replaying the moment from dinner, he swore he saw red. which wouldn’t have happened if he was over you, right?

some of the strawhats had joined sanji in the kitchen before dinner, maybe because of the savory scent that was hard to resist. and of course, luffy was one of those individuals.

zoro doesn’t recall paying much attention to the conversation at the table. he never really does if he’s being honest.

“guys,” you call, bursting in through the galley door.

the sound of your voice is what drew him in, his good eye flicking open to where you were standing in the entry way.

“i think its going to start to snow soon!” you beam, earning enthusiastic uproar from those in the room. zoro can’t hold back a smile when your ardor is for something so ridiculous as snow.

as usual, luffy springs from his seat, eager to see the weather change when nami interrupts him, gaining everyone’s attention.

“hey, luffy! look what’s above you two!”

as you and your captain stand in the doorway, everyone’s eyes travel to reveal the bright green mistletoe hanging above you.

zoro can now hear his thrumming heartbeat, immediately recognizing the symbolic meaning behind the plant.

“that’s mistletoe,” you inform luffy, who seemed just as confused despite the explanation. the captain proceeds to ask a bunch of questions including who did it get there and could he eat it, the standard luffy inquiry.

never had zoro been so aggravated with luffy’s clueless nature.

“that means you two have to kiss. that’s tradition anyway,” nami teases, wiggling her eyebrows at you. playful laughter fills the air while you watch luffy’s face attempt to comprehend the situation.

“well if that’s what that means,” he shrugs, turning to you with a big grin.

of course, he’s not taking this seriously.

the veins in zoro’s forehead feel like they’re about to pop, luffy gets to kiss you and he’s making a joke of it?

time feels like it’s starting to slow down as luffy leans in, going in to place a peck on your cheek. but you’re too busy laughing with nami to realize this and as soon as your head turns, your lips meet his.

your lips only brush for a couple seconds before the two of you realize what had happened, but it feels like an eternity before either of you pull away.

everyone starts to laugh, taunt and teasing the two of you like a middle school couple, but to zoro it’s like the personified version of his worst nightmare.

luffy wraps an arm around you, dragging you with him to return to his original goal of watching the fresh snow fall.

conversation continues as normal, meanwhile zoro sits at the end of the table pretending that his heart wasn’t just ripped out of his chest.

so now that he’s in the crow’s nest, supposedly watching over the ship, all he can think about is you.

did luffy notice your sweet scent as he leaned in? were your lips supple and soft as always or had you changed your chapstick? more importantly, did either of you enjoy it?

what would you have done if it was zoro who was standing there? would you have kissed him? laughed it off like it meant nothing to you?

he didn’t know, but he couldn’t help but desperately want to.

movement out of the corner of his eye snaps his attention away. the light from the galley shines through the slim crack underneath and it’s enough for him to huff and head in that direction.

“alright luffy—“

you jump at the sudden noise, but it seems the swordsman is much more surprised to see you here.

“sorry zoro, just getting some water. i’m leaving right now,” you softly smile, wiggling your glass as proof.

his throat runs dry now that you were standing in front of him. but your movements are agile, too quick for him to strategically access his next move before you’re almost out the door.

zoro reaches out for your hand, taking a tight hold on you and preventing you from leaving.

you pause, letting out a gentle sigh before turning around to face him. “need something?” you ask, staring at your connected hands rather than his face.

there was nothing running through his head as you finally glanced up at him. the light in your eyes had been replaced by foreboding sadness. and he knew why, as he was the one who caused the two of you to break up.

“you didn’t have to kiss him earlier, you know,” he says in a low, gruff tone.

you pull your hand from his, eyes slowly squinting towards him. “i know…” you wearily respond, face twisting into a frown. “…i can make my own decisions, thank you.”

zoro nods. “but you didn’t have to,” he reiterates focusing on the point that is was your decision.

“why does it matter to you? you’re the one who broke us up.” you nearly yell, almost forgetting that the rest of your crewmates were asleep.

“i shouldn’t have done that, i know that now,” he admits, reaching out to you.

your poise changes as zoro is unusually delicate when he holds your hand. “please,” he begs, thumb smoothing over your skin, “just one more chance.”

the sigh that erupts from your body is one full of pain, a heavy burn throbbing through your lungs.

that was the thing about zoro, you could read him so easily. the way his brows lift in their inner corners, how his usually tensed muscles loosened the second he touched you, he was being sincere.

you glance up to the decoration you found yourself under earlier in the day. this little plant was really what tipped him over, it’s almost funny.

“we can discuss this in the morning,” you comply, leaning up to place a light kiss on his cheek, lips hovering against the skin, “that okay with you?”

he can’t help but smile as he agrees, “yeah, that’s good.”

Zoro X Sanji: Prince Charming

Remember those posts I have been posting on here regarding Sanji and what type of men he likes? Might as well turn this into a fanfic. A one shot perhaps. This applies more to OPLA! Sanji. Warning: Sanji is gonna be extremely uncensored and vulgar here.

Zoro stands by the deck, carefully observing the rest of the crew. Or rather observing a certain cook. Till this day, he finds him to be quite an enigma.

Not much is known about Sanji other than the little that the man reveals about himself. The guy is a mystery. No matter how hard Zoro thinks he is closer to the truth, the cook keeps surprising him and taking him off guard.

Sure, he is still an annoying flirt around women. Well, seeing him get close to the ladies pisses him off. But the guy is a great cook and is also good-looking. Does not help that he has a nice round ass. That alone begs the question; is he a virgin? Surely someone with a beautiful ass like that must have gotten fucked a few times. He feels he may be an innocent virgin and just flirts around, begging for someone to take his virginity.

Aside from that sinful ass, there are those legs. Gorgeous yet deadly when you rub him the wrong way. He still finds himself getting curious about the guy. Who exactly is the cook? What secrets is he hiding?

“Interested in Sanji huh?” He nearly jumps up as Law joins him at the deck. “I gotta say, Luffy made a great choice with this guy.” Law says with a smile as he watches Sanji laugh at something Usopp said.

Zoro just rolls his eyes. “Why him when the safety of the crew comes first?” Before he could say anything further, he swore that he saw from the corner of his eyes the cook staring at him with a mischievous glint in his eye, giving him a playful wink. Oh no….

Law sees this and snickers. “Dude I think he likes you.” he says. Zoro snorts. “Yeah right.” Maybe he does because now that he thinks about it, Sanji often riles him up just to get his attention and does that in a flirtatious way. Maybe, just maybe the cook likes him.

Later that evening, the crew plus Law gather round for dinner. “You know Sanji, I have always been curious.” says Usopp. All eyes fall on Sanji who raises an eyebrow.

“About what Usopp?”

“Now, if you were to date a guy, what sort of guy attracts you?” Zoro literally choked when he heard that. Sanji blushes slightly and giggles. Everyone pays attention to Sanji now because now that they think about it, does Sanji even like men?

“I like the bad boys because they can be mysterious but they can be so sexy and fun. He needs to have a soft and warm kind heart and I love it when they have muscles. All the things I could do to him. Watching a man work out turns me on. Oh and if he has a massive dick, extra fun. Just saying all that makes me horny.”

Jaws dropped at that revelation. Who would have thought that Sanji could be perverted? Let alone spill the tea on his secret sexual fantasies like that? Nami and Robin giggle at this whilst Franky and Brook exchange looks.

"Did you hear that?" Law whispers to Zoro. "Why the fuck did he just fucking describe me?" Zoro replies in a hushed tone."But you always hang around women more and flirt with women more," says Usopp.

That is true. "True. But here is a little secret; women reject me but men show more interest in me." Sanji replies. Now that was a huge bombshell no one expected.

"No way!!" Usopp exclaims. Nami and Robin gasped.

"Whoa!!" says Zoro.

"He speaks the truth because I have been noticing how some men tend to look at him," says Law. "No wonder you told me that stuff earlier on," says Zoro as he sips some sake.

"I know it is weird but I speak the truth. Women find me…a little annoying and forward. Men seem to appreciate me more. And yet I cannot bring myself to fully commit to a man." says Sanji

"Why?" Now Zoro was interested. Why does Sanji want to commit to a relationship with a man yet chases after women who do not give a shit about him, save for a few exceptions?

