Osomatsu: Second most frequent smoker, loves every consumption method, is the dab KING! Loves everything, doesn't matter the kind, really loves the stuff that makes him kinda hazy and horny ngl. I thought about changing it to something else, but I couldn’t think of an English word that truly captures how cutesy and punchable Totty is being as well as “Shobon” does so I ended up leaving it in. Like, the image of him sighing out “Shobon…” makes me want to both hug and slap him, and I wanted to convey that feeling as authentically as possible.

This Is probably one of my favorite Matsuno Family Diary entries. It really captures Todomatsu as a character: he wants so badly to be his own person apart from his brothers, but he also doesn’t want that and hates being alone and even when he spends a night away from his family he still ends up talking about them the entire time because despite thinking he’s better than them he still deeply lacks confidence in himself as an individual person. In conclusion, Todomatsu is a land of contrasts, bless his dry little co-dependent heart.

On February 17th 2018, Måneskin performed at the Afterlife Live Club in Ponte San Giovanni. They played a medley of "Prisoner" by James Arthur and "Watch Me" by Jaden Smith. Måneskin performed the first minute and 42 seconds of "Watch Me." That section of the song includes the n-word twice and Damiano said it both times.

“Watch Me” starts at 2:26. The n-word is said at 2:43 and 3:44.

Below are the lyrics from the section Måneskin performed. Since Damiano defers from them, I’ve put all the lyrics he recites as they were written in bold.

The Context:

This video was filmed during the first concert of Måneskin’s first tour. Creatively named Tour 2018, it ran from February to June. It's also been referred to as the "covers tour" or "X factor tour." For the sake of this post, I'm ignoring TV and radio gigs because those performances only have one or two songs. The only relevant dates are actual concerts (because the entire setlist was performed).

I found this image of the Tour 2018 setlist on Twitter. I can't locate its source, but I assume it was posted by Maneskin then deleted because of spelling errors. "Watch Me" is misspelled "Eatch Me," (hence the typo in the video title.) This spelling error is why theres conveniently no record of "Watch Me" being in a Maneskin setlist.

The setlist from the Afterlife Live Club 2/17/18 falsely credits "Catch Me" by Yellow Claw instead of "Watch Me" by Jaden Smith. As we can see in the video, Damiano clearly isn't singing the lyrics to "Catch Me." Because this was a relatively small tour, there are only setlists available for four other dates. Casa della Musica 2/24/18, The Cage Theatre 3/8/18, Vox Club 3/11/18, Santeria Toscana 31 4/20/18. Since the subsequent setlists were based on the first one, each make the same mistake of crediting "Catch Me" by Yellow Claw instead of "Watch Me" by Jaden Smith.

With so little evidence, I can't definitively say how many times Damiano used the n-word, but I can make an educated guess. I estimate Maneskin performed “Watch Me” about 22 times from February to April of 2018 on the following dates: Ponte San Giovanni 2/17/18, Naples 2/24/18, Modugno 2/25/18, Palermo 3/2/18, Catania 3/3/18, Livorno 3/8/18, Florence 3/9/18, Nonantola 3/11/18, Bologna 3/15/18 & 3/17/18, Parma 3/18/18, Milan 3/21/18 & 3/23/18 & 3/25/18 & 4/20/18, Roncade 3/24/18, Bassano Del Grappa 3/26/18, Turin 3/30/18, Genoa 3/31/18, Rome 4/6/18 & 4/7/18 & 4/22/18. Unless he got educated, that'd mean Damiano said the n-word 44 times in about two months.

Remember that Maneskin profited off this tour where the n-word was sang twice a night. They made their first album and started their career with that money.

Four Years Later:

"Watch Me" wasn't the end of Maneskin using racial slurs in their covers. Damiano sings the c-slur twice in Manskin's cover of "Black Skinhead" by Kanye West, but avoids the n-word. This means Maneskin are aware that "Watch Me" was a mistake, but can't be fucking bothered to didn't google a list of racial slurs when covering another Black artist.

The c-slur is said at 1:05 and 1:21.

Maneskin performed "Black Skinhead" from 2019 to 2021. Above is the final rendition on June 16th during a TikTok livestream from Berlin. Damiano received minor backlash for using the c-slur on that occasion and issued an apology on Twitter. Notably, Maneskin have never acknowledged using the n-word in "Watch Me." Hypothetically, that could lead a person to believe that Damiano's primary motivation for apologizing for using the c-slur was that he got called out. Considering his support for Black Lives Matter, the perception that Damiano prioritizes marketability over genuine remorse looks like some lazy ass, token allyship that only a white dude would get congratulated for hypocritical.

Maneskin performed an abridged version of "Black Skinhead," from beginning to 2:16 on the original track. Let's take a close look at which lyrics Damiano censored.

The dehumanization is used to justify Black suffering. Notice the initials KKK, as in Klu Klux Klan, which are also present in the titles alternative spelling, "BLKKK SKKKNHEAD."

Middle America packed in / Came to see me in my Black skin 🔎In this version Damiano avoids the phrase "in my Black skin," but in past performances he sang the lyric.

According to BBC, more Americans have been killed in Chicago than in Iraq and Afghanistan combined. Most victims are young Black men.

It refers to a dramatic moment of anger so intense that the speaker doesn't remember their actions.

Stop all that c*%& shit 🔎This term comes from C*%& Songs, which were played at minstrel shows. Kanye is telling someone to stop acting out a caricature of blackness for the consumption of white people.

In this case, "black out" refers to making a room completely dark by closing curtains etc.

In Conclusion:

Damiano censored each lyric with the word "black" to avoid being offensive. In addition to those three instances, the world "black" is repeated in the background 14 times. If Damiano thinks it's offensive to say the word "black" in a song that contains it 17 times, is titled "Black Skinhead," and is about the Black experience, he shouldn't be singing it at all. He censored lyrics that don't reference race because he doesn't know what the song is about. That ignorance is the same reason he didn't know that c*%& is a slur.

Yes, Maneskin should have educated themselves about a song they didn't understand with words they didn't recognize before performing it in front of thousands. Yes, they should have learned their lesson since racism is literally the consequence. Yes, this mistake is inexcusable from BLM allies. However, in reality, Maneskin shouldn't have performed "Black Skinhead" at all. The fact that this song wasn't made for white people's consumption is obvious from the inflammatory title. Lyrically, Kanye is describing his nuanced and complex lived experience as a Black American surviving the intersection of oppressive colonialist forces. "Watch Me" may not have substantive lyrics, but "Black Skinhead" and its subject matter is not to be repackaged into a catchy little rock song by four white Europeans for their mostly white fanbase. It's not our cultural experience and it's not intended to be adopted it as such. I don't know how else to explain it.

