geo vs sol

How would that go down? Especially since sol is best friends with hyugo. Geo dislikes hyugo while hyugo cares about geo (at least from what we know). Sol is strong physically but geo has body guards and was stated to be good with weapons especially archery.

The outcome may change depending on MC, who their preference is (geo ofc ❤️)- and which route mc takes. but if MC was unsure or didn't care then what lengths would they go to?

Geos advantages

same friend group; close with crowe (how close is unsure but the fact that they are friends says alot). Crowe is close w/ us and has our trust, crowe could get MC to like geo. idk how this could be used as I doubt geo would ask crowe to do this, but what if crowe notices and does it out of kindness for Geo? Not just crowe, but deryl talks good about geo too.

rich; has connections (to the citys founder) & body guards (who are armed with katanas)

Good with weapons, relatively strong. Extremely close with deryl (who's the strongest physically in the whole cast). I dont doubt that deryl would be willing to throw hands for geo if worst comes to worst.

Probably more mentally stable than sol

Could probably expose sol for stalking us or something

Being with him literally guarantees a stable life, hes rich and mc and him would not only be happy together but financialy stable!! A fairy tail 😇

Geos disadvantages

Clearly emotionally constipated, would probably SUCK at being affectionate.

Intimidating, he death glares us and tells us to leave when we ask a question.

Doesn't take action. hes the type to wait for a confession. depending on the type of person mc is, would cause problems.

He seems hostile, not only to strangers but to his friends (clearly in a more affectionate way).this would scare away a timid mc, or even IF mc was outgoing, i feel like geos hostile attitude would just drive mc away sooner or later.

Sols advantages

Hyugo, from our interactions with hyugo he is clearly sols wingman and is trying to get us together

Takes action, unlike geo he asked us for our number (depending on the route). And he is clearly more likely to take romantic advances

Affectionate, hes cheeky / kind with us from the get go, and even after knowing him for only 2 days mc trusts him alot due to how kind he is. Things would progress much more faster.

Protected us in day 2 (depends which route), mc owes him alot, not only that but mc got to see how much sol cares for them, "this man was crying for you". Unlike geo sol would cry and is more willing to be emotional

Strong physically, his skill with weapons are unknown, but if it were just a pure fist fight then sol would win

Probably better at communicating feelings

Sols disadvantages

Mentally unstable and a stalker, being more realistic, this would scare off mc and have a restraining order

Lacks emotion for those other than mc (and hyugo?). If mc had close friends he would be seething of jealousy, and apathetic towards them and again would push mc away because of his possessiveness.

While both sol and geo are jealous, geo doesn't get jealous often, its just that when he does he gets REALLY jealous, and adding the fact that geo isnt as crazy and sol, he would be more reasonable in his jealousy, like he wouldn't get pissy because we are hanging out with our friends like sol does in day 2 ending. Geo likely understands we each need alone time and time with friends and family.

(im not sure about family, as in one of fantasias asks its stated somthing along the lines of "he was to claim a spot in your family)

has crazy rumors surrounding him, its not clear ingame what these details contain, but knowing sol they are probably somewhat true

I'll be honest, for this fight to even happen we need these two in the same place at the same time.

Which will be difficult...unless we utilise our magnificent MC powers to get them to do whatever we want.

Taking all your points into account (which are excellent, good job btw), I genuinely think Geo will win.

Is it because I am devoted to him? (Yes /hj). Perhaps, but let me explain.

Geo has 4 friends (5 if we include you), one of whom being stronger than Sol (Deryl), and I see Deryl as a cute little retriever that'll go rabid if someone attacks who it loves/cares about.

Deryl won't let Sol get remotely near Geo.

Same with Brittney, if she got involved, she'd use the #gossipgyaru perks she has to try and fuck up Sol's rep even more.

Would be the one to give you a talk on why Sol's dangerous.

Geo also has bodyguards, along with a fuckton of money.

He could easily hire a hitman or bribe the police to ensure he has no legal trouble.

Also probably knows Hyugo well enough, so he'd probably be prepared for things his big brother is capable of.

Will use his popularity to get people to ensure Sol is far away from him (and you).

May not be as handy in a fistfight, but has prime access and ability to wield a wide range of weapons against Sol. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ However, these are the most...social and physical sides of a fight. To win you over, I feel like Geo would simply get you to warm up to his friends, then him.

After all, you'd be significantly more comfortable and relaxed around him that way, right?

Despite being fucked when it comes to emotion/affection, Geo is perfect at other things.

Like keeping you safe from the man who watches you sleep.

It honestly horrified you when you found out.

And you never spoke to Sol again, hell you even got a restraining order against him.

Will make his group and himself look angelic to try and get you to warm up faster.

Despite his cold geode-like exterior, will try to warm up to you (Deryl is astounded, to say the least).

Will probably tell you Sol's from a fucked home and needs psychiatric help.