A sad smile appears on Sanji's face. "Past experiences that I would rather not elaborate on for now." Zoro raises an eyebrow. Could it be that Sanji got abused by men in the past?

"Then why do you want a man now?" Usopp asked. "Because I believe in fairytales. Call me a hopeless romantic. Not that I want to hook up right away but I am just thinking of what a great romantic relationship with a man would look and feel like," says Sanji.

One cannot help but kind of feel bad for Sanji. At least they can now understand his behaviour. "Wait…so are you saying that the whole gentleman thing was an act?!" says Brook.

Sanji shakes his head as he sips some wine. "Wrong. Being a gentleman is still a part of my DNA. I will always be that unapologetic flirt and pervert. The difference is that I have multiple layers to me, parts that I ignored right up till this point."

"Multiple layers huh?"

Sanji glares at Zoro and smirks at him. "Classified information Marimo."

"Have you ever slept with a man before?" Franky asked.

A devilish smirk brightens up the cook's face, a facial expression that will continue to haunt Zoro all the days of his life. "Hell yes. Loads of times. Hell I have been gang banged before at the Baratie."

Zoro and Law’s eyes widen in shock at that revelation. So the cook is THAT wild?! "No way!!" Franky exclaims and chuckles. Robin laughs because she always suspected that Sanji was that naughty. Chopper, Luffy, Brook's jaws drop at that revelation. Usopp falls over laughing because he knew. Nami gasps because he did not realize how nasty Sanji actually was.

Sanji meanwhile lights a cigarette and acts as though he did not just say what he said."Do not be fooled by my looks. I can be naughty when I feel like it. I can literally go hardcore if I want to."

"Really? And how many guys banged you that day?" All eyes fall on Zoro at that question. So he was curious. Sani's smirk broadened. "About 10 of them."

Jaws drop at that one. "So you are that wild?!" says Zoro. Sanji grins mischievously, slowly gets up from his seat and makes his way towards the swordsman and leans down to his ear so that only Zoro could hear. "You wanna find out tonight?"

The entire crew snicker because they all knew just how much both men seriously wanted each other. Law nudges Zoro. "Go get him." he says to Zoro who sighs and then gets up and then hoists Sanji onto his shoulder. "Oh you are in a big trouble cook." Sanji giggles as Zoro drags him off to his room. Talk about an explosive beginning to a brand new chapter.

imagine s-crocodile shows up and they’re protective of luffy

I imagined it and I loved it (the post gets to S-Croc speculation towards the end, I swear)

I really can't wait to see S-Croc in general though, because while we haven't seen the other Seraphim like, just casually hang around, the little glimpses we have gotten at them have been really interesting, because of both the similarities and differences between the Seraphim and the OG Shichibukai

Like, as of chapter 1103, from what we've seen S-Bear has seemed Quite Stoic and quiet, very similar to Kuma as we first met him in Thriller Bark/Sabaody. S-Shark seemed very serious and quiet too but it's hard to compare him to Jinbei proper. Meanwhile, the way S-Snake got flustered and shy was quite similar to how Hancock behaves around Luffy, although in a much more child-like, cutesy manner. And S-Hawk seemed a bit more child-like as well, seemingly being a bit more open with his emotions? (Like for example he seemed quite annoyed about getting captured)

So it's kind of hard to say right now, but it does kind of seem like while the Seraphim ARE clones of the Shichibukai and they DO share the mannerisms of their "parents", they are also children. Like, while part of their stoicism could be chalked up to how they are Pacifistas, they are still like a step "above" the basic Pacifistas (pure robots). Like they're somewhere between the Pacifistas and pre-lobotomy Kuma. They don't have full free will, they are (fleshy) robots who can be programmed and ordered to do tasks, but also they do have that partial free will and mind. And that's all so incredibly interesting to me. Especiall because the remaining missing three Seraphim should be like the rest; they have the personalities of the OGs, but maybe lack their maturity in some ways because the Seraphim are still kids. They may be more open and/or less filtered with their emotions and thoughts. Maybe. Again, kinda hard to tell rn because we've seen so little of the brats.

Based on that though, we can kinda make some guesses on what the remaining Seraphim might be like though. S-Mingo especially because we have the benefit of knowing what Doflamingo was like as a kid to begin with, and I doubt S-Gecko will have any surprises in store for us.

But S-Croc is so interesting. Because he could go either way. Like he could be stoic and serious much like S-Bear and S-Shark, as lowkey suggested by his calm expression in that one panel we saw. That would match how Crocodile has been On Average post-Alabasta too. But what if he was more like Alabasta!Croc? When he was much happier and like, openly jovial? But in a child-like way? Or a mix of both because people are complicated and stuff sdjfhsf

The reason I'm bringing that up at all is that like. Okay so I don't think S-Croc would be protective of Luffy by default. Like Crocodile himself wasn't protective of Luffy when they first met by a long shot, and arguably still isn't canonically (his actions in Marineford are, rn, canonically just petty revenge at the World Government), so it'd make no sense for S-Croc to take one look at Luffy and be like "nobody hurts this one" right away, right?

But. Could S-Croc BECOME protective of Luffy?

...Unless S-Croc did turn out to be a Crocodile Zoan with that Weird Zoan Instinct and Crocodad Real, in which case S-Croc being randomly protective of Luffy right from the get-go would work just fine. But this remains to be seen ((To be fair, it did take Hancock time to get her crush on Luffy while S-Snake went 0 to 100 with Luffy, so maybe there could be a chance for S-Croc to be protective by default. ...Unless Luffy just happened to be Hancock's type to begin with and it was just her trauma that kept her from immidiately crushing on the idiot at first glance, while S-Snake doesn't share Hancock's emotional trauma so she was able to jump straight into crushing on him))

And this is where we get to the Absolutely Wild, Off-The-Rails, Borderline Fanfiction Speculation. Because we're here to have fun, and it's fun to think about hypotheticals like this.

But as we know, Crocodile. Bit of a sad loner. He has trust issues. He has been hurt A Lot. Happily spends decades of his life by himself. Very tragic. This probably contributes to his stand off-ish demeanor. S-Croc could have that same demeanor. But he shouldn't have the same trauma, the same root cause to being a sour puss. And most importantly, because he's a child, he might be more emotionally "open". Like he could become more obviously upset about stuff, and he might be more receptive to people if they're nice to him. Maybe. Big big big maybe.

Another fun thing to note; S-Croc seems to have been dispatched away with S-Mingo and S-Gecko (wherever the fuck they're going (probs Emptee Bluffs but if they go there then we can't have him interacting with Luffy so we need to pretend that's not where they're going arrite)). This is important, because as we all know. Crocodile and Doflamingo Do Not Get Along. And if the real ones can't get along, I could not imagine their Seraphim being much better.

The thing is, it could be kind of worse with the Seraphim, actually;

Based on the single panel of him that we've seen so far, S-Mingo seems to just ooze Middle School Bully Energy (and even if he isn't one, Doflamingo had a thing for annoying the shit out of Crocodile, his Seraphim would probs be the exact same in that regard, right)

S-Croc could be pre-T

If so, and especially if Crocodile being trans isn't public knowledge (as then it'd be possible Vegapunk could've labeled S-Croc "a failed Seraphim")

-> S-Croc being "the wrong sex" (compared to the OG) could easily become a painful sore spot for S-Croc

Especially because if Crocodile's trans, then S-Croc would also probably be trans, and insist on being a boy

And boy fucking howdy, would that become an easy ass fucking way for S-Mingo to bully the shit out of S-Croc, in a way that could really get under S-Croc's skin in a really horrible way

So. You know.

I could totally imagine S-Mingo being an asshole and annoying the fuck out of S-Croc in a way that would lead into a straight up fight. Because they're kids, and may not have the maturity to not escalate shit, especially if one got openly upset (god knows Crocodile can't handle being humiliated as a grown ass man) and another was having the time of their life mocking the other. But of course, these are Seraphim we're talking about, they could just keep on fighting forever and absolutely wreck everything in sight if someone doesn't stop them/give them the orders to stop.

I'm not saying Luffy would like step in or anything (dude doesn't have the authority to boss the Seraphim around either, it'd have to be Vegapunk), like I don't think he'd care enough to try to stop the two from fighting (as long as they aren't putting anyone else and/or the Sunny in danger). But between Luffy defeating Doflamingo being a more recent event in his mind, and him kind of owing one to Crocodile, I could kind of imagine Luffy feeling slightly more inclined to take S-Croc's side. Like considdering Luffy loves and respects trans people, I could imagine him feeling a little bad for S-Croc. Just a little though.

