I know this is just sort of the nature of Tumblr and the internet in general, but I genuinely deeply, deeply resent the way reactionary, inflammatory behavior tends to get the most instant gratification type of attention from both those who agree and disagree with the subject matter in conversations about transandrophobia. It's blatantly obvious and it's childish / teenagerish in a way I am deeply uninterested in. Which sucks because it absolutely comes at the cost of the state of the transandrophobia tag being filled with types of rhetoric I find really distasteful.

It's part of why I've shifted focus into generally just posting more about gender and feminism with a focus on trans masculinity, rather than specifically posting about transandrophobia explicitly honestly.

I think a lot about an anon I got forever ago that essentially accused me of having a "holier than thou complex" or something along those lines and maybe there is truth to the fact that I like being mostly on my own over here in my own corner doing my own thing posting about feminism and gender - but I also genuinely just don't see any merit or meaningful function in being intentionally inflammatory or argumentative or poking bears with sticks for the sake of engagement. It's purposeless beyond the mini dopamine hit a ton of notes and support gets you and that's very much not the reason I made and continue to use this blog, you know?

It'll be interesting to watch though because I'm already starting to see a decline that is really actually echoing what happened with transmedicalist spaces in the 2010's.

A lot of transmed spaces, at least when I was initially being introduced to them, were actually full of a lot of people who were passionate about understanding more about medical transition - particularly the destigmatization surrounding trans masculine medical transition. There wasn't a lot of talk about dysohoria being necessary to transness or brain sex type stuff, so much as it was a lot of guys who wanted more research into different kinds of bottom surgeries, sharing information about top surgery options, challenging biased ideas about testosterone as a scheduled drug, etc. etc.

Then those spaces started melding with truscum spaces and the people interested in genuine medical advocacy began to jump ship because the reactionaries were becoming too much to manage.

I'm definitely starting to see something similar happen right now. And you know? I'll be deeply disappointed if something like that happens to the conversation on transandrophobia, but also? I'll kind of be unsurprised - especially given the fact that I have already unfollowed folks for bordering on things like transmed rhetoric themselves the last few months.

I won't stop posting in the ways I do in my own little corner because I believe in the things I say and the work I do on and offline, but it is fascinating and sad to watch this kind of thing happen again from the sidelines.

out of curiosity, would you happen to know of any trans women and/or trans fem tumblrs that are safe to follow as a trans masc?

it seems that nearly all the trans fems and women i was already following* have begun to post transandrophobic and/or baeddel sentiment

i want to follow more trans fems; i just want to keep myself safe in the process

*disclaimer that i know it's only a vocal minority of trans fems who dislike trans mascs, i just don't have the energy to seek out and vet a bunch of accounts myself right now

this isn't specific to transfems, but I do have a list of folks who are not transmasc but support use of the term "transandrophobia", and a good amount of those people are transfem.

I will say that personally, I usually just follow people and then unfollow/block them if I come across something shitty (or vet them if I see something that feels off), rather than try to vet every single person I follow upfront. that may not be practical for you, and that's fine, too! but just in case alternatives are helpful to anyone.

I also think it's pretty rare that anyone has exclusively bad takes, and it is, imo, entirely fine to follow and reblog the Good Stuff from someone who also has shitty takes- especially if you straight up don't know about the shitty takes yet. more than a couple people who I currently have blocked, and even some folks who vocally hate me specifically, are also people who I at one point followed for a long time, who I actively liked at one point, and who have said some good, solid stuff that I wholeheartedly agree with.

I avoid those folks now & I disagree with a lot of what they say, I think a lot of their actions are harmful, but like. it's okay to be surprised, is all. it's okay to agree with some of the stuff they say. it's also important to be critical about why, how you're interpreting it vs. how they mean it, why they believe what they do and whether that should prompt some questions about why you do, etc. but like. sometimes people with bad opinions also just have good opinions, and sometimes they even have them for the same reasons you do, and that's normal.

just to say that I hear the safety aspect you're speaking to, and of course if you say it's purely about safety for you then like, totally. I think there's also a tendency towards paranoia around the Good People I Can Follow and the Bad People I Can't Follow, and I want to encourage folks to question that, if it is where they're at.

