Tsukihime would be better if Tohno Akiha was a middle aged to old lady ojou-sama. No I have not thought this through plotwise, this is purely for horny reasons.

Weekly Roundup: Prompts, but like, the previous week
Tsukihime
Smut, Ciel suggests a threesome to Shiki with Arihiko. It quickly devolves into Shiki/Arihiko realizing they're a lot more interested in fucking each other than Ciel.
Melty Blood
A look into what the other three members of the Back Alley Alliance get up to when Sion, Satuski and Riesbyfe aren't the ones in the spotlight
Fate/Stay Night
femboy!illya experiences the dangers of wearing a skirt
FGO
This is a bit of a weird one but you know that painting of a revolutionary inside a palace looking at how decadent it all is? That but Paxti arrives in Chaldea showing the same emotion over everything they actually have
fun fact: many herbs and spices are technically poisons that humans are just extremely resistant to. Relatedly, I want to see Guda, right after contracting with Mash and thus becoming immune to poison, going to ever more extreme and absurd lengths to actually get some flavor back in their food now that none of these damn spices DO anything anymore!
Nursery Rhyme asks Morgan to read to the Kindergarten Club. Morgan accepts only to find out today's book is Hungry Hungry Caterpillar
Smut, Pick one of the married servant couples in Chaldea (or several and be my absolute hero) and write what their first time looked like. Did Cleo top Caesar till he saw stars? How cheesy were Sigurd and Brynhildr without any idea of what was to come? What about Siegfried and Kriemhild? Did Xiang Yu and Paisen or Ryouma and Oryou have any troubles adjusting for interspecies action? Basically, just answer the question: We know what their relationships look like many, many years later, but what were they like at the start? Preferably with a LOT of romance and fluff. Please no NTR of any kind, and nothing involving bodily excretions that aren't spit or come (blood's on thin ice, but everything else is a major squick, so please, none of that...) but if you want to knock out some other prompts on here that wouldn't go against those limits at the same time, go nuts!
so you know that tonelico and Castoria have the almost same appearance (minus height maybe and eye color) Wouldn’t it be funny if a freaky Friday flip (aka body swap) happened? the problem is that it’s not like anyone would probably tell something’s off right away, thus chaos happens due to the swap
Ritsuka has no noble phantasm. Instead whatever closest servant available comes and loans their out.
Ritsuka wants to be more than "just friends" with Mandricardo. But unfortunately, mandricardo has both self esteem issues and the denseness of a harem protagonists, so all of Ritsuka's flirting attempt's go right out the window. End's in ritsuka deciding to fuck mandricardo to get their feelings across.
Kama's finally corrupt Ritsuka to their core, but simply corrupting them isn't the end, to finalize the process she must make the Master Humanity commit one of the biggest taboos in all of Buddhism, the killing of one's own father, the complete betrayal of the one who nurtured them, they must kill Doctor Romani for the sake of their love to Kama
Ritsuka accidentally calls Raikou "mom". And it's wholesome.
Oberon (due to being a lying liar that lies) and Ritsuka (due to a mixture of pride + fear) tries to get the other to confess i.e "Kaguya sama Love is War". With other servants in Chaldea watching the drama unfold.
Smut, Gudao getting "force"-femmed. There's absolutely NO WAY that he's into it and is DEFINITELY totally unwilling and he FOR SURE isn't entirely and totally into getting fat tits and killer hips and a chastity cage permanently locked around her dick HIS DICK HE MEANT HIS DICK. Bonus points the less convincing "his" protests are.
Three words: Barghest gets therapy.
Could I request a romantic tryst between Gudao and Caenis one night at the beach? Caenis is setting out to overcome their past trauma by seducing their master. Meanwhile, he is worried how Caenis is holding up over the summer event considering their disdain for the ocean because of said trauma. Whether it ends up with smut or just comfort is up to the writer. Please and thank you!
Smut, Final ascension Summer Kama's flames go out and she's suddenly naked in public. Time to see how long until she realizes (whatever the time is, it's definitely longer than she'd like!)
In a Grail War, elsewhen, elsewhere, a Master summons a wolfish looking lad with white hair- who looks quite upset to be here for some reason. "Servant Class Pretender Caster. The Name on my Saint Graph is... Fujimaru Ritsuka."
Upon hearing that his murder mystery lookalike was married to Euryale’s lookalike, Lancelot discovers that he doesn’t hate the idea of it. This leads to Lancelot awkwardly courting Euryale, while she’s completely caught off guard by someone trying to win her affection in an innocent way.
I'd love to be driven insane by an exploration of Guda, Daybit, and Camazotz as people who were forced to become something inhuman yet choose to still be "human" and do good - or at least, what they think is good - out of respect for those who have died, along with the memory issues they have because of the transformation.
Smut, incest, submitted this on the ao3 kinkmeme page but this blog seems to be a lot more hoppin' than the actual ao3 page for some reason? anyway please god someone write duryodhana/karna with duryodhana topping and that's it. make it as kinky as you want just no like piss or vore or anything.
Inspired by the recent fgo event: Blackbeard x Male!Guda romcom shenanigans/gay awakening?
Smut, Sei helps her new friend Mandricardo break out of his shell during the summer event by riding him like only a Berserker could
Smut, Yu-paisen getting fucked mercilessly by Xinag Yu while holding hands with Gudako who is getting fucked mercilessly by Red Hare
goredolf/mysterious heroine x. ideally wholesome. goredolf can get it
Honestly I just want to see Barghest being a pansexual disaster. There are a lot of very strong and very hot people in chaldea, and Barghest doesn't know what to do if this information.
