The Corinthian HCs

Once he gets to know you and you've spent some time with him, he is just as down bad as you.

Though, it might not be as great as it my seem.

Like I said before, hes possessive. Take that how you will.

I saw someone else say he was possessive but not jealous. 100%. He knows how much you love him and how he could absolutely wreck someone if they were to get too close for comfort.

The only time he really gets protective (outside of daily life) is if you seem to be getting uncomfortable with someones advances.

He will not stand for that.

He probably visits your job a lot.

You work as a bartender? Hes there practically every afternoon.

You work in a library? Hes picking out a new book every day.

You work at a grocery store? Well, he just happens to need the thing for your department every week.

And hes sweet talking you the whole time.

If he uses your FULL NAME? You better pray to all the gods for your life.

He has plants. Lots of them. They all have names.

Once, you two were watching Good Omens and you made a comment that he looked like Crowley. Hes been living off that high for the past month.

When Morpheus found out about you he didnt really know what to do.

On one hand, nightmares arnt really suppose to date and fall in love and such. But on the other hand, The Corinthian has calmed down A LOT.

He just kinda accepts it. Like "well, as long as he isnt killing Innocent people."

Big win in Cori's book.

On that note, yes he still kills. Yes, he still eats peoples eyes. Yes, he kills more than people that are bothering you. But it's less then what it used to be.

He has tried to get you to eat a eye.

He probably wouldn't bring you to the Cereal convention, for obvious reasons, but if he did you would have to stay locked away in the hotel room or stick right by his side the whole time.

After about five seconds of being out of the room, you came to understand why these rules were set in place.

Wether you stick with Cori or stay in the room is up to you.

If you do stay in the room though, The Corinthian would happily bring you things to do and movies to watch.

If you ever did leave the room without him, being forced out, then he would go absolutely farel on the asshole that thought they could touch you.

If you left by your own volition, he would probably be really upset and send you home in a taxi. The Corinthian might try to understand why but honestly he would just get more upset.

He is a average Twitter and Instagram user.

Probably has a steep following on both too.

He likes cat. Small animals.

He is one romantic bastard. The whole nine yards. Shitty chocolates, flowers, music, slow dancing, fancy dinners, everything.

Just like Crowley, he likes Queen.

He likes most classic rock, really.

In fact, he enjoys a wide variety of oldies music. Classical, swing, jazz, blues, blue grass. Whatever you call 1920s music.

If you play a instrument, he demands you play for him atlest once a week.

Before him I cosplayed Crowley (Good Omens) cause...that loser is pretty much me tbh.

Then Sandman came out and when I first saw Cori...Sorry, that was love at first sight!

First I couldn't put a finger on the 'why' but I have a few theories by now.

It's still incredibly funny to me that I fell so hard for him. Usually I see a character and be like "Lol, that one is literally me" like with Crowley or Jaskier. With him it was more a "I want him!"

Never had that before. My brother tends to make fun of me for simping so hard for him (all in good fun). I mean...I have a Cori-related tattoo and planning to get more, writing a fic about him that is over 80.000 words long and far from done, I got into drawing humans just so I could learn to draw him. He is such an inspiration!

Cori is a bitch, a badass and a loser. He is charming, he is dangerous and he has issues.

I never had a thing for blondes before him. Never considered myself a monsterfucker until I saw his eye-mouths and were like..."Ok, why is that so sexy?"

Plus I never considered myself 'hot' until I went blonde and cosplayed him. Don't get me wrong - I never thought of myself as ugly or anything. Just...not someone people would try to flirt with.

Being him gave me a lot of confidence I didn't knew I had in me.

I used to just be that rather shy, awkward and goofy guy and ~boom~ people did look very differently at me all of a sudden.

And I have to admit I might enjoy it a bit too much...