Moving On - Jack Harlow x f!reader

Meeting Jack one year ago and him asking you on that first date was possibly the biggest blessing and curse. The nickname Princess that he often used with you was one that was well suited for you considering he always treated you like one. It was for the simple reasoning that Jack Harlow was whipped. The boy loved the chase and when he finally caught you, he held on like his life depended on it. Even fans started to pick up on it and you two slowly began to become the internet’s favourite couple. Part of it was due to you both never shying away from sharing your relationship publicly, especially when both your careers were smaller in scale.

Now with his rise to fame, and his increasingly busier schedule, all of that seemed to slowly fade. FaceTime calls were scarce; growing longer in time between calls. It was frustrating to say the least, especially because it felt like you were putting in more effort into the relationship than he did.

Jack sighed as he ran his free hand through his curls. The other hand held onto his phone tightly in front of him as he stared at your face that was present on his screen. "I thought you of all people would understand this life. So why are you constantly complaining?” he muttered.

You scoff and shake your head in annoyance. One thing about Jack was that he was stubborn. The both of you had always agreed to be communicative during your relationship but whenever you tried to bring up something that was bothering you, he always took offence and an argument ensued. "I want to be dating you, Jack! Not my phone! You barely have time for this relationship--I'm always the one flying out to where you are or rescheduling my shoots. I can't-I can't keep being second place to your work," you say with a sigh. "You don't ever try to compromise--"

“Y/N you know that I’m busy—”

You furrow your brows, the pettiness rising within you. “You weren’t fucking busy when you were in South America letting that brazillian bitch prance around you—”

Jack clenched his jaw as he let out a steady breath, trying to remain calm. “Why do you keep acting like that trip wasn’t also work?” he interrupted with a question. “And I fucking told you before that nothing happened between me and her. She was exaggerating our interactions.”

“Jack you don’t get it! When you asked me if you should do that festival-you knew it was the only week I had free before my next project,” you frowned.

Jack let out a frustrated sigh, “baby I told you to come join me—”

“And I told you I wanted to go back home to see my family that I hadn’t seen in a year and I wanted you come with me and you still didn’t consider it,” you argue. “I always come to Lousville for you and you never do the same Jack.”

“Why don’t you cut the fucking bullshit excuses and just tell me what you want,” Jack said firmly, his tone and expression fully annoyed.

At that, you were truly baffled. You couldn’t believe your ears because after all of this talking, he still didn’t know the root of the argument. All you wanted was for him to be more considerate and spend more time with you but apparently that flew way over his head.

Taking in a shaky breath, you pause a moment before you let out a sigh. “I want to break up with you…Because I just can’t do this anymore,” you admit quietly.

Jack’s eyes widened as he let out a scoff, his face turning red with anger. "Are you fucking kidding me right now?! You’re breaking up with me?” he asked, his voice raising.

“Yes because you don’t care anymore!”

“You know what? Fuck you,” was all he said before he hung up the FaceTime call on you. He proceeded to toss his phone aside before he leaned back in his bed and ran both his hands through his hair then down his face. His heart rate was picking up and the urge to cry was overwhelming. “Fuck,” he muttered, his breathing now laboured.

It was now two months later and to say you felt empty was an understatement. You missed Jack more than anything. You thought you’d be accustomed to it from the fact that even while you two were together, spending time with one another was difficult. But now you realized you took the little things like your little nightly FaceTime calls for granted.

Since the breakup, you managed to cleanse all of your socials from all occurrences with Jack. Neither of you put out an official statement of the breakup but your fans were able to assume correctly with the way you archived all of your photos together and stopped posting him and showing your support towards his shows.

Now you were sat in a dressing room, preparing to go on Ellen. Your publicist convinced you it was a good idea despite you actually hating the tv personnelle.

“Okay Y/N. You’re on in five,” an assistant spoke, you nodding to confirm.

Also in LA, Urban sat in the van with the tv on, waiting for your appearance on Ellen. Jack was off doing something in preparation for one of his shows later that night which had Urban confidentally use the massive tv rather than his phone.

To his luck, Jack barged right in the second you appeared on screen. Urban slightly panicked, searching for the remote which made Jack laugh at his best friend.

“You’re watching porn on the big screen now?” Jack teased as he toed off his shoes before he glanced up at the tv. “Oh,” he mumbled, his breath getting caught in his throat as he watched you and Ellen greet one another.

Urban instantly felt bad, his fingers finally finding the remote. “I Uh-I can turn it off.”

