Because he couldn't find a big enough litter box online, Dr. Doofenshmirtz built a handheld Shrinkinator- with a built-in reverse Shrinkination setting- for Vanessa to use on Vlorkel the Alien Dragon. Vlorkel is now small enough to be tucked inside Vanessa's jacket, unless Vanessa needs (or just wants!) to ride the Alien Dragon. 

And THAT is why we never see Vlorkel outside of "Candace Against the Universe" despite that movie taking place before the "Last Day of Summer" episode- Vanessa had no reason to take Vlorkel out of her pocket!

Vanessa and Vlorkel HCs cause her getting a dragon is just plain awesome 

1. Vanessa charges people if they want a ride on Vlorkel. Cause a creature of that size needs a whole lot of food and upkeep. 

2. Norm and Vlorkel are instant playmates. He’s the only one who can roughhouse with her without sustaining serious injury (well, Heinz still has to reattach Norm’s limbs afterward but hey). 

3. Heinz used his alimony check to buy an enormous field and barn to keep Vlorkel in. He tried getting Vlorkel involved in a scheme afterward, but she shares Vanessa’s disdain for evil and destroyed his invention before Perry could so she could take a nap.
