Took a long hiatus because I burned myself out trying to juggle work and the shop, but I'm back now. Prices in the Etsy store have increased as I realized I was doing too much and undervaluing the time it took to do those things. Additionally I will be adding physical items to the shop starting with a crocheted poppet in white yarn for universal spell use and possibly pocket sized worry dolls that can be carried around.

I am making a pact with a demon this weekend, after trying to communicate with him I've seen a very bright orb whoosh by me in my room 2 times. I sought him out myself and I'm excited to build a trusting relationship with this demon. Usually I try and see who wants to reach out to me, but I've decided to turn the tables this time and do what I want.

On that note, I've been listening to an audio book at work that I think some of you would enjoy. Especially if you're new to spirit keeping.

Consorting with spirits by Jason Miller. He has a lot of helpful information in here and gave me a different view point of things. I recommend it! I'm sure Amazon has printed copies if audio books aren't your thing. I like to listen to books to make time fly by at work, and if I'm doing that then I might as well learn something 😆

I just noticed this anon and of course Tumblr doesn't tell me how long it's been here for, so if you've been waiting for a while then I apologized.

I am not going to name names, but there is a witchcraft creator on Instagram who I started following because they made interesting things and had interesting commentary, and made posts that I felt were unique and worthwhile. This person is now churning out the kind of trash you would have seen in the 'totally bizarre' section on eBay in 2006, you know, items that are haunted, except instead of selling a ring you found at a garage sale for $2 that gets posted on eBay for $50 with a description alleging that it contains a powerful haunted genie or whatever, it's specific types of named spirits that you've never heard of before but surely must be ancient and mighty have had some kind of mystic ritual performed to seat them in an ugly, ugly plaster statue which is being sold for the low, low price of $150 USD.

I find this incredibly crass and tasteless because it's a fucking spirit shop, that's all it fucking is, they're making money by selling tawdry and hideous gewgaws to idiots and I think it's just fucking gross.

Yesterday they posted a table with legs that were shaped like legs, painted green and wrapped in shitty polyester fabric leaves. I just can't. It's the dumbest fucking thing.

I am so grateful for the connections and friends I have made recently. A wonderful friend of mine picked up some beautiful pieces at the crystal market for me yesterday.

This isn't everything, but just some of highlights. I am so grateful to have such awesome friends.

I'm off work for another week still, and I can not wait to go back. I'm losing my mind at home! I've gotten some much needed rest though and my mind is finally calming down enough to where I can get back in touch with meditating.
