Someone just told me this the other day. I didn't get mad, at all. Autism has been around since the 1940's, maybe even earlier. ⁣ ⁣ Moms that suspect that something may be "off" with their child will not get their chid the help they need because of statements like this. ⁣ ⁣ Parents that suspect: Sometimes you may have to go through this journey alone and speak to professionals that can help you help your child. ⁣ ⁣ I understand that this journey is hard, frustrating, painful.... ect. There's never an easy day. Things are hard for him, I can only do my best to make things easier for him. I can never give them all the one on one attention they want, need or deserve, but I'm doing my best. We will work through this and I'll get whatever help he needs. Let's just please remember, my child doesn't mean to scream high pitched. He doesn't want to kick you. He didn't mean to throw a rock. He can't control that he walks his fingers on everything. He doesn't want to clap at you to get your attention. He doesn't enjoy laying on the floor crying and screaming for 45+ minutes. He's working on it and he's getting better.
