Really just an incredible story. Shows exactly why Squall is the best, deadliest and most revered SeeD. Not just in physical power but because he can strategize with intense accuracy. And Rinoa’s coming into her sorcery, the Timber Owl’s growing up and growing a pair, the final battle, the steamy love scenes and SeeDs kicking major major ass... it’s got everything. Fuck I’m a happy fangirl.

So! This piece was fun! The sketch was giving me fits. I couldn’t get the perspective right until I started in with a glow brush to show my teenage artist daughter different light source examples, and wa-LA... I put a glowy line on the back of Squall’s big ass head of hair and perspective just pushed into place. Yay.

I’ve always found his inner pledge to protect her to be deeply romantic and the Sorceress and Knight bond aspect wholly fascinating. It brings to mind chivalry and fairytales in a unique way.

MY LIFE IZ A TUMBLR TEXTPOST

Ok so every Saturday night I go 2 thiz tea place with my mom cuz they have live jazz every Saturday night from 7–9 P.M.!!!! And um performerz switch every week [usually a duo, there r some that come often tho] and tonight there was a singer/guitarist and a keyboarder!!! And um so the room they were performing in was kinda empty after 8 P.M. and it was just me and my mom and another table with 2 old ladiez and tbh I think they were kinda drunk [they also have some alcoholic drinkz there] 😭,, the musicianz started playing Don’t Go Breaking My Heart by Elton John [kinda breaking the jazz thing lmao but they thought it would b fun] and one of the old ladiez made a joke about getting up and dancing and then she did. My mom and I started dancing and singing along too it was so fun!!! The singer got up and started doing the thing where she’ll sing a line and then turn the mic towardz someone else 2 sing the next one!!!!!! It was so cool dhdjdbdjdkdh core memory unlocked thank u drunk old lady <33,,, the tea and dessert were great tonight too :]!!!
