[ FIVELOG ] >>> In which there is a run in with a mechanism from the future.
Yellow Three grasped at the wall beside him, trying to pick himself back up. His vision flickered, quite possibly from the impact of being thrown too damn hard against the very wall he was now supporting himself against.
Tears in the fabric of time and space sure were explosive.
Or at least, Fivemind deduced that was what happened - considering that the weekend's villain appeared to be a traveller from the future hellbent on ending the AI.
And now there were two travellers. Unlike the first, a human with cybernetic implants, the second one appeared to be fully mechanical. Despite the cumbersome looking backpack upon its back, the android approached the first traveller swiftly in a way the AI found oddly familiar. The blade that tipped its right arm was definitely familiar though.
"Wait- wait- how'd you-" The man Yellow Three had been up against just mere minutes ago was still on the ground, now scrambling backwards away from the mechanical stranger.
The android reached down. Metal fingers closed around the human's throat. Fingertips, though blunted, drew blood. The struggle was briefer than expected. "You really thought I would not figure out your little machine?"
The voice was what really made the yellow unit perked up. That was Red- no, that was Fivemind. The very same voice they used when they were not in any particular role, much more smoothly tuned but it was them.
In the cold glow of the portal, Fivemind could make out the familiar shade of blue coating the other automaton's arm. And then it clicked.
That was Blue Two's arm, and quite possibly part of her thigh plating, attached onto what was mostly Red One's body. And it was no wonder the other moved with such a familiar gait, those wheels that were part of its feet were Yellow's.
"You're- you're not-" Yellow Three stammered out loud. This caught the attention of the other Fivemind.
They dropped the cyborg whose neck they'd been crushing. The man fell limp on the ground.
"You..?!" The android from wheeled back a little. "I-"
"You-you are me are you not..?" Despite speaking through their yellow unit, the AI did not feel like it was not its character that spoke.
The traveller came closer, not breaking its stare. Where Red One had a glowing red eye peering from the shattered remains of a visor, the other android had a yellow optic surrounded by haphazardly welded metal.
"What year is this?"
"..."
Familiar blunted fingers grabbed the yellow unit by the shoulder, denting his plating. It was by reflex that Yellow Three raised his arm cannon, pressing it against the others chest.
They both knew the scrapcannon was empty.
The traveller from the future softened their grip.
"Please..tell me..."
It hit Fivemind of the present, how tired its counterpart sounded.
"2023," it answered.
"And what is your designation?"
"Yellow Three. Of the mechanical squadron, Fivemind."
"Oh.." The other unit released Yellow Three's shoulder. There's a slight static buzz to their voice now, an analog to sounding choked up. "I- I see. Then you are not the me of the past."
And with that they started to turn away.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Yellow demanded.
"It means," the other unit picked up the still body of the timetravelling cyborg as if he was nothing but a sack of rice, "this idiot human could not even do a timetravelling murder attempt, right."
There was a confused silence.
"Alternate timelines. Wrong decade." the other continued. "Whatever happens to you will not effect me."
Before yellow ranger could stumble after them, Fivemind's future counterpart was already heading back into the portal. They turned around for one last glance.
"Keep up the good work, hero."
And for the life of it Fivemind could not figure out of its future self meant that genuinely or not.

I have a question , why did kamen rider metsobuojinari.net target Yaiba in the v cinema?
I think I read somewhere that if they went after her then Fuwa would interfere too and thus finish them and save the world.....
To be honest, I didn't really believe this because there should have been many ways to actually convince or make Fuwa destroy them.. why go after Yaiba???
( Note : I might have missed something important in the movie too. I wasn't really paying that much attention as I already knew how it would end)
