I have so many thanks...too many thanks actually for everyone that follows this sideblog. I've had it for YEARS, but never spent much time socializing with the fandom until the recent boom. I was immediately welcomed from so many people and it means a lot. ❤️

@ronald-speirs - I think you were the first person to interact with my red cross graphic (the first thing I've made for this fandom since 2019) and you've been a wonderful friend ever since. Our convos (no matter how short) make me laugh every single time. You, your edits and screencaps are A GIFT!

Childe seeing something in the window he thinks you might like and buying it as a gift. he's been trying to earn your trust for a few weeks, waving and chatting with you whenever you pass Northland Bank, although strangely it's not because he needs you for something or wants to use you for some plan. oddly, he's doing it because he wants to. no strings attached, he swears it, even to himself.

he buys the little trinket and puts it safely in a box. it's small and pretty, a token of affection- hopefully this will let you see that he's being genuine, despite him being a Fatuus. perhaps you'll stop looking wary around him and stiffening when he walks over to you, even if you've become less so in the passing days.

perhaps he'll get to see you smile like you do to the people on the street; Hu Tao, Keqing, Zhongli. he brightens at the thought, ocean-blue eyes even sparkling, just barely.

but he never gets to give the little gift to you. it's left behind with everything else when he's forced to run, trapped in a strange, painful body that's his own yet not. when he finally collapses it's where his exhausted brain wanders to; not to his mission, not to the aches that attack his limbs, not the onsetting illness hanging over his head; no, that little gift sitting in the drawer of his nightstand. he'll never get to give it to you. you'll never know how much he's grown attached to you, how much he wants to stay with you. how much he loves you. Childe sobs at the thought, the sound coming out as a choked whine. you'll probably live the rest of your life thankful he's gone. everyone is, when it comes to a Harbinger. and his last memory of you will have fear in your eyes and rigid shoulders as you fear for your own safety but Archons, you can't move.

um...hi? so, i hit a thousand followers today. and it's only been a few months since i hit five hundred, and frankly i'm pretty fucking shocked. i'm, like, nauseous but also really touched. not to be sappy on main or anything, but when i posted on here for the first time, i didn't think anyone would read it, and i was okay with that. i'm still okay with that. what i'm trying to say is that i'm really thankful for you guys and your support. i'm honestly not entirely sure i'd be okay if i hadn't started this blog. it's not even a year old yet. i've made friends (you know who you are) who i'm lucky enough to have put up with me, and i'm not good at making friends. every time someone comments on or reblogs something i've written i feel a little giddy because you liked this little story i made up about a most-likely-dead dude. and that means a lot. i'm sure if you knew how much of a loser i was you wouldn't want to follow me anymore, but i appreciate you sticking around. i totally don’t deserve any of this. thank you for giving me a safe place to hang out.

i was thinking, as a sort of celebration, i'd try something different this time (not gonna lie the last one kind of stressed me out). so basically, i wanna write you guys a fic. and i'll put up polls and you can vote on the character/tropes/type of fic, and then i'll do my best to write whatever you've come up with. i thought that might be fun. let me know what you think, okay? i might've already started coming up with the polls, so if there's anything you want included (like a trope or something) let me know that too.