For once, all residents in the Origami Castle seemed to be asleep. This was a rare night indeed, usually the Origami King would stay up late folding Origami, or the Missile Maestro would draw or even watch dumb videos all night due to his insomnia, or the Disco Devil refused to sleep for she feared having more nightmares. Now what could be causing this rare occasion? Simple, Olly was actually tired enough to sleep, Jean was feeling sick which made it easier for him to fall asleep, and Devon wasn’t feeling too well either, she wasn’t sick but she was still too exhausted and had no choice but to get some rest. Throughout the night they all had their own dreams. Some good while others bad.

Jean laid in bed by himself, he didn’t want Stacey to sleep in his room tonight as he did not wish to make her sick as well. He held on tightly to his two headed bat pig plush that his beloved girlfriend made him to help him sleep. The poor teen was suffering from both being sick and from a not so great dream. He dreamt of being a kid again and his father calling him a freak, a disappointment, a mistake, and “Auttie Tottie”. Young Dream Jean could do nothing but take it as he was by himself, nobody was around to save him, he was on his own. His dad faded out and everything around him changed. His surroundings were erased and drawn again but to Overlook Mountain. He was 14 again, standing on top of the Tower, fighting off the Paper Version of that Red Plumber. He silently opened the door and looked up to see her sleeping in her loft bed. He smiled in relief, she was okay and still alive. He noticed her lamb plush, Skoby, had fallen off the bed. “How did you get here?” He said very quietly as he dusted Skoby off and gently put it in Stacey’s arms, he swore Skoby smiled at him for a second. Everyone was aware Skoby sometimes had a mind of its own and kept Stacey safe and secure. Jean kissed Stacey on her forehead, “Sleep well, mon amour.” He said, Stacey smiled in her sleep, “Buenas Noches mi amor…” she muttered in her sleep. Jean smiled back, he patted Skoby on the head. “Good night, Skoby.”, he walked by Stacey’s sleeping dog. “Good night Staples.” He said. And so the young boy went back to his room hoping to feel better soon.

Across the hallway is where Tyler and Reese slept. They had barely gone to sleep after watching a movie. Tyler slept peacefully and dreamt of happy things. He dreamt of a world where Genderfluids were accepted by everyone, he dreamt that he had a good life. Everything was perfect in his dream, he was married to the love of his life, they had the children they always wanted, Reese became a famous actress, his sister returned to them, Jean wasn’t tired all the time anymore, his art was well known and he had his own life with Stacey who had her own books published and a line of dolls. He turned to see Lia with her wife, Ivy. Stacey playfully bowed to Lia as she always did ever since Lia married Ivy due to Ivy being a princess. He turned to the other side to look at Devon who sat in the moonlight with her headphones on and seemed so at peace. He walked over to her, holding his baby daughter in his arms. He didn’t even have to get close for Devon to open her eyes and say, “Yes, I want to hold her.”, she took the baby in her arms and rocked her. “Miss me? You miss Tía Devon? Oh look at that beautiful smile! I have a feeling you’ll be a lot like your dad, just like your sister over there.” She said. Upon hearing that, Tyler realized he never saw the faces of the children, not even Jean and Stacey’s daughter. And not in the punched out way either, he just never saw them show their faces, he realized that Marceline was still a child and not an adult like she should. He became self aware that this was all just a dream, a really good one that you don’t want to wake up from. Everybody disappeared, it was silent, it was just him alone. He sat down, “I really hate these too good to be true type of dreams…” he muttered.

His girlfriend on the other hand was not having a good night’s rest. Reese dreamt of being on a massive stage with strings attached as the puppeteer expressed that she’ll never have control, that she’ll never be taken seriously, that she’ll never be a script writer, that she’ll always have to play parts she hates written by people who don’t care about the audience, only the money. As the dream continued, she began to hear the audience boo and throw things at her, calling her all the cruel words they saw her character portraying as. “But it’s not me! I don’t agree with this! Please, I begged them not to make me do this! Please, cut my strings!” She tried to yell but it did no good, no words came out her mouth, only the ones the puppeteer spoke for her and made people believe this is what Reese was saying. She felt herself get so tangled up in her strings that she couldn’t breathe. Her eyes shot open and she was back laying in bed next to her boyfriend. It was dark, she hated that. She held on tightly to her sleeping boyfriend who had such a peaceful face. “Spread the joy to my dreams…” she said as she dozed off again.

Just down the hall, Lia levitated off her bed as she slept. It happened sometimes as she slept, usually meaning she was in a deep sleep. Her dreams were full of Anime and orange skies with pink grass and trees and even the seas. She usually had fun dreams of herself with her friends or dreams about herself just twirling in the cool breeze as the cherry blossoms flew by. This time however, she was not having a really great time. It appeared she was being reminded of when it all went wrong, when she lost herself and felt like she had no meaning anymore. There were two of her, little Lia with her twintails and her dollies stared at her 13 year old self in fear. They were on two rocks floating in a void, a thin piece of rope holding them together. “What are you doing!? I’m apart of you! You need me! I’m everything that makes you who you are today! If you erase me, you will have nothing!” The younger one cried out, begging to be spared. Her 13 year old self had no expression, no remorse as she stared back. “No, you are nothing. Nobody ever cared about you or likes you. I grew up, I don’t need you anymore. You have to be erased, nobody will take me seriously if I still like kid stuff or wear twintails. Goodbye. This is the end for you.” She said as she quickly cut the rope between them and the young Lia’s rock floated away and she faded. “No! No! You can’t block me out! I’m supposed to be with you!” She cried as she fully disappeared. Outside the dream she slept talked, “Why did I do that…Era féliz…”, she had many regrets, letting go of her childhood memories was one of them. She blocked out so much that she could barely remember being a kid now and was often confused when the others would talk about past memories she no longer had.

