Life is hard! Consider buying my stuff!

My life isn't quite falling apart, but things have gotten really tricky lately. One housemate (and their super destructive, permanent houseguest) is refusing to pay their share of rent or utilities for the next three months, and another is refusing to pay their full share of rent for that same amount of time and is making us cover around $75 every month, and I'm having to double-up my hours at work while still being a full-time student (and also one of my professors, who we're 99% sure is using ChatGPT to generate her citations because none of them exist and we pointed this out, hates my guts and has been grading me really harshly and forcing me to go full-sail on every assignment to ridiculous degrees in order to pass this required class).

My spouse is working on getting full-time at their job, but it looks like they won't be able to until December, and we also have no idea how much rent is going to increase this year-- my guess is it's going to go up another $500, same as last year, to a total of $3,000, so things are gonna get really fucking bumpy until around January, probably.

I recently switched to a new dentist cus my old one retired and I needed one of my fillings replaced (popped out while I was flossing 😔) but after they redid this one my tooth has been really sensitive to any kind of mechanical stress, to the point that I haven't been able to really chew on the right side of my mouth for the past 4-ish months because if a seed or a grain of salt or something gets on that tooth and I bite down its HURTY. But I'm getting it re-done today so FINGERS CROSSED that it stops being sensitive

He leaned his shoulder against Lee’s, his head to his and watched him finish threading the flower crown.

This may have been hers, before, but it was Troy’s now. He could appreciate the skill it took, how quickly Lee worked. He was even humming a little now. When it was done, it didn’t look any less fragile. Though it was pretty, Troy had to admit once Lee took it all up in his hands, holding it out for Troy to admire, stretched gingerly over all of Lee’s fingers.

“I may be a bit rusty…” Lee whispered. Shyly?

“Let’s see if it holds.” Troy leaned his head slightly down, an invite. After Lee had placed the crown there – he could hardly feel it, or, not the weight of it but he was overly aware that it did sit on the top of his head – he straightened again.

“How do I look?” he asked his boyfriend. He didn’t even know what kind of answer he expected – whether he wanted him to say, better than his ex-wife (he most certainly did, even though it was childish). Lee’s answer was unexpected.

“Soft.”

It made Troy furrow his brows, unsure how to respond – whether he liked hearing that…

“I like you soft…” Lee added, tone so tender. A whisper, really.

“You like me hard, too,” Troy countered, a little tease of his own. He even raised his brows meaningfully.

This is a couple years old. I do still have this little guy somewhere. It's a dead bug I found and gave him a rat tooth as a crown :)

i cant go more than 3 years without some cruel and unusual fate befalling the exact same molar and we're finally putting it out of its misery as soon as this surgeon can get me in (in like a month) gruesome details in the tags bc i love to overshare

#dont keep reading if u dont like gross tooth details: #at 13 i found out that what looked like a normal cavity was actually basically the entire tooth rotting from the inside out #they only found this out when they tried to fill it and ended up having to basically gut the entire tooths flesh right then #and i wasnt numbed enough so i felt all of it 😭 #at 15 i finally got that full root canal but one of the screws fell into my mouth during the procedure and i almost choked #at 18 i found out that the root canal didnt really work and there was still nerve tissue in there and thats why it still hurt years later #and now at 20 i find out that a crack in the crown caused an infection that rotted literally the entire rest of the tooth under the crown #and we only realized when that crack ended up making the entire crown snap off and take some of the rotted tooth with it #and now im walking around with an exposed tooth bed with only semi-excavated nerves for a month until i can get an implant made #honestly im just glad its getting put out of its misery....... #angel.txt