You might also just start believing it.

au where juvia is in love with lucy instead of gray (working title)

warning for juvia being an unreliable narrator

Juvia listens as Master Ivan drones on and on. The Master always got so worked up when it came to Fairy Tail and while most of her guildmates could avoid listening to his annoying rants it seemed like no one could escape them these days. A lot of his rants focused on the Master of Fairy Tail but now some of them focused on a girl. Lucy Heartfilia, runaway daughter of railway tycoon Jude Heartfilia. Juvia hardly has any interest in the world of business but the heiress of one of the richest men in the world running away to join a mage's guild is the type of gossip that hooks anyone. It sounds like a plot to a romance novel. The rich heiress running away to be with her mage lover. Juvia wonders if that's what Lucy did. Why else would a girl give up a life of luxury if not for love?

"Have I made myself clear?!" Ivan shouts. Juvia nods, then looks around to the rest of the Element Four (and Black Steel Gajeel, of course). Gajeel looks bored out of his mind, which is typical for when he's not fighting or scheming. Sol and Totomaru look as out of it as Juvia feels. They all must've heard this lecture a million times by now. Even Aria, the most diligent member of their group, looks tired of the same message. "Alright, and remember you must not mess this up! If you do..." Master Ivan's threat lingers in the air before he takes his leave. He always says goodbye with an "or else".

A few moments after the Master exits. Sol approaches her. "Hello Miss Juvia. Shall we take our leave?"

Juvia nods. She wasn't really listening to what the Master said but she assumes she's been assigned a mission with Sol. Sol peers at her for a moment before smirking. "Do you even know what we are supposed to be doing, Miss Juvia?"

"Ever perceptive Sol. No, I don't," she admits.

Sol chuckles. "Don't worry, Miss Juvia. Sol will regale to you the Master's mission for us, without all the cursing of Fairy Tail."

"I appreciate it," she replies. This is friendly, she thinks. She's not close to any of her guildmates, besides Gajeel, maybe, but being on a team makes you closer to someone. So this is friendly, Juvia decides.

As the two Phantom Lord members comb the streets of Magnolia for the Heartfilia heiress, Juvia wonders about the girl. Juvia has never met a rich girl before but in all the romance books the rich girl is usually the love rival of the main character. Someone spoiled, mean, and overall terrible for the love interest. Juvia wonders if the girl is like that.

"Miss Juvia, just ahead is Miss Heartfilia. I'm not sure how close any of her guildmates are so make sure to take her as quickly as possible," Sol says. Juvia nods and watches Sol sink into the floor.

Juvia is gloom incarnate. "Drip, drip, drop," she chants, as she nears the girl. Wherever she goes the rain follows. When she lays her eyes on the girl her first thought is, "She belongs in the sun." Her second thought is, "She's pretty," and her third is, "Oh no, she's pretty."

Juvia pauses. She's unsure how to proceed. The girl looks confused, she's probably wondering where the rain came from. Her hand is on the pouch sitting on her waist. "Hello?" she asks, "Have we met?"

When she speaks Juvia feels a rush of emotion. Just looking at this girl sickens her to the core. This girl probably has boy after boy falling at her feet. She probably hates the rain, and never has to worry about spending the night alone. Sol pops out of the ground. "Miss Juvia, you are aware this is Miss Heartfilia, correct?" he asks.

The girl's eyes widened. "You're from Phantom Lord!" she shouts, judging from the way her hand hasn't left the pouch on her waist she already knew that. She reaches into the pouch and Juvia clenches her teeth. She lifts her hand up and casts a spell. "Water lock!"

The girl is encased in a sphere of water and drops a ring of keys onto the floor. Sol chuckles, "You know you're a high price target. I suppose it makes sense that any father would pay a fortune to see their child again." Juvia knows Sol is just saying it to rile her up and it works. The girl glares at him and then her. Juvia wonders if she also made that face at her father. She wants to ask why she ran away, if it really was for a boy. She wants to know how many boys she has in her life, and she wants to know how the sun feels on her skin, but she doesn't ask anything. When the girl passes out from oxygen deprivation she releases the spell and watches as Sol catches her body. "That was easy," he says. Juvia looks away from him and the girl.

The next time Juvia thinks about that girl she's facing down her guildmate. Gray is handsome, he's exactly her type, in fact. Cold, beautiful, and someone who doesn't mind getting wet. She doesn't want to fight him, even if she did there's no point. None of these Fairy Tail wizards will beat the Master or Gajeel. She tries to exit the fight, but then he's taking off his shirt, and she can barely look at him. She thinks it must be fate. What are the odds she meets an ice wizard this forward?

But then he brings up that girl, Lucy. He says he'll protect her with his life. Is this the guy she ran away for? Is this her lover? Just the thought of the two together makes Juvia's blood pressure rise. This is every romance novel she's ever read. That girl is exactly who she thought she was and Juvia has decided she hates her.