Ritsuka is summoned into a grail war. Instead of angst though, Mash follows behind and forcibly turns the whole thing into an Emiya Gohan-esque timeline. Her Senpai already suffered in life and by God will she make sure they do not suffer in death.
Smut, The Beasts(Kiara, Kama, The Koyan Twins, Tiamat and Draco) all decide to have a tea party that definitely doesn't end in an all futa orgy
Enkidu has the biggest self-heal skill I'm the game (probably, don't @ me) so Barghest can safely indulge in biting off and eating large chunks of flesh and kidu and just go *10,000* and be fine. Smiling even.
Shuten and Ibuki look nothing alike despite being the same person. Gudako decides to ask one day what happened, and she quickly learned that all of her height and curves went down to somewhere else
I would like to ask someone to write something with Izou! I love my man and there is a serious lack of content for him. You can throw in some biting and aphrodisiac type of thing. Maybe/or some alcohol use, sexual frustration and the type. Thank you!
Shute Doji is a bottom. This is an issue for her, as there’s not a lot of bondage equipment or spines that can handle A-ranked legs.
Crossover
Chaldea finds a new and weird singularity, its really small, just the size of a city small and it radiates some weird power, its located in northern england in the year 1600, apparently its called "The Dungeons of Fear and Hunger" But i mean, how hard could it be?

Higurashi: Curse Killing Chapter 2
We got the obligatory Oyashiro-sama's curse backstory this chapter, and Keiichi doesn't really care about it. He wrote it off as Takano teasing him. He will not take the bait. This arc will not be about uncovering anything about the curse.
That card was probably either the 4 or 6 of hearts.
Tumblr media
Tomita's hair color is different this arc.
Tumblr media
I'm assuming Keiichi's temperature is in farenheit. 100.1 C is slightly above the point water boils.
You don't need to catch a husband. You already have Satoko. Also,
NIPA BEAM!!!
Tumblr media
I don't know anything about Tsukihime, but Chie is a parody of Ciel from it. I guess it's because Ciel provides hints when you get a bad end.
Anyway, here's Chie parodying Ciel, I guess.
Tumblr media
Keiichi's offhand remark got me thinking. What IS the layout of the school? All the students are in a single classroom. I suppose there's a storage room and an administrator office as well.
I think Satoko is implied to have some form of color-blindness and that's why she can't tell broccoli and cauliflower apart.
I tried testing an image of the two on a few color-blindness simulating websites and none of the types of color-blindness made their coloring even remotely similar. I even tried using Chinese cauliflower which is slightly yellow instead of white. But no matter what I tested, broccoli was just always notably darker than the cauliflower.
So whatever Satoko has, it's not one of the common types.
I'd hate being unable to distinguish them. Broccoli is great but cauliflower sucks.
Mion is going too far with the penalty game. Humiliation is one thing. Forcing someone to put their life in danger is not cool.

Hey, everyone. New fanfic is coming, college is taking up a lot of time, and I’m also currently trying to save as much Maria-sama ga Miteru, Tsukihime, Melty Blood and whatever other stuff I think of from dying with fanfiction.net.
Apologies for the inconvience. I will likely be dusting off an alias I haven’t used in quite a while and starting a new blog for my archival work. This ain’t my first rodeo, i’ve been archiving old pre-2017 vocaloid youtube for the inevitable day that the copyright algorithm smites it from existence, so I have some idea of what i’m doing (granted mass archiving youtube is easier than the method I’m using for ff.net currently).
More posts/info will be coming.
Thank you for your understanding.

Given that she is wearing a maid outfit and Shiki is from a high-class family, you’d think the students could figure out that she’s his maid with her referring to him as “sama”.
Also, I feel like him having a cute sister should not be reason for him to not know another girl, given that she’s his sister!
Like, it shouldn’t matter how attractive Akiha is, he should not view her that way at all, so there shouldn’t be an issue with people seeing that he knows Hisui. Of course, that’s just...I feel like I’ve lodged enough complaints towards that part of Tsukihime already.

Simblr Asks - TS3
Saw these questions by Teauke on my dash, and y’all know I love talking/ranting about The Sims; let’s go! ^0^
1. how big is your mods folder?
Tumblr media
That’s my mods folder with only mods/hacks/overrides; no CAS or build/buy CC installed. It’s a miracle that nothing conflicts, at least not as far as I can tell.
2. how would you describe your style? A sporadic mix of tv/gaming fandom-inspired conversions and recreations, of mostly fanciful and/or cultural themes & genres.
3. What is your favorite challenge? I’m a builder at heart, so I love recreating lots and interiors. Challenges where we find IRL rooms/scenes and remake them in TS3 are always the most fun for me.
4. do you make cc? if so, what kind? I make fanciful & cultural custom content (occult, sci-fi, boho, etc). I make CAS CC sometimes, but I prefer making buy/build CC.
5. what type of cc do you hoard? Not everything, but a lot. As creators retire and links die, I’m even more paranoid than I already was that CC will no longer be available anywhere.
6. what default eyes and skin do you use? I don’t use default-replacement skintones, but I do use Buhudain’s You Are Real mod.
Tumblr media
As for eye defaults, I absolutely love Moonskin’s Shiny Glass replacements.
Tumblr media
7. how many urls have you had, and what are the meanings behind them? All of my simming URLs on MTS, TSR, the officials, and Tumblr are some variation of my first name, Murfee Lee. Because yes, I am that darn creative.