Jack quickly shook his head, “nah. It’s fine,” he said, plopping down onto the couch next to his best friend. “The fuck is she doing on Ellen? She fucking hates her,” he mumbled, crossing his arm as he watched curiously.

After sharing greetings and talking about your newest project, Ellen started to ask the invasive questions. You truly wished you could’ve avoided it but knowing her, you couldn’t.

“So you’re recently single right?” Ellen began. You licked your lips in annoyance before you shrugged nonchalantly, choosing not to say anything which only made Ellen smirk. “Its not a false assumption considering you deleted all of your photos with the rapper Jack Harlow.”

You sigh. “Well then you assume correctly,” was all you say.

Ellen hums in acknowledgment. “Are any of the rumours of why you broke up true?” she asked.

You shake your head. “None of them are true. It was just…bad timing,” you shrug, anxiously playing with your fingers. “I’d um…I’d honestly rather not talk about it,” you breathed out.

Jack continued to watch with a frown. “Bad timing? She didn’t even try to make things work between us!” he argued, mainly to himself. Urban sighed before he looked to Jack. “Dude if watching this is just gonna make you mad then let’s just go out—”

“I’m fine, Urb.”

Urban threw his hands up in surrender. “Whatever you say.”

Back in the studio, Ellen continued on with her interrogation towards you. “Are you dating around?”

You shake your head and let out a small and almost mocking laugh. “Nah. It’s a bit insulting if I was able to move on that quick don’t you think? I’m working on myself too you know. Don’t think I can say the same about him though,” you mumble under your breath, referring to how multiple photos of Jack and other women were surfacing on the web post breakup. The catch was he wasn’t actually sleeping with any of them.

Ellen grinned, having felt successful at getting some pettiness out of you. “You’re right,” she chuckled. “But it’s been two months and you deserve happiness so…let’s play who’d you rather!”

You furrow your brows and nod slowly. “So what’s the objective?”

“I’ll show you two men and you choose who’d you rather go on a date with,” Ellen put simply. You nod in understanding before you lean back in your seat in preparation.

The screen shifts and presents two men. “Justin Bieber or Drake?” Ellen mused in question.

“Drake for sure,” you respond with a grin. “I love Toronto so he’d be taking me there,” you joke with a shrug.

Jack scoffed but remained silent as he continued to watch, his jaw clenched.

Drake remained on screen and Justin was then replaced by Shawn Mendes. “Hm still Drake,” you confirm. Ellen nods and the next pair showed up.

“Ooh okay…are you still with Drake or are you choosing Chris Evans?” she smirked. Your eyes widened and a small laugh escapes you. “Ooh this one is tough…Chris Evans is really cute,” you think aloud.

“He’s an older man,” Ellen points out. You shrug, “sometimes you need that maturity,” you muse, indirectly insulting Jack. “So I’m choosing Chris.”

Ellen smirked. “Chris or Bryson Tiller?”

“Ooh Bryson is so fine.” You say without hesitation. “But he’s taken and I love his girlfriend so I think I’ll stick to Chris.”

The next photo that appears puts Chris against Jacob Elordi. Eyes widening slightly, you pause a moment for contemplation. “Damn…I think I’m leaning towards Jacob,” you confess with a small blush. “I like how tall he is and his accent is to die for…” you swoon. “He’s definetly very attractive. I wouldn’t mind going on a date with him,” you shrug.

The game continues and you stay persistent with your choice being Jacob which has Jack fuming to say the least.

Rolling his eyes, Jack stood up abruptly. “Fuck this,” he muttered, shaking his head and walking away.

“Jack Harlow! Thank you for joining us today,” the male radio host mused. Jack smiled politely and nodded, “thanks for having me,” he said back.

“Okay now we’ll definetly get into your upcoming album and the making of it but first…I think we all collectively want to know the tea,” the man smirked.

Jack let out a small laugh before he shrugged nonchalantly. “Shoot man. What you wanna know?” he asked, leaning back in his seat confidentially.

“You and Y/N man…what happened with that? It got messy real quick.”

Jack let out a sigh. “It is what it is,” he shrugged. “Aight but who broke up with who? Cos she’s moved on pretty quick—”

“She broke up with me…for some shitty ass reasons too. But I gotta clarify and clear my name cos some people think I cheated but I didn’t. I loved her too damn much to do that to her,” he mumbled, looking away momentarily and clearing his throat.

