Hey, would you look at that. It's been over a year since I got a bullshit copyright strike on MuseScore for my transcription of To Zanarkand (exactly as it is heard in Final Fantasy X), which is a score you cannot find anywhere on the internet. It is a meticulous by-ear transcription that several people have referred to as "the most accurate transcription [they've] heard" based on the version in-game, which is compositionally distinct from any "official" sheet music sources published since the game came out.

TO ZANARKAND oh my god. Half that soundtrack is a happy place. Luca. Rin's Travel Agency. The Thunder Planes. Besaid is one of my all time favorites. Though the Calm Lands triggers some PTSD from the damn chocobo race. XD

Sorry, I needed to nerd out over the FFX soundtrack for a minute!

FF soundtracks in general are my happy place, but FFX and To Zanarkand in particular are like sipping a warm cup of tea on a cold day.

I have the sheet music for it and will find myself idly playing it when I need to get up and move.

I turned on my PS2 in what seems like 20 years. Asides the fact it could barely read discs, it still worked! I thought it doesn’t. I put in FFX and went through my memory card files; yes, saved separate files to rewatch scenes in the game LOL (the advantage of being able to record videos on the next gen console.) Even though I did play the remastered version, the PS2 version is still superior in terms of character models.

OH HOW I MISS THE OLD GRAPHICS

I just wanted to see if my ps2 still worked and I’m please that it does ☺️