8. who is your favorite gameplay blog? 9. who is your favorite storytelling blog? Ugh, there are too many good ones out there.
10. who is your favorite cc creator? All of my favorite creators retired years ago: DyM/Hekate999 (fantasy build/buy), Parsimonious (everything), Luna (everything build/buy), Qingshuangtongzi (Asian everything), Amethyst (Asian CAS), Art-Sims (CAS everything), etc. I swear, the day Sandy/ATS3 (everything build/buy) retires is the day I’m having a panic attack.
11. how do you edit your photos? Badly. Tweak the brightness & contrast and call it a effing day.
12. what is the last screenshot you took? It’s a surprise.
13. what do you do when you are unmotivated? I am never “unmotivated,” so much as I am distracted. I think the reason I’ve simmed so long is strictly because I’m always inspired by fandoms. If I get distracted by a tv/game, it becomes my next muse (aka current obsession). It’s not that I get unmotivated to finish the old stuff I pretty much abandon, it’s just that there aren’t enough hours in the day for me to do everything I want. Sometimes I return to older saves/gameplay. Most times I don’t though--unless someone messages me wanting to see it again (and that’s effing rare).
14. who is your current favorite sim? Sakura and Nasir are my alltime favorite sims. But I must admit that I patted myself on the back pretty dang hard when I created Tsukihime-Sama for my Moon Medicine gameplay. I love every sim I made for that gameplay (which I really need to finish one day, ugh), but my Lunar Moth Goddess? 👌
Tumblr media
15. who is your current favorite sim that is not by you? Every sim that @obscurus-noctem is out here sacrificing goats in order to create. It’s just disgusting how pretty everything on their blog is. Those mersims? Those graphics? That editing? Makes me effing sick.
16. recreate someone else’s sim in your style. I think I saw a challenge like this a few months/years ago, but never did it. But I DID do the Picrew version.
17. do you talk about sims with people in real life? One of my professors plays SimCity. Naturally, we bonded over how wack EA is. ^_^
18. how many of the packs do you own? All of them, except the Stuff Packs. Barring Fast Lane and Movie Stuff, none of the other SPs are worth the price; it’s just build/buy/CAS CC any MaxisMatch creator.could make for free. I’ve always felt that way about SPs, which is why I never bothered with them in TS1 or TS2 either. I will say though, that TS4′s SPs are something else entirely, which brings me to #24 (see below).
19. how many posts do you have on your blog currently? 2764. JESUS.
20. how many drafts do you have on your blog currently? 363. U_U And most of those are CC sets & gameplay posts I never finished.
21. how many posts are in your queue currently? It’s a secret. ^_^
22. have you ever moved blogs? Never. I never even changed my theme or URL.
23. are you in any sims related discord servers? Yes, the Creators Cave, but I effing hate Discord; it’s just a royal pain to navigate, IMO.
24. what are your thoughts on the most recent pack? (paranormal) Speaking of Stuff Packs!
RANT ALERT!
If anything, TS4′s SPs are doing way too much (adding new gameplay, careers, lifestates/NPCs, lots, etc!? WUT.) Or rather, its EPs aren’t doing nearly enough. I love that TS4′s SPs add meaningful content. But if they’re raising their bar, that means the Expansion Packs need to rise by the same degree, to stay relevant, if anything.
But EA, in their infinite ineptitude, seems to be scaling back with their EPs! Cutting what should be 1 cohesive EP into multiple SPs & GPs piecemeals the content and cheats people out of money, by having us pay more for less! The TS4 SPs do a lot, yes, but now let’s talk about the Paranormal SP for example:
Tumblr media
Paranormal Stuff does perhaps the most any SP in The Sims 1/2/3/4 ever has, and has by far the most worth for its money...but at a dire cost:
- the career only has 5 levels instead of 10 (thus being nowhere as deep as TS3′s combination of the Ambition EP’s Ghost Hunter and the Store’s crystal ball--which links with the Supernatural EP’s Spellcasting skill)
the crystal ball is a 1-trick pony
unlocking Bonehilda is tied to grinding skill/career levels, only for her to do EFF ALL once she finally arrives (and her face looks like melted cookie dough WTF)
most of the gameplay is tied to the pack’s new lot/venue
and the ghosts are still meh
So rather than TS4 having an actual Supernatural EP, instead it has the ok-but-disappointing Realm of Magic Game Pack (which I’ve already ranted about), the watered-down Paranormal Stuff Pack, and the INCREDIBLY OP Vampires Game Pack (which I’ve salivated over). That’s already $40--the cost of TS3′s Supernatural Expansion Pack, mind you--but with the glaringly absent inclusion of Fairies, Werewolves, AND Zombies. O_O WHAT THE HELL, EA. To get the full Supernatural experience in TS4 is gonna end up running people not $40, but perhaps DOUBLE, if werewolves & fairies get their own GPs (unless EA waters them down in SPs, which would still be anywhere from $50-60). EA is robbing people blind.
25. how many hours have you played sims? I have no idea, no doubt thousands.
26. if you play gameplay, do you play with mods? See #1 above
27. what’s the farthest you’ve gotten in a challenge? See #3 above.
Thanks for reading!

The Most Memorable Anime Dance Sequences of All Time!