But I think that could kind of become key here. 'Cause like, Luffy wouldn't have to do anything big to defend S-Croc or anything (he's a man, he can defend himself, if anything Luffy defending S-Croc would hurt his honor (shounen logic)). Just, calling S-Mingo an asshole casually, or choosing to hang out (or at least try to) with S-Croc, or something like that. Just Luffy showing the tiniest amounts of compassion and care, to make S-Croc feel a little less alone.

I think that could make S-Croc become a little protective of Luffy in turn.

One Piece Chapter 1087 - Initial Thoughts

And We Are Back!

5 long looooong weeks for Oda to acquire his eye surgery laser vision but now we can resume the Egghead arc well...everything but the Egghead arc it seems

Still we finally get a manga dose of One Piece so let's see what we have

An Ace cover page this time, shame we didn't do anything with the laser eyes but Ace and Capybaras make up for it

In the G1 shipyard there are two navy ships whose hulls are dented, apparently known as 'battleship bags' which Garp trains with

Jango and Fullbody are surprised that this is Garp's daily routine, but also that the second ship was Aokiji's!

Also these dents are caused by brute strength, no fruit or haki

Reminder too that Navy ship hulls nowadays are layered with Sea Prism, so I think this is the first instance we've seen of Sea Prism being weathered

I get that this dude has been present in the post TS Navy exposition but where's my man Bogard?

Back to Fullalead and Wolf is already in the drink

I mean Garp just tossed the mega-giant into the water like Thames Water dropping sewage

Vasco's next for the attack with a fireball

That's cold Garp, using the lesser pirates as a shield, but I guess since they're not your allies it's not morally ambiguous

Garp ain't even fazed either

Garp's fighting has managed to get all the slaves and marines back on the ship to escape

Oda my man, why did you bring Tashigi if you're not letting her do anything???

Coby, Helmeppo and Grus are fighting with Garp still, but the plan is to fall back

Aokiji's back and he didn't hear no bell

Garp gives the orders for the trio to leave while he holds ground, but Coby spots a woman in danger and jumps in to help

But Grus senses it's a trap, and he's right

Garp steps in but eats a stab from Shiryu!

Garp says the wound is nothing but Coby's still on the guilt

I wonder how Shiryu is bypassing haki? because Coby is known to have great Observation Haki, even sensing enemies below surface level

Cross Guild were foolish enough to bounty Garp? Seems that Crowns are worth 1 billion berry (how does Buggy, Crocodile or Mihawk have that kinda cash?) and Garp has 3, on par with an Admiral...and his otherwise absent grandson

The redshirts try to swarm Garp but Aokiji tells them they still wouldn't stand a chance

Mini flashback of how Aokiji became Garp's protege, turns out Aokiji insisted him into it

Young Garp definitely looks a lot like Luffy

So Kuzan was like 'I've learned everything the marines told me' but didn't know Haki? I thought all Vice Admirals knew it

Joint training led to Garp just venting at Kuzan about his family

"You have a habit of raising enemies" - well 'raising' is used loosely

Double punches from master and student sends both men flying

Now Pizarro starts gloating, taking aim at the escape ship

Pizarro's fruit does just feel like an advanced form of Pica's fruit

Pizarro being annoyed with Blackbeard being on the news is interesting, wonder if there's like a slight bit of dissent among the crew

Hibari, much like Coby, is annoyed that she couldn't help, but gets some reassurance from Kujaku

Garp is hopeful justice will prevail though, as we're left on a cliffhanger

It's good to be back

This chapter could've been a lot more action packed I feel, but I'm happy with what we got. Glad Aokiji showed more fight too, because making him look strong works for both Blackbeard and Akainu as well. Also kinda glad that the other Blackbeard members got involved, seemed weird that they would just spectate.

This is a point where Oda could easily move on to another plot section though, which I hope doesn't happen. But I'd also like Tashigi to do something impressive and if she can do something similar to Zoro's feat against Pica to save the ship that'd do pretty nicely. Realistically thinking there may be some navy backup, but we also can't rule out Perona and Moria getting involved, since Coby only escaped because Perona gave him the keys.

750 Followers Event

Wow, it’s been some time since I last did an event, hasn’t it?

Sabo: if you don’t count your 500 followers event, your last event was posted in May. 

Wow, yeah, it’s been a while. Time flies. Anyways, we’re at 750 followers, so here’s my milestone event! So over the years, I’ve collected writing prompts, scenarios, dialogue, all sorts of things to give me ideas for writing. I’ve chosen 20 scenarios, each scenario can only be used twice, I’ll update the list as we go. So pick a character, pick a scenario, and pick a dialogue prompt, then pick a secondary scenario, character, and prompt just in case I can't write the first one, and send it in!

Scenarios

She stood on the end of the pier, took a deep breath, and jumped into the freezing ocean. She was going to get answers, no matter what it took. [Reiju]

During a game of hide and seek you hide in the toy chest in the basement. After what seems like forever, and no one finds you, you decide to get out. You find the basement drastically altered and a layer of dust over everything. [Zoro] [Baby!Ace]

The hero shows up at the villain’s doorstep one night. They’re shivering, bleeding, scared. There’s also a slightly dazed look in their eyes-- they were drugged. They look like they were assaulted. Looking up at the villain, swaying slightly as they’re close to passing out, the mumble “... didn’t know where else to go…” then collapse into the villain’s arms. (doesn’t have to be hero and villain, can just be 2 rivals/enemies)[Killer] [Sabo]

The remains of the human race live in a glass dome with no entrance or exit, which protects them from the wasteland on the outside. One morning a dusty handprint appears on the outside. [Killer]

You and your partner bought rings that let you feel each other’s heartbeats. You couldn’t bear to take yours off when they were buried, it has just started beating again. [Kid] [Ace]

A is a talented pianist who meets B and offers to teach them how to play, unaware that B is already an equally talented pianist themself. B accepts so they have an excuse to spend time with A but gets discovered one day when A walks in on B practicing some high-level music.[Izou] [Sabo]

A is involved in some sort of accident. B finds out and rushes to the scene, calling A frantically. A doesn’t pick up, so B leaves A a series of voicemails as the race to the scene of A’s accident. [Ace] [Crocodile (not guaranteed, will try)]

Close but no Figar

Hit the bricks, it's 1086! And we have a lot of cool stuff going on. Wait til the end because an old theory I thought was jumping the gun might just pan out and it means big things for those with the Kiku-heavy portfolio. But first, sad news. We have a month hiatus. No matter. We'll find stuff to amuse ourselves with. I have ideas.

For now though, 1086. We're still away from Egghead, but well set with this chapter if the next wants to get us back. Or not, who knows? Oda I guess but he doesn't know if the new eye lasers will influence his perspective on the world. Chapter though. Starts with the "everybody stowaway" beat. Nothing new, said it with Pudding ages ago. Doesn't have to be, but fun parallel beat if we want someone other than Caribou hiding out on the Sunny.

Same idea here. Sabo caps off his story by giving us this noble lie example. The difference between the story and what happened. But him making use of it! Very intriguing. I'm also all about Miss Moda being front and center, Gung ho and ready to go. If you haven't gathered, I like sweeties who's hearts burn for justice. This is a pretty cool story woven into the bigger picture, these Lulusia revolutionaries could easily grow rapidly into a noteworthy force. Also gets a nice little parallel with Sabo inspiring his own equivalents to the Grand Fleet.

Don't underestimate this, it's Sabo showing he's learned the big lesson hiding in plain sight for Luffy. Command your story. Make the bad things into positives. While we're here with the Revolutionaries, seemingly wrapping up:

Just thought this was worth highlighting. More of that parallel storytelling, what we flesh out about Vegapunk through this breakaway seems like it has a high chance of being relevant to when we return to the main plot. Speaking of, think we'll get back to it when we come back from hiatus? Just feels natural. I do think this extended cutaway is long enough it's probably the ten, or part 3 of a kishotenketsu structure. Not to say it couldn't be an intermission, just the idea that we are coming full circle. We go seamlessly back to the flashback that started it all here, getting to the big reveal of the Gorosei. I mean, their names are cool and positions as well but it didn't catch my eye as much as...

