science, but specifically biology. idk if they like the other science units they'll have through high school but. a close second is art class, because despite not being the artist of the family like their step-mom and brother, I think they find art calming despite being mediocre at it. plus it feels like a break from other classes

Do you work on multiple wips or stick to one fic at a time?

I have the worst case of "multiple wips opened in scrivner & google docs simultaneously." At the moment I think I have seven active wips and then about fifty nonactive that are just. Sitting there.

Do you write scenes in order, or do you jump around?

It depends on the fic! If I'm writing a very structured, already outlined fanfic, then I try to generally go in order. Most of my oneshots tend to be non-linear or have a more flow-y thought processes so those I'll jump around with.

Do you outline your fics?  If yes, how detailed are your outlines?  How far do you stray from them?

If it's more than one chapter, yes! I usually put together a Beat-Sheet or have a bullet-pointed list of things I wanna hit. I generally end up straying from the outline though, because I literally have no control over my own writing.

astarion and makaria: they’re both cold natured, so they get all tangled up under at least two blankets. like i can see this very clearly in my head and if i knew how to draw this i would. his chin’s on the top of her head, she’s got one arm tucked up against between them and the other draped over his waist, his arms wrapped around her… 🥰 even if she doesn’t sleep, she’s very comfortable

shadowheart and makaria: i like when shads is a shorty so she gets to be little spoon and makaria uses her as a little heater :) arms around shadowheart’s waist, one leg hooked around hers, a blanket or two on top. i do think shadowheart is a blanket-stealer also, idk why but i just Feel it. makaria would be if not for shadowheart being so warm that she’d rather hug her than steal a blanket

soup tell me funny hal facts i need something positive in my day

Sits down. Okay so (thinking really hard)

One time hal found a space rock that smelt like chili (his favorite food) and he ate a chunk of it and went mmm chili my favorite and then flew off into space and this was never ever addressed again.

I dont know if this holds true for the other lanterns, but for hal specifically, him saying the green lantern oath is treated subtextually like he's jerking it. It makes me laugh every single time bc hes always like "kyaaa I can't say the oath in front of other people (blushes runs away)"

He is so wildly unlucky dude. One time he got a trailer after crashing on the couch at ferris for a couple days and I was like oh boy hes not homeless anymore!! And then literally like two panels later it got hit by like a comet or smth and destroyed. And then when he was exiled to space for a bit he was sleeping on an asteroid. Like picture a little minecraft bed on an asteroid that's basically what his living situation was. Anyways that asteroid also got destroyed within like a page so.

He went on oprah once as green lantern! He's also signed a check as green lantern (not on purpose) and he might be allergic to peanuts

One time he went camping and he wanted to make ollie's camp chili recipe but it called for mushrooms so he brought canned mushrooms with him. But the mushrooms were tainted and he got sick and couldn't use his ring and he fell off a cliff trying to rescue someone. Like imagine being stuck on a cliff and seeing the green lantern (guy who can fly) try to scale the cliff to save you but then he fucking falls off the cliff. Embarrassing...

Another time he lost his lantern and he was like trying to follow its trail in space but he was worried about his ring being low so he was like. Internally debating on calling superman for help. But then he visualized superman (twice hals size) picking him up and slamming him against a wall and yelling at him. So there's that. He's also taken a nap in the middle of space before!

One time carol asked him over to watch cartoons in their underwear (she wanted to get laid) but hal spent the entire time doing math homework. It also took hal like seven months to ask carol out to lunch with friends. He practiced in front of a mirror even. (She said no, she didnt even realize he was hitting on her) (this was in their senior year of college)

Edit: also he's been arrested as green lantern MULTIPLE times and he just??? Goes along with it??? He's like ah shit well you got me guys time to go to jail I guess :(

under the cut since im Incapable of keeping things short:

funy lil swap au! ft:  Yui: “Older” Brother who Thinks he’s in charge. a beleaguered 14-year-old who stumbled into being a slayer and super isn’t prepared for this. Unfortunately, having your sole remaining family turn into a demon is kind of antithetical to “go home and pretend nothing happened.” he is handling this very well. (lie) a user of wind-breathing, his main priority is keeping him and mui safe, and is a bit overprotective. which is a problem, since mui will charge headfirst into the first sign of danger to protect him. their relationship is a bit messy, but they’re pretty much the only thing holding each other together. a kid trying so hard to act bigger than he is-- and inevitably, routinely failing.

Mui: Odd Little Creacher secretly hiding Rage More Powerful Than A Thousand Suns. just barely surviving the attack of their family one fateful night by That Man, he manages to completely break the curse and hunger or being a demon through his own sheer will. unfortunately, he also completely loses control of himself and, in order to make sure that energy doesnt completely tear him apart, his consciousness completely mists over-- leaving him rather airheaded and distant in an attempt to hold back the roaring of a new power he cannot control. . but hes so silly!! ^w^ couldn’t hurt a fly!!

Murata: Some Fucking Guy who just so happened to get roped into all this. is just absolutely baffled this kid is out here slaying demons like this, and is honestly doing his best to make sure he doesn’t stupidly get himself killed. despite being at a higher rank than them, though, he’s kind of... well, he hasn’t gotten the hang of water-breathing techniques. try as he might, he just cant quite reach the same skill level as some of his peers. even still though, he has to keep trying. he has a job to do, and promises to keep. 

Susamaru: Professionally identifies as a Problem. a user of beast-breathing, she just kind of... shows up one day and starts antagonizing. originally started fighting the twins for the honestly-kind-of-reasonable reason of “That Kid Is A Demon And Thats A Fucking Problem” but got distracted messing with yui enough to get. kinda curious about the other one. she’s loud and brash and fucking annoying, but at some point she just... asserted herself. and never left.  she’s an odd case. ridiculously skilled at the whole slaying-demons thing, she just... doesnt seem to take things seriously. has a penchant for irritating people on purpose-- but its purely for the extent of understanding how they work. what makes them tick. she’s here for a good time, not a long time. most of her peers don’t like her much, but once she’s decided that she likes someone, theres very little she wont do for them. and these nerds just so happen to be next on the list. 

. all in all, its just these dorks against the world. there’s just. a ridiculous amount of mess ive written about how they function and how their arcs shape up, and while there Are some other roles and etc written up, my brain has been completely laser focused on These Four In Particular, so . \o/ ! anyway, heres a bunch of ambient sketches from all over the place of Them(tm)