The interviewer furrowed his brows. “So why y’all break up then?”

“She wanted more attention then I could give her,” he shrugged. “Nothing nasty happened. It’s just life.”

The interviewer examined Jack’s reaction a moment before he asked the next question. “You still in love with her?”

Jack let out a sarcastic laugh. “All ima say—haven’t been laid in a hot minute. Can’t seem to get it up for anyone but her,” he joked.

When fans caught wind that Jack was still in love with you and couldn’t move on, some hated you for it while others encouraged him to win you back.

He wanted so badly to text you or reach out in any way but he never did. Partly due to the fact that he didn’t want to lose his dignity but the other factor being that he thought you’d reject him. You did break up with him after all.

After hearing about Jack’s interview, you became desperate for him. Nothing serious ended up happening with Jacob and it was mainly because Jack was still on your mind 24/7 and after hearing he still loved you—you wanted him back.

When his album released, you listened to it the second it hit midnight, a mix of anxiety and excitement present as you heard it. By the end of it, you were so incredibly proud of him.

At that moment, you decided to just bite the bullet and text him. You had missed him so much and you thought maybe this was your only chance.

You: Hey J. I just heard the album. I’m so fucking proud of you. I know how hard you worked on it and it shows. It’s a masterpiece.

Neelam saw Jack’s phone ding and light up with a notification and she couldn’t help but glance to see who it was. When she did, her eyes widened.

“Who is it?” Jack asked, munching happily on some chips. Neelam licked her lips and cringed slightly. “It’s Y/N…but I think you should ignore her text—”

Neelam barely had the chance to finish her sentence before he snatched the phone off of the coffee table, his eyes widening. His heart rate picked up as he read the text over and over, a smile making its way onto his lips. Noticing this, Neelam let out a sigh. “Jack she’s only gonna hurt you again if you text back,” she warned.

“She won’t,” he defied stubbornly. “And it’s none of your business,” he mumbled, slipping out of the room and heading into a more private one. He bit his lip as he contemplated how to respond to your text.

Jack: You in LA?

You: Yeah. Until the end of the month

Jack: I’m doing a meet and greet tomorrow. Come over to my hotel after I’m done?

You: I’d like that a lot

Jack grinned upon reading your reply. It felt like he was on cloud nine in that moment, the giddiness overtaking his entire being. He quickly sent you the details and for the first time in a while, Jack went to bed excited for the next day.

As you approach the hotel Jack was staying at, your nerves were getting the better of you. You contemplated one too many times if you should turn back but you wanted to see him more than anything.

The second Jack heard your knocks, he immediately swung open the door. Both your breaths got caught in your lungs as you stared at one another. It had been too long for either or your likings.

Without missing a beat, you instantly throw yourself into him, your arms wrapping around his neck. “I’ve missed you so much,” you breath out into the crook of his neck. Jack took the opportunity to embrace you back, his heart beating wildly at you being in his arms again. “Miss you too mamas.”

Eventually he takes the step to pull away with a small smile on his lips. He takes your hand and leads you into the hotel room, the two of you taking a seat on the edge of the king sized bed.

You both sit in this half awkward half comfortable silence before he decided to speak. “So um…you and Jacob?” he mumbled in question, looking down at his feet.

Your brows furrowed and you shook your head. “We went on like two dates but nothing happened.”

“But you wanted something to happen right?”

“What? No,” you respond back firmly. “Was too hung up on you still to allow anything more to happen.”

Jack scoffed, “but you obviously wanted something to happen though? Y’all looked real close in the photos that came out,” he said lowly. “If you were still hung up on me then you wouldn’t have gone out with him.”

You take in a sharp breath as your eyes narrowed at him. “Did you ask me to come here for you to argue and get your frustration out or something?”

Jack let out a defeated sigh as he ran a hand through his curls. “I still love you,” he confessed, so quietly you almost didn’t hear him. “And it hurt me so much that you moved on so quickly.”

Your hand instantly reaches for his, giving them a gentle squeeze. “Except I didn’t move on. I tried because I thought it would make me feel better but I promise you Jack nothing happened. I couldn’t bare the thought of being with someone other than you,” you said softly, looking into his baby blue eyes. “Because I still love you too. But I couldn’t keep going with this relationship being one sided. It wasn’t fair.”

