Tumblr media

Tumblr media
scent of eager suds - @rkivian (knj x reader | smut, angst, pwp, fluff)
summary: you missed each other, too fucking much. but your head had stayed down in futile hopes of remaining stubborn, forgetting that there is a wedding ring on that tricksy little finger of his for a reason.
so..... genuinely convinced you are the reincarnate of shakespeare babe bc like:
"He would spend a considerably scant amount of time on such a task, yet fulfil it so thoroughly that the constant aching between your legs seemed more equitable than you would like it to be."
LOOK WHAT YOU DO WITH WORDS!!! like everything is so precise. i can tell there's so much thought put into every single word of this piece and woah.. the writing is fucking stellar, seriously. like just the words you use throughout this displays how the reader feels about being vulnerable with joonie: cruel, vengeful, venomous. u put pwp but like you characterized the fuck out of this reader and it's so good...
also... this is thee kim namjoon. like as someone who is v much similar to the reader and self sabotages relationships, ppl who love you enough to recognize that trait and do their best to prove u wrong
Tumblr media
AND YOU DID THAT ALL THROUGHOUT THE FLITHIEST NASTIEST SEXIEST SMUT EVER PLS HE'S SO HOT LIKE HE TRULY JUST WANTS TO MAKE HER FEEL GOOD INSIDE AND OUT AND IM GATEKEEPING HIM!!!! this was so so so beautiful and thank you for sharing with plebeians like me :') <3
Tumblr media
the one where jin is drunk off his face and you get friend-zoned - @indgio (ksj x reader | fluff, crack)
saf everything you write just comforts my soul. it's missing jin hours around these parts and this is exactly want i needed. i don't know how to explain it but this gives me run episode vibes? like... this is legit kim seokjin. I COULD TOTALLY PICTURE HIM DOING SOME SHIT LIKE THIS LMAO WHAT A SWEET BABY!
also love this oc fr. like from the opening paragraph i could already tell she's the most adorable, most precious being, and you proved it throughout the rest :') <3 taking care of ur drunk partner trope will never not get me and you did it so splendidly ugh will definitely be coming back to this when im sad and 3am and missing my seokjin :'( thanks for this ily <3
"tell me more about this girlfriend of yours."
but jin looks at you with a frown, as he downs the water. "no. get your own."
^also for whatever reason this took me tf out lmao
Tumblr media
the one where jungkook will always protect you, even from the fictional - @indgio (jjk x reader | fluff, humor)
bby istg your writing is so... refreshing? like i always think i need these super crazy, convoluted, heavy plots for my fics to be good, but your writing is proof that doesn't have to be the case. your writing is so effortless, yet so beautiful. like once again, genuine comfort content that i don't see too much of anymore. going through your masterlist has really inspired me to take a new avenue, because your fics are just so fucking addicting. i just love the slice of life vibes so much uGh okay enough nutting over u and onto the fic sehfbjsehbdhwb
pov ur saf in my brain BC THE AMOUNT OF TIMES IVE DAYDREAMED ABOUT THIS EXACT SCENARIO IS MENTAL ILLNESS (was just picturing binge watching AOT w him :'))
Tumblr media
this jungkook is such a golden retriever ass boyfriend my heart can't take it. the banter ?? the protectiveness ?? THE BITING THE EAR ??? naur im in love it's settled. adding him to the list of fav jungkook portrayals on tumby. will be thinking about him when im bored in the back of my lecture tomorrow. thank you for daydream fuel <3

---
At this point, she was either going to vomit or pass out. She had to keep the car in cruise control or else she likely would have been caught speeding 45 ticks above the speed limit. Not that it helped all the thoughts running through her head. No, no- this seemingly slow pace to the family house only made her thoughts run faster.
She really had just packed all his things and left them on the porch. Shit. Shit. Shitshitshitshit. The phone buzzing beside her made it worse. She'd reach over to turn it off, but at this point she couldn't trust herself with anything. The only thing she had was the path back to Oswald's house. Muscle memory could lead her when her brain hated everything else she did.
This is what you get. This is what happens when you let people get close. This is what you deserve you stupid, compulsive, heartless, abusive…
She almost crashed into the garage door. She didn't even turn the car off as she got out of the vehicle.