Juvia fights Gray and she loses but just as she thinks her life is over and she's going to fall and splatter on the pavement like a raindrop, he saves her. Her charming prince saves her. Nobody's ever reached out to Juvia before and this single act fills her heart with so much joy that the clouds part, and for the first time in her life she looks at the clear sky. The sun is warm on her skin and she looks at the one who saved her. He says something about the sky but Juvia can't hear him over the ringing in her ears. Juvia smiles, this must be what love is. She's never been more overwhelmed, her last thought before passing out is, "I wonder how that girl looks in the sun."

Juvia wakes up alone with the sun in her face. For the first time, Juvia's not upset that she's alone, not when she has the sun. Juvia has a new direction in life and it's facing Gray... and that girl. Or at least that's how it feels to Juvia. Gray is a clearly popular person, always surrounded by his guildmates but it seems like he seeks that girl out in particular. It's like he can't stay away from her. It drives her mad how often the two will just sit and talk like they're on a... date! or something. So now Juvia knows a whole bunch of things she doesn't care about, like that girl's favorite milkshake, her aspirations as a writer, and how the sun shines on her golden hair.

It's even worse when another one of the guys that girl has wrapped around her finger brings her tickets to a water park. That girl is going to be taking Gray to a water park, where she'll be wearing a swimsuit. Her in a swimsuit, just walking around, maybe she'll even wear a bikini. Gray won't be able to resist her, not that it's Gray's fault. She is clearly purposefully tempting him. Juvia can just cry thinking about it, who would be able to resist her?

So Juvia follows them to the water park and it's just as awful as she expected. It's like that girl didn't even want to give Gray a chance. It's not fair that some people are just gorgeous. Everything gets a little better when the hotel is attacked and Juvia has a chance to save Gray. As she has Gray safe in her body all she can think about is how jealous that girl is going to be. Juvia watches her fret over Gray for a second before revealing her scheme. "Are you jealous?" Juvia asks.

"Not really, no," she responds. Juvia frowns as Gray pulls himself from under her. That... is not at all what she expected, and she's really disappointed. Maybe the reason she's not jealous is because she knows how Gray feels for her. She's so arrogant she doesn't even view Juvia as a threat! Yeah, that's definitely what it is, Juvia tells herself.

It's probably petty what she does next but Juvia can't help it. It's nice to mess with that girl because every moment she's annoyed with Juvia is one less moment she's interacting with Gray. Although it definitely doesn't help that she changes clothes right in front of Gray. Juvia thought she was raised as an heiress but she has no decorum it seems.

She needs to remember she didn't just come here to stalk Gray, she came to prove that she can be useful to Fairy Tail as well. It's like whenever she's around that girl she's all Juvia can think about it. Just another annoying thing about her, Juvia supposes.

It's just her luck that she ends up alone with her. To make matters even worse an enemy appears. That girl, Lucy, shouts over the music that Juvia should handle it, which she agrees to. "Water lock," she casts.

"Wow, so cool! That's to be expected of a member of the Element Four!" Lucy compliments. Juvia doesn't respond but she preens inside. It's nice to be acknowledged, even by your rivals. The man, Vidaldus, absorbs her water lock.

Juvia steps back in shock. "Wha- how did you break through Juvia's spell?" Vidaldus explains how his hair can absorb all water. How is it possible for Juvia to face the only opponent who can counter her?

He says something about succubi and then points at Juvia. This can't be happening. Juvia wishes she had been unconscious at least because the pain was unbearable. Juvia could only watch helplessly as her body said and did things she never would. Even though Juvia saw Lucy as a rival she never wanted to beat her like this. It was wrong, it wasn't befitting of a Fairy Tail mage. "Lucy, Lucy," she calls, even though she wasn't sure anyone could hear her. "Juvia is so sorry. Juvia never wants to hurt her friends, although it might be presumptuous to call you my friend. Juvia has really grown to love Fairy Tail! Even when it's raining outside the guild is always so warm and sunny inside. Juvia wanted to join Fairy Tail but now... Juvia thought she could get along with everyone but she always brings sadness." If Juvia was in control of her body she would cry.

Lucy crashes into the floor. "Juvia!" Lucy shouts, "Fairy Tail will always accept someone who sheds tears for their friend! And thanks to you I have an idea!"

When Juvia's body goes to attack Lucy once more she plunges a gate key into her body. "Open Gate of the Water Bearer, Aquarius!"

In a flash of golden light Aquarius appears and floods the room. Juvia gasps, as she gains control over her body once more. "Juvia!" She hears Lucy call.

"Over here!"

"Juvia!" she shouts, and reaches out her hand.

"Lucy!" Juvia shouts back, reaching for her hand as well. Lucy grabs her hand and Juvia feels alive. She feels like the sun is rushing through her veins. Lucy's magic mixes with hers in the most intimate way possible. The two girls shout as they pull off a Unison Raid.