At McDonaaaaaaaaald's...it's Mac Tonight! Seriously sir you look ridiculous and it's throwing me for a loop because nothing else about this scene is silly. Not my main man Mjosgard! Another crescent moon motif though which is interesting, but not as interesting as where we go from here. This is big to me because it's pushing us towards a theory people had from the first Holy Knights silhouette. One looked like Shanks kinda. Didn't buy it then, but we learned from Film Red material that Figarland means this d00d means something to Shanks. If nothing else, this hiatus gives me the opportunity to talk Film Red. I have...thoughts.

God Valley, a position this high, and the Nine Holy Knights? So...is Shanks's backstory something like a combination of Doflamingo's and Izo's? That's a big deal. It would play very nicely as a motivation we set up in Red Thread. Don't let it slip past you that Garling's words in this introduction, his ethos statement if you will, fits right in alongside Ryokugyu's and that whole caste bookend of Wano's. Just saying, the idea Shanks may have been hanging around when Kiku found out about Izo's decision had merit to begin with. This type of origin adds reason to do that. And I always try to be objective; tying in to Shanks is one of those things that can justify the focus using the unique aspects of Kiku in a way that plays nice with her odd role and ending. That said...there's one reason, one thing that comes into play you've probably heard before that works shockingly well if I'm right on both counts.

Please may I have a One piece kinda funny scenario of when Luffy and you (Sanji's teenage daughter who is a good cook and everything) went on a water boat ride and Luffy thought he was being a good captain and promised to protect you and everything when you are more than capable of looking after yourself because you are Sanji's kid. You were forced to come with him because your father and the others dealt with him enough today and to be practically made to come on a boat ride called "Monster Mansion"...you may as well as go into a dark tunnel which is exactly what this ride is involved in..it was fair to say that you felt reluctant about it when your captain actually got surprisingly spooked halfway through and start to cling to you like a lifeline when the atmosphere got unfriendly and you were unfazed about it despite how terrified Luffy was *cue the giggling from the riders who were entirely distracted by a terrified captain who was clinging onto you..you were understandably annoyed about it..he practically dragged you onto this boat ride and he was terrified of this boat ride?!*

(How it came to this to give you more insight. The crew decided to do something fun as a good break from fighting enemies and you decided on a waterpark and it seemed fun and so everyone agreed..and of course Luffy caused enough trouble to last a lifetime and no one wanted to watch him today and you had to. That was how you ended up coming on the monster mansion boat ride with him)

Bonus: How would the other crew members and your Dad react to a terrified Luffy clinging onto you after the ride was over and you were practically forced to carry him for some reason.

The Leader of the Monster Trio is Scared of the Monster Mansion?

The Strawhats needed a break.  So what’s a better way to relax than a water park?  That’s right, nothing!  The day you all picked was perfect.  It wasn’t excruciatingly hot and there were no clouds in the sky.  There was something for everyone here today.  There were bright pink and orange lounge chairs for Robin and Nami to lay out and tan on.  Of course, there were sweets for Chopper, cola for Franky, and booze for Zoro.  Your dad, Sanji, brought food for everyone.  However, he spent a ton of time trying to get Luffy away from it before he ate it all.  And for you there were rides!  You were an adventurous teenager, so you were set to go.  But, there was one ride you weren’t sure about, the Monster Mansion.  You weren’t necessarily scared, but it still made you a little uncomfortable going on it.  “Zoro,” you asked, “can you come on this ride with me?”

“No, ask your dad or something,” he answered without hesitation, each word dripping in annoyance.

You sighed, “I already asked him.  He said no.  Everyone said no!”

“I did say no,” you turned around to see Luffy pointing to himself, “I’ll protect you.”

“See, take Luffy.  He’s been enough trouble for the world, let alone us.  Go with him.  He’s now your problem.”

“Sure,” you said to Luffy, just before glaring at Zoro.  You finally realized why your dad hated him.

You and Luffy arrived at the entrance of the ride.  Luffy placed his straw hat on your head, trying to make you feel better.  It was just going to be you two on the ride.  You two were strapped in, and the ride began.  “See it’s not bad at all,” your captain said to you with the biggest smile.  The ride continued and you were unfazed by everything.  Why did you think it was so bad?  About halfway through the ride, something jumped out, and you felt someone wrap their arms around you, clinging to you.  You looked to your right and saw Luffy, scared.  You started laughing hysterically, this boy fights sea kings and warlords completely unfazed and some water park ride scares the boy.  The rest of the ride was just like this.

You exited the ride, with Luffy still clinging to you.  You walk back over to the rest of the crew.  Sanji is the first to see you, “how was it Princess?”

“Well dad, it was fine for me but I think Luffy hated it,” you say pointing to Luffy.  Everyone started to laugh.

“Are you kidding me Luffy,” Zoro asked yelling at Luffy, “some little ride scared you?  How is someone who isn’t afraid of death afraid of something like that?”

“Shut up,” Luffy whined, taking his hat from your head, “it was scary.  You’d be scared.”

The two kept arguing for a few minutes.  Nami and Robin walked up to you.  “I guess it looks like the leader of the monster trio can’t handle the monster mansion,” Nami said.  Robin chuckled a little before brushing her dark hair behind her ear.

“Come on guys,” you interrupted everyone, “let’s eat.”

Everyone got up and headed to the picnic tables to eat.  The day was a success, but Luffy will probably never suggest a water park for a relaxation destination ever again.

Week in Review

Sunday

Week 4 of missing Cipher Academy.

So they’ve gone the realistic route with Girl Meets Rock, huh? I can dig it – as a female tenor I can relate to Hatocchi having a more unique voice. I imagine they’ll grab guitar guy to complete their band, which would be interesting because I’ve never really seen a co-ed band for this kind of story. There’s also the possibility that guitar guy will dump the girl he’s currently dating and she’ll quit his band and join this one as some way of getting revenge on him, but I don’t remember what instrument she plays so who knows. Her design was just too distinct to not take note of.

Undead Unluck is peak as always, and I’m excited to see what new developments can come out of this revelation. It’s cute that Top’s new outfit looks so tokusatsu.

It’s so wonderful to see RuriDragon return. Like everyone else, I was compelled by its down-to-earth writing and lovely dimensional inking, so I’ve been patiently waiting for its return for almost two years now. I’m glad to hear that the mangaka is doing better, and that Jump is giving them the space to do things at their own pace. Story-wise, it still feels like we’re just building up to something, so I don’t have much to say yet.

It’s kind of hilarious watching everyone freak out over Oshi no Ko. Personally, I really don’t think they’ll go there, as Oshi no Ko has the tendency to pull its punches when it counts (having Ruby and Kana resolve their fight almost right away, having the guy taking Kana to his apartment be an actually decent person, undercutting most serious moments with a comedic turn, etc), but it’d be funny and interesting if it does.

Dandadan 142: God I love Mai’s stupid big head turtle design so much, and seeing her fight with Turbo Granny is hilarious.

Chainsaw Man pretty crazy.

One Piece also getting pretty crazy. It’s nice seeing some old friends again, and Luffy’s Looney Tunes antics are fun. I really hope nothing stops Vegapunk’s message, but I wouldn’t put it past Oda to give us something tantalizing before cutting it off prematurely.

Awww it’s so cute to get a prom chapter from SpyFam. I love seeing everyone in formal wear, and it seems we’re about to get some more Damian/Anya development, which I’m always excited for. Also nice to see that Anya does have other boys interested in her as well.

I did some more reading today, and watched Aqours’ Dreamy Concert as I did so. It was pretty cute but nothing special, just them going through the group number hits. There was a funny moment with Aikyan and Rikako in there, though.

