Hiiii how are you doing love bug? I wanted to request something where farah notices spouse readers anxiety is high while there out at a celebration party thingy after a successful mission and helps them calm down

Hello! Don't worry, I got you! I hope this is what you wanted! I don't particularly know how to calm someone down, I can't even calm myself down usually, so I just swallow it all down until it goes away ^^;

Farah Senses Reader’s Anxiety

She would likely sense your anxiety as soon as she looked at you. Your eyes were wider open than usual, you’ve gone quiet, giving the occasional nod and smile and that’s it. Something was up, Farah knew you well enough by then to be able to tell. Yes, she may have been a highly coveted person at parties like these, but she could always make time for you, even while she was in the middle of a conversation with someone. As soon as you don’t seem to be doing well, don’t seem to be having fun anymore, she’ll take you somewhere quieter so she can talk to you and maybe help you calm down a bit.

Truth be told, Farah won’t particularly know what to do with you. Sure, she gets anxious at times as well, she leads an entire force, after all, but she usually calms herself down by taking a deep breath and sweeping all those negative thoughts under the rug. While it would be ridiculous to assume the same thing would work for you, she tries anyway. She may be good at building connections with other people, but she doesn’t particularly know how to calm someone down from severe anxiety. However, she will take your hands gently in hers, if you allow it, and will talk to you in the most tender tone you’ve ever heard from her. Her voice is audible still, but quieter than usual and she requests that you try to tune out everything else and only listen to her. While she won’t know what to say, she tries, talking about anything that comes to mind. The small lizard she saw on her way to the party, how she once was able to pet a bunny when she was small. Nice things that would take your mind off of the party. You will be leaving it soon enough, naturally, but before then, you need to calm down first.

If her distracting you doesn’t help, then she’ll try to breathe with you, gently asking you to breathe in, hold your breath for a few seconds, before breathing out again. This will be repeated a few times. If that doesn’t work either, then she will try the 54321 method. Granted, she doesn’t exactly know how it works and will mess it up. But who knows, maybe that will get you to laugh. Farah asks you to tell her what you’re seeing, hearing, feeling and so on and tries to crack jokes here and there to maybe get you to smile. Her attempt at distracting you from your anxiety still hasn’t ceased. Talks you through it all. However, if that doesn’t help either, then she’ll ask you what the source of your anxiety may be. If it’s the party then you’ll be going home immediately. Or, at the very least, get away from it as far as you can. If it’s something else then she’ll still try to help you somehow, reassuring you that she’ll do whatever she can to assist you. If it’s alright with you, then, after the party, you’ll go stargazing together. The vastness of the universe has always helped her calm down, and maybe she can tell you some stories she’s heard about the different constellations as well. Either way, she’ll be taking care of you as well as she can during the evening, until you calm down. And then you’ll be cuddling the night away, if you’re calm enough to want to be touched. Farah will hold you to her chest, hum a little lullaby and run her fingers through your hair.

It feels appropriate to continue the series with this little cutie - Mason Hewitt.

In his introductory season his outfits are ...... nothing special . He doesn't stand out in any way .

A lot of his clothes are ill-fitting and some have awkward patterns on them .It is honestly kind of dreadful to look at sometimes.

However , similar to his best friend , Mason shows genuine improvement in the following season. His clothes fit better and he still has fondness for patterns , but they are simply nicer .

It is in season 6 though when he really ups his game.

We see him put on some pretty cool items that you wouldn't catch most guys dead wearing like these high low t-shirts

this sleeveless woolen cardigan

or this short-sleeved boxy jacket

and even when the articles of clothing themselves are pretty ordinary he menages to style them meticulously .

For example , this pink sweater over denim shirt combo.

or this short-sleeved hoodie and ripped jeans matched up with a pair of combat boots

Now , we all know that in the film he is only in his deputy uniform ( which by itself is just tragic)

, but apparently the promotional material for the movie was done last minute which led to Khylin showing in his own clothes and thankfully that does look like something adult Mason would wear

Sadly , this time around I can not sing the praises of the production (they would have to care about Mason in order for me to give them credit).

