Inktober 2023 batch 2
Re-upload to correct a typo that snuck in there.
Day 11: Wander
More concept art for my Encanto/Wolfwalkers crossover. Will post this separately with some other pieces for the Encanto OC event.
Day 12: Spicy
I will never pass up an opportunity to draw spicy noodles. This is Wagler's pit viper (Tropidolaemus wagleri). This species is one of the most strongly sexually dimorphic species of pit viper in the world. Females are massive compared to males, and are colored completely differently. Males are mostly green, while females are black and yellow with white spotting.
Day 13: Rise
Dawn of the dawn zombie. Coffee is the only known cure, and some individuals are impervious to it.
Day 14: Castle
Not much to say about this. Lilo and Stitch build a sand castle. More practice with my watercolor markers.

Incredible Aliens - Snakes 🐍👽
Snakes are one of the most misunderstood creatures on the Earth. Snakes came before Homo sapiens, around 140 million years ago and Humans have developed a love hate relationship with snakes for over thousands of years. Some worship them as Gods and some fear, hate and kill them.
In reality Snakes are benevolent keepers of ecological balance in nature. They help maintain balance in the ecosystem, by consuming a varied range of animals. Without snakes, the rodent population will go out of proportion.
1. Siamese Peninsula Pit Viper (Trimeresurus fucatus)
2. Mountain Slug Snake (Asthenodipsas vertebralis)
3. Long-nosed vine snake (Ahaetulla oxyrhyncha)
4. Kopstein's Bronzeback (Dendrelaphis kopsteini)
5. Temple Pit Viper (Tropidolaemus wagleri )

While at Bako National Park I found this amazing Bornean keeled green pit viper (Tropidolaemus subannulatus) on a low branch in the understory of the coastal forest. So I approached it slowly and took this in situ image with a fisheye lens. Lately, I love to take in situ images as much as I can, leaving the animals as I found them, with almost zero disturbance. I still love to grab a frog or a snake here and there, but not when it’s not necessary at all. Shot with Nikon Z9, Nikon 8-15mm fisheye, Godox flashes. #insitu #snake #tropidolaemussubannulatus #herping #herpingtheglobe #serpente #pitviper #borneo #malaysia #sarawak #bakonationalpark @ilcp_photographers (presso Bako National Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/ChkOGLRK8Tu/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Viper love: Why not? National Geographic Explorer Tim Laman caught the cuddling reptiles while on assignment to document biodiversity in a national park in Indonesia. Glasgow’s Unlikely Saint: He was born to a “Witch” —and legend has it that his mom, with him in utero, was tossed off a cliff. St. Mungo survived, and would later found this Scottish city, which remembers him with festivities each January. (Pictured above, a modern-day depiction of the Saint on a Glasgow building.)