Monday

I read Briar’s Book by Tamora Pierce this morning, and was crying by the end of it. The Circle of Magic series is hands down one of my favourite book series of all time, ever since I first picked it up from my local library as a kid. I love the world and its characters with my entire heart, and it’s been such a balm for the soul to revisit the books over the past year. I’d put off reading Briar’s Book, as it was the last in the quartet where the four kids are still together and I couldn’t bear that time coming to an end, but I’ve been craving something good to read so I finally pulled it off my shelf. Even as a kid this was my favourite book, as it featured my favourite character and the interesting challenge of an epidemic (not so interesting now, due to recent years…parts of the books definitely gave me flashbacks). But I loved reading about how Emelan deals with the crisis, especially in the latter half where Briar and Tris work under Crane (it was so cathartic to see Crane begrudgingly admit their usefulness). And the final scene showcasing the strength of the love between the kids and their mentors was the one that made me cry. There’s just so much warmth and love woven into the very foundations of this book series, and I love love love it. The only downside was how the kids were mostly off doing their own thing in this book – I was hoping for some more cute found family scenes of them all together before they go off on their own adventures in the next books, but I guess seeing them on the roof together one last time was enough.

In another “finally finishing the last instalment of a series” moment, I’ve finished watching Kizumonogatari: Reiketsu. It was pretty good – the fight was fantastic and super kinetic, of course, but I also liked Hanekawa trying to pull Araragi back from the brink and Araragi interrogating his own naivety and contradictions. There’s also something there about how relationships form out of hurting one another, and Kiss-shot’s motivations feel complex and understandable. After everything they’ve gone through together, it’s really hard not to ship Araragi and Hanekawa, but I’m also looking forward to seeing Senjougahara and the others again now that I can continue with the anime series. I hate that Kizumonogatari is split up into three parts because giving each part its own rating feels like splitting hairs (which I’ll have to do for Letterboxd…sigh) but as a whole I’d say I’d give Kizumonogatari a 7/10.

Tuesday

Today’s reading is The Fairy-Tale Detectives by Michael Buckley, yet another series from my childhood that I’m revisiting. It has a strong premise – it’s inherently fun to see familiar fairy tale characters in a modern context, and I think the central conflict that the Everafters have with the Grimms is something that is rife for drama and story. The three main kids all have strong personalities that work well off of each other, and I love how Peter Ferguson’s illustrations evoke that classic fairy tale style while also making everyone look slightly unhinged. This first book’s central mystery was simple but effective, with some twists in there to keep things from being too straightforward. I feel like the action scenes needed some work, though, as well as some of the dialogue (“I did that. And then this. Do you understand? So there.”), but it was a decent read. Not as good as something like The Mysterious Benedict Society, but not as rough as The Century Series either.

I watched Aqours’ 6th Live as I read, and watching it so soon after the Dreamy Concert really hammered home how they kind of stopped dropping new singles for the group (until Genjitsu no Yohane…but we’ll get there when we get there). I don’t know, I like their music, but did we really need to hear Koi ni Naritai Aquarium for the fiftieth time… I didn’t expect them to pull out the winter duo trio songs again, though, I’ll give them that. Misty Frosty Love makes me emotional every time…the way that their gazes never line up…the lyrics hinting at a bittersweet regret and inability to be honest with one’s feelings…the YouRiko of it all… At least we got some solo songs for the other legs of this tour, and Aqours Pirates Desire is always hype (the way Shuka looks in that outfit and with that flag…), but man Aqours needs some new songs (and more subunits songs please). OH MY GOD COTTON CANDY EI  EI OH IS SO SDJFKSLDFJKLDSF I love Dia being the doting older sister/manager/back-up dancer in the background, that’s so cute and funny.

Made instant ramen again for DunMesh Thursday, but only because there’s literally nothing left in the house (we’ll go grocery shopping tomorrow). I did add an egg though, because I realized that if I just crack it in and not stir the pot at all, the broth won’t get gloopy. The episode was pretty solid, with another cool moment for my boy Chilchuck, and it was fun to eat ramen while the gang ate pasta. After that was mostly set-up for the upcoming fight, but I like how it feels like a DND party preparing for a boss battle. Kui’s love for Western RPGs is so palpable in this series (unlike the slew of isekai operating on their vague ideas of fantasy, which boil down to “European town with monsters”). It looks like next episode will be the fight, and then episode 12 will be the aftermath, and I appreciate that they’ve lined things up so that the first half of the cour can actually have a climax and denouement.

Finished the last leg of Aqours’ 6th live tour today, and I wasn’t all that enthused. The solo songs were definitely the highlights: MOTTO-ZUTTO be with you was genuinely beautiful, Paradise Chime was so cute and fun (Shuka’s charisma is unmatched), and Meimei Tantei Yohane was INSAAAAAAAAAAAANE AIKYAN IS SOOOOO GOOD it was a good choice for her to become a center for Genjitsu no Yohane…her ability to go from typical anime girl sopranos to a deep dark alto is genuinely insane, she’s such an amazing performer.

What an absolutely nothing episode of Drag Race. None of the verses were particularly good to me, the Mhi’ya and Morphine beef just feels off-putting to watch, and I couldn’t make myself care about the lead up to the performance. And then the cherry on top was Plane Jane giving her potion to Nymphia in a move that feels like she’s just trying to buy likeability from the audience, only for it to literally not even matter??? At least the stupid chocolate twist had an actual pay-off at the end – in this season, both potions literally ended up being utterly inconsequential. This was such a weird bad episode, and the preview of next week’s challenge doesn’t give me much hope either.

"There is a person stranded on a boat let's help him out", The crewmates sigh, "You just want to save them cause you want them to pay berries" Usopp says, "Correct", She smiles. I listen closely to what she is discussing with them and give a sigh at her behavior then turn to see the boat moving and stopping while they place their boat next to mine. I look up and see a stretching arm grab me and pull me abroad. I catch my breath on horrifying just to be lifted up in the air, "Luffy, you idiot!!?", Nami grabbed luffy and started stretching his face, "If he would have died who do you thinks fault will be that! UH!" She yells, "I~m s~orry" He says improperly since his face is being stretched. She let go of his face and continued, "You better be!!" She turns her head and walks over to me, "Hi there my name is Nami" She smiles, "But since we saved you..." She smirks smugly,"You have to pay up", She puts her left hand on her hip and held her right hand out like she wants the money now and goes back to her fake smile. I sighed again and sat on the floor. Everyone looked at me curiously about why I was sitting on the floor. I put my hand on the floor and said, "Store-Store Storage", Then a portal opens up and surprise crosses the straw hats faces, "Gold" Then the gold jumped out of the portal and onto the deck. I grabbed the gold and sat up and gave her the gold, "Here", I sat back down and let my left hand rest on the floor and put my right hand on my stomach, "H-how did you do that!", Chopper says, "Awesome!!", Luffy says, "I have devil fruit powers nothing special" I say while lifting my self up and dusting off my clothes, "May I ask you about the name of your devil fruit powers?" Robin speaks while getting up from her chair, 'Should i tell her about it? Wait... How am I supposed to tell her about a fruit that doesn't even exist in the history book.....' , 'Well I will just tell her the devil fruit name in Gujarati but word form', "If i am being completely honest.....this devil fruit doesn't exist in the history book but it's name is Saṅgraha-Saṅgraha", The crewmates become confused, "That is all i can say about the devil fruit" I continued. I then leaned on the railing, "What type of language is that Mr...?", Nami spoke up, "It's a language that doesn't exist in this generation" I say calmly with my eyes closed, "..A language that doesn't exist...?" Robin says a little loud but quiet only for me to hear, 'I guess she seems confused', "....Mr....can you-" Robin gets cut off, "My name is Irmos. But friends, people, and close family members call me Yomi" I say with my eyes still closed, "Then...Yomi-san would you....join us?" She says. I widened my eyes and was left in thought, 'What!???.....why the heck would her out of all people want me to join!!????', 'Oh...right because she is curious and is desperately wanting to know about my devil fruit and the real history', I shook my head then looked around and saw everyone shocked too, "Not until i hear an answer from your captain", Everyone looked at Luffy. The boy smiles childishly, "Yes! He is Awesome and Mysterious!!" Luffy says then turns to the others, "If the captain is fine with it i am too", Zoro says, "I will gladly accept him since, he did after all give me gold", She smiles, "......She really is a walking money machine thief.....", Usopp says, "WHAT DID YOU SAY" She yelled, "EK! N-nothing!", He said nervously, "Let's celebrate our new crewmate with a party!!", Luffy grins and turns to Sanji, "Sanji! Sanji!", He jumps up and down excitedly, "I know, I know" he says and walks away and goes back into the kitchen. He comes out with food and drinks for everyone. He gives everyone their favorites, "Here you go", He says handing the last plate to me. I smiled and said, "Thank you", I look at him and he looked somehow hurt? Then i remembered that I have feminie looks that are quite similar to his mother so I whisper in a little voice, "It's okay, your strong", I smile a little more and walk away with my plate and a shocked Sanji.

god, he knows the break was mutual but why was it so hard to stay away from you. the break was supposed to let the two of you work and focus on yourselves but everywhere he goes he just thinks '(name) would love it here' or everything he sees he thinks 'she'd love that too'.

when the two of you were still together and not in a break, he'd blow off poor sabo's and luffy's ear gushing about you, now he'd vent about you and how he misses you.

when the nights were bad, he would overthink and doubt your relationship. a lot of couples taking "a break" usually completely breaks up.