Anime is an amazing medium because of the way things flow and look on screen, like when action sequences suck us in with amazing animation and quieter scenes can stun with captivating visuals. Perhaps one of the least appreciated parts of anime, though, are the amazing dance sequences that can pop up in our favorite shows and even in their opening and endings. Dance can really be an amazing medium on its own, and with the right animation and music, anime dances can seem almost magical! But which ones are the best? I’ve gathered what I think are the 10 best overall anime dance sequences, and I’m ranking them based on their style, choreography, and their overall ability to stick in our minds. If you’re looking for a new dance to try out with your friends at a cosplay gathering for this year’s con circuit, or maybe you just appreciate a good dance as much as I do, hit the dance floor and get ready to show off some sick moves!
10) Kill Me Baby Ending Dance Sequence
Coming in at number 10, I’ve got the dance from the Kill Me Baby ending theme “The True Secret of Our Feelings.” This unique duet encapsulates the odd mood and style of the series, with a unique blend of comedy that is wholly its own. While it is a unique and quirky dance, that’s the reason I found it so memorable! Seeing this dance at the end of every episode was a great way to cap off any episode, as well as a great little bit of music and dancing that captured what Kill Me Baby was all about: weird, cute comedy! One of the things I really appreciated about this dance was the way that the moves keep specific timing with the beat, which really showed a level of though similar to the sometimes subtle punchlines of the show.
9) Sgt. Frog Ending Dance Sequence
Fittingly at number 9 spot is the 9th ending song of Sgt. Frog, “Spinning, Turning, Once Around!” When this song hit during the anime’s broadcast, it became a huge sensation online, spawning lots of people doing their own group renditions of the dance. At first it might seem like the song is more memorable and catchy than the dance, which is why it’s a bit lower on our list than others, but the dance itself is quite fun and actually very subtle! Much of it is focused on specific, timed movements between a group, and keeping up that manic pace as the song’s tempo increases is part of the fun. The parody videos people have made are almost as entertaining as the original (especially to see how people interpreted Tamama’s entrance into the ending!), so for that reason alone I knew I had to put it on this list.
8) Free - Iwatobi Swim Club-'s Ending Sequence
Free! -Iwatobi Swim Club- certainly made a huge splash (sorry, not sorry) when it hit the scene a few years ago, and people were instantly sucked into the sports and non-sport drama of the swim club boys. But perhaps one of the most memorable parts of the series was it's absolutely off the wall ending sequence, featuring cast members alternating between dancing in a night club and an Arabian themed hunt for an oasis! While some might argue that certain viewers were more interested in the amount of abs on display in the ending, I’ll say that while that was great, the oddball dance sequence and fun visuals of the ending are what really caught our attention. Free! itself seems to have owned up to the silliness of the first ending, as the recent movie had the guys creating a themed recruitment video in something of a fun callback to the original season’s ending visuals. The night club scene was so popular, it even inspired some neat merchandise for fans to buy! And while fans will probably argue over who the best Free! boy is, I have to say that Haru’s hair flipping to the beat in this ending is pretty show stealing!
7) Carnival Phantasm's Opening Dance Sequence
The TYPE-MOON series Fate/Stay Night and Tsukihime have spawned countless fans between all of the various versions of anime spin offs from the original games, but none perhaps captured the madcap silliness the fandom had invented better than the Carnival Phantasm series. A selection of comical shorts featuring characters from both the Fate and Tsukihime series, the show kicked off each episode with a high energy and catchy theme song that was accompanied by the main characters of each series dancing along in time. Seeing Saber, Rin, Arcueid and many others dancing cutely was enough to get this on our list, but the huge group dance scenes in between those really helped cement this one in place. Carnival Phantasm was filled with callbacks to events in both series, their anime, and even long-time in jokes, and the opening copied that as well, with odd little easter eggs for careful viewers to spot. Although Carnival Phantasm never got an official release outside of Japan, the opening song was popular enough to inspire some fan reactions. If you take a look at it, let us know if you can spot the Assassin cut-out…!
6) JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable Opening Dance Sequence
As much as I would like to put this next entry on the list with “Koichi pose” and leave it at that, there’s definitely more to be said about this one. Our number 6 spot goes to JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable’s first opening song, “Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town,” featuring cast members dancing along to the song as they introduce themselves. Diamond is Unbreakable really exuded a specific bouncy charm and vibrancy to it that made it different from previous JoJo seasons, and this opening song really helped to sell that mood. Starting off with Josuke, Koichi, Jotaro and Okuyasu on a stage like a boy band, the song kept up that high energy throughout, making it a catchy tune with somewhat even more memorable dance moves. Although it isn’t as thoroughly choreographed as some of our other entries, it would be hard to really forget certain scenes here, and the way it fits the series is a huge plus to us.
5) Blood Blockade Battlefront Ending Dance Sequence
youtube
Blood Blockade Battlefront was a series that dripped style from the way it was animated to the character designs, and the ending theme, “Sugar Song and Bitter Step,” had an amazing segue of dancing scenes that really helped cement that in our minds. Much like Sgt. Frog, the ending of Blood Blockade Battlefront spawned lots of homage videos from fan artists and cosplayers recreating the dance steps with their own unique takes on it. Perhaps one of the most memorable bits of the whole sequence, though, is the way in which it helped sell character interactions and relationships even in the ending song; watching the various ways Zapp interacted with people, for example, or the little cues to season one’s major plot points in various parts was a hidden treat that rewarded keen viewers attention. The song itself matches the jazzy dance steps and costuming as well, making it an overall catchy and fun sequence to watch over and over again!