I just wanted to say thank you for the nice comment you left on the Good Omens Comic (the vavoom one) I posted on my sideblog ^^ I was so nervous about writing their characters so you saying I nailed it really made my day :D sorry if this is a weird ask, i dont know how to use tumblr lol

OMG i’m so glad you saw!! yeah i really do feel like your writing choices in that comic were wonderfully consistent with their characterization in the show, in ways i feel a lot of people in the fandom overlook in terms of their character. i especially liked the part where aziraphale explains, “do you think I would ever choose to leave you? I needed to keep you safe— keep us safe” because you hit on the point that for aziraphale, it wasn’t a choice to go to heaven, it was give me coffee or give me death; a choice between a terrible thing and death is not a choice at all. he never wanted to leave him; he just felt that he didn’t have a choice.

and then the kicker was when he started to say “i- i wanted to do / the right thing” and crowley embraced him, because THAT’S a take i don’t see often but in my understanding is so crucial to understanding their love for each other— from how i see that final fifteen minutes, crowley understood the whole time that this is who aziraphale is, someone who can’t back down from a fight if he knows there’s a chance he can change things, if there’s a chance he can help people and alleviate suffering. he’s an angel— he had to do the right thing. he can’t turn a blind eye, not when there was a chance he could change their circumstances. he had to try. and crowley knew this, even as he begged aziraphale to choose to stay, tempted him with everything he’d lose, desperately tried to get him to be selfish, to let himself be happy. and he knew everything he did would be futile, because that selflessness, that optimism, that bastardry, that stubborn hope is what made crowley fall in love with him in the first place. he loves him for that, for being so himself, even though it makes him angry sometimes. so when you wrote crowley to say “i know. you always do.” i was so happy because yes!! he understands, he always understood, and he forgives him, and he loves him!!

it’s also great you showed him saying “i totally am, yeah! furious!” and now this is just my interpretation of what you drew, but i like to think he’s not mad at all anymore because aziraphale came back and that is enough for him, but to keep his dignity as if he’s not a total simp he says he’s totally mad, “but you said you needed help?” because he completely and utterly forgives him, and is all in on being there for aziraphale and helping him. unconditional love babey!!!

and then i just love the callback you made with “i love you.” “you wot?” because that is GENIUS!! and would be such an awesome and poignant callback to the beginning of their story. and then the connection to how crowley said they’d always been pretending, so aziraphale called back to it and said “i would like to stop pretending that i don’t [love you]” because THATS SO COOL, it shows that aziraphale heard him when he said that, and he knew that crowley was right, and he loves him.

this just became an appreciation post of that comic haha, it really is fantastic!!

Random ask - who are your top 3 'this is me' characters?

Oh anon, I struggled with this. Whenever I'm asked anything like this I immediately forget everything related to the question I've ever experienced.

With that said, I decided to go with more recently consumed media and this is what I came up with (in no particular order):

David (Staged): Wait, hear me out! David Tennant is a real human being, but Staged!David is a character. And as much as I hate to say it, that character is exactly the level of soaking wet, introspective, existential-crisis-sharing, attention-whore of a human that makes up a large part of my personality. Like, I'm not always a needy, depressed meow meow, but when I am, that's EXACTLY how I behave. I'm very sorry to any future partner(s), but in exchange I will simp SO HARD for you and otherwise make your life a delight. Depression works hard, but my adoration works harder.

Crowley (Good Omens): Yes, another David Tennant character, but in my defense I'm including Book!Crowley. Much like Crowley, I struggle with authority for authority's sake and the overall injustice of society/the world/existence, but despite a pretty extensive history of trauma, I share the belief that the universe is overall good and will look out for me (and good people in general). I also tend to latch onto one person at a time and struggle to expand my friendships outside that typically codependent (working on that part) relationship. Not to mention the sharp and dark humor, difficulty talking about serious things, and a false aura of confidence that makes it seem like I am not the least cool nerd you'll ever meet (I am).

Ashton Greymoore (Critical Role): While there are various aspects of a variety of Critical Role characters I can relate or even aspire to, Ashton is just.... So me. The chronic pain condition. The severe abandonment issues masked by seemingly logical understanding and lack of self-worth. The extreme loyalty borne of said abandonment issues. The humor. The gender. The hero complex. The conflict between the desire to be known and the need to be anonymous. The conflict between the need to do right by the world and the desire to just protect your family. The what-the-fuck-is-up-with-that of it all.

