Going through the first #cleansing process at the first #fountain of 7. #washawaythepain #cleanse #purify #ritualbath #scars. Wish I wasn’t hurting so hard and fresh out of the hospital here, the one that gave me that scar on my back, the big one. 5 broken ribs healing. But that’s what made it all the more special and healing. I did feel relief after this process. It was relaxing somehow. It was purifying of the #mindbodyandsoul. Kinda like duck diving. Every time you went under you purged and cleansed till you were worthy of the moment un-burdened and splintered in thought. Back on #102217 my last day in Thailand, (unbeknownst to me) before flying out to Bali. Also unbeknownst to me was that a huge #funeralprocession was planed this day for #kingbhumibol and all of #Bangkok for the first year #memorial of his passing. After an exploratorytrip to the mall #downtown for some last minute canon camera gear before heading off, I quickly discovered what was going on and how trapped I was as the whole city had been shutdown. Those still freshly operated on ankles and knees where in for a #trek I could had never seen coming. A #blessingindisguise. I was chosen out somehow to be apart of this blessed and honorable event without any knowledge of my own. (They had just had a day of remembrance a few days before but hadn’t brought out his casket and had the procession) With that said, I was also #blessed to have all my canon70d and #canon6d on me as I unwittingly joined this most honorable #landmark in time amongst hundredsofthousands of #humbled and loving #thaicountry men, woman, and children out in droves still morning on this day, paying respects.