4) Uta no Prince Sama Ending Dance Sequence
Considering that it’s a series about handsome idols doing amazing song and dance routines, it probably doesn’t surprise you to see Uta no Prince Sama’s “Maji Love 2000%” make it onto our list at number 4. The dance is so fluid and stylish that you could easily see a real idol group easily perform something similar, and the accompanying fan screams during specific moments really made the whole scene amazing. Plus, as the pay off to a tense and dramatic season finale, the whole dance really felt like an amazing reward for viewers to see. I’ll be honest with you all: there are a few scenes in this dance that I enjoy quite a lot, and it probably isn’t hard to figure out why! If you like your idols handsome and with good rhythm, you should consider checking out Uta no Prince Sama!
3) Vegeta's Bingo Dance from Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods
This next dance caught us so off guard when I first saw it that I think you’ll agree it deserves a high place on our list: Vegeta’s bingo dance! First seen in the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods movie and then again in the Dragon Ball Super anime adaptation of it, Vegeta’s desperate attempt to distract Beerus from destroying Earth was perhaps never so apparent as it was in this madcap dance sequence. Vegeta’s improvisational song and dance are pretty amazing on their own, but perhaps the most memorable thing about them is what it meant for the Dragon Ball series as a whole: a marked shift in Vegeta’s character and personality. Super really focused heavily on Vegeta’s growth early on, letting us see his change from the cold hearted and distant “Prince of all Saiyans” of Dragon Ball Z into a man who, while still surly, really cares for his family and other people enough to throw away his pride and put on a ridiculous dance to save the day. I love Dragon Ball Super and I love Vegeta, and this dance really just put a big bow on why!
2) Torture Dance from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind
A relative newcomer compared to the rest of the list, our number 2 spot goes to that torture dance scene from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind! One of the best things an anime adaptation can do is take things that it’s source material did, and give it a unique spin that only an animated series can do, and David Production really knocked it out of the park with this! Changing a single page set of panels into a minute long visual trip was amazing! It also gave us a little fun insight into the relationships of the Bucciarati gang; we see goofball Narancia start off, only to have the slightly more serious Mista join in, followed by the extremely high strung Fugo working together in perfect harmony as their torture target suffers in the background. The original song, “Canonzi Preferite,” created to go along with the dance is another great touch, as are the trippy visuals between dance steps. It’s a real treat to watch this dance scene over and over again, and it’s something that really helped me find my love for Part 5 immediately!
1) The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Ending Dance Sequence
If you’ve read this far and asked “Where is it?” you’ve probably already predicted what's in the #1 spot: the famous “Hare Hare Yukai” dance from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya! It may be hard to imagine that it’s been over 13 years (ohmygod, it’s been THAT LONG?) since this song first hit the anime world like a tidal wave, and it’s dance soon became a convention staple for groups of cosplayers! It’s hard to deny the memories of seeing fan renditions of the dance pop up on the early days of social media, and the enduring popularity of the dance sequence really says all there is to say about why it’s my number one pick. Even if we discounted the history now attached to the dance, it’s hard to argue that there’s a stronger contender on our list; the song is matched perfectly by the movements of the cast, and it gives off an air of natural movement that’s hard to match! Many other dances on our list are broken up by other strings of animation stills or cut aways, Hare Hare Yukai got an entire minute of pure dancing down the line, with impressive choreography considerations for its age. It’s pretty hard to deny: Haruhi is still on top when it comes to dancing!
And there you have it! I hope you enjoyed this collection of amazing anime dance sequences, and if you feel so inclined, maybe you can dance along yourself at home or at your next convention outing. Just remember to limber up, practice, and dance like the blinds are closed; after all, dancing is about having fun, so hit the floor and get to it!
Have a dance that you think should be on this list? Let us know in the comments!

The Descent and Decay of a Young Man Into the Night
Table of Contents
Hello there. My name is Arrow. I am writing a Tsukihime fanfiction. Consider it something of an alternate retelling of the story, but I tried my best to write with the idea that folks who have only the slightest idea what a Fate is can enjoy it too. This first chapter was written a good while before the ones to follow and while I’ve touched it up a bit, this may show. Please bear with me.
Anyway, with that out of the way, let us begin.
Chapter 1: The Dream
I dreamed. It was just a single instance, a moment. A field of white flowers. The full moon. A woman with long flowing hair, more beautiful than anything I've ever seen. My heart pounded. My blood boiled. I felt like I could be in this moment forever.
Then I woke up. I don't know who I was in the dream, but now I am just Shiki Tohno again. Only son of Makihisa Tohno, elder brother of Akiha Tohno. Heir apparent of the Tohno family of Misaki Town. A dull existence in all honesty.
“Good morning, Shiki-sama.” Before I could rub the sleep from my eyes, Hisui was before me, a towel in her arms. She was the second of the two red haired sisters that serve in the mansion as maids and honestly of the two she was the one I was less familiar with. She usually tended to Akiha and her stoic and formal demeanor made her come off rather distant. “Good morning Hisui, I didn't expect for you to be the one to fetch me. Is Kohaku busy?”
“Master Makihisa required her services.” She paused, unsure of how to elaborate. I don't think even she knows what Father asks Kohaku to do. Kohaku says its medical related, but neither Hisui or I are privy to the details. “Regardless, sister is preparing breakfast now. Please be up to the dining room before too long.”
A quick shower later, I made my way to the dining hall, I can't help but notice the mansion was oddly...empty. The only people sitting at the table were father and Akiha, with Hisui and Kohaku standing behind them.