At the end of the hall was Stacey, her dreams seemed to go back and forth tonight. First it was a good dream, it was her in the future where she was happily married to Jean and they appeared to have a kid as well. She looked over at her dear husband as he read Stacey’s book to their daughter who held the doll Stacey made her. “Stephanie…” Stacey muttered to herself smiling, her whole life she wanted a daughter named Stephanie. It was great, she had her own books and her own doll lines, Jean was still doing art and even made drawings for his wife’s books sometimes. However, the dream was starting to turn bad as Stacey began having negative thoughts. Her books were being banned for idiotic reasons just as she always feared. But she didn’t live in America, so why was she worried? Wait, Americans live in the Origami Kingdom too. They banned her books for talking about being queer, her book about periods and health ed for anyone who needed it was being banned, her books that she wrote as a young child were banned for having an entirely Gay Main Cast. She was so frustrated, these books were made to help people, to take people on adventures, an escape from the harsh reality. And yet it all seemed useless, no matter what, her books would be banned. She wanted to quit. Around this point of the dream is when Jean came into her room. The dream got happier again as her husband showed her that her readers were fighting to have her books placed back on the shelf again. Their 3 year old daughter walked over with one of her books in her hands. “¿Puede leer para mi, mamá? Daddy say you made the story!” She said all smiling. Stacey smiled back, “Of course I will read it. Anything for my number 1 reader.” She said. “Thank you, Mamí!” Said Stephanie.

The final person in the bedroom hall sleeping was not having a pleasant night. Devon always remembered her dreams, whether good or bad she always remembered them. And due to her having nightmares since a baby, it was always a problem for her, being scared to sleep because she didn’t want nightmares. But she was in pain, she needed to rest to make it get better, which meant she had to sleep. As usual, she saw the dreaded silent dark void and heard her mom’s voice say “It’s okay, Devi” before all her bad memories played right in front of her, all the fear she had as a child came back to her, the constant need to be perfect attitude so that people would love her and take her seriously. The memories of her parent’s deaths replayed and her breathing became harder, next were the moments of her own death. She was back there again, the place she died. She couldn’t take it anymore, she screamed to be let out. This time nobody came, she screamed quieter this time so nobody would wake up. She laid down to get more rest, but could not fall asleep again, she was too panicked to get anyone to help her…

i think that otouto works so well as a trio is that theyre able to like. take on specific roles that osomatsu usually provides for the six, so otouto can function pretty well without him because theyre able to do that

like todomatsu, most of the time, can and will take the lead when the younger trio are seperated (im including fesmatsu bits those are canon and i love tjem), hes able to point them all in a direction and usually suuji will follow (unless they have a different idea on how sth should be handled in which case theyll be like Um. No<3 GDJF) because totty makes decisions and makes them quickly and hes generally p smart about em too, hes a conniving little trickster of a man and is good at getting his own way which does translate p well into leadership skills (a counterpoint could be if he doesnt wanna do something he wont but this is abt what they Can do not what thay Do okay alright BDNDV)

ichimatsu has a calming disposition and also generally takes that role in the group as a whole, but its v prevalent in otouto, the amount ichimatsu asks the others Are You Okay? and tells them It'll Be Alright Because X, Y and Z is very very sweet like he is actually extremely caring

and jyushi brings the lightheartedness and levity needed in the group, like he would never let any situation get too serious or sad like thats prevalent through yhe series he just doesnt like seeing people he cares about upset or sad and he can and will attempt to remedy that

all of these are traits that osomatsu exhibits when he bothers to put his big boy older brother boots on, osomatsu, obviously the leader they have and will continue to follow his lead for ever, hes extremely caring and calming when he isnt the one causing the scene what needs to be calmed and hes able to provide levity whenever the rest of em are like ouh :(

obviously theres a lot of other things in otoutos dynamic that make them work (ie. they like each other HDNDV) and having the same kind of traits as The Leader isnt necessarily what makes them work well but the fact that yhey have those spread among them is cool and fun and interesting and def is a contributing factor smile

ani on the other hand. mmmmmmm. lol

i think animatsu have. WAY less respect for one another than otouto do. osomatsu still considers himself in charge and the leader, but he has the two brothers who are Least willing to listen to him in his court in the context of the animatsu trio

karamatsu sees himself as equal to osomatsu in ranking he usually says We are the oldest, as the oldest two brothers yadda yadda, like in his mind he is on equal footing with osomatsu and maybe even slightly higher because he Does not respect his ass at all HDGNFVR and so its like ah yes Us the older brothers and our little brother choromatsu smile, and like he does respect choromatsu just not to yhe extent that choromatsu wants him to

choromatsu is a bigheaded Fool and considers himself far above both osomatsu and karamatsu DBDNV i doubt hed listen to jack shit the others say, theyre all three of them in their own ways Trying To Lead and thats just not gonna work HDJDB

Not helpful at all: Osomatsu and Todomatsu.

Tires very hard to be helpful:Jyushimatsu, Choromatsu, and Karamatsu.

Is actually Helpful: Ichimatsu.

• Osomatsu will be half asleep but he still pried himself out of bed to come down to the kitchen so props to him for that, I guess. But all he does is sit at the table and watch you work with his brothers, jokingly complaining about how long you guys are taking and how he's hungry.

"We've got mom to cook for us and even you sometimes, so why do we have to learn? The way I see it is if something isn't broke don't fix it."

• Karamatsu and Choromatsu are both right at your sides, doing their very best to mimic the steps you show them. It's one of the few times you'll see Karamatsu so careful, his concentrated expression just as unsure as Choromatsu's as they follow along to the best of their ability. They're actually trying; whether it be to impress you or because they actually want to learn, and it gives you a good idea of how far out of their league these boys are when it comes to basic self-sufficienct skills like cooking.

• Jyushi is also trying his very hardest! But it might be best to give him his own separate set of cooking utensils and ingredients so he can still work along with you just...a little farther away from what will be the finished product. He's an excellent gofer though and is at your side with whatever you need not a second after you ask for it.

• Todomatsu acted excited about the idea from the moment you told them you wanted to teach them how to cook, even picking the two of you out matching aprons and helping you decide what recipes you were going to show them first. But when the actual work starts all he's focused on is chatting and somewhat inconveniently hugging you from behind.

"Do you want to try, Totty?" You ask, motioning to your cutting board."

"Nah~ You keep going!" He rests his head on your shoulder with a sweet smile. "I'm much more of a visual learner!" You have to remind him to let go each time you have to move to a different part of the kitchen only for him to latch back on the second you're stationary again.

• He lifts his phone up to you every once in a while to show you something he thinks would be fun to make some time and you notice that they're all dessert, eventually deciding that your next lesson would be baking since you just might be able to find a recipie he's actually interested in learning.

