All the years of of the ATLA fandom favoring Zuko & Iroh over the GAang trio has payed off cause after watching NATLA season one, I've concluded the show writers definitely fleshed them out so much the dynamics of the Fire Nation Royal Family more than the original did in its s1.
And OZAI?!
OH MY GHAD, OZAI!!
Bloody Worst Parent of the Century OZAI from ATLA actually became more than the one dimensional faceless Big boss Aang needed to defeat by the end of the show. (Idk how to feel about that btw. Very conflicted on this)
And the conquering of Omashu by AZULA...
Power move girl.. Just please dont be too harsh on dear ol Bumi.
So really, my only complaint is that its only 8 episodes long when season 1 of ATLA was 20 episodes but I get it. Gotta do what works
And Boy, did they work. Everyone that work on this show, I mean.
Final words, my opinion of the show sums up to
"Love the additions, peeve about the changes, wish it was more than 8 episodes"
PS: Please more of Katara, Sokka and Aang. I need the kids cast for the main trio to shine more.
I love Zuko to death but those three are the core of Atla. You did great netflix but you can still do better. Renew for S2!! Thank you for reading me rant!

okay since my inbox is filled to the brim with this topic so i guess i should address it for once so we can all move on.
this is not the end. bts is not disbanding. this is just a break. a brief pause. a bit of change from the usual. it is just something bts themselves need for their artistic character development. for their growth as individuals. so that they can explore themselves more and find their true inspiration. no one said that they're gonna quit everything and it was the last time we saw them together. they're still lifelong friends and colleagues who love and appreciate each other as much as a group of individuals with contrasting personalities can. they're closer than ever. this is not the end of everything. the memories we all lived with them are still there. all the happy moments, all the content, everything is still where it always was and will always be. they're still gonna make music and release new content and come online to talk to us and flirt with each other under their instagram posts. nothing has changed, they're still the same. they are just taking some time apart to develop into a better version of themselves and if u love and appreciate them then i know u will support them in this journey wholeheartedly. again, bts is not done yet. they're gonna come back so much more powerful than ever and i cannot wait to see that happen.

the fragile thing is hope
everything else will keep, i think. i survive, though living is hard. i must not consider not caring for my health in the meantime.
guttering. there isn't enough to go around. the fear feeds itself.
inevitably i will be okay. i just need to salvage what i can when i can, now. it's a dire outlook, yes. it's true that I'm not meeting external standards. or internal standards. it's also true that this is my first real foray back into- functioning. the short ones don't count; the medium one also experienced faltering.
I'll say it again, bravery is the most difficult thing i ventured out to learn. i fear so much and struggle to meet that tide.

making fun of americans is pretty much always ok if youre not doing it in an edgelord “you guys have so many school shootings” way or acting like we’re the only country that has racism. but like posts about americans and hamburger get me every time

yknow AI art has ruined an entire genre of painting to me, i saw one of those smooth anime-realism pieces and immidiately thought ''ugh, AI art'' until i noticed it was posted by an established deviantart user 6 years ago. like ive never been a huge fan of that genre but it looks like a pretty difficult style to master and i feel bad for the artists who specialized in anime-realism only to have their entire market jacked by people typing keywords into midjourney.

This starts out as a nice gesture, then quickly becomes absolutely ridiculous.

One of many pieces of information rarely discussed that has stuck with me in studying the Holocaust in a literacy class is that people who survived the death camps often did not survive starvation. It is very difficult for a severely malnourished body to recover from starvation. A severely malnourished body will struggle to process food at all, and many people die in the process of “refeeding.” This is called refeeding syndrome for this reason. Reintroducing food can and often is fatal without careful, medical guidance.
Starvation is one of the most common and effective forms of genocide. What makes it effective is that past a certain point, even if aid has been delivered, it is not enough to save someone from death by starvation. What also makes it effective is that withholding food is viewed as a passive consequence of political turmoil rather than an intentional act of violence among a people. You will see more people die from starvation in genocides across history because it is an effective way to kill many people without the use of state resources.
The starvation of Gaza is intentional. The United States and Israel may gesture that they are delivering or allowing aid into Gaza, but in reality they are active participants in the starvation of Gaza by destroying medical infrastructure, limiting the amount of aid “allowed” in, and blocking aid trucks from entering. Throwing food into Gaza by airdrop at this point in the genocide will not be enough without medical infrastructure to refeed a severely malnourished population. Many will die anyways. Many have already.

they should invent a new type of "staying in bed for 2-3 hours after you wake up repeatedly opening and closing apps on your phone" where it makes you feel awesome and energized and emotionally fulfilled

I’d just like to acknowledge that South Africa wouldn’t have such a strong case without the work of the journalists, both alive and martyred, on the ground in Gaza supplying the world with firsthand information about the genocide and that they deserve thanks for it.
