Looked a little nicer before my family went to town on them but I’m pretty pleased with how they turned out, one of my first times trying to fry anything. I intended to soak them in some salty water, smash them flat, and fry them savory, but they were red-black so I just sliced and fried them straight up (I even ate a bit raw and it was still sweet)

BORJAN: And the flavor is very reminiscent of it. But of course, I think that it has a unique flavor. Because you can probably taste what comes out in our local cooking.
today has been so horrific and I am so completely emotionally and physically drained I originally wanted to fast the rest of the night but I just got home and my parents are cooking a delicious chicken and plantain and rice. I'm eating it I don't even care I know I ate earlier but I need some kind of energy right now. I can figure it out tomorrow