• And then you have Ichimatsu. You weren't going to push him to participate but were more than surprised by how easily he followed along with the idea, even if all he did at first was lurk in the background, watching from a distance, but you were still happy to have him there.

• Eventually, a moment comes around where you get distracted helping somewhere else and forget about something you have on the stove, but when you finally remember and turn around in panic at the possibility of it having burned you see Ichimatsu carefully tending to it.

"...Hm?" He raises a brow at your happy expression, a small blush crossing his cheeks as he turns back to the stove. "Go ahead and finish with them, I've got this..."

• Osomatsu gets up at one point and tries to sneak his arms around you from behind like Tottys been doing, only for the youngest to return from wherever you sent him and promptly muscles him to the ground with a mischievous "Oops!" You have to stop a fight from breaking out after that but Osomatsu is finally off his butt so you put him to work alongside Ichimatsu who's more than happy to keep him from sneaking off.

• You'll have your hands pretty full the whole time but in the end the results are....better than expected! The phrase "too many cooks in the kitchen" exists for a reason you suppose because the resulting chaos left your final product looking less than pretty but it tasted just fine so it was more than a success in your book; especially since they're all already asking when their next lesson will be.

OMG WAIT YOU WRITE FOR OSOMATSU-SAN??? Is it alr if I ask for headcanons of the bros supporting a trans reader? (ftm preferably but it can be more open if you want it) You don't have to write write all of them if you don't wanna, I just kinda need supportive stuff atm

Admittedly, this is kind of a new concept for the sextuplets. Ichi, Totty and Jyushi (and maybe Kara) are the only ones that have seriously looked into the LGBTQ+ community prior to you coming out, but all 6 are fairly sure they identify as their AGAB, so this is brand new territory. However, they all think it makes sense. If you don't feel like the label that was slapped onto you at birth is a fitting one, you should absolutely be allowed to find and use a better one! It's just common sense, right? It should be common sense, anyway.

Oso doesn't treat you any differently after you come out to him. He won't make it a big deal if you don't want him to. Take it from somebody who is completely the same person now as he was in high school: people change all the time, right? Small changes, big changes, doesn't matter. But you're still yourself when you change. Even if you're completely different today from the person you were yesterday. And that's why he still loves you, because you haven't stopped being yourself. You're just becoming a happier version of yourself, and that's pretty kickass.

Kara gets all poetic about it, like he does for many things. Lots of cute, slightly painful metaphors, like comparing you to a butterfly, or the moon, or a flower blooming, or any other thing in nature that changes phases. Even if it's kinda pretentious, you can't help appreciating how far he goes to make sure you know he loves you no matter what. All the cliche flattery is completely sincere, he means every word. He's just dramatic as hell.

Choro is a little freaked out, not because of you but because he's super worried about saying or doing something wrong and totally ruining everything between you. You have to admit it's cute to watch him fumble over his words and get all worked up, but eventually you reassure him that it's okay to make a mistake here or there. As long as he isn't purposely misgendering or deadnaming you, it's understandable to mess up a few times at first.

Much like Oso, Ichi doesn't feel the need to make a big deal out of it and won't if that's not the energy you're looking for. He's more the kind of person to show his support in small ways. If he manages to find anything with trans pride flag colors, whether they be there intentionally or not, he'll probably get it for you. He'd also be really excited to go to a pride parade or other pride event with you, he's kinda always wanted to but never felt like he had a real reason to before... which is silly in retrospect, he absolutely could have gone if he felt like it. But now he can also go with you, which makes it even more special.

Jyushi is much better than his brothers at parsing out the kind of response you're looking for, his emotional intelligence in general is a lot higher than that of his brothers. So if you're looking for a big, excited reaction from him, he's gonna throw you a coming out party. If you're looking just for acknowledgement, he can also do that. He and Ichi are probably the most likely to Choose Violence when it comes to addressing transphobic assholes, as well.

Y'know, it's kind of a funny coincidence, but people occasionally mistake Totty for a girl. Especially if he's not with his brothers. Sure, he is a bit of a twink and he does care about fashion, but it bothers him that people immediately label him a woman just for those things. Anyway, his point is that people are so weird about gender roles and all that. Like, it's completely baffling what things people will attribute to being Inherent and Exclusive to One Gender Only™️. Having a larynx? Oh that's only for men. Being creative? Oh that's only for women. And so on and so forth. Again, it's baffling. All that to say, try not to let it get to you too much. If people misgender you or are transphobes, they just have bizarre, socially ingrained notions about gender that don't reflect reality. You and him can be cooler, happier individuals than those who are so damn invested in goofy societal expectations.

A Circle None Can Break- Part Nine

Summary: Firetome has a discussion with Darkhide about the Fireball that went off at the end of the Council session. In the meantime, Ragnarsson pays the Archlector a visit to have a chat about a certain member of the clergy and the Hellmouth situation.

Firetome couldn't quite hide his snarl as he strode into his office and slammed the door shut. Whoever had tried to use a Fireball to try and kill or maim the Grand Magus was clearly an incompetent fool of the highest order. The flame haired dwarf threw himself into his seat with an annoyed growl, pulling out the scrying mirror from his desk and waving a hand over it.

"What do you want Firetome?" Darkhide sighed irritably. His hood was down, and Firetome could hear the inquisitive squeaks and yaps of about a dozen kobolds. The dwarf glared at the human man,

"Whatever agents ye've sent up here to spy on the Grand Magus are incompetent buffoons." He growled, "What idiot tries to kill a bloody wizard with a wee, totty Fireball? And in front o' three quarters o' the bloody mountain to boot?" Darkhide's brow furrowed in confusion, even as his eyes narrowed and blazed with indignation,

"All of the spies I have working for me are here giving me their reports." He said, voice calm, "Besides, none of them are capable enough with magic to manage more than a few sparks, never mind a fireball, no matter how small." Firetome snorted and leaned back in his seat,

"Maybe some o' yer Cabal friends got impatient then?" He suggested. Darkhide rolled his eyes and snorted derisively,

"Oh, please." He sighed, "Any member of the Cabal sent in to kill their 'Little Librarian' would have cast a Fireball big enough to kill everyone still in that room when it went off." He pointed out, "The Cabal are hardly in the business of hiring third rate wizards or sorcerers." The human shook his head,

"Given your description of how small the fireball was – and the fact that it was cast in full view of pretty much the entire population of your city – I would surmise that it's merely a disgruntled citizen who took advantage of their only opportunity." Firetome grumbled, 

"Fair point." He muttered, "In which case I'll see how this plays oot. Maybe we can turn it to our advantage." Darkhide huffed out an impatient sigh,

"You do that." He grumbled, shutting off the connection and leaving Firetome to stare at his own reflection. The dwarf snapped the casing of the mirror closed, placed it back into the drawer and slammed it closed. He ran a hand down his beard. Were the caster of the Fireball truly a dwarf, then the action constituted an act of war against Toreguarde, and the Inquisitor knew he couldn't afford to have that happen. Not yet anyway. 

