CC 🐔

Hey everyone! Here is my first build using the new pack! I liked that the lots have proper street names, so decided to build what I imagined to be a renovated windmill! I had a multi-generational family in mind, so there are two bedrooms upstairs and a bedroom downstairs for the grandparents. Henford-on-Bagley looks amazing in autumn, the trees are so bright and colourful 💖
