Shirecorn's Ponyverse Masterpost

So for the last 2 months I've fixated on doing redesigns based somewhat loosely on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I've had so much fun filling in the gaps and extrapolating until my version is less of a redesign and more of an AU.

Helloooo finally got some pony content here

Especially that it's my infection au!! Right now I'm just going to post the survivors until I can post the actual gore and the stages of of the infection. But while I'm working on that I hope you enjoy the survivors I got line up!!

!!TW!! Some death.

Starting off with King Sombra and Flurry Heart!! Now this au, Flurry Heart is a little older, so she is is around the same age Apple bloom would've been in the show. (The cutiemark crusaders are obviously little older in this au as well. And this takes place the beginning of season 3..just..a little different lol. Ah gotta love aus./g).

How Sombra became Flurry Hearts protector/guardian is a sad one with a sweet ending though. King Sombra came back once the Crystal Empire came back. But, it was easier than he thought. He just walked right in, trotting around the empty streets of the Empire. But, it was oddly quiet. He was more so confused and a little worried if the ponies were even alive. As he was trotting up to the Castle, he was attacked by an infected. He quickly fought back and impaled the infected pony (owch). He was now alert and he was bitten. Luckily for Sombra, he isn't a normal pony. He was more shadow than pony. So he can't get infected, he's immune. However, due to his dark magic corrupting his body many moons ago, he can't provide a cure. Once, Sombra got into the castle he noticed it was a pretty bloody sight. Before he noticed a white unicorn carrying a filly alicorn on his back, running away from a horde of infected ponies. Sombra quickly blocked the horde with his black crystals, saving the unicorn and filly. The unicorn turns out to be Shining Armor and the filly is his daughter, Flurry Heart. He suddenly began to beg and plead with Sombra, hoping he could take care of Flurry Heart, to protect her until her mother gets back from Canterlot. Sombra cringes at the idea of protecting this filly but, he knew she would probably die if she doesnt have anyone to guide her and provide for her. And he noticed that Shining Armor was bitten, and it was spread fast. Sombra is cruel, but he isn't that cruel. He promises Shining Armor to protect Flurry and takes her. He now is trying to reinforce the castle and to get any survivors into the castle to build and army to defend themselves and the other survivors. Flurry heart slowly brings out a softness in Sombra, and the two are close. Almost like found family (sobs)

I love these two, they are so cute and the fact that my version of Sombra always wanted kids when he wasn't corrupt but couldn't but then has to protect Flurry heart us just very sweet. He's literally a dad. And Flurry heart just brings out is sweet side and she just makes him play dolls and dress up, most definitely lol.

Here's their story!! I will post Twilight, AJ, Pinkie, Fluttershy and Discord soon!! I think I will post Twilight soon and I will work on RD very soon!! I have lost to work on and write as well!! (Also sorry if I misspelled anything or used the wrong words..I'm not the best at that lol)

Seeing how so many Tellius character end up in the orienta- I mean, desert banner, I wouldn't want to imagine a PoR or RD remake. At this rate, the only game that somehow managed to escape fanservice were the Jugrals

Judgral's lack of seasonal presence is very much a mixed blessing. On the one hand there's a sort of pride in it being the one FE setting that IS seems to treat with some degree of dignity, at least in the sense that we've never had any Jugdral characters in bunny outfits or Halloween costumes or whatever. On the other, restricting them almost completely to the most conservative seasonal themes (formal dancing, teatime) or to banners tailor-made for Jugdral (the Crusader festival) both restricts the number of alts the characters get as well as keeps them from all the fun, goofy designs seen elsewhere. Pirate Brigid and Lifis are about as silly as Jugdral has ever been allowed to be. I'd really like to see either game feature on the child banner, one of which is coming up in a few weeks. There's plenty of material to work with - the Gen 1 Lord trio at the academy, the Tirnanog kids, Leif and friends on the run pre-FE5 - and that banner theme is relatively serious as far as seasonals go.

As for Tellius remakes, IS may get around to them eventually, though it may be 5-10+ years from now. Who knows what the state of FEH will be by then, or if it'll have a successor gacha so IS can take everyone's money a second time?

Least favorite mlp characters?

As of now I don’t really have any characters I actively dislike, but I will list the characters I like the least as my least favorites!

So here is my least favorite…

Mane 6: Fluttershy, because it seems like most of her episodes were about learning to stand up for herself or accept herself as shy. There’s only so much you can do with “shy” as a personality trait y’know? I loved her in Zephyr’s debut episode though because she got to be put in a different role.

Princess: Flurry Heart because she’s a baby and I’m not particularly invested in baby characters beyond “aww how cute!” Also Cadence, specifically after Flurry Heart was born, because it seemed like the rest of her personality fell away to just be “Flurry’s mommy.” Before that she was awesome though.

CMC: This is hard — Scootaloo is my favorite because of disabled person solidarity, and since there are only three main Crusaders it’s hard to pick between Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle. I can’t say Babs Seed either because I love MustLoveFrogs’ Babs x Twist art too much.