Then again, the Grand Magus was not here on official business, and she most certainly was not the sort of person to report such an incident back to Toreguarde. Not if she wanted to improve relations between Toreguarde and Fangthane. Firetome relaxed into his seat, tapping his steepled fingers on his lips as he thought. If what the Grand Magus had said was true, and that the God Clay was her last option for sealing up the Hell Mouth, then she would not only need the artefact in question, but a Shaper as well. 

A slow smile spread across the High Inquisitor's face. It didn't matter what the woman did, there was no way to permanently seal it. Even if Drakemar gave her the artefact if asked, without a Shaper it was utterly useless to her, and there would never be any ever again. He chuckled, pulling out an iron-wrought draconic eye with wings on either side of it out from under his vestments and rubbing his thumb over it,

"All we need to do is wait, my Lord, then you and your siblings can finally reclaim the world that is rightfully yours."

High Priest Ragnarsson whooshed out a sigh and dusted down his vestments before knocking on the elaborately carved door in front of him. He was grateful beyond words that whoever had cast the Fireball directly after the council session had been concluded was a less than powerful caster. Had they been any more capable, then Fangthane would have lost the entirety of its council, the Archlector and their king in one fell swoop. Due to this, the whole mountain had been swiftly locked down, with all entry and exit points shut tight so the perpetrator couldn't escape.

The greying dwarf quickly shook his head to clear it of such maudlin thoughts. There were other, far more important matters to discuss. The door swung open to reveal a young woman dressed in the dark green and gold robes of the Archlector's personal attendants. The beardling smiled as she stood to one side to allow the High Priest of Moradin inside,

"Please take a seat, Father Ragnarsson, His Holiness will be with you shortly." She said, bowing low as the older dwarf walked past her. Ragnarsson inclined his head as he stepped into the room,

"Thank you Agnes." He replied, "I don't suppose I could trouble you for a pint of stout?" Agnes curtsied and hurried off into another, adjacent room while Ragnarsson settled himself into the closer of two wingback chairs situated next to a large fireplace.

The Archlector's office was more akin to an apartment. The main office had several comfortable chairs dotted around the space, with two large couches facing one another in the centre. Bookshelves lined every wall, all of them covered in various little trinkets and knick knacks along with many books in nearly every language spoken on Titan. Doors led off to other rooms, one of them a small kitchenette, another a water closet, one that led to the Archlector's bedchamber and one more tucked into a far corner, which led directly to the Contemplation Chamber. 

"Your stout, Father." Ragnarsson blinked and looked up at Agnes, smiling as he did,

"Thank ye, hen, it's much appreciated." He said, taking the offered tankard and placing it on the coaster on the arm of the chair. Agnes bobbed her head,

"It's no trouble, Father. Are you well, though? I only ask because you seem troubled." She noted. Ragnarsson shook his head,

"I'm as well as I can be, given the circumstances." He replied, "How fares His Grace?" He asked. Agnes chuckled,

"He is as spry as ever Father Ragnarsson. All His Holiness said on the matter of the Fireball in the Council Chamber was that whoever cast it was, and I quote, 'Clearly not trying hard enough and is a lousy shot'." 

"Indeed, I've seen my grandfather throw rocks with more accuracy the day before he passed into Moradin's Hall." An amused voice called from the other side of the room. Agnes beamed as the Archlector shuffled out of his bedchamber, having changed into more comfortable robes. The elderly dwarf motioned for Ragnarsson to remain seated even as the younger man began to rise. He turned to Agnes,

"Be a dear and ask the kitchen staff if they can send a plate of pastries, Agnes. I rather suspect the good Father and I will be here for a while." He said. Agnes bowed low and hurried off, leaving the two men alone in the room. The Archlector sighed as he sat down in the chair opposite Ragnarsson,

"Now then, I think I know why you're here, Jotunn, but can you confirm an old man's suspicions?" He asked. Ragnarsson nodded, made sure his tankard was secure, then leaned forward,

"Of course, Yer Grace. I wanted to know your thoughts on the reason fer Lady Frigidwake's visit." He said. The Archlector nodded, running a hand through his beard,

"Ah yes, to find out more about the God Clay." He murmured, "While I understand that many in the church are reluctant to allow the Grand Magus access to such knowledge, I see no harm in it. After all, she has already pointed out that we cannot allow the Hellmouth to continue to exist." Ragnarsson shifted uneasily,

"Aye, that is true yer Grace, but the fact remains; she'll not only need the God Clay but a Shaper. And the one we have is only barely of age, and hasn't even been trained on how to use the stuff." He retorted. Ragnarsson sat back in his seat and rubbed his temple, "Besides, only Ovaksson and his wife, you and me know about the lassie. If she goes off to Toreguarde with the Grand Magus, then folk are gonna put two and two together and they're gonna start asking some right awkward questions." 

“They might, but is that a good enough reason to not allow Gruksdottir to help if she is able?” The Archlector countered. Ragnarsson blinked owlishly at the much older dwarf. The Archlector continued, “I have been in Contemplation since the Grand Magus’ arrival, and I know what Moradin’s thoughts on this matter are.” he paused for a moment and regarded Ragnarsson critically, “Tell me, has the girl spoken of being Called, or having dreams or nightmares about the Hellmouth?” he asked lightly. 

