I love the idea of the Wayne kids dropping extremely vague and disturbing comments during galas. Especially when in uncomfortable situations or if they're just bored. They pull out things from their nightlife too. Other times they just make shit up.

#simblr #ts4 legacy #valentine gen 4 #fun fact for context on why i care so much abt him finally choosing to play the piano on his own #but it's gonna get Long so strap in #basically. the guitar he used to have had been with him since he was like...... my god. probably about 15 #he bought it at a yard sale for pennies from an older woman #it belonged to her late son originally and it wasn't even . supposed to be a part of the sale in the first place. she just took a liking to #devin and figured that really it's better in the hands of someone who would use it than for it to collect dust in her garage forever #and he couldn't really practice at home. his parents... are not exactly the kindest people you've ever seen #he was too afraid of them destroying or throwing it away so he'd sneak off to god knows where and learn how to play it from old #youtube videos on his busted up phone #it quickly became Everything to him. his most prized possession. and it wasn't a shitty guitar either. the son was a professional musician #that's how ellie and devin met in the first place. he was playing at the market she used to sneak out to in the evenings to #and she instantly knew . this boy is going places and really they might as well go together #enough backstory of the backstory. long story short: he was struggling to make rent eventually and was out of vinyls to pawn off #so he had no choice left. it was either that or he'd get kicked out along with his sister. who was still struggling a lot w/ addiction #so he sold it. and it broke him. he's literally just not been the same since losing it #his sister stole him a guitar from a music shop she'd go to sometimes but it just wasn't the same and he had not played an instrument since #until now anyway #still not a guitar. but maybe someday #or he can find his old one and buy it again......... #lmfao if you made it here congrats. you win nothing bc im broke but i do respect you

I should go in the ice.. it's Writing Research actually.. *foolishly gets frostbite* #THOUGH yesterday I went on a harrowing evil journey down a bunch of icy hilly roads to go check on some person's cat because the cat #had been left in the house for like 5 days at that point with nobody to check on them and nobody else seemed to want to do anything #about it (like call all of the neighbors or try to get someone out there) so I just went myself with a roommate who agreed to drive me. #It seemed acting totally normal and I gave it more food and water but.. I am still worried about it.. Apparently the person will be able #to get back to their house tomorrow but.. I dont trust them. But I couldnt take the cat with me because it's like.. a stranger's cat #basically and also no carrier + very skittish.. so I feared if I just tried to carry them bare handed they'd definitely leap from my grasp #and then it'd be like.. sliding on a sheet of ice chasing a cat and so on.. I still think they need to be watched for health issues tho >:| #ANYWAY.... many cat adventures lately... and strange weather... 6/10 on average, I think, spiking to a 10 depending on recency of the last Incident. Kasander really loves animals and is someone who talks to them a lot, and they struggle to balance that with the precautions that would keep other creatures safe. In the end it's the same way with their companions- they could easily hurt or kill one of them by mistake, but they still travel with others. They're learning themself better all the time, and they hope that will help them have a better sense of when it's about to take them and they need to get away. They withdraw much more completely when something has gone wrong recently though. It's hard to maintain that optimism when the strategy has just failed.

3. What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?

hmmm, i think i'd say The Star Splitter, even though it won't be done this year! it's def the most complex fic i've taken on since Close Behind and i'm really enjoying writing it, while keeping up with a new sort of format (writing as i post). it's been a great fic experience and i'm proud to be staying on top of it!

17. Your favorite character to write this year?

harry in along each garden wall, hands down. for not being a POV character, i put so much of him into that fic and just have so much backstory and understanding of his emotional mindset in my head, and i love the life he's built in that story. his storyline is honestly deeply sad; harry spends the entire fic truly believing that draco knows how in love harry is and just doesn't love him back, and then he still won't take advantage of draco's predicament and pain to get a shot at what he wants in the end. he's so good, in a way that makes him exactly suited for the good, decent life draco has built.

im sorry but elden beast rlly isn’t that great a boss. like i rlly don’t care if a huge arena and him making u chase him for the majority of the fight makes sense ‘for the lore’ it’s not fun and it just kinda sucks overall. it’s a final boss that makes u hate getting to the final boss

#lou plays #Horizon Forbidden West #more goofs bc this is pretty much all I do when I feel like playing but don't feel like doing any specific quests #I basically made my way along the edge of the map (sometimes into the black space) from Bleeding Mark to the First To Fly mountain #and then I got Aloy's comment about how she can't climb it so of course I had to try lol #you can't get to the top from the side where the Burrowers are bc the area of play is pretty restricted there and the wall is smooth #(despite actually having plenty space to climb. but they put invisible walls up on that end) #but you can get up along the more south-western side pretty easily. apparently some people have even used the Glider to get up top #not sure which mountain they went from but there's plenty nearby I think. so there's options #and since this is NG+ and you have the flying mount unlocked at that point you can also activate the quest once you get there #which is not the case if you do this before Wings of the Ten apparently #remains to be seen if you can climb on top AND activate the quest if you have the mount unlocked but haven't overridden a Sunwing yet #would be interesting to know how they coded it