"what if i'm just not worth it anymore? maybe i was overbearing or annoying. maybe she got tired of me and wants to break thing off without being direct...?"

he misses you badly his chest hurts. if he could, he'd run to your doorstep even if it was miles away just to hold you again.

he'd often see your posts on his instagram feed and honestly, he's just glad you seem to be doing well. ace promised himself that he won't stalk you as much to also focus on himself but... maybe just one vid? y'know to check up.

you didn't really talked much in your vlogs. it was mostly montages and vids of where you go or what you were doing. he binged watch your newly uploaded ones in one night.

usually, he's somewhere in your vlogs, mostly when you're at home and the two of you would eat or play together. it's been a few weeks and he wasn't there so a few people in the comments asked about with little to no response.

one morning, you uploaded a q&a video, addressing or answering assumptions or quetions. he put in on when he was doing his daily morning workout.

"gojoslefttoe asks 'did you break up with your boyfriend? he's not in your videos or posts lately'." when he heard the question, he stopped to focus on the video anticipating your answer.

"oh, my boyfriend! no, we didn't break up, we just took a break but we're good, i promise. i'd never break up with him, it's either he breaks up with me or we're never breaking." you giggled.

this made ace's heart melt. his doubts dissipitated into more love and trust, if that was even possible. he missed you badly, he misses your touch, your cooking, your voice, everything about you.

"then why'd you two took a break?" you read the following questions. ace was relieved you weren't avoiding the topic at all.

"well, as corny as it may sound, i wanted to work on myself more so we decided we'll mutually work on ourselves and take a break. " you scratched your head, a mannerism you have when you're perplexed.

"yeah, i do miss him. i could just jump in his arms right now. i don't know if he's watching this, but knowing my boyfriend, he probably is. i miss you ace, i hope i see you soon," you formed your hand to a heart and giving your heart stopping smile that made him fall in love with you before moving on to a different subject.

he didn't finish his work out.

ace definitely feels a lot better and more confident in your relationship now. it helped with his overthinking and he started working out on his self worth and outlooks in life.

he often comments 'i miss you's and 'can't wait to see you again' in your comments and you'd pin and like it. the thing that did it for him was when you start your intro with "hello everyone! and ace ^^" with a small heart.

he started gushing about you again to sabo and luffy. the two were relieved ace was back on his feet but sick of hearing about you. luffy would go out with his friends and sabo would go on dates with koala.

he would share your post to his story and tweets, it's honestly adorable. your videos were always on whenever he eats, clean, work out, play games, and before sleeping. the room would be dark and he'd be under this blanket with a smile on his face and screen on full brightness smiling as he watches you, mumbling 'i miss you' before drifting to sleep.

he can't wait to see you again. every day is a day full of smile and laughter whenever you're around, and he couldn't have wanted it any other way.

Luffy and Zoro in Wano so far (912 - 1010)

The first interaction that Luffy and Zoro had in the Wano arc is their re-union. It may not seem like a big deal cuz Oda-sensei made their hug just one tiny panel but I still think it is. This is the very first time in the manga that these two hug. The way Luffy jumps on Zoro’s shoulders is the same way he did when he saw his brother again in Dressrosa. More noticeably, Zoro’s smile when he recognizes Luffy is huge. He usually only smiles that widely when he gets booze or because of Luffy (examples #one and #two). Still, this is probably the brightest smile Zoro has ever had. Luffy smells the meat Zoro is carrying and when he asks about it, Zoro promptly gives it to him and says that Kuri is full of animals they can easily kill and eat. Luffy then explains to Zoro that the animals are all poisoned cuz they drink the contaminated water — while still eating said meat. The thing is, Luffy had the same thought Zoro did when he saw all the animals in the wastelands. And I find this reminiscent of when they saw all the weird fish around them on their journey down to Fishman Island or when they saw the dragon on Punk Hazard. In the Ocean, on Punk Hazard and also on Wano, the first thought that these two dorks had when seeing giant animals was the same; let’s eat them.

I can’t tell if the bottom left speech bubble is said by Luffy or by both of them. Either way, they continue to be of the same mindset. I think Oda-sensei very intentionally made Luffy share this fight and everything that follows with Zoro — cuz it wouldn’t have worked with anyone else from the Wano group (or from the whole crew, for that matter). They would have tried to stop Luffy from fighting and bringing too much attention to them and therefore, possibly jeopardizing the plan. Zoro is generally more level-headed (and cautious and skeptical) than Luffy but definitely not always. Oftentimes, he and Luffy think alike, mainly when it’s about confrontation or an injustice that they feel the need to correct (there are more examples of this during the Wano arc). I still remember that when this chapter came out, Oda-sensei’s note on top of this last panel was “After too long, a fight side-by-side!” Clearly, Oda-sensei knows how likeable and awesome he made this duo~

Luffy and Zoro’s fight against Hawkins gets cut short cuz Otama’s dog sorta reminds them that they need to get her to a doctor. This moment from the fight is interesting to me. We only find out later (in chapter 924) that the nails are made of seaprism stone but there’s no mention of that in this chapter. For all Zoro knows, those are normal nails that would simply ricochet off of Luffy but of course, he won’t even let the nails touch his Captain. Zoro has been this protective of Luffy since the very beginning. I think protecting/saving his Captain is part of what honor means to him. When he has to and for as long as he is able, he will do anything he can to keep Luffy safe.

I just appreciate how similar their ready-to-fuck-shit-up expression is.

When they go to Bakura town to save Otama, Luffy has got her and is ready to leave but once he notices her cheeks and she tells him what Holdem did to her, he immediately turns around and sends Holdem flying. That’s in chapter 917. Zoro does something similar in chapter 944. Sanji and Zoro save Otoko and Zoro then tries to kill Orochi for what he did to Yasuie and to Ebisu Town. In both instances someone - Otama and Sanji - tells Luffy/Zoro not to fight but they do anyway. Consequences be damned, they both feel the need to enact justice right then and there.

The next moment that I think is noteworthy is this one, from chapter 959. It’s an example of their differences. “If he’s alive.” Luffy’s faith in his friend and crew mate is unwavering while Zoro is simply being realistic/brutally honest.

It’s hilariously adorable that Zoro actually does not get lost. He finds Luffy rather quickly but barely even tries to talk him out of “making things worse” and instead is on board with what he’s doing and helps him. This moment would not have worked if Zoro hadn’t also been at Luffy’s side when they helped Otama. So yet again, I assume that Oda-sensei intentionally made Luffy share this with Zoro cuz I daresay any other Strawhat would have been more reasonable. But Luffy and Zoro are on the same page in this regard.

These are just some of the times when Zoro either protects or saves Luffy from attacks. He also, at one point, has to cut Kaido in order to get him to spit Luffy out. Basically, Zoro has just been an insanely badass First Mate in the Wano Arc so far. I really appreciate that Oda-sensei has put so much emphasis on their similarities and their effortless teamwork. The trust that these two have in each other just hits different imo. In the most recent chapter, Kaido ponders how to kill Luffy — and Zoro then uses his last attack, after saying “Hey! Kaido! That’s my Captain! If you want to crush anyone’s skull, you’ll have to start with mine!” He seemingly loses consciousness afterwards. Maybe this is just me but that declaration took me right back to Thriller Bark. The difference this time of course, is that Luffy was apparently conscious to hear what Zoro said. I don’t expect it to happen any time soon but I can only hope that Oda-sensei will make Luffy acknowledge the weight of Zoro’s words...

How ASL Bros React To Getting Married To You

A/N : well, I reallyyy want to write a nice long fic but like.. life man. I’m on spring break and have work all week and with my sleep problems 😭 just enjoy this please c:

Summary : what the asl brothers wedding would be like.