Hope that's a sufficient answer! Frankly, I was at a loss as to where to even begin. 💀

Starting off with a terrified Aziraphale driving home in the dark.

He actually seemed so nervous being out by himself here. How is he gonna cope on his own without Crowley?? Honestly I don’t think they’re gonna be separated for more than 1 episode in S3.

Aziraphale pretends to be sooooo good but he sees a hitchhiker and is like LOL no.

‘oh so sorry I can’t stop I’m so late!’

He knows Crowleys gonna worry…or be upset if he’s back late. Which means they agreed on when Aziraphale should be back. Just fucking get married already you’re most of the way there

“You don’t seem his type at all.”

And with one eyebrow raise…Michael sent an entire fandom into chaos *screams, explosions and gunfire in background*

“Things could be worse! And they will be!”

Hells loud speaker sounds like the internets persistent pessimism. And what’s this giant sand timer? A shift timer?

We’re back in business with simp Aziraphale the blitz ‘I just got picked up by the bf in his cool car and he just saved my books and killed 3 Nazis I think I just fell in love’ edition.

He’s such a teenage girl but also I, a fully grown adult, would feel the same if someone rocked up and saved my books and killed a few nazis for me

Lol Furfur really wasn’t interested it the Nazi’s homophobia calling Aziraphale a ‘sissy type’. He was like ‘don’t care moving on Crowley was in a CHURCH?’

This is Furfur he’s an 🏳️‍🌈✨ally✨🏳️‍🌈

Furfur is also quite like Crowley in his sarcastic manner. I can understand why it’s hinted they were friends or at least associated with one another. I feel like him and Crowley would’ve been friends in another life. I need a sarcastic bestie flash back from the war when Crowley was hanging out with ‘the wrong people’ cause I think that includes Furfur

Aziraphale is having some trouble labelling his relationship with Crowley in this flashback. He stumbles on it multiple and ends up with friend. My dude is really having some major brain stutter while he tries to wrap his brain around being ‘friends’ with a demon.

But i mean really ‘friends’? COME ON. Friends don’t look at friends that way.

Hat off in the bookshop: where it all began

Overcoat off in the bookshop: the prequel to;

Suit jacket OPEN in the bookshop: a fan fiction probably (definitely) written by Michael Sheen

Glasses HALF off in the bookshop: the teaser trailer to ‘Glasses off in the bookshop- the reason I live and breathe’

This whole interaction in the bookshop and the magic shop was adorable. Aziraphale is so excited but nervous. Crowley is hyping him up and encouraging him. I love how Crowley really is a gateway for Aziraphale to discover more things and enjoy living on earth. Aziraphale is bookish, but Crowley helps him actually experience the things he reads/learns about.

And I could say MANY things about the change in body language between them over time. Crowley is very relaxed and open with the way he stands/is around Aziraphale and Aziraphale has lost his hesitancy to be physically close to Crowley. The little torso swings they do around each other is so cute I can’t even describe it in words but just look for it and you’ll see what I’m talking about. But they stand facing each other most of the time now, where in the early flashbacks they’re standing next to each other but facing front or they’re standing further away from each other.

niki tries new things!

So, just to let y’all know what I’ve been into the past few months, I decided to make a list. some of these things haven’t changed from the past but others have! so if you see me reblogging more about the new things you don’t have to be startled at all :)

A) things 🍑 I still enjoy:

word of honor & faraway wanderers : I don’t think that’s ever gonna change tbh. I’m still writing a long fic for woh and I plan to at least get another one finished for the fandom before taking a break from creating for it. I had one more in store, but it’s becoming oddly personal and I think I’ll work on it in my spare time and possibly never post it, who knows!;

winter begonia : I fell in love with the drama and I’m still reading the novel that it was based on, so of course I’m gonna stick to them for a very long time! I have a long wip in place and another planned for the drama, but they require a lot of research and I’m collecting various pieces of information to give them justice. so I may be on hold in the fandom but not forever!;

other various danmei novels/shows: I’m still waiting on winner is king drama to air :( so you can see me ranting about sha po lang in equal measure. then there’s golden stage, my absolute love, and lord seventh :D so yay for that!;

good omens : the love is resurfacing due to the new season creeping in on us, but it never quite left in the first place. expect more content on the ineffable husbands and their unruly children >:) cannot wait!;

welcome to night vale : I want to pick up the podcast again! :( but I’m a perfectionist at heart and I cannot fathom skipping episodes! so I will have to plan my listening schedule accordingly. wish me luck!;