When the two touch the ground again they both embrace each other. "We did it!" They cry. As Juvia hugs Lucy she can't help but notice, "You're warm. I think this is the first time a girl has never hated me." Even after all I did to you, she wants to say, but can't bring herself too. She doesn't want Lucy to wake up and realize who she's celebrating with.

"Don't go celebrating just yet!"

The two girls squeal and look back to see the water spirit Lucy summoned.

"Never summon me in a freaky place like that again! You hear me?!" the spirit shouts.

"Of course, Aquarius," Lucy squeaks.

The spirit, Aquarius, scoffs. "I'm going on a vacation with my boyfriend for two weeks. Don't call on me. You should get one too y'know. Although for you it's easier said than done," she says before disappearing.

"Wow. It's not like I'm looking for one anyway," Lucy says.

Juvia tries to not let the shock show on her face. With how many boys that are tripping over themselves to date Lucy, Juvia's surprised her spirit would make a comment like that. "Love's important," she manages to say.

Lucy sits down and lies back in the water. The room's no longer flooded but it's still high enough she can semi-float on the water. "Since we took down that creep this Jellal guy isn't gonna have it so easy."

Juvia's surprised Lucy said 'we'. Juvia had assumed Lucy is the type to take all the credit, not that she would be wrong to do so right now. Juvia didn't do anything except get possessed. "It's your victory."

Lucy looks over at her with a smile. "Nah, it was the both of us. I couldn't have done it without you." Juvia blushes at the, in her opinion, undeserved praise. "Also you called me Lucy back there. It made me really happy that we could be friends."

Juvia freezes. Friends...

...friends...

The word is dancing circles around her brain. No one has ever referred to her as a friend before. No one has ever wanted to be. Her first friend. Lucy is her first friend. She's someone's friend. Juvia tears up and then starts to bawl. "My eyes... they're raining!"

Lucy laughs, and it sounds like wind chimes. A sound that get carried by the wind and makes everyone smile when they hear it. "That's a cute way to put it."

Cute... Juvia is cute.

"Come lay back. We should take it easy for now. We just won!"

Juvia lays in the water with Lucy. She looks over at Lucy, who has her eyes closed, and watches her face. Looking at her so closely make Juvia realize why she infuriated her before. Lucy is everything she isn't. Lucy is like spring. She's a sunny day, a meadow full of flowers, she's...

Oh.

Juvia's eyes widened, she has spent a concerning amount of time watching Lucy but this thought has never occured to her before. Lucy being so popular and well liked bothered her. Lucy being liked by Gray even more so. She had thought it was because she liked Gray and Lucy was a rival for Gray's affections but all this time Lucy had never shown that type of interest in him. So why did Lucy make her so upset?

A blush crawls up Juvia's face, the answer seems so obvious now. Juvia isn't in love with Gray. She's in love with Lucy.

this is a final fantasy ateez au bcuz i keep thinking of it hehe

warnings: angst, general violence, major character death, semi happy ending dw, major final fantasy 7 original game spoilers don’t read if you’ve somehow managed to avoid them and want to keep it that way.

The first time you met was in the Gold Saucer. For once, you weren't alone. The group had finally decided to settle down for a little bit and splurge, a little fun and rest was much needed. While you wanted to go to Costa del Sol, mentioning off-handedly that you had never been there before when Wooyoung brought the location up, the rest of the group decided the Saucer would be a better (and slightly cheaper) rest stop this time, wanting to indulge in the games and rides. Grumpily, you trailed after San and Yeosang heading towards the Wonder Square. Yeosang was eagerly talking to San, casually fishing for information about an apparent argument the blonde had with Wooyoung before arriving here. Since you had only recently joined the group, you found yourself half-listening, not wanting to hear anything you weren't supposed to. Instead, you focused on everything else around you, which wasn't a difficult thing to do. The bright flashing lights, colorful screens, and loud music easily distract you from anything and everything, leading you to bump into something very large and plush.

“Oof!” The sound expelled from you as you bounced off of the thing and onto your ass. Your awkward noise drew the attention of San and Yeosang, who finally noticed how far you trailed from them.

San was quick by your side helping you up. “You good?” He asked nervously glancing between you and the large thing you bumped into. Slowly, the large thing turned towards you, revealing that it was a comically large fluffy yellow chick. Face to face with San, the blonde let out a cute coo noise which you quickly stored in your mind for later.

“Sorry about that!” A high-pitched voice from on top of the chick suddenly spoke. 3 sets of eyes quickly traveled upward to locate the voice. Sitting atop the giant chick was a fluffy golden dog wearing a pirate costume.

Quietly, Yeosang gasped behind you and San. “A Maltese! So cute!”

The dog tilted its head to the side. “Maltese? I am a golden retriever!” It pauses for a moment before striking a dramatic pose. “My name is Tyudeongi! I'm a fairy, puppy, fortune-telling machine! And this is Bbyongming!” It pats the giant chick he sits on top of while its fluffy tail wags eagerly. “Would you like your fortune told? Ah, but don't hold it against me if it doesn't come true!”