Ragnarsson squirmed under the gentle, but firm gaze of the Archlector. While Gruksdotti had never approached him directly, he had heard that she had indeed been having regular nightmares for the last month or so. Ragnarsson had been hoping that it was simply the stress of adapting to becoming a fully fledged cleric so early, but given the circumstances… he heaved a sigh and nodded, not meeting the Archlector’s gaze and staring into the fire instead,

“I’ve not heard if they’re about the Hellmouth, but, aye, the lassie’s apparently been having regular nightmares for the last month or so.” he confirmed. The middle aged man winced as he heard the Archlector’s disappointed tutt,

“Jotunn, you know as well as I that we can’t ignore such things.” the elderly dwarf sighed, “If Gruksdottir’s been Called to assist in permanently sealing the Hellmouth, then there is little we can do to stop her from going.” Ragnarsson returned his gaze to the Archlector and shook his head,

“I know that, but, as I said earlier, the lassie’s had no training on using raw God Clay. It’s no’ right to send her off with well wishes and hoping fer the best.” The Archlector hummed, tapping a finger on his chin,

“That is a bit of a pickle.” he agreed, but he raised an eyebrow, “However, she wouldn’t be able to get the proper training regardless. Fangthane has no raw God Clay for her to begin to practise with.” he pointed out. The Archlector sat back in his seat, relaxed, even as Ragnarsson blustered, “Personally, I have faith that the girl will manage just fine, provided she keeps her own faith in Moradin throughout the trials He’ll set before her.” 

Ragnarsson stared at him, eyes wide. Uncertainty gripped at his heart. There was less than a year for Gruksdottir to learn the secrets of the Gift she’d inherited and for her to find and use whatever God Clay remained. There was also the matter of the enemies of the Grand Magus, who likely wanted the Hellmouth to reopen, they would all set their sights on the girl the moment they discovered her involvement. Could Ragnarsson take the risk of having the life of a member of his flock snuffed out before it had truly begun? He startled as he felt a hand on his shoulder.

“Your concerns are valid, Jotunn.” The Archlector said gently, now sitting on a footstool in front of the middle-aged priest, “However, you must remember that Moradin must have faith in Gruksdottir and her ability to succeed, otherwise He would not be Calling her.” Ragnarsson took in a deep breath and nodded as warmth flooded into him,

“Aye. Aye, ye’re right.” he stuttered, his fear abating, “So, what do we do about the Council’s insistence on not allowing folk to leave the mountain for Toreguarde?” he asked. The Archlector smiled as he stood,

“Oh, I’m sure they’ll come around to changing their minds soon enough.” he replied lightly. A shiver went down Ragnarsson’s spine at the elderly dwarf’s words. Was it his imagination or did the floor under his feet just tremble?

what i really love about oso.matsu, even though his brothers often think he's the shittiest eldest brother anyone could ask for, is that he still pertains or sticks to his role as the eldest. did you know he consoled kara.matsu and told him to not change himself even if people think he's "painful" or cringe? did you know he was also the first to speak up when jyushi.matsu started crying and encouraged him to meet his girlfriend before she moves away? did you know he avoided a fight between choro and totty by simply cheering for the third eldest and assuring him he'll tell everyone else (even though it wasn't a total success)? i mean like, what kind of person who wouldn't make fun of their sibling? even if that's how he is, he genuinely cares for his brothers and would do the best he can to help them in times of despair. that's why... he lost control of his emotions when he learned they were planning on moving out. even if he doesn't want to admit it, he loves his brothers and doesn't want to be separated from them. he felt conflicted about the situation and didn't know what to do about it, hence making the wrong move (aka actually hurting one of his brothers).

Zekina Princess and the Frog AU Idea

I really wanted to write down this prompt idea because this is somehow the most perfect idea and also the most frustrating in how much I have to fix it up to make it work in this idea. XD Like you think, yay restaurant this is perfect, but no actually because Tiana and Tina are vastly different personalities and I have to completely redo the path she goes along to do the things she does. So anyway, here's the cast I have so far. It's not going to be a complete list because I'm going to leave it up to anyone else who wants to do this idea. Tina - Tiana (I don't even have to change anything for her name XD) Tiana was once an idealistic young girl full of dreams of love. She dreamed of getting married to her childhood sweetheart. However, after the death of her father and getting her heart broken by her childhood sweetheart she vowed to help make her father's dream come true. She stuffs down her idealistic, hopeless romantic self deep down in order to never be hurt by a cute dancing boy again. So instead of pursuing love like her younger self would have wanted, she chose what she felt was the easier option and work hard to make "Bob's Burgers" a real restaurant in honor of the dream her father never got to see through. She feels that it would be wrong to even consider trying to find love again when her dad never got to finish his dream. Still, when she's alone, and no one's looking she still writes about the fantasies of love she wishes would be real for her as a stress reliever from all that life throws at her. She is a decent cook but she often laments about how she'll never be as good as her father was. Even so, she refuses to let his legacy die.

Zeke - Prince Zaveen Zaveen is not really a prince but a con artist that's flat-out broke. He does have an immensely wealthy inheritance coming his way but only if he gets married. His parents consider him a screw-up for never finding a talent that he could profit from. He spends his days flirting, having fun, and living his best life but all of this is to hide much of a loser he feels like and to fill the void of how lonely he actually is.

He later finds out he has a talent for cooking as a frog to the point Tiana brought is to tears because it reminds her so much of her dad's cooking. Zaveen also gets Tiana to dance again after giving it up years ago when her heart got broken. Tammy - Tottie La Bouf Tottie's a horrible, rich girl that has never heard the word "no" in her life. The only reason Tiana even associates with the girl is that Tottie's parents pay Tiana's mother to make so many of Totties dresses. Tottie tricked Tiana to kiss so many frogs in their youth because at first she couldn't be bothered to do the work of finding a frog prince herself but then she just kept tricking her into doing it just to find out how long it will take her to figure out she was being duped. Tottie causes kids to know Tiana as "frog lips" and the poor girl was never able to live it down even in her adult years. Tottie in the end would do only one unselfish thing for Tiana after years of being terrible to her. Linda - Lindora Lindora is Tiana's mother who makes all of Tottie's dresses. All she wants for Tiana is for her to be happy and live for herself. As long as Tiana is set on making her late father's dream come true the best she can do is hope that Tiana will finally let herself live for her own dreams (and maybe finally get some grandkids XD). Bob - Bob (you try to come up with a good name combination of Bob and James! LOL)

Bob is Tiana's late father. All he ever wanted was to be able to own a restaurant that sold creative burgers that made people happy. He died before he could ever see that dream come to be. He loved his family so much though that as long as he still had them he didn't care that he didn't live to see his restaurant dream come to pass.