“Good morning father.” I gave a small bow to Makihisa, who simply nodded and sipped his coffee. “Good morning sister.” I nodded to Akiha, who didn't seem to respond.
I took another look around. “Are we the only ones here now? Has Kugamine finally departed?” One by one, the branch families that used to live here in the mansion have moved on. The first was Kouma Kishima, who departed from the family around a decade ago now for reasons I don't really know. Father simply says that the two of them had a disagreement. But after he left, like clockwork the other branches started falling off as well; by this year only the Kugamine clan remained in good terms with our main branch. Tonami Kugamine was in talks with wedding Akiha, an arrangement Father only seemed to humor due to the Kugamine family's deep pockets. It definitely isn't because of Tonami Kugamine's charming personality.
The fact that Tonami and Akiha were cousins didn't seem to enter the equation for the older men, but Akiha and I definitely noticed.
“We would not be so fortunate. Father merely sent them away to keep up appearances. They will visiting on the weekends to keep up with the finances.” There was a clear tone of bitterness in her voice, as if she wished that he'd just put his foot down and throw the Kugamines out for good.
“Do you dislike the Kugamine family, Akiha?” Father's seemingly innocent words had a backing to them that Akiha recoil. A unspoken disapproval of my sister's open disgust to fellow members of the family.
She regained her composure instantly. “I merely disapprove of Tonami Kugamine's crass personality and his advances.” Father nodded, seemingly approving of her response. Though I never knew what was going on in his head.
Breakfast was otherwise a quiet affair. Despite not being the heir, Akiha had also been raised to be exceptionally proper and elegant, if not cold. I don't consider myself a nearly cut out for that life, but I was raised to carry my self with pose and formality as well. And Father, Makihisa...he always watched, as if looking for some imperfection in either of us.
Before long, breakfast was over and I was left with Kohaku as we prepared for my leave for school. I really didn't need Kohaku for any of this but she always insisted on checking and double checking every meal I take and every fold on my uniform, a chipper smile on her face as she does so.
“Kohaku, can I ask you something?” The dream. It still pounded in my mind, even as the night is replaced by day.
“Oh, I'm sorry I wasn't there to wake you up Shiki-san! You know how it is with Master Makihisa. Always needing something.” She laughed but the laugh seemed fake, like a laugh track going off. She always laughed like that when Father is involved.
“No its not that. I...had a dream.” I stared into the ceiling, the sight of the full moon still burned into my mind. “A dream?” Kohaku brought me back to the reality of the Tohno Mansion. “Of a woman.” “Well you are that age but I didn't think you'd share that with me.”
OK that one was good. I couldn't help but smile. “No nothing like that. I dreamed of a woman standing in the moonlight in a field of white flowers. That doesn't sound like much but I remember if vividly, as if it was a memory of long ago.”
Kohaku was silent for a moment, deep in thought, then smiled. “Maybe its a reflection of some past life, maybe its just a dream. Either way, you shouldn't stress yourself trying to obsess over its meaning. Dreams are dreams, you know?”
I laughed again. “Perhaps you are right. Sometimes you surprise me when you say smart things like that?”
“Are you saying you think I'm stupid, Shiki-san?” Her teasing voice droned on in my ear.
“No, no of course not.”
“Hehe, you better not be.” Our teasing went like this every morning. Kohaku always went with a smile on her face so its easy to assume she's a fool, but she's probably the smartest person in the manor.
Honestly, Kohaku and Arihiko are perhaps the only people I feel confident opening up to like this. Maybe because they are the only ones who see me as not just the Tohno family heir? Or maybe they are just the only ones I've spent enough time with.
Arihiko Inui has been my friend (and according to him, my rival) since middle school. He approached me one day and just kept hanging around since I never explicitly turned him away. I asked him why he decided to befriend a rich loner like me, and he just said it was because it looked like I was missing something.
Speaking of which, I couldn't help but wonder what Arihiko would think of my dream? He's not really the insightful type, but maybe he'd get a laugh out of it.
I found Arihiko in the usual type of place, leaning against the wall of some building out in town. He tries to look like he was a delinquent playing hokey, as conspicuously inconspicuous as possible, but I knew he was waiting for me. Without fail, he quickly leaped up and walked towards me as I passed by.
“Good morning Tohno-kun.” Without skipping a beat, moving like he was always walking next to me.
“Morning.” Going to get right to the chase. “Arihiko, you probably won't believe it but I dreamed of a girl last night.”
“A girl? Really? Surrounded by maids and still dreaming of girls?” I should have expected that. “Well, hm. What kind of girl was it?”
“Uh? It was...a foreign girl? A blonde European princess maybe?” There was something ELSE about the woman in my dream, something striking, but I couldn't put it to words. Something...otherworldly maybe?
“Why would you be dreaming of foreign princesses? Reading weird novels? Maybe hanging out with Ciel-senpai too much?”
Ciel....senpai? I guess it'd make sense that Arihiko would try to woo one of the third years, but he'd gloat about it instead of just casually dropping the name, right? But why would he act like I'd know her? “The imagery was vivid. Full moon, a field of white flowers... Kohaku says it might be a reflection of a past life.” He laughed. “The cheery maid? She really thinks it's that deep?” “She also thinks it's just a dream.”
“You want to ask Sacchin about it? Or maybe Ciel-senpai?”
There was that 'Ciel-senpai' again.