“You keep saying one sided like I fell out of love with you or something,” Jack said in offence, his brows furrowed.

“It’s what it would’ve turned in to,” you said. “Jack-baby it got to the point where we barely talked. You stopped doing all the little things that I loved- you stopped caring completely. I put in so much more effort than you did. Was I supposed to wait until you really did fall out of love with me or found pleasure in someone else?” you asked, not having even realized that you had begun crying.

Jack instantly cupped your cheeks with his larger hands, wiping away the tears with his thumbs as he looked at you with pure determination in his features. “I promise you I’ll do better. I’ll stop blowing off your family and I won’t miss any more anniversaries and I’ll call you every fucking day like it’s a religious obligation. I’ll be the boyfriend you deserve,” he promised. “Just be mine again,” he practically begged.

“I’ve always been yours,” you say, smiling softly before you eagerly sealed the deal by pressing your lips to his in a passionate kiss. Jack kissed back with fever, the two of you desperately clawing at each other to get even closer if possible. You moaned softly into the kiss as Jack laid you both down on the king sized bed, his hands running down your hot body, making butterflies erupt in your stomach and for the wetness to pool between your thighs.

“I love you so much,” he groaned against your mouth, pressing his clothed hard on against your thigh.

“I need you Jack.”

“Fuck—never thought I’d ever hear you say that again,” he mumbled softly, pressing a tender kiss to your lips again. “So let me make you feel good,” he whispered, licking his lips before smirking and inching his way further down your body.

Okay so I've been getting alot of frustrated asks mad at tkkrs and antis on twitter, right? Unfortunately I tend not to post them because I don't wanna bring too much negativity on this blog. Especially when some of those things are vile AF. Anyway, the point of this post is, My friends and I are in a Jikook discord and a few of us do this thing on twitter where we fight antis and shit especially when they come to Jikook spaces.

As we know recently a big Jikook account with 15k followers was attacked the other day for liking a post from an anti. But she had no idea that person was one. She just liked the post coz it was Jikook related. It's an easy mistake to make, really. She tried apologising and explaining she'd blocked the anti but these assholes didn't listen. They went though her profile and started commenting under all her regular, normal tweets that she was an anti and should be ashamed of herself or whatever. They were determined to give her no peace whatsoever.

When called out themselves, one account shamelessly said that they were antis and proud. That they didn't pretend that they don't hate Jimin. This really made me mad. It's not the first time they've been quite proud of the Jimin hate they partake in. Tkk accounts will gets thousand of likes on a post hating on Jimin and this ain't right. An anon sent in an ask venting about us being cowards and I agree. They attack Jikookers and these jkkrs end up deleting their Jikook posts. THIS SHIT AIN'T RIGHT!!! Its not.

They do this thing where they move in balk. My friends and I tried to back this account up. Encouraged her not to let them get to her. But it dont matter that 5 people are on your side if 30 people are telling you to kill yourself its just... /sigh/

This account is still running. But they had to unfollow everyone they follow and start from scratch. This ain't right guys. Its just not fair no matter how u look at it. I think we need to start giving tkkrs the same energy they give us.

Simply ignoring them is NOT working. We don't go to them, they come to us. I think its time Jikookers fought fire with fire. Which is why I'm making this post. A few of us had the idea to create a Jikook fighting discord.

If you are reading this and are tired of taking shit lying down. If you have wanted to fight these people but you were worried that you are just one person and won't make a difference. If you see the Jimin hate and wish there was something you could do about it, I come with an offer. Fuck tkkrs. Fuck antis. Fuck solos and fuck ot7 accounts that call out the vermin but then delete their tweets when they start to loose followers. Fuck all these people. Lets do something about this, ourselves.

Tkkrs are the ones causing chain reactions. If they didn't attack Jimin, Jimin solos wouldn't attack V and JK. (Yesterday I saw an art of JK with a dirty diaper and I just...🤮) If they shipped in peace and didn't attack Jimin literally all this shit wouldn't be happening.