The Fishoeder brothers - The Fishfenner brothers It just made perfect sense. I mean Calvin is a landlord so that's close enough to a real estate agent I suppose. lol Teddy - Leddy the alligator Seems like a decent enough pick. That's all the cast I can think of for this idea. I have no idea how to even include Gene and Louise in the story? I don't even know who to pick for Dr. Facilier either which is a shame. This idea all started because I thought "Never Knew I Needed" fit Zekina really well. So I thought, hey why not put the prompt idea out in the world to see if anybody digs it too. Though I did leave the story with a funny plot hole that could get called out by Tina herself that since Zaveen was never a real prince so she has no way of turning them both human again. So she has to shoehorn in an abrupt reason for it to work, oops! XD @tacosandtouchtanks

So fingers crossed someone gets inspired by this!

Behind Enemy Lines: ROMA!

Next up in our season preview series comes the hot freshness of ROMA! The trendy, hipster pick to challenge for the Scudetto this year. To dish the dirt on the team from the eternal city we have brought in our man Steve Sciavillo. 

Steve ‘has been a Roma fan since the mid-2000s and started writing for Chiesa di Totti (chiesaditotti.com) five seasons ago. Just over a year ago we also started a podcast called "Across the Romaverse" which can be found on all major platforms. On to the Q and A!

How do you like your teams transfer window so far? 

Steve:  I'm very happy with Roma's transfer market so far. I think Tiago Pinto has done an excellent job the last two seasons of clearing a lot of bad contracts and unwanted players off of Roma's books, which has made the incoming mercato possible. So far, Roma has only spent €7 million on incoming transfer fees (Zeki Celik from Lille), while bringing in Paulo Dybala, Nemanja Matic, and Mile Svilar on frees and Georginio Wijnaldum on loan. Meanwhile Andrea Belotti is set to arrive any day now on a free. It's been great from a business sense and very strong in terms of upgrading the roster to Jose Mourinho's liking.

What do you expect in the last few weeks of the window? 

Steve:  First and foremost, I expect Eldor Shomorudov, Gonzalo Villar, Carles Perez, Justin Kluivert, and Riccardo Calafiori to follow Jordan Veretout out the door. (A couple of them will probably be gone before this is even published.) Once Shomorudov heads to Bologna, then Roma will be able to make Belotti official. After that a fifth center back should arrive to provide more cover along the three man backline. Right now it looks like Eric Bailly on loan from Man United or Dan-Axel Zagadou on a free transfer are the two most likely arrivals. I still think that another CM needs to arrive to really complete the roster unless they plan on playing Pellegrini deeper than his usual trequartista position. I'm still holding out hope that Roma may swoop for Davide Frattesi late. Meanwhile, I don't think they sell Nicolo Zaniolo, but with Tottenham still sniffing around, you wonder how much would be too much to turn down.

What excites you for this season? 

Steve:  I mean there's a lot to get excited about for the upcoming season. Roma is coming off its first trophy in over a decade with one of the winningest managers in European history at the helm. The ownership is fully backing him with signings of players like Dybala and Wijnaldum. This to me means the minimum objectives for the season need to be a top 4 finish and return to the Champions League, along with deep runs in the Coppa Italia and Europa League. I think the added depth could allow that to happen, whereas last season the lack of depth hurt Roma in the league table as it went deep into the UECL.

What worries you? 

Steve:  For one I worry about the expectations being too high and putting too much pressure on the squad too soon. For good reason there's a lot of enthusiasm surrounding the team, but all of this Scudetto dark horse talk has me a little weary. Roma is a pressure cooker environment, which often weighs on the squad, so I just hope people keep their expectations in check until we see just how good this team is in the first few months. Secondly, on the pitch I worry about the possibility of a player like Dybala or Smalling missing considerable time due to injury given their past histories.

Your top 4 predictions for Serie A. 

Steve:  At the moment my top 4 sides are Inter, Milan, Juve, and Roma, but the rest of the transfer market still has to play out.

Anything from the rest of the league that most peaks your interest?

Steve:  A couple other things I'm keeping an eye on are: How much better is Juve than last year with the signings they've made? Can Lukaku bring Inter back to the top? Will Milan be able to repeat last season's feats? Does Atalanta bounce back without European commitments or was last season the beginning of the end of their competitive run? Can Monza push mid-table with the signings they've made?

Could we get some tickle monster headcanons for the matsuno boys? I can imagine there's an endless amount of shenanigans that goes down between the six of them and your headcanons in the past have been so cute!

Ahhh, yes, adorabe request! I need to catch up on requests so I promise there's more coming after this, I've just been slow at getting to them!

Osomatsu: He will tickle his brothers over anything and everything with the only person he has trouble wrestling down being Karamatsu, but the other four are fair game.

• Does it all the time to reinforce his place as the eldest brother, so of course, he's gonna make them as embarrassed as possible while he's at it. He's so sickeningly teasey and there's no method he won't try.  Pokes and squeezes? No stomach is safe. Raspberries? He'll go until they're both out of breath. Playfully noms? You bet your life his baby brothers are so cute he just wants to eat them up. He has no shame and he makes that everybody else's problem.

• Choro and Totty are his biggest victims. Choro because he's so uptight all the time, always trying to tell him what to do with his life, and Totty because he needs to be humbled once in a while. Plus, his place as the youngest makes him a natural target for big brother shenanigans.

• He's a massive, goofy douche when he's playing tickle monster, and he laughs along the whole time as well. Ticking him back also isn't satisfying, at least if you're doing it out of revenge, because even if his target manages to turn the tables on him, his grin stays just as shit-eating as ever. He is only a little bit ticklish, just enough for you to get a good snicker out of him, but he's only smiling that widely because he finds the whole situation hilarious and fun.

• Overall very embarrassing on purpose but he finds quite a lot of genuine fun in it. And while he does intentionally try to fluster the person he's tormenting with teases, he somehow also manages to make them less self-conscious about the whole thing with how nonchalant he is when it comes to that kind of intimacy.

Karamatsu: Cheer-up tickles are his favorite but he's not above using them to teach his younger brothers a lesson. He's less of a tease than Oso is though.

• Unlike Oso who's embarrassing on purpose, anyone he decides to target immediately gets put in their place when they realize just how easily he's able to wrestle them down, all while being excruciatingly gentle.

• He's not one to tease, but the satisfied smirk on his face is almost worse, to his brothers at least. If he is being particularly playful, like when he's tickling Jyushi or Choro, then he does tend to throw in a few teases here and there, but they're more akin to compliments and genuine affectionate cooing. Usually drones on the whole time in some flowery way about the importance of staying in good spirits and how it warms his heart to see a smile on their face, and it's not like they can just ignore him like they usually do when he's literally holding them on his lap and forcing said dazzling smile out of them.

