When the old guard had turned their back on one of the greatest voices in country music, American welcomed him in 1994 and began, what could be considered to be, one of the greatest back to back series of country music albums released in the end of the century. Where late century country artists started looking to pop and hip hop to sell records, American Volume One is simply Johnny Cash and an acoustic sitting in a living room. We could spend all day discussing the work with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on American Two and the endless supply of cover songs he reimagined. Let's face it, we all know that Hurt no longer belongs to Nine Inch Nails. That song now belongs to JC and is one of the few times where we can all agree that the cover song is clearly the preferred version. Same can be said for his version of Thirteen by Danzig. Two for two where he absolutely crushed our hearts and left the originals in the dust. Sadly, we could not include Volume Five in this tribute because it was unavailable. Nu sunt un fel de Grinch modern, din contră, iubesc și am iubit întotdeauna Crăciunul. Nu am nici un dubiu ca îl voi iubi întotdeauna.

Se apropie perioada asta magică care umple sufletele tuturor de bucurie!

Anul ăsta pentru mine este puțin diferit.

Sunt Alin, am 23 de ani și voi împărtăși cu voi niște gânduri. Nu ma cunoașteți, probabil în viitor o veți face, niciodată nu poți știi.

Întotdeauna am fost entuziasmat de venirea Crăciunului. Încă de când eram copil, iubeam la nebunie perioada asta a anului, iubesc tradițiile, colindele și tot ceea ce tine de Crăciun și de bucuria cu care ne umple sufletele an de an. Am făcut la un momentdat o pagina de Moș Crăciun, încercând sa bucur copiii de pretutindeni și sa le întăresc încrederea în moș și în magia pe care acest personaj o împarte.

Anul asta simt însă că nu am puterea de a ma bucura. Încă iubesc Crăciunul, la fel de mult ca întotdeauna însă ceva este pe sufletul meu și ma umple de nostalgie. Sa fie amintirile legate de aceasta sărbătoare, lucrurile petrecute de-a lungul anului ce a trecut? Persoanele pierdute și amintirile rămase atât de adânc întipărite în sufletul meu? Se poate. Tot ce știu este ca înțeleg oamenii care nu se bucura de Crăciun. Pana acum nu îi puteam înțelege, însă acum înțeleg. Crăciunul îți aduce amintiri frumoase și sentimente de neuitat, este minunat sa împărtășești asta cu cei dragi, însă atunci când ceea ce îți dorești nu este lângă tine de la un Crăciun la altul, tânjești. Problemele de adulți acoperă sufletul care încă este copil, devi reținut și nu îți vine să te bucuri. Eu am trecut întotdeauna peste toate astea și sufletul meu copilăros a rămas la suprafață de fiecare data, pana în anul acesta.

Filme de Crăciun, scenarii în care doi oameni își găsesc jumătatea ca prin magie și toate lucrurile se leagă de la sine împinse de la spate de destin. Le iubeam, doar ce am văzut două.

M-au întristat și mai tare. Pentru ca știu. Acum știu ca totul este doar scenariu, știu ca în viata reala asta nu se întâmplă. Crăciunul e Crăciun și este o sărbătoare, o sărbătoare minunată ce merita serbată, însă nu este o sărbătoare care poate face minuni pentru fiecare în parte.

Pentru cei care au sufletul de copil la suprafață, nu îl lăsați sa plece, bucurați-vă și păstrați toate persoanele dragi lângă voi, păstrați-vă iubita sau iubitul, părinții, bunicii, frații, nu ii dați la o parte. Crăciunul este despre iubire. Asta este cadoul principal pe care trebuie sa îl faceți.

Pentru cei care au pierdut speranța și Crăciunul a devenit doar o sărbătoare oarecare, capul sus! La un momentdat ne va învia spiritul de copil, vom reuși sa trecem peste toate ce ne apasă și într-un final magia se va presăra și peste noi cu praf de stele amestecată, umplând-ne sufletele din nou.

Vine Crăciunul! Pentru mine anul ăsta o simplă zi.

Me siento tan solo y tan mal, verdaderamente mal, creo que nunca había sentido este vacío tan basto, lo único que siento es insatisfacción, ya no hay nada que me motive a nada.

Me siento patético y estúpido, insuficiente, temo por mi vida ahora, ahora que ya nada parece importarme la cobardía se va desvaneciendo, no necesito ni quiero ayuda, esta es mi vida. Miserable e infeliz.

Quisiera que me hicieras mucha falta, y gritarte que regreses, pero aquí no hay novedad.