Yeosang eagerly grasps onto San's arm. “San-ah! Let's get our fortunes told, please?” The brunette beams at the blonde causing his cool composure to quickly crumble. (You completely understand why).

The three of you stare up at the puppy as he begins to dance and spin atop the fluffy chick. Suddenly, Bbyongming squawks and dispenses 3 slips of paper from its beak, Tyudeongi quickly snatching them up. He glances over them before leaning over. “For you, you, and… you!” He exclaims while handing the papers out. You try not to think of how the robot's eyes lingered on you for a moment.

San blinks at you and Yeosang. “Um. You wanna go first?”

“Do not be afraid of competition.” Yeosang reads. “Huh. What do you think that means?” You and San share a knowing look (Wooyoung) before you offer a shrug. Yeosang seems stated by that and motions for San to read.

San's face scrunches as he silently reads over his fortune. He glances nervously between the two of you before reading. “What you pursue will be yours, but you will lose what you hold most dear.” He lowers the fortune without saying anything more, the 3 of you sharing worried looks. “Um, how about yours, (yn).”

“Yeah, ok.” You answer quickly, hoping to pick the mood back up again. You look down at your fortune before reading aloud, “The love of your life will appear in front of you unexpectedly!” … “Huh?” San and Yeosangs eyes remain locked on you, and you can feel your ears turning red.

Yeosang claps, “Oh that's a fun one!” San nods in agreement.

You scoff. “Yeah… Doubt that's true though. There's no one like that for me. Just as strange as yours, haha.” You awkwardly try to pivot from the topic, hastily shoving the slip of paper into your pocket.

Tyudeongi yips from his perch. “Aw don't be so down, you never know what the future might hold!”

Lazily, you lounge on your back in a grassy field, observing the blue cloud-filled sky while some of the others slowly set up camp. You hoped Hongjoong remembered not to let Mingi set the fire this time, as the flame-oriented magician accidentally got a little overzealous with it last time and singed half of the tents. Lost in fiery Mingi thoughts, you don't hear the approach of little paws next to you.

“Do you see any shapes?” Tyudeongi had been traveling with the group for over a month now, insisting on coming along after your meeting at the Gold Saucer. Originally San was completely against it, Yeosang having to convince him. Eventually, he came around when Tyudeongi revealed his (and Bbyongming's) magical prowess. He wasn't joking about the “fairy” part of his introduction.

“Maybe that one looks like a chocobo.” You offer, you're not really paying attention to the clouds. Behind you, you hear Wooyoung let out a shriek and you feel the warmth of fire. So they did forget.

Tyudeongi hums. “That one there,” he motions with a fluffy paw, “it's like a Moogle!”

“A Moogle, hm… Do you think they're real?”

The puppy tilts its head to the side, “Well I'm real so they must be!”

“But you're a robot…” You trail off not wanting to insult him (was that possible?) “I want to see one, one day.” You hear more chaos behind you but tune it out, imagining a future full of fluffy Moogles.

“You will!” Tyudeongi's tail wags wildly. “I can see the future, remember!”

You laugh. “Ok.”

The silence in Cosmo Canyon could not be louder. The 7 of you awkwardly set up camp for the night, no one wanting to talk after Mingi's emotional past had been revealed. Once again you found yourself away from the group, sitting towards the edge of camp wanting to remain in solitude. But when does that ever happen?

“What are you thinking about?” Tyudeongi, or rather, the person controlling the puppy, has him ask. It was something you had caught onto recently. The puppy had been around for a while at this point and he often liked to spend time with you, it led you to notice his quirks maybe faster than the others. Tyudeongi had a handful of automated responses and phrases programmed which he often cycled through with the other group members, but with you, you noticed he often had more to say. It was as if his autopilot had been turned off. You didn't tell anyone.

You sigh. “Just Mingi. I hope he's doing ok.” The anguished look on his face as he left the cave floated around in your memory.

“He's a strong person. This may hurt him for a while, but he will recover and grow from this.” The puppy makes his way over and settles into your lap. You mindlessly stroke his fur. “The most you can do right now is make sure he knows you're there for him.”

Another sigh leaves you. “I know. I just… I don't know if I'm very empathetic. It's like I care but, I don't know. I feel like it's not enough, like part of me is missing something more. Like there's something wrong with me.”

The puppy looks up at you. “(yn), you are an extremely empathetic person, they all know that.” You know it's the person on the other end controlling what he says by how serious Tyudeongi's tone has become. “There's nothing wrong with you and it's ok that you feel that way. They're lucky to have a friend like you.” It feels strange to hear all of this coming from a dog.

It's silent for a while. “Thank you.” You manage to get out. The puppy shifts around in your lap.

“How about a fortune to cheer you up! You brighten up everyone's day!”

You let out a chuckle. “That's not a fortune, Tyudeongi.”

