Quiet bookworm at day, a wannabe cool hero at night. Waiko is enjoying the average MC experience - a struggle to balance a tween girl's life, and protecting innocent civilians in a (considerably low cost) disguise.

Her superpower? Just sheer determination guys. Hopefully she makes it big one day. But for now, none of the big and grown up adult villains take her seriously! She'll get them one day tho, and show them all!

Whew actually drew a background for once!! Don't get used to drawings this wholesome and innocent, I am not planning on pursuing wholesome sceneries for long. They need some spice yk? Also Waiko is a really old character, like I designed her back in 2019!

She's a (not so) regular human girl, living with her metalhead auntie, constantly anxious uncle and 3 cousins, who are all anthropomorphic chicken, with endless love for eggs and fried chicken drumsticks. Yk, the MC material.

She's trying to find out what happened to her parents, whilst learning about the recent war that struck the city. The streets are clean, painted over and bustling with life and greenery. Yet the conflict left its marks on all the 'grownups' and lead many of them down a very dark path.

With newfound justice, a new kind of evil emerged. These new 'baddies' hiding under the night's cloak, causing so much trouble...somebody has to stop them!

Yeah Waiko's view of the world is still rather childish. Thankfully. Alas, she took on the role of becoming a 'hero', tracking down these 'baddies' and catching them!

Yet, anytime she appears, the first question they have for her is "Isn't it past your bedtime, missy?"

She's working on improving her reputation.

Thank goodness I've improved since then, at least a little. I didn't know how to draw kids too much back then, and I had people mistake her for a teen way too much to make me feel comfortable :( so I think we finally fixed that?

I'm already pretty radicalized but my morning drive is radicalizing me more and more each day bc every morning I drive by this huge gorgeous mountain thats sacred to several Indigenous tribes in the region and every single day im reminded of how NOTHING is sacred to white people. This is a sacred mountain and trips to it and (partially) up it are supposed to be meditative and healing but white people come in and trudge on everything and climb up to the top when you're not supposed to climb to the top! Like why do we have to act like everything is ours to fuck up and ruin? Can we just listen to Native people and allow things to be sacred?? Like every time I go to work I get to see this mountain and it is amazing and breathtaking and I GET why its sacred and I understand how the beliefs associated with this mountain came to be and I cannot wrap my head around feeling entitled to climbing it when the local tribes specifically don't want us doing that

          HE WAS beginning to lose track of time again, how many lifetimes had he spent travelling? From hacking away at the Kharazi Jungle, to a very short lifespan in the Wilderness, he was slowly beginning to lose himself; just as he had when the Empire first fell.

     WAIKO was a nice change of scenery. With his glamour’s demise and Wahisietel starting a new life over, he had hoped putting an ocean between him and the other Mahjarrat would give him a chance to finally have peace; no more of these petty arguments between the remaining members of his tribe. He needed to get away from it all, from Zaros, from everything. He would have thought that the World Guardian stopping the Elder Gods would have made it all better...     BUT it never did.

     AT least the alcohol here was strong and the smoking was easy to get his hands on. The young fisherman reclined in his seat, letting the sound of steady rainfall outside his open window lull him to sleep. The lifestyle was taking some getting used to, but the hard work was helping him take his mind off of things. 

     THE knock to his door startled him awake, cursing in a tongue not quite fluent yet. What time was it? He stumbled over to the door, cursing again when his foot collided with his work desk. ❝ Gods above, I heard you the first time! ❞ he shouted, swinging open the door to finally get a look at the soaked stranger on his doorstep. His eyes visibly widened, though he didn’t recognize the other’s face, the salt in the air did little to mask their true scent; one he DID recognize.

i already thought of 2 things:

the seagull’s child is trying to be a seagull adventurer, so you have to smith some armor sized for seagull’s because Steven doesn’t want his kid to die but can’t stand to crush his dreams. maybe we can see some appearances of miniature seagulified bosses. they’ve already done tiny bosses for boss pets (like kril tiny-roth)

the human population of Waiko (the island the seagull’s family lived in) is getting fed up with the birds, and starting seagull traps. so now you have to convince everyone of the value of seagull’s!

come on, runescape, that took like 30 seconds! It took longer to type than to think of!

also as 1 of my british followers, what is the meaning of “he pours the milk first when he’s drinking tea”. it was listed as one of seagull satan’s sins, but the meaning swooped str8 over my head
