Arriba "You're Never Gonna See Me Cry", firmada por Billy Miller y Andy Schernoff (The Dictators), la otra es "Nobody Knows (But I Do)" de Andy Maltz y Greg Cartwright de R.Sound.

The fact that Taylor has released the same amount of albums under Universal/Republic in less than half the time when she was with Big Machine, really makes me wonder about all of the potential things she could’ve done if instead of having to fight tooth and nail for everything, they had granted her more creative freedom and trusted her.

I only know how to draw one (1) type of zukka art and it’s sokka talking and zuko listening fondly, but that’s ok ❤️ [id: three drawings of atla characters. the first is of sokka, zuko, and druk against a blue square on a predominantly white background. they wear clothes styled and colored from their respective nations. sokka smiles, while zuko looks at him fondly, holding druk aloft, who looks irritated, smoke and small flames coming from his snout. the second is of just druk, redrawn as the homophobic dog meme. he lays down, annoyed, text in front of him reading “not too fond of gay people.” the third is also just druk, sitting on a cushion, expression distressed, text reading “just saw two men kiss.” end id.]

I’m not here to yuck on anyone’s yum* but some of y’all are using speculating on David Tennant’s sexuality as an excuse for thinly veiled biphobia, yet again. Cut it out.

was just listening to the different versions of teeth and can I say the tone lower that the vault and acoustic versions really gives it a noticeably darker feel whereas the studio version feels more stripped back and processed yk? less of a traumadump and more of a story being told, slightly more of a sonic contrast from easier than it was before, and appropriate for its position on the album—though I’m half sure they only put it up a key so fans didn’t get mad when they can’t sing it. the RAH version is interesting though because it’s in the lower key but it doesn’t sound so dark because it’s actually the higher key that takes full advantage of the range of the acoustic double bass (in D minor it has to go up an octave to match the cellos) and the choir kinda gives it a lighter feel.

i wish jensen would stop changing his opinion on the finale every time he’s in front of a new audience. Today he said that there was nothing he would change, he could only sing it’s praises. And I’d like to blame Jared but Jared didn’t have any input. I just don’t feel like I can ever trust jensen not to appeal to any given audience 🫤
i don't think jensen really has a choice. it's his job and he can only talk about his opinions so long as it doesn't majorly offend anyone. and he'll only be in a job as long as he keeps things in balance.
it sucks, truly, but there are consequences for speaking up, especially in his position. he also wants to keep going with the spn universe. he has big plans, and he won't get to carry them out if he alienates a good portion of the show's fanbase. something that makes spn so attractive as a business is that it's kept a dedicated base of fans who are willing to spend a lot of money. spn has never been the most popular show, but its fans are dedicated in ways that most shows can only dream of. more fans are willing to watch the winchesters, for example, than jared's walker. because all jared's done post-finale is alienate the dean fans, and the cas fans, and the destiel fans. jensen, for the most part, has done none of that.
people are ambivalent about jensen whereas misha and jared have fans that are really black and white about their passion for them, and that's because jared and misha are really outspoken. jensen's always so careful with his words and the fact that he hasn't exactly shown a neutral face post-finale speaks a lot more about what his real thoughts and feelings are, rather than when he answers con questions where the audience is often very particular in the way they think/feel about the finale.
when he talks about the finale, he's very careful. he said it made good television. and objectively, that's true. look at how hysterical it was for all parties involved. it riled up everybody. people are still talking about it. that's actually quite a feat. and that's usually what the companies behind producing these series think is good television. that's what's going to convince these companies to go for another spin-off or reboot or movie.
he said dean wouldn't have been able to go on if sam died. also objectively true. because cas was also dead. it would've looked bleak as hell for dean.
jensen at the end of the day never lies tbh. but sometimes he withholds certain truths. like how he doesn't mention cas' absence in a room full of fans who probably hate cas anyway. the fact that he doesn't mention cas doesn't mean that he doesn't think cas' death wouldn't have affected dean too. it doesn't mean that jensen doesn't think it wouldn't have been a major factor for dean's ability to continue if sam died too.
just because it's unsaid doesn't mean it isn't true.
he's always been very honest when asked about what he would've done if cas came back (a hug, a desire to address the confession). and when asked what dean probably would've done if he'd had more time to respond to cas' love confession, he was also very honest (dean would've said i love you too).
so at the end of the day, he's never said directly that he liked the finale and that he was happy about how it ended (that's a very personal opinion to express and that's just inference that certain fans have picked up). but what he has done is make very neutral and very objectively honest statements about it that keep fans dedicated to the show.
he's not changing sides. he's not changing his opinions. he's just being very very careful while telling the truth.

One of the dullest joys in my life is being in the Facebook group for the medicine I take and reassuring people who are scared to start by telling them how easy my first shot was
They should put me on their promotional postcards instead of that lady from The Sopranos

@artemisthehuntress @tomicaleto don't tempt me 😭
I wish I had the time to write two or three scenes for this AU, with first the ROTS goodbye scene between Obi-Wan and Anakin, but this time instead of being nice and proud Obi-Wan is disappointed and stern with his reckless padawan, and a few harsh words are exchanged before he leaves his padawan behind to go to Utapau.
Then a second scene years later, where Obi-Wan finally decides to let go of his last hope that Anakin could have survived the massacre at the Temple (he couldn't actively look for him but he always tried to reach out to him in the Force, kept his ears open for any stories about a padawan who survived) and gets as gruff, scruffy and resigned as he is in the show. Bail finally convinces him to join the Rebellion and really, what does he have to lose? He barely uses the Force these days, but at least he could make himself useful there. And perhaps make some sense of his life, now that his padawan is not at the centre of it anymore.
Or that's what he thinks, until he has to meet his pilot for his very first rebel mission and he recognises the pilot's (dangerous, imprudent, vomit-inducing) flying style in a second. He opens himself fully to the Force for the first time in years without even thinking about it.
And then he laughs, incredulous. And runs towards Anakin.

never apologize for bitching about dumbass miguel takes.....your analysis is so good including when it's critical in nature i am Living for someone finally saying some of this stuff
AGSHDJF I appreciate the support haha. I’m trying not to do it too much though. Or at least try to be less bitchy and more just. Stick to outlining where I personally disagree with a reading/interpretation. Plus tbh it’s honestly probably more productive for me to be talking more about stuff I love over readings I dislike haha.
On the takes themselves, I don’t even think they’re stupid, because the questions they’re asking are like. Important ones to understanding the characters. But when it comes to answering “why didn’t a character do this thing”, I think it’s helpful to try and think from their perspective, and consider why a character may have declined that course of action or not considered it etc.

george and sapnap were just on shadounes post mcc stream for a few minutes. they talked a bit about mcc and maybe future travel plans. shadoune is invited to their house after twitchcon vegas (he's going but george and sapnap haven't said if they're going). and shadoune invited them to go to peru to visit capitan gato afterwards. sapnap wants everyone to go to a cabin in the woods in montana instead for christmas because he wants to fight bears
okay all that sounds very good and very nice except the last part SOMEONE NEEDS TO REIN THAT MAN IN.