You weren't sure dogs could pout, but he certainly was. “Ok, how about… someone out there cares about you very much!”

Alone again, this time crying. Everything was so stressful, between the reveal that Tyudeongi was a Shinra spy sent to watch your group and then Tyudeongi straight up dying only to come back to life as another robot barely an hour later… Your emotions were shot. You hated that puppy now. But did you? He was, no, is your friend. Even if what he did was unforgivable. The mental image of his little body being crushed under all of that rubble wouldn't be leaving your mind any time soon.

“You're crying?” The new Tyudeongi bot spoke behind you.

You sniffle. “Go away. I don't want to be near you.” You won't even look at the dog.

“(yn)...” The controller is back. “I know what I did was wrong and that I don't deserve yours or any of the other forgiveness, but-”

“No, you don't deserve any of that and I don't want to talk to you either! I trusted you, but you were using us.” You quickly get up and storm away towards Mingi and Jongho, not sparing the robot a single glance back.

Lately, it seems the tears never really stop. And now, you truly think they never will. Yeosang was gone, and there was nothing that could be done. Maybe if you had been faster, if you had gotten to San sooner. Then Yeosang… You let out another painful sob, the pillow beneath you fully soaked from how long you've been crying. Suddenly you feel a light weight lean against your back.

“I know you want to be alone, but I'm here for you if you need it.” A deep voice speaks through Tyudeongi. The man on the other side.

You sob again. “He's gone. Yeosang. I can't believe…” You can barely speak through your hyperventilating.

The robot further leans into your back, nuzzling its face into you slightly. You won't admit it, but it's a comfort you need. “I know.” His voice is wobbly like he's been crying too. “Really, would any of us be doing this without him?”

The thought of having to go on without Yeosang only made you cry more. His comforting, gentle presence was one of the things that kept the group stable. To continue your journey without him felt wrong, but to stop where you were completely felt worse.

“I'm so sorry, (yn).” He was crying now, which only made you weep more.

San was missing and all hope was lost. The planet was doomed to die a painful death as the calamity from the sky loomed. And you and the rest of your group were taken prisoner by Shinra. Alone and curled up in the corner of your cell with your head down, you wondered how the others were, if you were all doomed to die here. Maybe there was no hope. Maybe hope did die with- Your spiraling thoughts were interrupted by the sound of your cell quietly being opened. In rushed a tall man in a black suit fit with high black boots. You don't move from your spot. If he's there to kill you then so be it.

“(yn).” The deep voice is familiar. “Please, you have to get up.”

You spare a glance at him. You don't know him. “What do you want…”

His face is nervous. “I'm getting you out of here. They're demanding a public execution of the team.” Your blood runs cold. “Please, we have to be quick.” His hand is warm on your back as he ushers you up.

“Wh… What? Who are you?” You don't fight him as he begins to move you out of the cell.

He ignores your question, nervously looking left and right before (mildly dragging) leading you down the hallway. “Hongjoong and Wooyoung should already be on the copter getting things together. I sent someone to get Seonghwa, Mingi, and Jongho as well.” His grip on your hand is strong. He pauses at a corner and peeks around the side before pulling you along again. “Jongho should be able to fly the thing out of here and then you'll all be safe…” He mutters to himself.

There's a commotion at the end of the hallway and the man curses quietly under his breath, pulling you to the side and using his tall form to block the soldiers running by view of you. Your eyes widen as you look up at him, it sets in how tall he is. “Who… Who are you?” You try again.

He looks down at you, his big brown eyes softening as he scans your face. “Someone who cares about you very much.” The response leaves you breathless, or maybe it's all the running you've been doing. Either way, you find yourself charmed by the tall, mildly awkward man. Suddenly, you're outside in an airport hanger and the previously mentioned helicopter is there, all your friends accounted for. Jongho reaches out for you and effortlessly the man with you passes you into his arms. “Ok, you should be good from here.” He yells above the sound of the helicopter starting. The vehicle shakes before lifting off the ground and you begin to feel hands pulling you away from the open door.

Startled, you reach out for your mystery savior. “Wait! You're not coming with me?” You screech, the helicopter already several feet off the ground.

You can see a group of Shinra soldiers beginning to run up to him, shouting his name, but he stands his ground. “Tyudeongi, take care of (yn)!” You think you hear him shout before he truly begins to fade away, pulled away by the guards, becoming a little dot below you. Your heart feels heavy.

It was on the day before your team's so-called ‘final battle’ that you finally saw the man who saved you again. San had made a triumphant return after the team's escape and after a thrilling pep talk, you all went your separate ways to briefly make your peace before your potential end. You had decided to return to Kalm, your home, and briefly reminisce on the journey. Alone, you found yourself at the top of the famous Kalm clocktower gazing out on the sunset painting the town, remembering when you first met San and Yeosang there. Leaning against the railing, a heavy sigh leaves you before you can even think of stopping it.