“Let me in!” Sabrina demanded as she pounded on the garage door. “I know you're home! Let me in you bas-!”
Sabrina jumped back as the door started to open. She waited just long enough to duck under than wait until it had rolled all the way up. (She almost fell over in doing so. Her body moving far too quickly for her panicking brain.) She didn't know who opened it, and at the moment she didn't care. All the world could have gone to shit, but she would always have Oswald's hobby room. A quiet place where she wasn't anything in this world. Where no one expected anything from her.
With a lot more force than she knew she had, Sabrina swung the door open and entered the room. The door behind her closed with a rather generous slam. And, in the safety of that room, that was when the tears came down her face.
Oswald had been in the hobby room. (Of course he would be, this was his private space before sharing it with Sabrina.) The sudden noise had made him jump. He swung his chair around to grumble about people leaving him alone before he saw Sabrina there. Seeing her in distress immediately made his heart sink.
“Sabrina?” he questioned, immediately getting to his feet. “What are you-?”
For a moment, Sabrina just stared at him- as if she couldn't recognize that he was there. When she did move, she gripped the side of her head and let out an ear piercing scream. She continued to scream as she went down to her knees.
“I fucked up.” she started to wail. “I'm not a good kid. I fucked up. I can't… I'm not…!”
She let out another scream. This one reached a pitch so high that her voice cracked. Oswald didn't waste another second; he quickly went over to her, in a smooth motion taking an old afghan blanket with rippled light blue, dark blue, and faded pink lamb wool from the couch, then draped the blanket over her shoulders in record time. Sabrina clung to the edges of the blanket out of habit. She didn't feel any better. If anything, she started crying harder.
“Breathe, princess.” Oswald tried to tell her as calm as he could. “Just breathe...”
“I can't.” Sabrina continued to wail. “I can't. I can't, I can't, I can't!”
“Princess, you're safe.” her old man tried to soothe. “It's okay. You can do this, just breathe. Just breathe, princess. I've got you. I've always got you.”
How Oswald got her back to her feet again was a mystery she definitely didn't have the head space to solve. All Sabrina could really comprehend was that one moment she was at the door, then the next she was laying on the long velvet couch Oswald had in the hobby room. It didn't take long for her tears to create a wet spot where she laid. She didn't care. At this point, nothing else mattered. She was tired, and angry, and stupid, and destructive, and-
“Ease your thoughts Sabrina, it's alright.” Oswald softly said to her. Some primal instinct from yesteryear made her comply almost instantly. “I'm here with you. You're under the blanket now. Just get some rest and ease your mind. You're safe here. You're always safe here. I won't let anyone hurt you. You know I wouldn't.”
Sabrina gave a nod, although she wasn't quite aware of it, and did as she was told. She was too tired to fight now. This wasn't a time to fight. What was she fighting against? Who was she running from? Her mind drew a blank as she went into a dreamless sleep.
When she woke up again, her head was pounding in her skull and Fred Astaire was singing to Audrey Hepburn about how much he loved her funny face. Also, her arm was asleep because she had been laying on it. That probably wasn't very good. Sabrina grunted as she tried to rearrange herself to get a look around the room. She wasn't going to lie, she almost didn't recognize where she was for a moment. She shrunk a little at seeing Oswald at his work desk. He didn't seem to notice that she was awake yet. Time to change that.
“The world went to shit when I got too big to cover my whole body with this blanket.”
“Princess,” Oswald said, forcing out a short laugh but not turning to face her yet, “You and I both know the world was shit before that.”
Sabrina scoffed. She placed her mouth on the couch's arm rest as she tried to recollect her thoughts. When she remembered why she was here, she flinched.
“Do I have to tell you what happened now?”
“You're under the blanket. It's your call.”
“Oh thank god.” she sighed in relief. She looked back up to ask, “Am I allowed a painkiller?”
“Already laid one out for you.” he affirmed. He got up from his desk and went to the table where the TV sat. Sure enough, there sat a white pill and a glass of water. Sabrina tried to work herself up, her balance proving to be more skewed as well. She hated this dizziness. Once she took the pill, she immediately laid back down with a grunt. She looked up at Oswald with a face that well detailed how much she hated being vulnerable.
“So...” she offered, “How much did you guys like Ven again?”
