On this day:
MAN IN PAJAMAS DISAPPEARS
On April 15, 1959, at a motel in Illinois, Mrs. Bruce Campbell woke up to discover her husband and his pajamas missing; their money, their car, and his clothes remained. Journeying across country to visit their son, they had stopped for the night in Jacksonville. Neither Bruce nor any explanation for his disappearance was ever found.
In 1763, in Shepton Mallet, England, paraplegic Owen Parfitt rested in his chair at dusk, in full view of the farmhands working in a field across from him. Storm clouds were advancing, so his sister and a friend went to bring Owen inside. But Owen had vanished, leaving behind only his coat, neatly folded on the seat. Investigations at the time and again in 1814 and 1933 discovered no explanation for his disappearance.
In 1900, in Sherman Church, Michigan, a worker at the Augusta Mills jumped up from his chair in the office, rushed into the mill, and was never seen again. The mill was practically torn apart, and the countryside scoured, with no result.
In 1949, in Vermont, ex-soldier James Tetford was traveling back to the Bennington Soldier's Home by bus when he, but not his luggage, vanished from the moving vehicle. Fourteen other passengers and the driver noticed him asleep in his seat, and then he was gone. The Bennington area is known for unexplained disappearances.
In 1971, in Stonehenge, England, a camp of hippies were singing and smoking cannabis around their campfire when an electric storm erupted around them. A blinding blue light flashed, screams were heard, and the hippies vanished without a trace.
In 1975, in New York City, Martha and Jackson Wright pulled their car over while driving through the Lincoln Tunnel. They got out to wipe the vehicle windows—Jack the front and Martha the back. When Jack turned around, Martha had vanished.

Random Dragonfable Theory : the Twin Dragons and Hawkscry
So, a while back, the DF devs posted this Pantheon Chart
So a bit of time ago I decided to take a stab at it, with... mixed results
However, the one I'm currently focusing on is this one
Clearly, the two green squares made alongside the Avatars by the Aequilibria are the Twin Dragons. However, this singular square beneath them bothered me... a lot. I couldn't find a proper idea of what it could possibly be
And then, an idea struck me
Let's go back to a poem that was the source of a previous theory of mine for me : the Hawkscry Calamity Poem
The first three animals are references to Mechquest and GEARS, right? But what about the Dragon. A reference to their disappearance in MQ? Maybe, but... how does it relate to Hawkscry
But, there is something else that relates to dragons and disappearances
The twin's first Death, directly described by GenoKratos and implied by a book in the Falconreach Libraseum
So, to recap
Hawkscry's destruction, according to the AF2 Poem, involved a dragon, somehow, somewhere, and it resulted in this dragon's disappearance
The Twin's first death was also explicitly described as a disappearance, with the source of their death unknown
What if these two are linked? What if whatever caused Hawkscry's destruction also resulted in the death of one or both of the Twins. What if they were actively responsible for Hawkscry's destruction, or were simply present and caught in the explosion.
Of course, all of this could be circumstantial evidence, nothing concrete... however there is one more thing that has been on my mind. And it's the text that appears if you hover your mouse over the Fissure in the Travel Map
Symbolism much?

Also an excellent one, that's The Unexplainable Disappearance of Mars Patel! This is a kid show, an adventure in science and space! Kids at Mars' school are missing, and none of the adults are doing anything! Looks like Mars and his friends will have to find them.

Just looking back on an experience I had as a very young girl; I was in primary school and I'd been wagging for a few weeks. Literally just peacing out after lunch and going to my home that was a two minute walk down the road. And my parents would never know bc they were always home after me anyway. So I'd just walk out of the school's unattended back gate every day. But one of those days (i.e. the last day I ever wagged school) I was walking out the back gate when I was accosted by A Grown Man. In hindsight he was probably just 18yo, if that, but to 9yo me he was Grown. And he was like 'I've been watching you wagging school, that's rly bad, I go here and I'm going to tell on you'. And this was a primary school, for little kids, not 18yo men, and I'd never seen this guy before, so suspicious, but 9yo didn't really know any better, so I was sort of pissing myself thinking I'm gonna be in trouble. And I was like 'I have NOT been wagging' and he was like 'yes you have I've watched you wagging the whole of this week, what's ur name?' And I was lucky I was already becoming A Bad Bitch by that point bc I was thinking 'well fuck it I'm in trouble anyway I guess' and I said to him 'I don't have to tell you my name and I don't talk to strangers' and I ran, like sprinted, to my house. I looked back once, saw him following me, but then 30 seconds later I was home letting myself in. Never saw or heard from him again. And young me sort of filed that under 'odd, inexplicable occurrences of which I can't ever tell my parents bc they'll be pissed that I was wagging' but now I'm 30yo and remembering that like WHAT in the actual FUCK??

this was your master plan? fake your death, see what happens? / from grey tho
For: @coveitous
Verse: Dirty Business (MI6)
She could explain it. She could give him the entire story, every sordid detail of how and when, and who the poor woman he had been forced to identify truly was. It wouldn’t change the fact she still stood here, breathing. Heart beating against her ribs like a kick drum at the sight of him.
A year could move quickly. Time could leave marks around their eyes, deepen their laughter lines. But the hurt, well, that was fresh. A year spent travelling on the orders of some government agent or another, rather than coming home to a bed they used to share. She wanted to remind him of the name scrawled in sharpie on his heart on a street corner, but she could already tell that would end badly.
“I’m not going to apologise.”
She didn’t move from her spot, leaning against the door frame with her grey gaze fixed solely on him. “You knew what you were getting into with me, I made that very clear.”