B) things 👯‍♀️ I don’t quite enjoy anymore:

the untamed & mdzs : I’m sorry but... it’s not doing it for me anymore ;-; which is sad bc I made good friends through that ;—; but my sparks only come back in regards to it while reading meta or character analysis. I still have some fics saved that I occasionally re-read from my favorite authors, but I think I have outgrown my stay in the fandom. I will be forever grateful for mdzs for introducing me to a bunch of new interesting things to delve into in 2020, for keeping me company during forced isolation and for bringing me joy with lots of new people. AND I think it’s time to let go at the same time. this doesn’t mean I won’t enjoy my friends rambling to me about this or that character, this or that plot point or fanon scenario tho! I’ll just keep my distance and let them have fun :) it’s ok;

lotr & the hobbit : only a few of you will know that this blog was originally a bagginshield nostalgia blog in origin. the username is evidence of that after all! I will always love both fandoms, but I haven’t looked for new content of fics in a while and I routinely re-read old fics rather than engaging with brand new creations so... it’s time to let go. I considered changing my username too, but since i share it with my art blog idk what to do... we will see!;

anime in general : namely Mob Psycho 100. I will always love it, don’t get me wrong. but I haven’t had the emotional capacity to engage with mp100 final season yet and I don’t think I’m ready to let go of it. I will suspend my judgment for now, waiting for when I will be ready to properly move on;

C) NEW ✨ things I enjoy now:

house of the dragon : look. I don’t really care for got or the book!canon in general. I’m just a casual fan ;-; no need to explain all the details to me. more than being a rude tourist who doesn’t bother to learn about the culture, think of me as a tired hostess or steward forced to take a liking to the local fast food place in between flights. that would be me, flipping through the menu and getting hooked on r//haenicent content bc I’m but a smol bi and a simp for pretty and dramatic ladies. sue me. I’m not interested in the discourse, I don’t want to know who is terrible and why, this is fictional and I am tired. but if you see me reblogging stuff from there I will tag accordingly with the proper tags from now on, so you can mute safely;

the devil judge : some of you may have noticed I started talking about this kdrama somewhere about last October and I haven’t been the same since. I won’t write for the fandom but expect me to be annoying and hyper focused on it at all times when you less expect it. I can be quite steadfast in certain aspects of my fandom life and this is no exception;

helluva boss : me? liking indie-turned-super-popular animation? in this economy? it’s more likely than you’d think! look. I’m slightly less casual and more committed about this compared to my recent hotd fixation. but. once again, I have no interest in the discourse. I will reblog stuff from it and make an effort to tag even if I grew out of the habit as of recently. I found out about it last April and it helped with my anxiety. I’m enjoying something new after a long time and it doesn’t even require me to create content for it either. I can just lay back and chill. so. no fighting;

don’t hug me I’m scared : ik it’s unsettling and I care deeply about it, ok? but ik some of you are a bit uncomfortable with the material so I will take precautions and tag appropriately. I will only reblog stuff from the fandom bc I have no mental energy to create any content for it. I have no ship to board and no intention to join any ship tho, so there’s that. I just like the medium and mindlessly engage with it, triggering or not. sometimes I trigger myself just by paying attention to it, but I won’t subject y’all to it and will tag, I promise;

dune : I will be obnoxious about it. blame the upcoming movie for it. the visuals are pretty, the ladies are even prettier and even though I don’t really care for the tim boy I am endlessly entertained by his character since Paul and his life choices are amusing to me: he makes no damn sense, compels me though. also expect me to be annoying af about bene gesserit shenanigans in general bc. well. I’m only human;

the hunger games : less than dune, but the new movie interests me quite a bit. I love me some fictional villains and meta on them. their fictional struggles fascinate me. I don’t want to engage in the discourse with this one either;

succession : I have not watched the series, but an old friend of mine very enthusiastically insisted I give it a try so I will do that while trying to avoid spoilers at the same time. the stakes are high!;