Oswald cocked an eyebrow at her. “What happened?”
Sabrina groaned as she rolled onto her back. “I'm just going to preface this by saying that I was already peeved.”
“Of course you were.”
“I get no respect in this house.” the woman mused, even draping an arm over her forehead in exasperation. It was only a moment's reprieve before she got serious again. “We were supposed to be having dinner at his dad's house, and his dad… Let's say I'm not a fan. I can count how many times we've had a conversation on my hand, and not a single good memory associated with any of them.”
“Fair enough.”
“So his old man greets us, starts idle chit-chat that sounds a lot like diabolical scheming, and I go to the bathroom for some breathing room. And then I… I left him there.”
That made Oswald shift in place. “You left Ven at his dad's house?” he repeated, just to make sure he heard it right.
“Yeah...” she groaned. “And honestly? After I got into his car, everything just started to blur together. I don't think I've been angry enough to blackout since...” she trailed off, unsure of when she last got that mad. It must have been ages from what she could gather. Oswald had a similar feeling too.
“You know,” Oswald told her, “I have an idea, and you're probably going to hate it. How much time off do you have?”
There was a grunt, then a stubborn response of, “Dunno. Too much, probably.”
“Hand me your phone, I'll find out for you.”
Sabrina gave her old man a skeptical side glance. She just as easily let out an annoyed sigh.
“Do I even have my phone?” she grumbled to herself. “I think I left it in the car.” She thought about it some more, flinched, then added, “It might still be running. Whoops.”
“How dare you contribute to greenhouse gases.” Oswald lightly teased. He bent down to give her a gentle peck on the forehead. “I'll be back. Just relax and watch the movie. Feel free to throw something when 'Let's Kiss and Make Up' starts playing.”
Sabrina nodded, easing into the couch with a low groan. But as Oswald opened the door to leave, a thought came to her that made her heart ache.
“I want him here.” she admitted- her voice so small that Oswald almost missed it. “I want him to just hug me, and lay down with me, and just… just be there. No talking, just…” She couldn't finish her thought. Instead, she buried her face in her arms again and refused to move. Oswald took one last look at her. He sighed, then carefully shut the door behind him.
. . .
He wasn't really that surprised to find that the car had been turned off. Oswald was honestly more surprised that the doors weren't locked. Sabrina's phone had been left in the passenger seat. Figuring he could delay the inevitable a bit longer, Oswald took the phone and started his way back inside. He didn't notice that Brain was waiting for him inside the garage.
“What did he do to her?”
Oswald nearly cursed before turning to face Brain.
“It's fine.” he said to the obviously very unnerved brother. “She just needs to relax and take things a step at a time now.”
“No it's not fine.” Brain snapped, taking a step forward. “Oswald, you don't understand. The last time I heard her scream like that, she was seven and thought that the world was better off without her. She thought her existence was a mistake. Do you know how terrifying it is, to only be five years older than her, and not know if the next time you turned your back, she'd do something so reckless that you couldn't help? Before you took us in, school was an absolute nightmare for me. I couldn't stop thinking about her. I couldn't stop being scared for her. Do you not know how hard it is to be her brother, her parent, and only confidante?”
Oswald averted his eyes. “No, I don't.”
Brain glared at his adoptive father. Fury glinted in his eyes as his fists clenched so hard that his knuckles were turning white.
“I'm going up there.”
“You are not.” Oswald immediately told him. He even moved to be in Brain's way for good measure. “I made a promise to her the first day I took you two in, and I will not let you break that now. That room is one of the only respites she has from herself. You will let her rest, and when she's ready, she's going to be staying with you if she doesn't go back home. Do you understand me, Blaine?”
The look of utter contempt on Brain's face left no doubt the resemblance he had to his sister.
“Yes sir.” he darkly agreed.
The two protective males continued to stare each other down for a rather long amount of time. Oswald was the one to relent, although it was to unlock Sabrina's phone and locate the number for her workplace. Brain remained where he was. But in trying to assess how angry he was, he just couldn't. He wasn't angry for Sabrina- he was scared. Moreover, there was one thing he was sure of as he looked up the staircase leading to the hobby room.
Ventus meant a lot more to Sabrina than what she let on, and that was an unfortunate shame.