Idk man I feel like its not really in the spirit of communism or good humanity in general for an overwhelming majority of artists to say "I don't want my work used in this way, and this type of technology unchecked has a track record of harming other communities while simultaneously producing a lower quality output and having a negative effect on the whole industry and allowing big corporations to further exploit us" and then for you to say "it's not technically stealing and also you shouldn't HAVE to rely on this art for your income because capitalism is bad anyways." Let me tell you, a transformative work by a human being is genuinely transformative, took time effort and creativity and ultimately pays homage to the original artist. That may be the law that these AIs are operating under but it is NOT the same and people have a right to be upset. You're getting an unfollow for this one and maybe you should learn to listen to communities better when they speak out for themselves.

i mean this in a very literal sense and not as an insult: you and everyone who agrees with you are modern-day Luddites. Luddites saw the advent of automation during the Industrial Revolution as a threat to the necessity of human workers and responded by destroying machines in cotton and wool mills.

the Luddites arguably had a point - automation did reduce the number of workers that mills (and all other factories) needed to run, and the existence of automation pushed those remaining workers to work even harder to increase productivity.

the Luddites also famously lost. workplace automation is still everywhere and growing . it's literally my job, in fact.

i understand that this entire development sucks for artists working off commission, but there really isn't any way to stop this from happening now that the genie is out of the bottle. that isn't how technology works. you can get mad at the people using AI to rip off/undercut specific artists, but that's about it. anything beyond getting mad is either fighting market forces wildly beyond your or anyone else's control, or advocating for increased copyright/IP law, which, like, you don't want that, please, for the love God do not let AI art trick you into thinking IP law is a good thing

Confession: a lot of your anons, and you, are saying exactly what I’m thinking. I think Z unfollowing everyone threw newbies and younger fans for a loop. She’s been saying for a while that social media makes her anxious. I think the strike and postponement of her movies allowed her to see what life is like when she isn’t constantly working. She and Tom were able to continue building their lives together. They decorated their homes. They spent quality time with their families on different continents. Z was able to live without having to post on socials and I think she maybe realized how much she enjoyed being offline. She’s not about to get rid of Instagram, but unfollowing everyone is a way to make going online to post a quick pic about work easier. There are a lot of fans who feel entitled to her life, and messaging her, Darnell, and her family intrusive things. Once Challengers is released, I can see that immature people will flock to the comments, just like they did after a certain scene in TCR.

Z didn’t post about her quick trip to Brazil to attend the con with her Dune cast mates. She did not post the trailer or any of the other BTS clips that were released. She’s really taking a step back (but will be posting about it once her press tour starts). I think she’s largely done using social media for anything other than work. It drives me crazy when people automatically assume that clearing her following is solely about Tom because the signs of her wanting to be less active have been there. Z wants to protect her peace. Her relationship is part of that, but I don’t think that’s the only factor.

It also drives me crazy that some “fans” keep insisting or hoping that a break up happened. The man literally caught on film and emphatically denied a break up. A day afterwards (just last week!), Tom needed no prompting to mention Z in an interview. People just need to let them be and remember that they’ve never been the couple to be caught out and about every week at some hot spot. They genuinely enjoy their privacy.

through the whole time I’ve been following you I’ve never once seen you say anything about Palestine before. Since the news broke about Hamas killing Israelis, rightfully so you’ve shared posts etc about it all and it seems like posting about st/byler is the last thing you wanna think about rn. What’s been done is awful) and fuck anyone who doesn’t wanna read about it bc it makes them feel bad. I would be more willing to agree with you on the things you say/repost if I’d seen you post about it before… but you haven’t. I’ve never seen you talk about Palestine before on your byler based acc (bc you’re here to talk abt byler!) but suddenly it’s like you’re some social justice warrior who can’t bare to talk about byler bc the Israel/Palestine conflict has been brought to attention again on social media. Others who have reposted things have still posted abt things they like in between bc they know the small things they share won’t make a big difference but they want to show they still care whereas yours seems performative at this point.

I have friends who are Palestinians refugees, who can't even return to Palestine. I have a teacher that left my highschool to go back to Gaza to be with her mom. And I have no fucking idea if she's alive right now.

This is everyday for me. And I was so used to the world not caring. Up until a few years ago saying you were pro-Palestine would lead to so much hate.

But the world is talking about it now. And I will not stay silent. I will not let misinformation spread. I will not let Israel destroy Palestine's image. I will not let anyone forget about their lives. They were people. They are my people. They are my friends, my teachers, my family.

Go fuck yourself if you think this is me being performative or me showing off my knowledge. Do you fucking know why I have this knowledge???? Why I know so much?? I grew up with this.

