Hi there, I've definitely answered this in a bunch of different places, including here, but since they're all a bit hard to find, I'm just going to copy-paste and tag more rigorously here!

Assuming the Shepherds have all met personally Prihine at this point, which is dubious...

Blade: I don't know any circumstance where he would find this out unless he and MC were dating and they happened to mention it, lol... he's not really given to prying into his friends' social lives, so if anyone were to be like "I hooked up with her!" he would just look at them like why are you telling me this. At first he would be like 'who's Prihine' in his head and then would remember that random screechy noble who was married to the Trade Minister (the one they definitely beheaded) and then he would find out MC slept with her in the Shepherd infirmary after arresting her husband for demonic possession and then he would be very concerned about MC's professional integrity and choices!! 😭 It wouldn't even be about Prihine as an individual, it would be more about MC's conduct as a Shepherd lol he would be mad alarmed!! Shoulda been a cantbecommander +1 flag 😭 (iykyk)

Trouble would think it was hilarious and kind of make fun of MC a bit, lol. Like really? Her? Lol that’s a little embarrassing lol. But whatever mate, you do you...

Tallys: MAD judgment. Active repulsion. Serious question of MC's judgment. 😒😒 If they were on a romance path I think this would give her the ick lol

Shery: I think she'd just be happy for MC if she found out they slept together, pretty much in the way she'd be happy and supportive of them if they told her they hooked up with anyone, but she would be a bit concerned that Prihine doesn't seem to want to be with them publicly and would ask MC if they were okay with that!

Riel: being the only other person who has actually spent time with Prihine prior to joining the Shepherds, he would just be like "you what." Knowing him, his mind would be racing trying to think of how to leverage this (for MC's sake) in a political context, but on a personal level, it would just be like

Chase: “yeah, I get it... I mean, it’s not for me, but I get it.” *no judgment here*

Red:

"Good for you... I guess?"

Ayla: jaw drop. THE FUCK? you slept with your client??? oh she wasn't your client at the time... then you guys reconnected after you stopped being her bodyguard? BRUH YOU DID WHAT TO HER HUSBAND? ... ON THE SAME NIGHT??? the fuck... (she would basically just be speechless)

Briony: she already gives you her reaction in Chapter 6 so I'm sure I don't need to rehash it much, she's kind of surprised but is mostly just like "oh good for you!"

Lavinet: uh well I'm sure you can guess how she felt when she already figured out that Prihine slept with MC (from Prihine herself) and then MC shows up at her door sometime later like "lol so do you have any sisters? ...what about cousins" as innocent as the driven snow

I’m not named after a person, but my dad used to do a cover of the song Hot Cherie by Hardline in his band back in the day, so my middle name is Sherie. He changed it to an ‘S’ because I was given his initials.

Today because I got super nauseous and I tend to cry like a baby when my tummy hurts lol

1. Are you named after anyone? I am! I was technically named in honor of my mom's favorite aunt Sheri, but my mom liked the French spelling better.

2. When was the last time you cried? Last night. I was working late last night and I was exhausted so I cried.

3. Do you have any kids? No but I wouldn't mind eventually having them.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Not usually because I have trouble picking up on when others use it.

5. What sports do you play/Have you played? I used to do competative cheer and I played volleyball in high school. Now, I just jog in the mornings.

6. What’s the first thing you notice about other people? I guess I'd say the state of their hands/nails. Like, I check if they have dirt caked under their nails and avoid shaking their hand if they do.

7. Eye colour? Brown!

8. Scary movies or happy endings? Scary movies. I think it's fun getting scared (in a controlled setting).

9. Any special talents? I don't know if it's really a "special" talent but I know how to play the piano and I've been baking since I was a kid.

10. Where were you born? I was born in D.C.! My mom was there on a day trip which turned into a 3 day trip when she went into labor.

[Red] was, despite the length of her absence, still staring at the large sphere that had caught his eye.

“Must be quite a find to hold your interest for this long,” she teased, coming to stand next to him.

“This is a Worldwalker artefact, Ryn,” he replied, not looking away from his study of the etching that covered the surface. “I’d give my left arm and my tenure to have a month to study it.”

Xaeryn smiled, heart skipping a beat as she watched him him. Like a kid at Wintersun, she thought fondly. “You could talk to Shery, you know. And if the museum was amenable to it being studied, I doubt she would require so hefty a payment.”

“Just my left arm, then?” Red joked, though the sparkle in his eyes when he looked at her made her wonder if he half-meant it. “Might be worth it.” He turned to face her fully. “Did you need me for something?”

“No,” Xaeryn shook her head, “just wanted to see how you were doing, maybe talk to someone I know and like for a minute.”

He chuckled. “I’ll happily fill some of your time, Xaer. How goes the informative conversations?”

Her heart skipped again, trying not to think about Ms. Aescar’s comment.  “Very informative, actually. There have been parties interested in the Torch, including the one you mentioned I should look into.”

