Just thinking about the way Stanley yelled “Uncle Klaus!” after shooting him even though there was no one else around and he knows that Klaus isn’t really his Uncle it’s fine

Tonight before sleep I'm thinking about Johnny lying about his age to get into the military at around 12-15 years old and that decision ruining his life completely.
The horrors that he experienced there. Witnessing war and death at such a young age. The cyberpsychos as the result of his prosthetic and being experimented on like a lab rat, which probably included some brain chemistry tweaking.
Thinking about that devastates me, but it's also impossible to stop.

In crack contingency with your Destiny being the father of the four Horsemen post--I just can't stop thinking about how HILARIOUS this fact is when you consider everything else 😂
Dream's all, "This is my son Orpheus! He has a beautiful singing voice and plays the harp! :D"
And then there's Destiny, like, "This is Pestilence, Pollution, War, and Famine... They're going to usher in the apocalypse."
Like OMG 😂😂
Omg 🤣😂... Imagine the play dates! Dream trying to leave the room while Orpheus clutches desperately at the hem of his robe. Pleading not be left alone with them. 😆
Death: Now Orpheus you have nothing to worry about. I know they look scary but honestly they're little darlings once you get to know them.
Orpheus: (Looks over to see War casually brushing her hair with a ye oldie switchblade.) Daaaaaad!
But yes. Can you imagine Destiny's parental posturing. 😆
Destiny: What does it do?
Dream: 'He' is a musician. One then finest known to the world, mortal or other.
Destiny:... Ah, I see. He's inherited your peculiarities.
Dream: You mean creativity?
Destiny: Yes, my condolences. Faminine had wiped out a civilisation by his age.
Dream:... 😑
Destiny: Perhaps he shall develop something more impactful to fate of humanity in later life.
Dream: I'm leaving.

Upon my third rewatch I just realized that even with the future saved Casey Junior still lost his entire original family. Those turtles still died and no time travel will save those exact versions who raised him.

Have never watched the original of which “A Time Called You” is adapted from, so have no idea what is the difference between the versions in terms of characterisation/portrayal, but the way Min Ju is portrayed in the Korean version breaks my heart. Her character trajectory is understandable from the POV of a highly introverted, emotionally-intense, “anxious-depressive” and socially awkward girl who is trying to make her “dreams” come true vis-a-vis her long-time crush, ignoring the fact of imminent dangers forewarned.
It is tragic yet so realistic in its depiction of a young person’s - in her case in particular but of course issues which happen across ages - distorted outlook in life. Han Jun Hee is a confident, outgoing working professional in her 30s (her brighter personality notwithstanding, the life experiences between a teen and a woman in her 30s touched by grief is unimaginably large), and the contrast between an insecure teen and her is a wide gulf.
In a sense, I assume the age difference in the characters themselves between the Taiwanese and Korean versions would be noticeable in how the tone of the characters and narrative would be set. From a fan comment, I suppose the vibes/moods and portrayals between the versions differ, which is simply natural, and I would state, desirable. No point in making an exact copy of an already fantastic existing work (which is not really achievable either).
It is actually wonderful to be given different interpretations and portrayals of the same basic premise. It just means there is more to enjoy, and perhaps a/another favourite.
Jeon Yeo Been really performed both roles brilliantly, especially in the final last episodes. Both characters are easily recognizable from each other, and my heart just breaks for Min Ju and her misguided naivety and desperation. I took a peek of the finale and expect the ending would not be tragic, but I truly hope Min Ju gets her HE. She truly does deserve the world even if she did not feel she does.
Because by the end, I am much more invested in the “love story” between Min Ju and In Gyu than Jun Hee and Si Heon. 😅😆
Edit after completing the show: I enjoyed the ending but certainly wished we got a bit more updates on what happened to the characters, especially Min Ju and In Gyu. I suppose there is always headcanons.

So, just looking at the end of that new clip from For the Future, I’m guessing it’s gonna be Eda and King who will finally get it through to Luz that she doesn’t need to leave permanently.
They were her first Boiling Isles family after all. It’s up to them if not even Camila or Luz’s friends can get through to her.

My friend knows Spanish and I'm learning French so when we went to a comic convention last weekend and saw a kid dressed as Spongebob, we proceeded to shout in their direction in our respective second languages, obviously.
Here is an artistic rendition of the event:

Now your interpretation of immortality has me thinking of an Annika-like scenario where some friend did manage to temporarily fatally wound him and he got healed and woke up as they were trying to take out his bones -
like the poor boy hasn't been through enough!! 😭😭😭😭
but wow, talk about the most awkward situation. "oh, hey. oh this? I was just. um. trying to fix it? it looked broken. I mean it did, before you started, um, healing? after – wait, you think I did what? you must have hit your head in the fall ..."

I’m still not over how Puen pretty much kidnapped a whole child and lied to his boyfriend about it and that was supposed to somehow be romantic because it brought them together.
You know what strained relationships always need? A child. Especially when the reason the relationship is strained is because they’re both too busy to spend time together. So obviously a child that neither person was prepared for and equipped to handle is the solution.
It’s not a good sign when you need to steal a child to force your partner to spend time with you. Good god

idk there's something so fucked up about how anyone regardless of age treats your disability if you're fat. like when I was a varsity athlete I was just barely overweight, and I kept pushing myself SO much harder than my peers because I kept seeing they could do things I couldn't. and they kept making fun of me relentlessly and accusing my pain of being made up, fake.
I was dislocating my bones as I was running. specifically at my hip. my patella kept moving in places it shouldn't have moved. my wrists kept sliding out of place when I had to lift the heavy equipment. but all these kids calling me fake, all these adults rolling their eyes at me, simply because I had a larger figure than all of them, it made me push myself so much harder than I needed to. I pushed myself twice as hard to be half as good as my peers.
it was to the point that physically I felt SO MUCH BETTER when I graduated high school and dropped the sport. people kept raving on about how the exercise would make me lose weight and make me feel on top of the world but I didn't lose the weight and felt awful all the time.
when I got my diagnosis and the doctor explained things to me, it was like that little kid was being seen for the first time regardless of their weight. it's a case where being skinny and being relentlessly active is NOT a sign of being healthy whatsoever. I just wanna shake my younger self by the shoulders and tell them that.