Villain: Sunset Shimmer, SPECIFICALLY in the first Equestria Girls movie. She was a stereotypical mean girl with little else to her, that movie really did her dirty. I love her in all the prequels and sequels, though, so it’s really just that one movie.

Minor antagonist: I don’t like how Garble was written, first as a one-dimensional asshole and later with his weird slam poetry deal. I feel like they could have given him a sensitive and eccentric side in a better way. However, I adore QueenCold’s art of him, along with all her other headcanons, too much to flat out dislike him as a character.

Non-pony: The diamond dogs and Sludge were plain annoying. Also, the episode that the buffaloes were in was awful and in bad taste, but this is more about the show than the buffaloes themselves.

Celebrity: Daring Do. She should have remained a fictional character in-universe. She’s a Rainbow Dash recolor, which worked when she was a fictional character RD was projecting onto, but not as a real pony. She steals Ahuizotl’s stuff for…idk why? And is also named after a transphobe (AK Yearling = JK Rowling).

Background pony: I’m sorry to the fandom, but Derpy (or Muffins, or Ditzy Doo). I just find her overrated; she’s a Rainbow Dash recolor with a lazy eye that was originally only an animation joke. Not that there aren’t wonderful fan works with her, but I just don’t get the hype.

Blitz Core

MY APPLEDASH NEXT GEN!! Yes I made Rainbow Dash's kid not have wings yes I am a sadist for choosing this for her

Blitz Core is a very important pony as far as Princess Twilight Sparkle is concerned, Blitz was the first pony genetically made by two mares! After seeing AJ try to brush off not being able to have children when babysitting for her big brother Twilight decided there was SOMETHING magic could do, there had to be. And there was! With Rainbow and Twilight's insistance they were able to give Applejack the birthday gift of a lifetime, a family.

Blitz Core is a thrill seeking pony at heart with a rational inner voice keeping her from doing to many stupid things at once. Being the first magically born pony in all of Equestria meant Blitz objectively was special, but she never truly felt it. Born an earth pony Blitz had one and only one goal, be faster than her mom Rainbow. As much as AJ would reassure that being an earth pony is just as amazing RD would often have her own private comments gushing about her wings, getting to Blitz hardcore.

Thankfully Blitz did grow to have a space away from the comparison, being able to find refuge with her aunt Apple Bloom and the other Cutie Mark Crusaders! Blitz didn't get her cutie mark for a while, knowing in her heart it had something to do with whizzing by but feeling defeated by her lack of wings. Scootaloo chimed in one day mentioning how her scooter helped her with the same issue, so Blitz tried something completely new to her. Rollerskating.

That's how Blitz Core got her cutie mark, growing up to establish the first pony derby league in Equestria spawning a new main sport that would rival the Wonderbolts' flying shows. Currently Blitz owns and operates her own derby rink, allowing any blank flanks to take a free spin in case that was whats stopping them from their special talent. Blitz is close to Aurora (comin up next 💖) often being her voice of reason. Being both the voice of reason and the thrill seeker gives her some hypocritical lines occasionally, but she trusts in her gut when something is fun or dangerous and has never strayed from that feeling.

You'd think Tutberidze and co having Valieva skate to a program about her doming scandal, effectively making her relive again and again what must have been a traumatic moment (regardless of whether Kamila was indeed doping which she most certainly was), capitalising on that, and on patriotic feelings to whip up sympathy toward "that innocent child unjustly accused by the West on a crusade to destroy us because we are too good"

But I just want to mention that Khavronina/Cirisano, yesterday skated their RD to a French song which is all about

How sexual harrassment is good actually

Contains several swear words that are repeated throughout the song such as slut and cunt (smh those are stil forbidden by the ISU)

Right when the tempo changed they included an air defence siren for some fucking reason????!!!

Which if you're looking to the most repugnant program a skater could skate to, you'd be in a pretty good place to start.

/ Okay, because I have actual plots for the pretend war game going on between Sweetie and the others; I encourage everyone to send some asks.

For those lost, I will explain what’s happening under the cut!

The Crusaders are playing a pretend war game. AJ, RD and Rarity are all participating.

AJ is ‘Apple Devil’.

Rarity is ‘Elder Diamond’.

RD is ‘Rainbow Soldier’.

Apple Bloom is ‘Sargent Apple’.

Scootaloo is ‘Queen Scootaloo’.

Sweetie is ‘Sweetie Boss’, leader of a mafia.

The roles make no sense, but then, what game of pretend does?

For those who want to include other characters during this, I welcome it! It’s honestly just a silly pretend game for fun for the characters!

Right now, ‘Elder Diamond’ is trying to get Sweetie Boss to betray Queen Scootaloo so that she can take over and rule.