D) things 👀 I’m looking forward to:

crafting : I want to make tiny things ;-; where is the time tho????

reading : there are so many things I want to read! mental health has been wild recently, I barely had energy to keep up with my favorite fic updates :( that’s all I have had energy for in the past few months ;—;

drama series : I’ve been given excellent suggestions but I keep falling asleep at odd times and haven’t found the time for that yet. which is very sad and very upsetting;

drawing : I feel like I haven’t practiced in a very long time and that’s unacceptable!;

music : I have new albums to listen to from my favorite artists, but I feel like I’m putting it off bc I fear I won’t enjoy them much :( , on the other hand I have received amazing suggestions and I’m excited to give them a try!;

I think this is all! I will probably put a “keep reading” on this later on. but yeah! It’s nice to be back :)

• ok guys, it's about time for me to simp for omen again.... sigh....

• at first, things are rough. omen isn't exactly the most welcoming to people, especially strangers he's expected to share private space with. instead of closing the distance, he takes to what he does best and doesn't even look at you - he slips in and out in your shadow, and at first you'd think he doesn't even come back from missions. i like to think that you two didn't even have an introduction, you just opened the door to an empty space that looked more like solitary confinement than your new room. the silence was... unnerving.

• but on the bright side, you catch him eventually! he almost crushes your wrist when he feels the air move behind him, but your pained yelp has him letting go right away. he turns his body to look at you, like a machine, and you beam. he's blinking rapidly at the excited gesture, despite the less-than-favorable first impression. personally, i think it would be weirder if you weren't excited - i mean, this is your absolute cryptid of a roommate caught on camera.

• you take his hand, shake it with your smile that would've tasted like the sun, and introduce yourself. he was star-struck. someone that looked at him not as a monster, but another human. even in the softest, most gentle stares, he could see they knew he was different. their voices treated him like he was an animal and he'd come to accept they'd never change - before you, anyways. he finds himself being dragged along, like a cat by the scruff.

• eventually, he starts lurking around more, and you're delighted to actually see him in the room one day. "omen!" you cheer, running over to him, but cautious not to invade his space. "welcome home!" a light blue glow comes to his face, but you're not really sure what it means. you find yourself leaning on the edge of his bed next to him, and most would say talking to an omen is like talking to a wall, but you know he listens.

• you come home to headquarters one day, and you come to an empty room, a gray scarf nestled on your nightstand with a note between the cloth. a simple "thank you" is scrawled onto the paper, melting away into gibberish at the end like it was rushed, but you still melt at the sight. you cherish that scarf with your life, because that thing is the labor of your forlorn love and you accept it graciously. you wear it everyday, but don't tell where you got such high-quality clothing from. no words are exchanged, but you give omen cups of tea and new, hundred dollar yarn and the little chain of gifts continues.

• (that night, you thought the room was empty, but omen stares from the creak you left in the door, and watches how you hold his gift like liquid gold. he smiles to himself, but disappears when you look back. just like any shadow.)

i imagine omen being super stressed talking to brimstone saying "what if she doesn't like me!!! i want to ask her out but she must not like me!!" and brimstone is like "dude. you're literally married to her. stfu."

You and your husband had boundaries, that much you both accepted. He didn’t tell you he was in VP and you didn’t tell him you were a radiant. You wished you pressed on more when he told you he was going away for a while, because he never came back.

Time allowed you to heal, barely. It took months and months of researching and asking around, days of hopelessness and acceptance to finally be able to live a little. Two years later, you were contacted by the HQ. You had no idea how they found out you were radiant, the only place you ever used your powers was out in the suburbs.