“Maybe. Yumizuka-chan is into those romances, right? She might be able to read more into it.” To be completely honest, I feel a little embarrassed about bringing something like this up to Satsuki. I have only been friends with Satsuki Yumizuka for a few months now; we first met when I broke down a door to save her and her sports team from the freezing cold during the winter and beyond that we've just kinda talked here and there.
At the gates of the school, Satsuki was waiting for us. She had started doing that recently, even though Arihiko had a tendency to drag me here and there along the way and we'd thus be running late...meaning Satsuki was allowing herself to run late as well.
“Tohno-kun, good morning.” She perked up and began walking towards me as soon as she saw us. Arihiko gave an exaggerated scoff. “Aren't you forgetting someone Sacchin?”
“O...oh. I'm sorry. Good morning Inui-kun.” She replied completely earnestly, having failed to read his joking tone at all.
“I'm just pulling your leg Sacchin, don't worry.” He turned back to me. “I'm quite taken with the Tohno Prince myself.”
His words caused Satsuki pause, her face burning read. “Inui-kun, it's not...”
“Don't read too much into it Yumizuka-chan. He's simply playing with us.” I smiled at her, ready to change the subject. “Were you waiting for us again?”
With my words, Satsuki's blushing face seemed to calm down a small bit. She simply nodded. “I didn't want you to be late again, so I thought I'd keep an eye out for you.”
Arihiko rubbed his nose. “I didn't even dick around today; we got time to burn with Ciel-senpai and everything.”
I sighed. “You keep mentioning this Ciel-senpai like I know who that is.” Satsuki and Arihiko both just looked at me like I was a ghost. Satsuki spoke up. “You...don't know Ciel-senpai?” “No, why? Is she a friend of yours, Yumizuka-chan?”
The two just stared at me, a complete lose of words. The awkward silence was broken by a unfamiliar yet nostalgic voice ringing out from within the school grounds: “Good morning Sacchin. I take it this is the Shiki Tohno you and Inui-kun keep telling me about?”
The voice belonged to a young bespectacled woman with short black hair and pale skin. She looked to be a year or two older than us and her voice had the hint of an accent to it. Did someone like this always exist at this school?
“Y...yes! I'm sorry, I kept meaning to introduce you. Tohno-kun, this is Ciel-senpai. She's the president of the tea ceremony club. I've been helping her mend the fences around the school and she's been helping with my club too...”
I couldn't help but notice something...odd about that. Before, she was surprised I didn't know Ciel, but now she is apologizing for not introducing us? Satsuki was a bit in the clouds sometimes, but this is scatterbrained even for her.
“Are you confused, Shiki Tohno? How could it be that you have never run into this cute upperclassman before?” Ciel gave a warm smile. “Don't worry about it too much. I'm actually new to this city, I've only transferred a short while ago.”
I nodded. “That makes sense I suppose. I'm honored to meet you then, Ciel-senpai.” I already felt completely at home with Ciel, in spite of myself. Seeing how she's already befriended the shy Satsuki and the anti-social Arihiko, perhaps this was just the kind of person Ciel was?
“Since you have time to spare, could you three help me mending these fences? It seems more of them were broken in the recent storm than I thought.” The four of us spend our time doing handiwork until classes started, so the topic of my dream thankfully never came up. Even though Kohaku insisted it was just a dream, it still felt a little too intimate to bring up to Satsuki or especially Ciel. No, something at the back of my mind told me that bringing it up to Ciel would be a terrible idea even.
Maybe I should just let the dream fade to that back of my mind.

Note
hey, you mentioned kohaku being your favourite character ever! i'd be super curious to hear why (also, thoughts on rin tohsaka?)
That’s a kinda intimidating question because I really don’t write about Kohaku as much as I should. Just a heads-up, I might be misremembering things, as I haven’t read Tsukihime since 2014 and absolutely dread the thought of the revisiting Hisui’s ending precisely because I’m afraid of the idea me being misremembering Kohaku as someone better than she actually is.
Spoilers for both Tsukihime and Fate/stay Night.
Back when all the route girls were introduced, Kohaku quickly became my favorite for her great humor, the narration’s focus on her smile and by her avoiding all of the bad maid tropes. The last one of these was very reinforced by putting her in contrast with Hisui, who embodied all of them. Back at the time I still had no clue to how much I would like Kohaku, but quite sure she would be the best by the end (although Ciel really made me doubt that in her route), specially with some great jokes she had in Arcueid’s route (”Shiki-san, how can you do something so cruel to Akiha-sama? Next time you’re going to bring your lover home, please bring someone more normal!”).
Then comes Hisui’s route, where we slowly start getting hints of Kohaku’s past, with the reveal that she doesn’t feel pain, Shiki’s memories about the girl in the window and whatnot. This all leads to shocking reveal of the Fujou twin’s past, their assigned role as Makihisa’s Empath, how Kohaku took the responsibility all to herself in order to protect Hisui, how Kohaku learned to how make the magic drugs to stop feeling pain and how the twins “swapped faces”.
It was really heavy, tragic and character-defining defining, so I thought the best I would get was seeing this from Kohaku’s own perspective, specially since this was as far as Hisui’s character went, but oh boy, how wrong I was. Kohaku is much, much more than that.
Hisui route ends with the reveal that Kohaku masterminded the demise of the Toono family and her motives are pretty obvious but I never expect the way she felt about it. Kohaku describes herself as not as a human, but as Makihisa’s emotionless doll. Kohaku had to constantly intake pain-removing drugs in order to endure Makihisa’s (and latter SHIKI’s) abuse and this state of not feeling anything disconnected her from her emotions. Kohaku admits that, to some extent, she did all of this because it made her feel human a little.