I'm literally an Arab. I can't believe I have to fucking say this so many times. I'm not white or whatever. This is literally all I can think about right now. The Arab community (which I'm a part of) in my university are setting up donations, wearing the Palestinian Kuffeyah in solidarity, talking about this whenever and however we can. This is what it means to be Arab. We are not going to shut up about it.

I am watching my region enter a war. I literally live in the Middle East. I am watching people online call my people terrorists, barbaric, subhuman, animals. What do you expect me to do? Watch and pretend that I'm white or some shit?

Weird.

First of all and before anything else, good morning to me (It's currently 3:28pm for me lol) i set my alarm right at 9:00pm KST so waking up to my baby bunny is just

Today JK really said "It's OT7 for y'all bitches" love to see that, he also talked about GOLDEN and how it was a term used to describe him, like golden closet

Uhm he also said that he wrote a poem called "Golden" and spoke about the present which to him was a golden time. I can't believe he didn't mention golden maknae T-T Unless i missed that part.. But anygays, ah! Muy precioso 💜

Now the point of this post is something that i might've mentioned before but i've seen it today again and i was scratching my head. I'm not gonna mention names, i'm not gonna say what they do as to not narrow the possible search for who this is, but one thing i can say is that they're a Jikooker.

Now don't get me wrong if you want to follow solo accounts that are unproblematic, just post about X member, hype them up, without being disrespectful to other members, then you do you again i'm not going with a herd mentality the whole "I don't like this person so unfollow them, report them and block them" to me as long as there's nothing problematic then you do you.

The thing is that this person for a while now but even today has been liking and reposting very solo-ish posts, the type of posts being mad about comments asking JK to play this or that member's songs, saying that this live should've been about him yada yada, and this is just MY take, my non-solo take, feel free to agree or disagree.

The thing is, JK himself suggested to play songs, if members songs weren't suggested then other artist's songs would've been suggested, this is not the first time he puts on music on his lives and if anything to me JK looked really happy listening to the different members songs, he even said that he misses the members and this is not even the first time he reminds us that he is looking forward to 2025 when they will all reunite again, yet some people are having their panties on a twist that people talk about 2025.

You say that the live was supposed to be about him and his upcoming album and my question to you is, what in a 1h+ live can he say about an album that is yet to be released without spoiling anything? Am i missing a chapter here or did any other member talk for 1h about an album that is yet to come out? The only thing we know so far about the album is that the design, what comes in it, there are 3 different version + the WV one, there are 11 tracks including 3D, Seven Explicit and Clean version. So exactly what do you want him to tell you and i like to say that again WITHOUT SPOILING his album?

I want to also remind you that he was on Stationhead for 3 days where he took the opportunity to talk about 3D so again making him repeat the same things he said during those 3 days will just be repetitive for him. Why can't we just respect the fact that JK actually loves his members and genuinely wants to be reunited with them later and that he actually appreciates listening to their songs and the different colors they each have?

There's just too much projection here, just because YOU want him to talk about himself it doesn't mean that HE is uncomfortable talking about other things. A little reminder that JK had no problem calling out problematic comments before and even said that he is ignoring some comments, so instead of treating him like a child who can't make a decision for himself, know that if JK wanted this live to be about his album only, that is coming on November 3rd in case you forgot, he would've done that, he would've actually said that today's live he wants to focus on talking about it.

I want to take this opportunity to bring back something that had me rolling my eyes so far back i could almost see my brain. When there was talk about a world tour and people gave a logical explanation as to why it MIGHT not be possible based on JK's words, not anyone else's. Yet some people took a very solo-ish position to the matter bringing up the subject about MS and how he is still young and doesn't have to enlist right now that we can't make the decision for him when HE himself talked about the subject and made it clear that he too will be enlisting so they can all come back in 2025. (And by the way that one person liked and reposted those type of posts too..)

I don't know if people realize that by projecting sometimes you're basically discrediting a member's own words and wishes, we are here to listen to them and listen to what they want us to understand, yes i don't get to make decisions for them but YOU also don't get to do that.

Why don't you take the opportunity of using the remaining time for the album release to prepare questions you want to ask him about the album cause by then he would be able to talk a lot more about it, you can even prepare some questions for the possibility of him coming live after his KBS show later? Like instead of dramatizing every situation, think wisely, don't think with your own selfish feelings and remember that as much as you are a human and have feelings and needs, JK does too, he doesn't have to accommodate to what YOU want.