“That is informative,” he agreed, offering her his arm. She slipped hers through without a second thought, and they started around the room. Leisurely pace, looking at artefacts as they walked. “You have an awful lot pointing in the same direction, then.”

“I do, indeed.” She glanced over toward King Kaza of Elinden, currently engrossed in chatting with a politician she vaguely recognized--Jarreth, Jarket, something like that [...] “Now I just need a chance to talk to him. I feel like he wouldn’t take kindly to an interruption.”

“Suppose you’ll have to talk to me longer, then,” Red said with a wink as they slowed by a display case housing a beautiful, broken silver javelin. “If you think you can manage it.”

“I’ll find a way to muddle through,” Xaeryn laughed. As if you aren’t the only one here I really want to talk to. “Surrounded by this much history, I’m sure we can mange one of those hours-long talks we had in school.”

It’s been a while but I really am proud of you for staying here on tumblr, you truly are one of the most purest souls on here. I really miss you and I’m sorry for leaving so suddenly. I know you’re probably upset with me which you have every right too, but I wanted to check up on you and sort of explain why I left??

My life kind of crumbled to the ground and there’s so much to say but I don’t want this to be too long. Though I will say that it got way too overwhelming and with the toxicity the kpop community was, I decided to just.. leave? Some of the closest people I knew became not who I thought they were and I punished you for not giving an explanation, and I’m sorry.

I don’t ever know if I’ll ever come back, but just know that you left an important place in my heart — with the short amount of time we’ve known each other. And I wish you happiness and health.

I’m sorry that people ended up not being who you expected them to be. Those type of people end up being the worst kind. You find out in the worst ways too. You didn’t deserve that.

Sometimes leaving is all we can do. I wouldn’t ever want you to stay somewhere if it was making you more stressed than safe or relaxed. Leaving is hard but it can also help us in a way we didn’t know we needed.

And for the record, please don’t ever think of it as a punishment for me and the others. This situation seemed like it was out of your hands and this was the best way you thought you could handle it. I hope things are doing better than it was before <3

Hello there! I real love your IF🖤 could you tell me how far the story is on patreon (the romances, story, quests)? I really would like to join patreon and support you. And I saw different snippet that are from stories (like where the mc is pregnant or the wife/blade mission), are they yours from patreon (sorry I just feel confused a bit)?

Hi there, thank you so much for your kind words and support, I truly appreciate it! :) As noted in the pinned post, the (Patreon-exclusive) alpha build of the game is currently on Chapter 8, while the demo covers up through the end of Chapter 3, so that should give you an idea of how far along the main story is! As for romances, it's harder to say, because they're progressed both through the main story and through day off interludes; they're certainly farther ahead than the public demo at this point, but not all day off interludes are complete, either! I think the original founding four Shepherds (Blade, Trouble, Tallys, Shery) each have 2-4 (?) day off scenes and all of the other Shepherds have at least 1, though Mimir's is a heavy draft right now and needs to be spruced up a bit. But some of the romances also feel like they've had heavy progression because of what happens during the story missions, as well!

As for the snippets you might have seen floating around lately, those are actually excerpts from the original novels that the game is based on, not the short stories on Patreon: you can read more about those in the tag and in the FAQ! Basically, sometimes I share little snippets from the original novels when the mood strikes me, but the short stories on Patreon are entirely different and focus on individual characters from the cast and giving more insight into them--they're not romance-focused and don't usually heavily involve the MC except by reference or implication. finish the zombieman/saitama fic!! so far i’ve got four and a half chapters/8k words done, which will make it longer than the longest vixx fic i’ve ever written, and i will prob need to add in at least two more chapters and introduce a subplot to make it better and just !!! it’s exciting to be writing again but also tiring and frustrating. i really really hope this fic will be something i can be proud of. it’s been ages since i wrote a long fic, and i’ve never ever finished a multi-chapter fic in all my years of fic writing, so i really wanna accomplish that with the help of my latest muses! (btw if ya’ll are into opm/bnha/kuroshitsuji/overwatch, follow me @tenderonlytoone​!! it’s kinda lonely there since a lot of my old friends are gone, but i’m doing my best to resurrect it)

get good at my job. this has been stressing me out so much! everyone tells me that it’ll take me at least a year to really understand how to do what i do now, but i keep feeling like i’m not good enough, or fast enough, or smart enough and it’s just >: i wish i had wonshik/hakyeon’s work ethic... (not that the others don’t work hard, but i think we can all agree wonshik is just at a Whole Other Level)

get back to doing hot yoga. i haven’t gone for a class since chinese new year ^^;

increase my social skills. i’m trying to be more outgoing and put more effort into actively reaching out to people, because i’ve realised that all i really want in life is to make a positive impact on other people’s lives, and to some extent, that will require me to be able to get along and connect with people on a human level, and not just by pumping out fics or gifs for notes