What you would expect from this premise? Kohaku channelling her remnants of humanity into hatred for the Toono family and orchestrating her revenge. Was that what really was on her mind? Nope, Kohaku (and Kinoko himself, as Fate/Grand Order is a great evidence of) has a much more positive definition of what it means to be human. Kohaku expresses her humanity through fairness, empathy and a desire to make the situation better.
Even though, Makihisa singlehandedly completely ruined her life, she acknowledges that he didn’t do it out of sadism or perversion, he did because he really had no other choice in order to keep himself from inverting and causing even bigger harm to everyone. Kohaku sees Makihisa as much of a victim of this tragedy as herself. And this makes sense with her backstory in mind. After some point, she stopped feeling anything and she could see during her sessions was Makihisa’s pained expression of being forced to do that to a 9-years-old. SHIKI had it worse, having to wrestle for his will with his inversion, Roa and Kohaku’s drugs all at the same time. And then there’s Akiha. At some point, Akiha figured the entire plan out but still went along with everything Kohaku said because she honestly believed her family deserved Kohaku’s punishment for everything they did to Kohaku. Being Toono truly is suffering.
Despite everything they did to her, she insist couldn’t bring herself to hate them because she fully understood their circunstances and they respect her wishes of protecting Hisui. She never did what she did out of hatred, but as an attempt to make everyone happier. The Toono blood brought unavoidable tragedy not only to the Fujous, but also to themselves. The Fujous could never find happiness in contact with the Toonos and the Toonos themselves can never be happy. Therefore eliminating the Toonos was a course of action who would benefit everyone. Then the plan would end with Kohaku offing herself, leaving Shiki and Hisui to live happily together. It was all a perfectly rational decision for the sake of everyone involved.
That’s a much more deeply layered motive and that alone was enough to cement Kohaku’s first place in my character ranking. But the Kohaku ride is still not ever yet. Kohaku’s character is even more layered than all of that. I would never expect it to have even because all of that so perfectly convincing, but that’s exactly the point. The lie had to be perfectly convincing because the one Kohaku was decieving with it was herself.
The moment Shiki gave Kohaku her ribbon back was the moment was the moment she crumbled. Her bursting emotions crushed her mask of rationality. And, oh dear,  did that destroy my heart. There she is forced to admit that she always hated him. When she was young, she was just jealous of how Shiki was adopted to live a happy life with the siblings, but when he had to leave, Kohaku, fair as she is, decided to give him the ribbon as a parting gift so they can get along better if he ever comes back. Years later, after she had already forgot him, Shiki comes back and she grows to hate him again for much deeper reason. That is because Shiki is happy to be with Akiha and Shiki would be sad if she was gone. His presence contradicts her idea that “everyone will be better off with the Toonos dead” and is a constant reminder for her that she is lying to herself about being righteous instead of just investing in personal revenge.
Kohaku deeply empathizes with the Toonos suffering, the entire process of her revenge was deeply painful to her, specially the part concerning Akiha, who was kind enough to completely let Kohaku destroy her due to her own empathy with Kohaku. But despite all that, Kohaku was still able to push through due to her belief that what she was doing was right, but Shiki, by just unawarely being there, took that away from her. That’s why she made that bet with herself to stop everything she was doing if Shiki returned her ribbon. Then, when Shiki finally did it after everything was over, all that did that amplify Kohaku’s guilt and self-loathing even more, to the point she really couldn’t take it anymore. Kohaku’s tragedy really, really hurt.
I really can’t think of any scene that came even close to have the same levels of layered characterization and emotional impact as Hisui’s route’s ending. That hit me extremely hard.
After a while to recompose after thinking too much about Kohaku, let’s go the next subject: Rin Toosaka.
I really like her overall personality and her relationship with Shirou (both of them). I’m not a big fan of tsunderes, but I do believe it’s relatively easy to make them good and Toosaka is my go-to example of how. First of all, her tsun is expressed not by distasteful aggressiveness, but by elegant dry-witted snark, which replaces what I dislike about the archetype with something I like. The other part of what makes it great is the person she is tsun towards: Shirou (both of them). Pairing the tsundere with a nice or oblivious guy is real waste, but pairing her with someone who is just as tsundere towards makes for a really fun dynamic, always great to watch. It works wonders and I can really tell because my best irl friendship is exactly like that.
Another thing I like about her relationship with Shirou (the master) is how equal they feel. Saber feels above Shirou in their relationship because she is the ideal hero he aspires to be and Sakura feels below Shirou due to how emotionally dependant she is, but with Toosaka it feels like they are on the same level, growing each other together. I still prefer Shirou with Sakura though.
As for her character on her own, she is kinda underwhelming. As the most standard mage on Fate/stay Night, her motivations are the ones that the least personal and she is kinda out of focus even in her own route, where she completely loses the spotlight to Shirou (both of them).
But, like most of F/sN’s characters, she gets much better in Heaven’s Feel. With Sakura involved, her motivations get a lot more personal, she gets a great fight scene with the jewel sword and has by far her best scene at the end of it. After completely defeating Sakura, she raises her sword to finish her and just… stops there. After spending the entire route berating Shirou for being too soft to kill and letting his personal feelings get in the way of his responsibilities, she realizes she also can’t do it and admits with a pained smile that she has no right to criticize Shirou anymore. It was an excellent moment.