“It's a nice view.” A deep, familiar voice speaks from behind you, startling you. Once again, you're face to face with the mysterious black haired man that saved you and the others from the Shinra prison. He's dressed more casually now in some baggy clothes, face fit with a pair of glasses. “Something worth saving.”

You stare at him blankly, unknowingly gripping the railing tighter. “Yeah.” It's quiet. He approaches the railing, leaning against it next to you. His eyes never leave the view of the town. You clear your throat. “So… You're the one behind Tyudeongi?”

He finally turns to face you. Your heart briefly skips a beat when your eyes meet. “Ah, yes. I control him sometimes and see through his eyes.” He lets out an awkward laugh. “I'm Yunho, by the way.”

“Yunho.” You repeat. “It's nice to finally put a name to the voice. I'm-”

“(yn).” He quickly answers, leaving you looking at each other in shock.

“Oh. Right.” He's known you for much longer than you've known him. It's quiet again. “I didn't get to thank you for saving my life. That day… When you didn't get on the helicopter with us and I saw those guards dragging you away… I thought you…” You don't finish the thought.

“I didn't want to abandon you.” You make note of how he says ‘you’ rather than ‘everyone’. “But I couldn't leave just yet, I had some more loose ends to tie up. I… I did regret it though, after seeing your face when you started to take off.”

You sigh, getting ready to say things you don't want to. “Why did you do it anyway? You're Shinra, a high-ranking executive Shinra worker, too, based on how you were dressed and all. You betrayed us before without batting an eye. Why the sudden change in heart?”

He stares at you for a second, his eyes searching your face before he returns to looking at the Kalm skyline. “I did betray the team and it's my biggest regret. I shouldn't have done it but I was still so scared of Shinra… I have no excuses.” He looks at you again. “But, I mostly wanted to change because I met you.”

You feel your face heating up. “Me? Why me?”

Yunho smiles. “You're so different from everyone else. You stand up and fight for what you believe, unlike me. It was your determination and honesty that made me want to change.”

“This sounds like a confession.” You feel your hands shaking and you suddenly can't meet his eyes. Despite this, Yunho's gaze never leaves your wandering eyes.

He laughs. “Ah, well, I guess it is! San did say to make our peace before we maybe die so…” His ears are turning red. “I guess Tyudeongi's fortunes are accurate after all since I am the person who appeared in front of you unexpectedly. You may not love me now, and you never may, but I love you, (yn). And I don't want you to feel alone again.”

You're speechless, you had forgotten all about the fortune. Yunho suddenly finds great interest in his shoes and he fidgets awkwardly. All those times Tyudeongi would join you in your solitude made sense. “Yunho.” He stands straight up, nervously looking down at you. “You're right. I don't love you… At least not now. But if we survive this whole thing, I'd really, really like to get to know you better. Then maybe…”

His smile is like the sun. “Of course. Let's make it through this together then.” He offers you his hand which you quickly take.

“Together.”

GX FAIRY TAIL/GUILD AU REVAMP POST

since my ass was bad at properly compiling this stuff and I'm interested in doing something with this au again sooo this post just serves as a reintroduction to the concept and with a list of the assigned Magic, there are a few characters i never really settled on their magic even now so if there are any exclusions that'll be why some also have a combination which I'd chalk up to it's an au I can mess around if I want. Anyways! THE CONCEPT/GENERAL OUTLINE: While i call it a fairy tail au it doesn't really follow the plot of fairy tail mostly just borrowing it's magic systems and world-building (not to bash on the plot it's more just a personal decision) hence the alternative name for this au just being the guild au instead of a school Duel Academia is a guild, instead of duellists they're magic wizards and so on and so forth the plot's similarities lean toward certain important gx events but play out a little differently. like you'd still have stuff like SOL and Haou but the way they happen changes. if anyone wants further clarification feel free to ask and i'll go in-depth in a separate post. with that ot of the way let's get to the magic assignments and with a small explanation to why if applicable

REQUIP MAGIC - JUDAI (and Haou too) - I Figured this was the best parallel for the Elemental HEROs what with the many combinations and whatnot considering there are SEVERAL different requip armours it felt right. I say Haou too for the obvious reasons as there's not really much reason to change it other than the sorts of armour used. DRAGON SLAYER MAGIC - MANJOUME (Lightning) RYO (METAL) FUBUKI (FIRE) - Manjoume might seem like a little bit of a weird decision but cmon he's Manjoume Thunder it'd be fun (also in the time between this new post and the old post we now have armoured thunder dragon lvl 10 so that's pretty cool incentive) Ryo seems the most self-explanatory what with the cybers. and foobs getting fire bc of red eyes ICE MAKER MAGIC - ASUKA - This takes more from her manga deck n all but there's also just the fun dynamic of Fubuki being fire and her being ice MEMORY MAKER MAGIC - MISAWA - you could argue about something else being more fitting but idk i kinda enjoy this for him SATAN SOUL - EDO - mostly because some of the Destiny HEROs have that demonic kind of appearance (Dogma, Bloo D, ect) and idk there's something fun to it as a ploy to E HEROs being the requips CELESTIAL GATE MAGIC - JOHAN - this just makes sense. 7 keys for each of the CB an extra special one for RD and you can even throw in Crystal Protector and Vanguard too for some fun dynamics