Luffy

“Woah! You look awesome, [Name]!”

So cheery and wholesome.

Zoro is his best man, ( much to Sanji’s dismay )

EVERYONE is there, every single person he’s ever met is there so it’s crowded and you basically had it outside, in Foosha Village, though he wanted it to be on the ship.

All of the girls Luffy’s met is responsible for your appearance, they all helped you on your big day.

Some of the marines were invited, of course.

Luffy’s best mans/groom mans ( idk) ( other than Zoro ) consists of Sabo, Ace, Sanji, Usopp, Franky, Brook, Law, Shanks and Koby.

Your bridesmaids consist of Nami, Robin ( maid of honor ), Perona, Tashigi, Vivi and Makino. ( shirahoshi and others didn’t have too much room to stand by you because of the guests so they just sat in their respective seats.)

Before it officially started, there was a lot of tension so separation in seats were needed. Big Mom’s crew is sitting on the left back, Marines in the front right, Law’s, Kid’s and Shanks and other pirates are put in the right back, and everyone else Luffy knows is in the front right.

Few are still in shock because of the fact that LUFFY is getting married before them.

A lot of yelling and laughter from everyone is around but as soon as the classic music is playing in the background, everyone shuts up and turns to face the back, where you’re walking with Garp.

Old man Garp is the one taking you, and even he is full of tears from the fact that his own grandson is getting married.

“You take care of my dumb ole’ grandson, you hear? If he ever becomes too much of an annoyance, just knock him a few times in the head.”

And when you finally reach him, everyone is quiet and has the proudest smiles on their faces. Their Luffy is all grown up.

His bright, radiating grin is plastered and he is pretty overwhelmed but right now, you’re distracted by his handsome look in his suit.

Of course, he has shorts instead of long dress pants but he still looked handsome regardless.

Vows are said, rings are given and you smile at Luffy as the minister ( Sengoku ) questions your commitment.

“Do you, [ Name LastName ] take this complete fool, Monkey D. Luffy, as your everlasting husband and, future pirate king?”

Chuckles are heard, and you couldn’t suppress a giggle either. “I do.”

“I see. I wish you luck on this journey. Luffy, you may now kiss the bride.”

Claps are heard around as Luffy grins. “About time!” He cheers and pulls you by your hands, quickly smashing your lips together in a kiss.

“Congrats, Luffy!”

“Not bad, Straw Hat.”

“Where’s the beer? Time to party!”

“Alright, Luffy! Woo!”

Music is quick to break out as everyone is celebrating and cheering.

You and Luffy already cut the cake, ( it took you a lot of force to make Luffy not shove his face in the cake and just CUT IT. )

The giant cake made by Sanji and the Big Mom family, was shared for everyone and there was still plenty left.

And it was just a fun time with everyone. You even threw your bouquet(?) behind you already and it seems the next to be wed was Tama!

Clearly some of the women weren’t too happy to see the little grow becoming married before them but it was a nice laugh.

The night goes on and it’s getting late. Guests are leaving after wishing the two of you well and you two head in for your suite that Nami booked as her present.

“It feels normal. I thought this was some big special thing, why is it such a big deal again?” Luffy questions, forgetting what the girls had told him the several nights before about weddings.

You smile gently and set the last wrapped gift to the side with the others, taking a glance at the shimmering ring on your left hand.

“Because,” you spin around and face your husband, reaching over and taking off his straw hat that he kept on.

“It swears our connection and commitment to each other. Why do you think Shanks married Makino, despite their long distance relationship?”

Luffy offers his gentle smile, seemingly more relaxed at the mention of the two of the most important people in his life, out of many.

“Because they love each other?” He guesses calmly, tilting his head and you nod, giggling at his black hair that swayed.

“And I love you.” You whisper, leaning closer and felt Luffy’s arms enveloping you in a tight hug, his face nuzzling into your neck.

“I love you, [Name].”

And he leans back, connecting his lips on yours.

Ace

“Oh..wow..”

Oh boy, did the Whitebeard crew go BIG.

I have a feeling that Ace would want something a little normal or smaller perhaps, just inviting his personal friends and family, and maybe a few people he met along the way of his journey.

He’s a friendly, outgoing person but for a personal occasion, it’s best to stick with the people you’re closest to.

But he wasn’t complaining when he saw the large äss party, feast and the important people in his life showing up.

Sabo, Luffy and his crew, Shanks, Makino, all of his brothers, members of his old crew, Garp, he was thrilled to see everyone!

The wedding was held on Whitebeard’s ship, of course. It wasn’t too fancy or grand but still pretty large and the ship was right in the middle of the sea.

Ace is all dressed up handsomely in his suit, with the help of Marco, Vista and Izo. His hair isn’t too messy and just styled neatly.

You were dressed beautifully in your gown/suit, with the help of the nurses, Nami, Robin and Izo.

There was a bit of trouble with seating but naturally, many people stood up anyways and were quite busy throwing confetti and other things at you, even if it was a wedding.

Whitebeard is taking you down the aisle, it’s a little bit difficult but he still did, and you can bet he’s excited to have a daughter/son that will help watch over Ace’s dumbass self.

“Rough him up real good, take good care of my stupid son. And call me Pops!”

When Ace sees you walking down, he’ll admit, he’s teary. He’s actually found love, someone like him.. and he’s about to be married to you, the most amazing, attractive, and sweetest person he’s met.

You look so amazing in your outfit, he’s in tears. He’s so lucky.. Marco has a hand on his shoulder and patting his back. “Congratulations, Ace. You deserve this.”

Wiping his tears with his finger, he nods and exhales, holding the widest, warmest smile he could muster.

He was going to love you and protect you all of his damn life, that’s for sure.

The minister is actually Vista! Ace’s best man is Marco and his groomsmans all include Thatch, Luffy, Jozu, Izo, and Haruta!

“Do you, [Name Lastname] take this young kid as your loyal, lawful and everlasting husband?”

“Really?” Ace pouts at Vista’s joke and chuckles are heard, even yours.

“I do, Vista. I’ll make sure he grows.” You giggle as Ace sighs in exasperation.

“Very well. I now pronounce you husband and wife, Ace, kiss your damn bride already.”

“My pleasure.” Ace grins and he’s quick in pulling your wrist towards him, and spinning you into a dipping motion before connecting your lips together in a kiss.

Whistles and catcalls are heard as loud cheers and applause are made.

“Go Ace!”

“Alright, Fire Fist!”

“Better not lose her, Ace!”

Ace rolls his eyes at the comments from his brothers and pulls you back up with a smile. He’s a little glad he didn’t fall asleep midway because of his narcolepsy.

Party immediately breaks out, Sanji aids Thatch in the kitchen to bring out everything and it’s a long night of dancing, boozing and more.

Ace is just off with the guys, having fun and celebrating while you are off with the women, talking about experiences and such.

And when Ace finally finds you and pulls you two away to his room for some alone time, he pulls you close.

“Well, Mrs. Fire Fist, what do you want to do first?~”

His arms are around your waist as he secures you towards him, a cheeky smile on display on his face.

“Not sure, what did you have in mind?” Playing coy, you shrug and tilt your head, turning away from his face which he pouts and uses his hand to force his back to him.

Pecking your lips, Ace smiles again and leads you to his bed. “I have an idea, if you’re up to it?” He wiggles his brows, making you laugh.

He jumps onto the bed, pulling you with him so you were on top. “Well?”

“Oh! Cuddles, I get it! Sure, I’m tired anyways.”

Ace groans at you, heaving a sigh and he whines. “Come on, [Naaamee]!”

You just giggle and sit up, repositioning yourself on his lap and straddled him. “Fine, fine. You’re lucky it’s our special day today.” You hum.

“Oh? So you don’t want to do this after today is over?” Ace muses, smirking a bit since he knew the answer.

You puff your cheeks out at the thought of not having sex with Ace anymore, but you weren’t going to back down. “..Nope!”

Knowing the truth, Ace chuckles and begins to grind upwards into you.

“Alright, I guess I better make this a special memory to remember.”

Sabo

“You look incredible, [Name]..”

The most average, normal one. It’s traditional, smaller than most would be, and it’s for personal guests only.