At best they were like ,,Now , we are not gonna give Mason an actual development even though we made him integral to the plot , BUT we are going to give him a cute boyfriend and some sick drips''.

Nevertheless , I still appreciate the resemblance of a journey. It feels way more natural for Mase to slowly develop style wise instead of him just starting as the fashionable one from the get-go just because he is the new main gay kid.

Actually sighing coming up with things to say about this. Your cast are the same obviously, composer and sound director as well - we kept Asaka but not Eri Sasaki, but that sort of change doesn't really matter I'd say. All of the producers have been here before, although the number of them was cut in half. And then everything else is different. Your studio is the big easy one to point to, alongside your director. Different character designer, art director, colour designer, series composition, director of photography, background artists, the works. But that's not a bad thing, right. Like, even for fairly prolific series you see studio changes all the time, core staff changes a little less frequently but it still happens. And like it doesn't have to be a bad thing - sometimes a show will even look and feel better once its in someone else's hands. The problem here is...

What the fuck is this? This looks really bad. It's distractingly ugly. There's always been a contrast between Yuru Camp's quite realistic backgrounds and simplistic character designs but the former had enough of a painterly overlay to where everything harmonised and the whole thing looked pretty great! We're not getting that here. The characters and the objects in motion just look like they're imposed over real photography. Or alternatively you have something like the first and third shot there where every element clearly exists on separate layers with separate rendering detail and so the entire image looks really bad, like that composition is downright amateur, right? This hurts me to look at.

And like, look. This isn't the majority of the season so far. Most shots look fine. Not good, nowhere close to what was on offer before (even bearing in mind shit like the visible google maps logo in the second season), but they look fine. I don't like the character designs quite as much but I can get used to them just fine and they animate well enough. I still have many of my favourite seiyuu giving many of their most pleasant sounding performances. Yumiri Hanamori in particular I don't get enough of her in my usual anime-watching life, especially doing the Nadeshiko voice. Akiyuki Tateyama is still giving us one of the most relaxing anime soundtracks I've ever heard, but with enough going on to where I can actually listen to them in most moods. And more than anything else it's still Yuru Camp. I'm still getting to see a bunch of cute girls I like go camping and enjoy nature and be sweet and lovely. I'm still expecting to come home after a stressful day and put on Yuru Camp and just completely decompress. I'm still going to enjoy this.

But fuck me man if visuals like this aren't gonna just keep distracting me for the rest of the runtime.

Have you ever wanted to draw something but you fought due to your skill level at the time you decide not to do it

oh definitely. the hardest part of art is starting- and being comfortable making something that’s not perfect. i find drawing something *intentionally* bad to start or like, with stick figures and very basic shapes, is a good way to get over that first hurdle. and there’s also tutorials online for pretty much anything if you don’t even know where to begin!

you never know what you can do if you never try though, and you also can’t improve if you never do- i avoided backgrounds for years & i’ve been slowly getting myself used to them and have been really liking what i’ve done! (not showing the piece i have in mind yet cause it’s for a zine that’s not come out yet hehe)

#that mental hurdle is the hardest one #+ as a person with ADHD i’ve often had an idea i really wanted to do then put it off for this reason and just. kept forgetting to do it.#without having a deadline or anything my brain is just like ‘oh so this gets done never 👍 got it’#highly recommend just going ‘okay. i will do One Single Thing.’#like okay. well i don’t want to draw this yet; but i can make a new file and name it #cause that often leads to my brain going ‘well that was so easy i guess i could do another thing’#then ‘well i won’t draw the full thing but here’s like. a single circle where i want something to be’#then maybe i’ll go ‘well i can add a few more guidelines just so i remember what i’m envisioning’#and then eventually i’ve gotten so far that i just. ended up doing it. or making a lot of progress #not always! sometimes it really is just the first few things! but it makes it easier the next time i make myself do ‘just one thing’#breaking tasks down like that always makes it much less daunting #crazwaz posted #audience participation
