Funny story time
TLDR: I have a frozen dick stuck in my mailbox
So I ordered some adult stuff online a week ago and it was delivered yesterday. And if you don’t know, Texas is have a massive ice storm rn. So my mailbox today, when I tried to retrieve it, is completely frozen and coated in ice. Like I’d have to smash it to break the ice and I’d probably break the mailbox… and dildo inside. So now I have to wait out an ice storm to get my mail and it’s suppose to be bad tomorrow too and idk when I can get it. So yeah, I just have a frozen dick in a box just waiting for me 😆

This is the state of our driveway.
That red car across the street?
That’s the one I use. We moved all our cars out of our driveway yesterday, just in the nick of time.
And a lot of people on our street weren’t so lucky.
Just a heads up on my personal situation.

I freaked out the New Yorker, I feel obligated to share this now on Tumblr because as she put it, the rest of the world must think we’re nuts to live here.
(Yes, I am from Oklahoma, but Sanger is literally just over the Red River.)
Storms in question were on 6/15/23.

@hawksbrood and I have reached the point of no return. Our brains are so broken we decided there should be a remake of The Conversation (1974) starring Scott Caan titled The Caanversation.
STOP BEING COWARDS, PARAMOUNT. RELEASE THE CAANVERSATION.

It's gonna be a hot one today.
Texas doesn't normally see ice, but the past few years we've been pretty consistent with at least one ice storm per winter.
Actually Texas weather has been pretty polarizing to say the least.
We had an ice storm at the end of January - exactly to the week that we had an ice storm the same 5 days the year before. Talk about consistency.
Then today in April - we are having our first predicted 90+ degree day - and I think we will reach it. Now, I like the heat more than the cold, but even I'm scratching my head at a high of 92 in this first week of April. The irony is that the rest of the week will be normal temps of 60's and 70's.
You just can't make this stuff up!
So while it's a great day to be hanging laundry, I will pass from working in the garden today.

Governor Graveyard is at it again.
If the fuckmuppet had done something after the storm two years ago, these people wouldn't be without power in the first place.
I hate this man.