YUBEL: i had a lot of different ones down for yubel due to plot reasons for the original but mostly crash and black magic i'm still hoping for it to be an amalgamation of stuff but what hasn't been really landed on yet just like the kind of magic where they're powerful enough to decimate someone but yet still have some sort of believable innocence (since part of their plans in the au does involve them infiltrating the guild at some point) PEOPLE I HAVE IDEAS FOR BUT NOTHING SOLID YET: SAIOU - I would imagine it to be something similar to Kana's cards but with Tarot cards instead not exactly sure of the ins and outs yet KENZAN - something of a mix between beast soul and animal soul take overs?? just with a more reptilian focus bc gotta keep the Dino DNA in tact O'BRIEN - gun requip might be an option but just a hard maybe atm I'll write more on bits later down in separate posts but that's basically it for now again feel free to ask for more if there is anything od interest

I finally did the Color Wheel Challenge, but I add some rules to myself

Haya the Hedgehog

back in August 2022, i made some dinky designs; Sonic Badniks in the style of Mario enemies. after a while in September, i then got to drawing Sonic, and then the rest occurred.

because further posts will show these designs, i'm somewhat forced to introduce it as a separate post for easier linking for context.

before that, however, i was doodling this Mario-centric Mario/Sonic crossover idea that would act as this introduction to Sonic’s world and his characters to Mario players. basically, some alternate Sonic Forces where Eggman not only captured Sonic, but his friends too, leaving nobody else to come save the world.

so Mario would arrive in this rainbow ring and explore the world to save everyone. big hogablah

because of that, i was thinking how Mario would arrive there, if this version of Sonic's world is part of Mario's universe, if it follows the same lore rules... same... design rules... and that's how i got this child to take care of.

so now we have the Haya Dimension; a dimension in Mario’s universe (think like how Super Paper Mario handled it) where it also has to play along with the rules of Mario. therefore, i put myself within these four rules:

Follow the basic plot beats, not the nitty gritty. The corporate suits above only care about the former, after all.

Change whatever worldbuilding to fit in-line with Mario’s.

Sonic’s name is Haya.

Lower some stakes so as not to cause Mario to travel there and get involved. (Sonic 06 was on my mind when i wrote this)

the Haya Dimension has to be completely outside of Mario’s point of view. nobody there must know the mystery about this dimension. nobody!! not even… Birdo

Differences

yea of course this has to happen. okay uhh i’ll be aping off of my DeviantArt post noting down some differences. note that some of these aren't entirely Mario-related lol

During the Classic Era, Eggman hired a bunch of organic creatures; the badniks are living creatures. Higher-ranking in the Eggman Empire being robots.

Starting in Dreamcast Era, all of Eggman's troops were replaced by robots. This explains E-123 Omega remaining a robot; a modified Topman Tribe husk

Ending in Meta Era (Colors onward), Eggman's troops are both a mix between organic and robotic troops. High-ranking remain robots.

There's no Classic/Modern distinction. Haya Generations looks really different.

There's no physical "future period" in Mario, so Silver is left as a present-day future teller, always relying on the Stars telling him the future.

That there's no "future period" to travel to requires Haya 06 to be rewritten entirely.

The Sol Dimension is a Special World equivalent of Haya's Dimension. Onyx Island comes from the Sol Dimension. Eggman Nega is our Bowser (blue) equivalent.

Cream and Vanilla likely lived on the Moon before becoming homeless after the events of Adventure 2. After that, they moved to Earth.

Sage is designed as a fairy

Honey is a Drag Queen.

Kitsunami's water pack is designed after inter-dimensionally observing E. Gadd's F.L.U.D.D. tech.

Eggman's Goal Plate is a Flag Plate. Spin it all the way down as fast as you can for bonus points.

The magical gems have eyes and special hairstyles. I'm waiting till Sonic Superstars showcases each Emerald's special power before assigning a symbolic hairstyle to them.

it's basically become my personal playground to test my might, my designs, and my writing.

i understand i've yet to fully understand these characters, but i've also done my best to try and write bios for the characters present.

Haya was originally designed as if he were a Mario enemy. he serves as the groundwork design for everyone else. as a Mario enemy, i specifically brought attention to his shoes being a colorful red-yellow.

Eggman went through a ton of designs. they all failed. there's no way to change him. he's already great. his only difference has him with a round nose instead of a triangular one.

his tails were designed after propellers, yet still mutated to still make his bully backstory make sense. the stripes on his tails are designed after propeller wings.