• Choro and Jyushi both also happen to be his biggest victims. Choro because he's always stressing himself out and needs to lighten up, and Jyushi because they've always had a really good big brother-little brother relationship and Jyushi is one of the few that lets him lean into the big brother role often, so they play around a lot. He's also gotten more than a few black eyes from Ichi but that hasn't stopped him from being one of the few people in the house dumb enough to tickle him. He does so just long enough to get a real laugh out of his usually morose younger brother then quickly releases him and runs for it before Ichi has the chance to collect himself.

• Kara is a blast to retaliate against. He's extremely ticklish to the point where all that strength he has becomes completely useless and he falls apart into a blushing, guffawing mess as soon as you lay your hands on him. It's more adorable when you realize he doesn't fight back at all since he secretly really enjoys the closeness and bonding aspect of it, even if it means you get to see him lose his cool composure. You could tickle him back for as long as you'd like and he'd never once try to get away.

• Him and Oso have a little bit of a rivalry going on since they're both the only brother the other can't wrestle down easily. Kara has a strength advantage over Oso, so he's always the one to give Oso his comeuppance, but Kara is way more ticklish, so if Oso can get him down, Kara crumbles and becomes helpless. Their tickle fights are a lot more like actual tickle fights as compared to the one-sided torment they inflict on their younger brothers.

• Overall, very painful and boisterous the whole time but also super gentle and not one to overdo it like Oso or some of the others.

Choromatsu: He's not nearly bold enough to be a tickler. Instead ending up as the one most often on the receiving end of the tickling, usually from Oso and Kara. He tries really hard to assert himself as one of the eldest, but they've both collectively decided they don't agree (despite it technically being true) and feel the need to remind him just what a cute little brother he is to them, making him one of the only targets the two of them will team up together against.

• Extremely ticklish all over and finds being tickled very embarrassing, so he always goes red-faced before it even starts, nervously trying to back away or talk himself out of it. He's a serious flailer too, so usually one person has to sit on his back or waist to keep him from getting away because he's such a squirmy little guy.

• His frantic laugh is adorable and his voice goes high when begging for mercy because he gets so unbelievably flustered by it, even to this day.

• He has attempted to tickle Oso back on a few occasions but it didn't go too well with him and immediately had the tables turned, so he's not too eager to try again. He has successfully tickled Totty on a few occasions to cheer him up but precariously avoids the others when they're having tickle fights because he knows if they so much as hear him from the other room he'll be pulled into it because he's such an easy target. It doesn't help that the others show absolutely no restraint with him and will tickle him until he's wheezing then move on with their day like it's the most normal thing in the world, leaving him a tired mess on the floor.

• Ichimatsu: Another one who is far too reserved to be a tickler and avoids it like the plague. Similarly to Choro, he will struggle for his very life to try to get away before it even starts and when he's finally been wrestled down will consistently throw harsh punches and kicks at his brothers in an attempt to throw them off, all while yelling a wide variety of swears and threats

• The only people in the house to dare target him regularly are Karamatsu and Jyushimatsu. Jyushimatsu because he's the only one of his brothers that can get away with it without harsh backlash and Karamatsu because to him, whatever promises of violence Ichi makes through gritted teeth are more than worth going through for the smile and laughter that follow.

• He'll fight it for as long as he can but when he finally breaks his laughter is quiet and wheezy, often further muffled by his hands if he's able to cover his face or bury it in the carpet. Hiccups a lot as well because he's still fighting for his life to try to hold back but once the flood gates open it's impossible for him to regain his composure completely. Jyushi called him Gigglymatsu once, resulting in the only time Ichi has ever threatened his younger brother as well as sending a spine-chilling glare at anyone who dares to repeat the embarrassing nickname. Unfortunately for him they still refer to him as that in private.

• He gets tired quickly but his brothers know his limits pretty well so he never has to endure it for too long. Almost always falls asleep right after too, but when he finally wakes up whoever did the tickling had better have spent that time finding a good place to hide.

Jyushimatsu: He's a wholesome menace. Tickle monster Jyushi is as unpredictable as he is impartial. He'll pounce anyone for any reason but most of the time it's cause he sees them looking down. He's not a malicious tickler by any means, so once he's had his fill and is convinced they've been properly cheered up he's quick to let then go, even helping them back onto their feet.

• While Kara is the strongest when it comes to normal human standards, I think we all know Jyushimatsu has the unfair advantage of being Jyushimatsu. So there's no getting away from him once he's successfully pounced. He'll probably let you go if you ask nicely, but only if you can promise that you're feeling better!

• He is the resident tickle monster of the house, so he gets each of his brothers quite a lot, but his biggest victim is Ichimatsu. Mostly because he's the only one that can get away with tickling him without the threat of bodily injury. He's also wise enough not to do it when anybody else is around because he just wants to see his big brother's real smile.

• Very ticklish himself and loves tickle fights. Doesn't even bother to fight back when he's the victim besides excitedly kicking the floor or gripping their wrists. If he really wanted to throw them off he totally could but he finds the whole thing very fun and is more or less letting them take their turn. The only downside is that he sees it as an endurance competition so either you have to exhaust him or he's going to exhaust you, and chances are you don't have the advantage of being a near-endless ball of energy like he does.

Todomatsu: He and Choro are the resident ticklees of the house, but he's a little better at avoiding it than Choro is. Is targeted by everyone because of his attitude and because he's the youngest and he hates it with a passion. Maybe not quite as much as Ichi does but he still finds it humiliating, especially the way Oso is so sickeningly teasy about it.

• Deep down there's for sure a part of him that enjoys being treated like a little brother, even in an exaggerated teasing way, but his ego's too big to let him enjoy it like Jyushi does so he's gonna avoid it at all costs.

• Choro is probably the only brother he doesn't mind tickling him since he's not embarrassing like Oso, painful like Karamatsu, or overly obnoxious like Jyushi, but he'll take the fact that he even has a preference to his grave.

• Will tickle his brothers if someone else is helping him. Has tickled Karamatsu on a few occasions while Oso held him down in an attempt to get him to change out of his tacky fashion before going out together, but he most commonly teams up with Ichi and Jyushi so they can all get back at the older three.