So close members of the revolutionary army, his brothers, Garp and Makino were the only ones invited. If Luffy wanted, he could bring his crew but that’s it!

It’s traditional, so it was held inside a chapel, of course. It wasn’t anything special, everything was set up already and prepared for a small group so it was great.

Sabo is in a dashing, handsome suit like Ace was, but somehow has a much more charming, princely appearance. He helped himself in the appearance, with smallest help of Inazuma.

Your dress too! Somehow it’s more Royal appearing and your veil resembles a crown in a way. Koala and Iva helped you out in this!

Sabo’s best man is actually Ace! The strongest brotherly bond overpowered the thought of having Kuma, Iva or Luffy as a best man, but fortunately, they didn’t seem to mind, since they were groomsmans anyways. Iva being both bridesmaid and groomsman.

Ace was pretty teary and honored, and felt so excited.

The one who takes you down the aisle is Dragon. He’s a little awkward about it at first but he is quite proud of Sabo, even if he doesn’t openly show it.

“Take good care of him, alright?”

“I will.” You assure, thanking him when you finally reach the point of Sabo’s side.

The whole time, Sabo is staring at you in awe, feeling speechless. How did he manage to get someone as beautiful and wholehearted as you?

He can’t contain his wide grin and excitement, his hands just a hint clammy from the nervousness of possible rejection. But he knew you loved him. Because he loves you.

“Someone looks handsome.” You whisper in a giggle and Sabo chuckles. “Not compared to the beauty you have right now.” He winks.

The minister is actually Kuma, of course. Kuma was the obvious choice. Kuma took the position with gratitude.

“[Name Lastname]. Do you take Chief of Staff Sabo, as your lawful, loyal and everlasting husband?”

“I do.”

“Congratulations. I now pronounce you husband and wife, Sabo, please do the honor of kissing your bride.”

Sabo is the most natural approach, taking a step forward and cupping your cheeks in his hands and pulling you forward, for a kiss.

Cheers and applause are made and heard, and Luffy, being the brother he is, pulls out a loud confetti popper and pulls it, it shooting it out everywhere like fireworks.

“Congratulations, you two!”

“Alright, time to get drinking!”

“Better not let this get in the way of your missions..”

“Luffy, how’d you even get that?!” Sabo widens his eyes and he laughs. “Franky made it for me! He said it’ll be super, for the wedding!”

“Geez..”

You can’t help the laugh that escapes your lips and Sabo finds himself laughing alongside you and the whole place is soon filled with laughter and cheer.

It’s a small family party but it was still pretty chaotic regardless, and Sabo makes sure to take you outside for some fresh air when it becomes nighttime.

“Hey, feeling okay?”

Taking a seat on the bench nearly, Sabo sits beside you and you nod, immediately leaning into his shoulder.

“It’s overwhelming, I guess..” the warm smile that spreads your lips is contagious as he does the same when he sees it. “But,”

You take a look at your ring finger, that held the beautiful silver ring and diamond. “I couldn’t be happier with today. I’m married to the love of my life.”

Sabo smiles gently and closed his eyes, leaning against the backrest and let the moonlight light against his face.

“I am, as well. I couldn’t be any luckier to be married to you now..” taking your hand in his, he intertwines your fingers and brings your hand up to kiss.

He kisses your ring finger specifically and hums.

“Thank you.. for being with me.. I love you, [Name].”

“Of course. Thank you for being with me. I love you, Sabo.”

I gotta confess i haven’t read the beginning of one piece in quite a number of years so my memory isn’t great, so forgive me for any mistakes i make lol

Zoro doesn’t really question why Luffy acts the way he acts since he just assumes its one of those weird pirate things. Nami tries to find out by asking Luffy why he’s snarling/roaring at every person/creature they fight, to which Luffy replies “well i gotta see if i can scare them first before we fight!” aka not helpful. Usopp’s too scared to ask about it in case it angered Luffy or his brothers.

Neither Ace nor Sabo are willing to explain Luffy’s behavior either, so early on no one knows why Luffy is the way he is, though both Nami and Usopp have their own personal theories.

It isn’t until after Sanji joins and starts cooking for them, and Luffy officially imparts his rules about food that they really find out. Before this Luffy had always just eaten all the leftovers and personally ate any food on the verge of rotting, and the rest of the crew just assumed he was a glutton and didn’t question it beyond that.

Luffy explains to Sanji that they can’t waste any food, that he has to try to use EVERYTHING when he cooks, and if he plans on throwing anything away, he needs to tell Luffy first so Luffy can check if he can eat it. Sanji is both amused and kinda irritated about being lectured about doctrines he already personally believes in, but he’s also surprised that the apparently simple Luffy seemed to feel so strongly about this too.

He tells Luffy he’s impressed by how considerate and pragmatic he is with food, and who it was that taught him. His brothers? Luffy beams at the compliment and tells Sanji he taught himself himself as a kid. The crew side eyes Ace and Sabo, who look distinctly uncomfortable, and wonder why Luffy would have had to teach himself a lesson like that. 

Luffy manages to pick up the vibe that they think Ace and Sabo did him wrong as brothers and jump to their defense by just dropping “oh Ace and Sabo couldn’t teach me cuz I got stranded on an island!”

everyone’s shocked at that bit of information and nami asks him to elaborate. Luffy laughs in a strangely embarrassed way that he got into a shipwreck when he was a kid and ended up stuck on an island for a long time, which was when he had to figure out how to be careful with his food supplies.

He doesn’t explain further than that, but after that truth bomb, when Ace and Sabo are asked about it again, they finally go into more detail about it despite the fact that it’s clearly an uncomfortable topic for them.

tbh once the east blue kids find out, they’re the ones who explain to all the new crew members what luffy’s situation is (if he does something that warrants an explanation anways)

and this got kinda long again whoops! i do have some ideas how the rest of the crew find out but im sleepy so that’ll be for another day lmao

Energy, enthusiasm, communication and spontaneity are keywords associated with orange. And is one of the shades that reminds of summer, heat, fun, freedom and positive attitudes.

Now it was after lunch, and it made you sleepy and you don't know why, but you didn't want to sleep, so you went after your crewmates to talk.

Luffy, Usopp and Chopper were playing tag as usual, it doesn't seem cool to you to run a lot right after eating, so it's a no for them for now.

Nami was busy drawing maps, just the thought of going to talk to her and unintentionally making her angry makes you feel a headache, so it's a no for Nami.

Sanji and Robin were in the kitchen talking, it's nice to talk to them, but dealing with Sanji in love for now didn't seem like a good idea, it's a no for them.

Zoro and Brook are training, training with zoro is scary, so it's a no for them too. Well, there's only one cyborg person left...

When you arrive at the workshop, Franky was leaning over a box possibly full of gears and other parts, but soon stopped moving to turn to talk to you.

"Hey (Y/N)! What can I do for you?"

"Oh, I didn't come to ask for anything. Just, if I don't disturb you, can I keep you company?"

"Oh, sure! Feel free. Hm, actually you can help me with something, or rather, test..."

He goes to another box, takes things out and starts looking for what he wants.

"Nami told me to do something to help tire the three pranksters, especially Luffy, and I'd like you to see it and tell me what you think, here it is!"

And then he puts it on the floor in front of you...a robot dog?!

"Meet Super doggu 8000!!! He still needs some repairs but-"

"OOOHH! COOL!!"

Excited, you interrupt him talking loudly, crouching down to better see the robot, your eyes and your aura shine with excitement.

When you got closer you saw that there was a button that was on his collar, and without thinking straight you pressed it, and then the dog came to life, started running and barking around you, as if he was calling you to play.

"He's amazing, I'm sure the boys will love him as much as I do!!"

"I love your enthusiasm, it's so cute...actually I love you all."

He spoke as if saying good morning, as natural as he is, unable to hold back this feeling, how beautiful and spontaneous you were. When your eyes met, time stopped, you looked like you were in a trance, the sound of the sea and the dog barking became a muffled sound.

"A-ah, I love yo-"

And when you returned to the "conscious" state, the dog suddenly jumped on you, making you fall to the ground, in surprise you gave a scream.

You screaming, an iron dog barking at you and Franky cursing the dog, trying to take him away from you, if you weren't in this situation you would surely be laughing.

This commotion caught the attention of others who also came to "help" you.

Yeah, you don't have much quiet time on this ship.