And given they’re sisters, the boss is conflicted! So, have fun! Don’t shy away from helping Sweetie or recommending stuff! Your choices will affect the game choices Sweetie makes. Think of it like choosing a path; Sweetie can stay loyal to her friends or betray them, joining her sister on the path of evil.

The game is only over when someone dies (IN GAME ONLY) or gets their power role taken. Or if Sweetie decides to send all the Anon after Rarity, lol. Byeee!

It’s something I’d love to see them implement in the future, since they have improved on matters of gay representation a lot even since Fates

Actually they've had gay representation since FE3 with Rickard's crush on Julian. Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn were very LGBTQ positive with the hero Ike, not having a female love interest, several characters confirmed or hinted to be a gay and a non binary hero (Kyza) in 2008 Radiant Dawn. Of course some of this was censored in the english localization at the time.

Its just that the team behind that game disbanded due to poor sales and the new game afterwards by a new team Awakening, was super duper homophobic for some reason so someone on that team must've been a heteronormative crusader.

There are some homophobic comments in the Japanese version of Awakening's hubba tester that I can link, basically it says stuff like "You are both boys, ugh that is disgusting" to same sex results.

Again they also depicted Walhart's tactician as an okama (gay man+transwoman stereotypes) that was mocked by the good guys and depicted as a loathsome individual with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

So its more or like, Fire Emblem is getting back on track after getting derailed by a homophobic team.

Okay, I think somebody has to take my “knows stuff about Fire Emblem” card after forgetting POR and RD’s gay representation/hints (Didn’t hear about FE3 before, though, only GBA FE onwards!). Really strange and frustrating how the change in teams led to such a backslide we’re still getting out of (Engage, though I haven’t finished it, seems to have fully gender-equal endings, which is great. But man, FE3H having next to no male same-sex options was a frustrating choice.)

I definitely believe you on the comments in Japanese Awakening; the comments in English aren’t what I’d call great either, even if they are surface-level accepting. It’s strange to see them lean more into Awakening’s gay readings now with Robin and Chrom in Heroes, honestly (though I fully believe that could be just as much for gacha $$$), considering how much of a joke or even a failing gayness was treated as in the original, especially with Excellus.

We don’t like contributing to landfills. That’s why we prioritize recycling and donation before we ever dump items we pick up. We can donate furniture, clothing, toys, household goods, and more at local donation centers. We recycle everything from glass and cardboard to TVs, appliances, and scrap metal. This keeps our environment and water supplies safe while keeping more goods and raw materials in our economy!

We've also done player contribution-based things

RD One of the major issues is that we don't have an Emissary for Army of the Legionfall WoTLK Gold, this is the faction you're helping to create. As you're experiencing the content out in Broken Shore and Broken Isles and are receiving these resources and you're using them to then contribute to the building. And each time you contribute to the building, you receive an item. Instead of completing an Emissary with the specific words, "Do four World Quests," this is, "Go play the game play, have fun and come back, then contribute your time and resources for the building and here's your immediate reward," Apart from the more long-term reward, which is the building of that item.

We've had players in the past, similar to Isle of Thunder--there were building which were constructed over time, and was not exactly player-contribution based, and we've also done player contribution-based things however, I don't believe we've ever had this exact scenario. There's been no instances of it rolling around over time, and allowing players to choose between different buildings and enjoy all the different content and buffs that come along with them every time. So it's fun on our side, and a little experimental, however I'm sure players will enjoy it, and we're anticipating hearing responses to how it's going.

World of Warcraft Classic's first expansion, The Burning Crusade, is one step closer to releasing. Blizzard tainment has announced that beta testing has begun.

Mary Jean Jennings, October 29, 1924 - July 28, 2022

Modesto, California - Mary Jean was born in Ceres, California, to Charles and Harriet Barrows, and was the second of five children. Growing up in a Christian family, Mary Jean developed a strong love for Christ and a desire to serve, which took her to Bob Jones University and a degree in music.

Mary Jean met Benjamin Jennings while attending college, and one year after her graduation they married. Together they raised their family of four, and served the Lord in churches in Chicago, Illinois, Van Nuys, California, and Modesto, California, with Ben as the minster and Mary Jean at the piano. A calling to go into missionary work with Campus Crusade for Christ took them to San Bernardino, California, Orlando, Florida, and Ripon, California.

Mary Jean was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed reading. She particularly loved reading and studying the Bible, and at one point was the well-loved leader of Bible Study Fellowship. These talents were matched only by her proficiency at the piano, and her ability for composing songs and poems.

Mary Jean follows her beloved husband, Ben, of 72 years, and is survived by her four children, Kathy Himebaugh (Jon), Joy Jennings Danziger, Colleen Fraioli (John), and Cliff Jennings (Linda), 12 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Thursday, August 11 at 11 A.M., in The Venue at Big Valley Grace Community Church, 4040 Tully Rd. Modesto, California. Remembrances in the form of donations can be sent to Modesto Gospel Mission or Modesto Pregnancy Center.
