Just wanted to send out a quick message to the people who still follow me and pay attention to my posts.

I've been going through a really rough period in my life with my mental health. The worst period it's every been. I am getting help, so this isn't me asking for help or anything. I just wanted to let you know that I am slowly working my way back to writing and creating art.

I appreciate that you all have stuck with me through the long content droughts 😅. It means a lot the way that y'all have been so kind, patient and accommodating. I couldn't have asked to be part of a better community of artists and creatives.

Thank you! And if your struggling and at the end of your rope, please know you deserve to feel happy even if you don't believe. You deserve to be loved even if it feels like you're all alone. Please, please reach out to someone, even if you aren't sure, and don't be afraid to ask for help.

I'm not gonna lie and say that you're not gonna have struggles you have to go through on your own (you will). But there are always people who are willing to help get you the resources you need to get back to yourself.

Thank you all and one day I hope to come back better and stronger to create the art you all deserve for sticking it out following me 💖💖💖🦇✨

Fic numero two is Store Bought, a fluff and humor fic set in the universe of Near Dark 1987. It's about the Hooker vampire clan messing around in a Wal-Mart/Mall.

It's inspired by a post made by @msookyspooky you can find here. I would say this along with the original film are the source material for this fic.

I felt inspired by msookyspooky's post because it felt like something which would translate well into a fun short mini-fic. It would lend itself well to fleshing out the family dynamic between the vampire clan's characters. Mostly I just think it would be funny though.

I also think it's appealing to see characters in a horror film doing silly stuff like screwing around in a mall or another location they otherwise wouldn't normally be seen in.