Upon being escorted to the base, you found that it wasn’t too far from where you frequented, kind of funny actually. You were welcomed into the family by the young agents hanging around in the living room first, the girls of course being the sweethearts that they were, gave compliments which made you smile. Brimstone gave you a tour around and finally you were heading to the labs.

A voice, though slightly distorted, rang clear in your ears as you got closer to the laboratory. You stopped. All the support you’ve built up to lean on came falling down and tears started to roll down your eyes. The door opened on cue as his name slipped from your lips brokenly.

“Ja..mes?”

“..do I know you?”

Viper and Brimstone looked between the both of you, gears whirring in their heads. Suddenly, something clicked as they recalled the brief details James had used to describe his wife.

“Wait, by chance would you be James’ unnamed wife?”

“Y-you know James? Is he… him? His voice sounds just like him, I-”

“We have a lot of explaining to do…I think it’s best we go to my office for this.”

A good few hours of talking passed and you stepped out of the metal door with Omen beside you, still trying to collect your spilling emotions. The phantom said nothing at first but as you were about to say something, he spoke.

“I’m…sorry that I can no longer remember the cherished memories we made but if anything hasn’t changed… it’s that I felt and still feel attachment to you. Perhaps we could… have a second chance?”

You looked up at where his eyes would be, teary eyed and emotional but overjoyed that he still feels for you. Your arms pulled him into a tight embrace and buried your face into his hood.

For the whole of the next week, you told him about how he was and things you did together. Some of his traits remained but he was certainly more brooding and quiet. The week after, you decided to let him talk, lightly encouraging him to talk about how he has been and what he does now. At some point, you sat him down and decided that you would only tell him about his past self when prompted. It felt a little wrong to babble about someone else, he’s still James, the one you love with all your heart but he’s different. You respect that and you’re eager to fall in love with him again.

He seemed to lighten up at that, he had your word that you weren’t hoping for him to remember anything or revert back to how he was and he was allowed to just be himself. Slowly but surely, physical affection wormed its way back into your lives. Days off were planned dates and hell, he even started FLIRTING? Everyone say thank you to old man Brim, actual MVP here.

“Sir, what if I say something wrong…?”

“Kid, relax. She’s still so in love with you that you could just compliment her and she would probably kiss you straight after,” Brimstone replied as he took a sip of his coffee.

“Now get out there and serenade her or something, whatever youngsters do these days.”

The young agents were definitely both of your wingmen. They hyped up the both of you often and would even pull schemes to get something to happen. They had a whole chat group titled “Cupid Gang!!” to plan and discuss their next move, so much happens there.

Crowley loves you very much. He might not show it since he is a demon and does not love. But when you came in his life, it changed him. He is very protective over you and loves you more then his Bentley. Since Gabriel is very busy sometimes with the plan of the All mighty he doesn’t really have time for showing his love or being with you but that doesn’t stop you both, when he has time he would show his love and sharing hugs a lot, he would even hold you forever if he could. And if there is anything you want to do together (even if you want to do IT he would🙈)*kinda embarrassing for me since I’m a simp for Crowley and not Gabriel😂* so the love score is 10/10 he loves you very much😉

Hastur🐸:

(Now I am not a big fan of Hastur but for the people who actually simp for Hastur I added him to the list or else those people would feel left out and hey we all gotta be loved here😘) So since Hastur is most of the time in hell all he felt is hateful things but when he met you he felt different and he kinda hated that feeling but strangely he liked it secretly without him knowing, he never expected someone like you to take in interest in him but he felt the same and he would sometimes protect you but he would also try and help you to save yourself since demons are suppose to be strong (you know😂) but if it’s difficult for you to protect yourself he would as well but without showing the other demons that he has interest in you. Your relationship with Hastur is private or else the demons will only make fun of him and call him pathetic. And he hates it when people talk stuff about him. But when you both are alone he cares about you but he has just difficult time showing it. The love score is 6/10 he loves and cares for you only he has difficult time showing and feeling that way✨(I know the score seems like something you don’t like but this is how I think your relationship would be with Hastur🥺❤️)
