A couple of weeks ago, I finished the band from this post!! I had so much fun and instantly ordered an inkle loom 😅

I majorly messed up the pattern at the end (you can sort of see it in the corner of the diagonal photo) but I was quickly running out of weaving space so I just figured FUCK IT it's my first one! Doesn't need to be perfect!

The fact that Soma never once stopped thinking about his band is ending me btw. Like the best case scenario in his mind is making sure the Date survive no matter what might come their way, and in order to achieve that, Soma is willing to not only (temporarily) ally with his enemies and kiII his friends but also kiII their bands. As he pointed out, "it's enough to feed our castles as long as we live" --- which is to say, if they split it, it'll only feed their bands for their generation. Meanwhile, if Soma gets rid of the rest of the bands, it'll feed the Date for at least 4 generations after his own ends. Everything this man does is for his band fr and frankly I'm wailing on the floor about it as we speak