And again and again and again, JK is a grown up, i don't know how many times he needs to tell you, to show you, for you to understand that he isn't on a leash, he will do whatever he wants and if he doesn't like something he will simply not do it there's no gun pointing at his head to do something.

I don't know how do people even find time to whine when they're watching his live and seeing him happy, smiling, i find myself dumbly smiling back no time for drama, i'm just happy to see him on a lengthy live after a long time, i'm just happy to be sitting here watching him sipping on his concoctions, enjoying the music, singing, showing us his lil Tiktok corner, etc..

Please learn from him and grow tf up.

hello. i really enjoy your content, but i have to say i'm kinda disappointed on you still being a ts fan. this woman knows what disney does and yet she still gave them the rights, meaning she either doesn't care or actively supports the genocide. or maybe she decided to turn her morals off because money is more important. not to mention how she consistently associates herself with questionable people and how a person literally died in one of her shows on brazil and she gave zero fucks. this woman is not a good person and there are no excuses to being her fan anymore.

no, i fully understand what you're saying and where you're coming from. over the last like. idk year and a half? ive been pretty vocal about my disappointment, distaste, and disagreement with a multitude of the choices she's made lately. i 100% agree that her silence on the subject of palestinian genocide (as well as many other human rights/social causes) is at best a sign of apathy and at worst a sign of support. especially when miss americana was all about her wanting to be more outspoken and be an activist. that all feels so incredibly performative now -- and has for a while. a lot of things that she's said and done since midnights, which is when i became more active in the tumblr swiftie community, have left a bad taste in my mouth for her as a person.

like i said, i genuinely agree with what you're saying. the only thing i take issue with is that she didn't care that a fan died at her show. she donated money to the fan's family and took time to meet them. regardless of my many issues with her, i do think she can be an empathetic person and i don't think that she just straight up didn't care that someone died before her show. it's one of those things (of which there are many) where we'll never know her true thoughts bc she doesn't talk about things. which is frustrating in itself.

now that's not the point of your message, so feel free to write that off as a digression. i strongly disagree with her making yet another version of the eras tour movie and hosting it on disney+. I'm personally boycotting disney+ and have been for a while. I don't even intend on watching the new version and like the vast majority of everything I gif, that shit is pirated -- that's how I watched the original release of the movie. obviously my consumption/boycotting is just one person compared to blondie, who has influence over millions, who could make real change if she spoke out against genocide.

at this point, im not supporting her financially either apart from listening to her music. which i love. im sorry, but I do. if I didn't, we wouldn't be having this conversation. i think her constant churning out different exclusive versions of the same albums are a transparent money grab and maybe an effort to set more records as far as sales or streams or however that all works. and I'm not just saying that bc I literally couldn't even afford to buy a digital copy of an album right now.

so yeah. I appreciate that you enjoy my content and thank you for saying so, but if you need to unfollow or block, i understand. I've definitely toned down/completely stopped sharing posts about her as a person bc I'd much rather focus on just the music. and maybe that makes me a bad person for continuing to listen to and enjoy her music. im not saying i necessarily feel good about it, but i think the fact of the matter is that a lot of the celebrities, actors, musicians, etc. we like or whose content we enjoy hold views we disagree with and have different values or priorities. nuance exists. right now, im someone who is vocal about the palestinian genocide and I try to share resources/posts about it when they come across my dash and im also someone who is a fan of Taylor's music.

Idk, I hope what I'm saying makes sense at least on some level. I've done my best to word things coherently, but brain fog fucks w me a lot. and like. it's probably whatever, but I do plan on changing my url after ttpd releases. That probably upsets you more and I can see how people might think im a hypocrite or something and yeah, I get it. Idk, I just want to enjoy someone's music without endorsing them as a person, but that's extra difficult when the person in question is the biggest singer in the industry. but you'll never see me making excuses for her on things like this or the m*tty situation or numerous other things she's said and done that gross me out. im not so far up her ass that I think she's perfect or that I feel the need to defend her at every turn. like I said, nuance. anyway, if you feel the need to respond, i welcome you to do so as long as we both remain respectful, which I think we've done. this is a difficult topic, but that doesn't mean we can't discuss it.
